At Dragnof
Touro lets out a roar as the Bull Dragon rams his head against the border walls of Dragnof, seeming eager to get out but at the cost of bring down the wall
Some soldiers surrounded Touro but couldn't get close to stop the Bull Dragnof because of his sheer grown size
"Touro! Stop it! you're going to break the wall!" Lucy called out to her child but Touro roars before ramming his horns against the wall, causing a big crack upon it "Touro!"
"please step back, Lucy-sama! It is too dangerous!" some soldiers grabs Lucy's arms as they tried pulling her back
"let me go! We need to stop him!" Lucy exclaimed before looking to her son who rakes his claws to the ground a few times before charging to the wall, ramming his horns against the wall, making the crack spread even more
"it won't work, Lucy" Cana came in with Hisui, Sorano, and Ikaruga behind as their children were acting up as well "Touro and the others, they're all acting wildly"
Energia and Marsha joined Touro in destroying the wall while Kageya, Tanit, and Callista lets out high pitch squeaking that is bothering with everyone's hearing
"what is going on with them?" Sorano asked as she tried calming Tanit down but the Loving Dragon squeaks even louder
"it is as if they are being called upon" Ikaruga said as she looks at her daughter who is flapping her wings very fast and tried to fly high but failed
"but by what?" Hisui said while trying to hold Callista who was squirming in her arms and was squeaking loudly
"must be what made Kaithen and the others go out in the first place!" Cana said as she tried pulling Energia's tail to stop the Brutal Dragon from destroying the wall
"we can assume things later! Right now, we have to stop them from destroying the wall!" Lucy exclaimed as the cracks were spreading even more and it was just a matter of time before the wall crumbles down, creating major damage to the kingdom
Atlas Flame and Grandeeney soon flied in as the two Dragons stopped Touro and the others from destroying the wall
Touro got slammed down as Atlas Flame puts his claw above the Bull Dragon's head and pressed it down to stop him from moving too much
"hey! I got them here in time!" Gildarts hollered out while on Grandeeney's back with Wendy
"it's about time, old man!" Cana exclaimed
"please be a bit more gentle to Touro" Lucy said with worry as Touro is growling while trying to get back up
"do not worry, I have controlled my flames to not give harm to the child" Atlas stated, pushing down Touro who tried getting back up
"Atlas-san, do you know what is going on with Touro and the others?" Hisui asked as Callista had been squeaking loudly nonstop
"hmmm" Atlas leans down to look at Callista as the Century Dragon was so vent on squirming out of his mother's arms "I do not know, but Something is calling to them"
"something is calling to them?" Ikaruga asked as she holds Kageya tight to stop her from flying away "but what?"
"I do not know, not many races can cause such things to Dragons." Atlas Flame replied "But if there were. There is only one race that can"
"one race? Which is it?" Sorano asked while Tanit was flying around squeaking around her
"the Race that can live to a Millenia like us Dragons, the Dryads" Grandeeney stated while pinning down Energia and Marsha with her claws "like us Dragons, the Dryads are a race with an enormous life span. Not only that, they can communicate with one another anywhere amongst the land. Also having the capability to see anything if there are trees"
"they also possess capabilities to communicate easily with other creatures" Atlas added in "especially to us Dragons"
"then, a Dryad was calling out to Kaithen and the others. And then to Touro and the others as well?" Lucy asked as Grandeeney nodded
"it is the only possible answer" Atlas said before Touro rams his head up and pushed the Hellfire Dragon's claw away, only to ram his horns against the wall, making the cracks spread even further than before
"Touro! Stop this at once!" Lucy shouted out as she looks angry to her son
Touro looks to his mother and sees how angry she looks
Growling lowly, Touro leans down his head and stares at his mother with innocent baby like eyes
Lucy looks at Touro with a stern stare before it was replaced with a loving smile
"it's alright, I'm not that angry at you" Lucy said patting Touro's snout, getting the Bull Dragon to let out a low purring growl to his mother "no more hitting against walls, alright? Just tell us what is going on, ok?"
Touro leans closer to his mother before leaning his head up and looks above the wall borders of Dragnof
"someone…someone is calling to us…someone in pain" Touro said as he started rubbing his head against the walls, trying to push it down
"someone in pain?" Hisui said before Callista flies out of her hands and climbed onto his elder brother's back
Kageya and Tanit did the same as they flied up to Touro's back
Energia and Marsha however were unable to as Grandeeney had them pinned down
"whoever is calling them while in pain, it's getting them all riled up" Cana said seeing how the Dragon Children were acting
"what should we do?" Hisui asked
"we follow to wherever this voice is calling to them" Ikaruga stated "we might be able to help them"
"I disagree" Atlas said "our King has ordered that all of you cannot leave the protection of Dragnof and be in the hands of danger. You all cannot leave Dragnof"
"he's right. Natsu did said the same thing to me and Yukino" Sorano said
"not true" someone spoke out as they turns and see Dimaria flying in then landing near them "Natsu only said that we are not to leave without protection of 'Dragnof'. Which means that we can go out but with guards or any sort of protection"
"still, it goes against our king's orders" Grandeeneny said as the rest of the mates look to each other and nodded
"alright then, me, Cana, and Ikaruga will go while Hisui, Sorano, and Dimaria stay behind. How does that sound?" Lucy asked as Atlas nodded
"that is acceptable" Atlas said before he looks at Grandeeney who nodded "I shall stay behind in guarding the kingdom"
"count me too" Gildarts said with a grin "whoever is calling out to my grandkids. I'm sure as hell going to help out"
"like we can count on you" Cana said rolling his eyes "just stay here"
"eeehh?! Why Cana-chwan!?" Gildarts cried out
"are we sure that Natsu might not be angry on us?" Hisui asked as the Dragon King can be very strict in protecting his kingdom and his mates with children
"I'm sure that he'll understand" Dimaria said "I think"
Natsu was still in the oasis as he suddenly sneezes
"bless you" Zeref said while the two were walking within the further part of the forest
"thanks" Natsu said rubbing his nose "you said that you kept it here?"
"yeah, it's just near here" Zeref said as he leads first and the two soon arrived at the end of the forest where there is a small cave and in that cave was Igneel's Golden Dragon Sword that was emanating a fiery red aura "there it is, the Fire Dragon King's sword. Enryu Kiba"
Natsu looks at the sword before his armor suddenly appeared on him and glowed crimson
"seems the two are corresponding to each other's presence" Zeref said as Natsu looks at his glowing armor before going to the sword
Natsu stands in front of Igneel's Dragon sword as it glimmers in a golden aura
Reaching a hand out, the sword glowed even more before Natsu picks it up and wield it
The Dragon Sword glowed before the Blade turned crimson and several magic symbols appeared upon its hilt
Natsu looks at the sword as he can feel such an immense power within it
His helmet's face plate slides open as Natsu stared upon the magic symbols on the hilt
"by father to son, I pass on my powers to you, my son. With great power comes great responsibility. Be well and be brave, Natsu" Natsu spoke out reading the magic symbols as it was a message from Igneel to him
"I am sure that he and our mother will be very proud of you" Zeref said as Natsu nodded before lifting the sword up and sees how it shines to the light
A few moments later, Natsu was preparing to leave with his father's sword in hand
"take it" Natsu said holding his mother's scythe to Zeref "you deserve it more than I do. and I know that she would've planned to give it to you instead"
Zeref took hold of the scythe and looks upon it before shaking his head to Natsu
"our mother's blood does runs through our veins, but this scythe does not belong to me nor her anymore" Zeref said before giving back the scythe to Natsu "it belongs to you now"
Natsu looks at his half brother before he nods to him
Reaching out his hand, Natsu holds the scythe as both he and Zeref grasp it and the weapon soon glows red
The two looks at the scythe before they see crimson glimmering sparkles forming a figure beside them
Natsu and Zeref looks to the sparkles as they soon formed Hael
"m-mom" "M-Mother?" Natsu and Zeref spoke out in unison as Hael smiled to her children
"Zeref…Natsu…" Hael spoke out as Natsu and Zeref stared upon her "I'm so glad that my two boys are getting along so well..it brings my heart pure joy to see the two of you being brothers together"
"mom..how are you?" Natsu asked
"my magic" Hael said as the two brothers looks to her then to her scythe that was glowing non stop "I've implemented my magic into it, and a part of my soul as well"
"but why do such action?" Zeref asked
"for two reasons" Hael replied still having her smile on "one was to see how my beloved sons become great brothers, and great fathers to their family. The second would be to give you two a warning"
"a warning? Of what?" Natsu asked with a raised eyebrow
"centuries ago, during the age of Dragons; there was a force not of the light nor the darkness but beyond" Hael stated as her face turned serious "this unknown force is what plotted it all"
"plotted it all? What you mean, Mother?" Zeref asked
"does this warning have something to do with that impostor pope in Brunnhilde Kingdom? And your banishment?" Natsu asked as Hael nodded
"this unknown force plotted to create a devastating war between all living beings of all races. To achieved victory by blood slaughter" Hael explained "the Dragon Civil War, my banishment, every single catastrophe that had laid waste upon Ishgar and the world, were of their doing"
"who are they?" Zeref asked as Hael shook her head
"I do not know but Igneel knew of them" Hael replied
"dad did?" Natsu said as Hael nodded in reply
"Zeref, Natsu. This unknown force is still out there somewhere, lurking in the light and darkness. They are planning to create the end" Hael stated "the end of all life upon this very world"
"what do you need us to do?" Natsu asked
"we will stop them in avenging you, Mother" Zeref added in
"no, you must not act upon vengeance, Zeref" Hael stated "that is the same thing that caused your father to receive his demise in the end"
"then why not?" Natsu asked "if this unknown enemy did such evil act upon the world and caused your banishment in the first place. Why should we not destroy them to avenge you?"
"because, if it did not happened. Would I have met any of your fathers and give birth to the two of you?" Hael asked as Natsu and Zeref looks at her then to each other "where there is order, there must always be chaos. Two of them are on the same coin. Heads and tail. You must remember that eliminating any of the two, the world would never be the same"
"then? What do you need us to do?" Zeref asked
"you must find this unknown force and put an end to their plot before they could lay waste upon the world" Hael stated before her body started to turn transparent
"mom, what's wrong?" Natsu asked seeing her body no longer solid
"my soul is fading away.." Hael said as she looks at her transparent hands "my time in this world is running thin by the second"
"but we still have questions!" Zeref stated
"all their answers will reveal themselves to you in time" Hael said as she was slowly disappearing "right now, you must work together in stopping the unknown force before it's too late"
Natsu and Zeref looks at each other then to their mother before they nodded with face of determination
"thank you, you two. I'm so proud to be your mother" Hael said as she gives her sons a loving smile
Hael slowly approached the two and pulls them into a hug which they returned
"we love you, mom" Natsu said hugging Hael with Zeref
"very much" Zeref added in
"I know, I love both of you with all my heart" Hael said as she started to fade away
"mom, can you please tell dad.." Natsu said before Hael pecks his forehead and then Zeref's
"I know. Your father is very proud to call you his son" Hael told Natsu before looking to Zeref "your father too, Zeref"
Zeref smiled in return before Hael disappears into sparkles
Natsu and Zeref stood in their place as they watched the sparkles that floats away
"save the world….this is the path that faith had set upon for the both of you" Hael's voice whispered out as it was her last words to her sons before leaving to the next world
"if we are to save this world from this unknown foe…" Zeref said before he looks to Natsu who looks back at him "…we need to work together and gather our forces together"
"but you said that you were no longer the Demon King" Natsu said
"I said so, but it is to put an end to the enemy who brought so much pain to our mother" Zeref said as his eyes glowed black and the Demon Man was now cladded in a black suit of armor, looking similar to Natsu but more demonic. Zeref also had a black demonic sword strapped to his waist as it let out a black demonic aura. Zeref's eyes glowed black red in behind his visor as it gave a very demonic demeanour to others "then I will discard my own promise to protect my family from this enemy"
"funny" Natsu said as his faceplate slides closed and his eyes glowed crimson behind his visor "I had the same thoughts as well"
