Summary: Post AWE Au. Calypso offer Will a choice to end the curse. Jack is searching for the Fountain of Youth and the Black Pearl. Their paths once again cross

Chapter 3

Flying Dutchmen

I stood at the helm of the Dutchmen. It had been two months since Jack had joined me as Co Captain of the Flying Dutchmen. Jack was asleep in a hammock strung up between the railing and the mast of the Dutchmen.

He had one leg hanging over the edge. Snoring. A bottle of rum nestled in his arms. I shook my head as I steered the Dutchmen away from a ship wreck. It had been abnormally quite day.

We had very few ship wrecks and a few drowning. Or just people passing on at sea. I had been Captain of the Dutchmen now for two and half months. I tried in vain to keep my thoughts off Elizabeth. That was a lost cause. All of my thoughts where of her. Memories, what she was doing, if she was alright.

"You alright son" Father spoke from beside me.

"Aye just thinking" I answered.

"Elizabeth" I nodded.

"It's hard not to. I miss her everyday."

"I'm sure it's not easy for Elizabeth ever lad. Just have faith. You two will be back together before you know it. Five years is easier then ten" Father placed a hand in my shoulder in comfort.

"Nice to see he's hard at work."I nodded to where Jack was snoring in his hammock.

"Yes it would be a shame to wake him wouldn't it" I turned the wheel hard to the starboard side.

"What the."Jack woke up as he was throw out of his hammock. "Whelp" He yelled up to the helm.

"Sorry to interrupt your beauty sleep mate. But we got work to do" I called down to him.

Jack glared at me muttered darkly under his breath as he pick up his rum bottle lying in the hammock.

"CAPTAIN. SHIP HO" Morey yelled from the crow's nest.

Father took the wheel. I pulled my spy glass from my coat. I knew that ship anywhere. It was the Empress. Elizabeth.

The Empress.

Captain Elizabeth Swann-Turner had been in her cabin. When the call came of Ship Ho. A ship had been spotted on the horizon. Leaving her quarter headed up to the helm.

"It's the Black Pearl Captain" Tai Huang handed her the spy glass.

Cotton was at the wheel of the Pearl. Barbossa stood the helm with Jack the Monkey on his shoulder. There was no sign of Gibbs nor Jack. Barbossa had marooned Jack again it seemed.

"Drop the Anchor."Elizabeth ordered.

Ana Maria came up from below with young Jacob. It had come as a surprise that Jacob was Jack's son. She could only imagine Jack's reaction when he learned he was a father.

The Black Pearl pulled along side the Empress. Dropping her anchor. A gangplank was lowered between both ships.

"Mrs Turner. It is good to see you again" Barbossa spoke first after he stepped aboard the Empress.

"Barbossa where is Jack and Gibbs" Elizabeth questioned.

"They decided to remain in Tortuga."Barbossa tried to lied.

"You are bloody crap liar Barbossa. You stole the Pearl from him again"

"I may have done. I left him with a boat this time" Barbossa tried to argue.

"None the less you stole his ship which wasn't rightfully your"

"There's nothing in the code that says I can't Barbossa argued.

"What did the crew decided" Elizabeth countered.

"We didn't want to live Captain Jack behind Poppet again. Barbossa was talking about the Fountain of Youth. He anit got the maps for it. Jack has" Pintel answered.

"Without the map you can't find the Fountain can you"

"No I bloody well can't. I was hoping you may have Sparrow in your travels Mrs Turner" Barbossa admitted.

"I haven't seen Jack since you sailed for Tortuga. I'm sure he's fine where ever he is."Elizabeth answered.

The water under both the Pearl and Empress started to ripple. The sea began to part. The sound of creaking wood caught the ears of the crews of the Pearl and Empress. Elizabeth turned around. Her eyes wide in shock.

It was the Dutchmen. What on earth was Will doing here. Ana Maria drew back in shock at the sight of the Flying Dutchmen coming up from the depths on the other side of the Empress.

Her weed sails blowing in the light wind. Will stood at the helm of the Dutchmen. Bootstrap beside him.

Barbossa to seemed shocked to see the other Captain Turner.

"Lower a gangplank."Will ordered to the crew of the Dutchmen. Her anchor was dropped at the same time.

Elizabeth stayed rooted to the spot as I stepped onto the deck of the Empress. I was slightly surprise to see Ana Maria on the Empress. A boy a year maybe a year and half old in her arms.

"Will" Elizabeth spoke so quietly I almost didn't hear her.

"Captain Turner what are you doing here. Don't you have a duty to do" Barbossa questioned.

"I don't answer to you Barbossa. You stole the Pearl from Jack. Left him with a wreck of a ship. I found him" I snapped at the older Pirate Captain.

"Is he."

"I never said he was dead. Sparrow" I called back over to Dutchmen.

"Nice to see you've missed me Darling" Jack drawled as he came aboard the Dutchmen.

"You" Ana Maria yelled placing the boy on the deck before marching up to Jack slapping him hard.

"I guess you didn't deserve that one Jack" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

"No that one I deserved mate" Jack rubbed his tender cheek where Ana Maria had slapped him.

"You said your where coming back. But your never did. I was left alone, pregnant to raise Jacob on my own."Ana Maria yelled at him.

"How did I know he's mine" That was wrong thing to say Jack. I counted in my head. I got to maybe five before.

A loud crack sounded as Ana Maria reared back slapping him harder this time. "You are lower then low Jack Sparrow" She hissed at him.

"And you didn't deserve that one either Jack" I gave him a pointed look.

"No that one I pretty much deserved."Jack rubbed his more tender cheek that was starting to bruise.

Ana Maria picked up Jacob cursing at Jack in French as she stormed off down below deck of the Empress.

"Back to the matter at hand. What are you doing here Captain Turner" Barbossa asked.

"I'm here to see my wife. Barbossa. And I would like a moment alone with her"I answered.

"When you found Sparrow. You didn't happen to find any maps in his possession did you. Namely the map we acquired from Sae Fang" Barbossa asked.

"No he had no maps on him when we found him. They where washed overboard during the storm before we found him" I lied. The maps where still in Jack's possession aboard the Dutchmen. I wasn't about to tell Barbossa that though.

Elizabeth was still looking at me like I was a ghost. Still not believing I was here with her. I moved forward till we where an arm length apart. I not sure who moved first. We held each other for a time.

"This isn't a dream" Elizabeth whispered as she looked at me.

"No my darling girl. I am here this isn't a dream" I answered pressing my lips to hers.

Sense we had a bit of audience. Elizabeth took my hand and her leading me to the Captain Cabin of the Empress.

"Will how is this possible."Elizabeth asked once we where in the Captain's cabin.

"Calypso. She relaxed the rules. We can met at Sea. As long as it doesn't interrupt my duty as Captain of the Dutchmen. She also reduced the years I have to serve before I can step on land" I began to explain.

"What. And how does Jack fit into all this" Elizabeth questioned.

"Jack's been tasked with helping me for five years. After five years Calypso will release me from the Curse. She will help Jack find the Fountain of Youth."I revealed.

"But didn't Jack lose the maps when you found" Elizabeth asked I only smiled in reply.

"Will. Jack still has those maps doesn't he"

"Aye he does. But I wasn't going to tell Barbossa that."I answered

"I too have some news. Handsome" Elizabeth place her hand over her stomach.

The pieces started to fall into places in my mind. "Elizabeth are you saying that your"

"Yes Captain Turner your aim was strong that night. I am with child."Elizabeth answered smiling.

I knelt down till I was eye level with her still flat stomach." Hello little one. I'm your papa. I will do I can to protect you and your mother" I stood back up to my full height.

Before ever of us could say a word. A knock came on the cabin door.

"Sorry to interrupt Will. We've got to go" Jack voice came from the other side of the door.

"I'll be there in a minute Jack" I answered back.

"You have to go"

"Aye I'm sorry I wish I can stay longer. I love you Elizabeth" I say before kissing her goodbye.

"I love you William Turner"

"Keep a Weather Eye on the Horizon" I kissed her once last time before leaving.
