On with the story
A few hours later within Dragnof
Time passed after Natsu and Zeref's encounter and battle against Efam. Everyone returned to Dragnof and things are a bit tense within the Castle's Council room
Warta and the other Councilmen had bead of sweat sliding down their cheeks as they were in a meeting with Natsu and their guest, Zeref who had revealed his face to them all. Only to them anyway
"not many know this but Zeref here is my half brother" Natsu stated, revealing the blood link between the two "believe me when I state that I had believed to have struck him down with my sword"
Natsu looks at Zeref and his older half brother nodded before revealing a large scar on his chest which was the wound of Natsu's sword impaling him, years back
"but our mother who is a Valkyrie had passed down her blessings of life to us" Natsu said "the blessing saved us from near death and that is how we came to be of where we are"
Natsu then started to explain of the recent events that had conspired, from the moment Natsu encounter his brother in the hidden oasis world to the point of their battle against Efam which was nearly one sided
"a force….unknown to the world?" Makarov stated, hearing how the enemy that had caused the conflicts of the world
"this is a really dark matter of such" Warta added in "this unknown force orchestrated so much conflict in our world as if it were some sort of game? How utterly despicable"
"and this Efam is a member of this unknown force who has the power to overcome our king and the former demon king as well?" Oba Baba stated as Natsu and Zeref were the two of the most powerful beings in Ishgar and even in the world but Efram managed to outmatch on their first battle that was turned against himself "do we even stand a chance if we come face to face with this enemy?"
"we can" Natsu stated as his councilmen turns to look at him "not alone but together as one"
"what do you mean?" Bob asked
"Dragnof or any other kingdom is powerful united. This unknown enemy force won't stand a chance if we are all united under one banner" Natsu stated as he explained of how he and his brother planned to unite all kingdom in Ishgar as one
"that is a magnificent plan, my king. But…" Makarov trailed off
"uniting all the kingdom?" Oldmine added in "I think some kingdom might join but the others? I don't think that they will be on the same page as us"
"and not to mention on how the Demon Kingdom might respond to this plan of ours" Bob stated as the Demon Kingdom's citizens would utterly despise Natsu who had killed Zeref once before "this might not be a great plan"
"uniting clans into a kingdom is one thing" Oba Baba stated "but uniting many kingdoms into one is no easy task unless you decide on conquering it all"
"let me deal with my kingdom" Zeref stated as he looks at Natsu "I know some high positions members of my kingdom who will support my idea and plan…but as for the ones who would protest..i'll think of it later"
"that isn't a plan" Natsu told his brother as the two started conversing on their own while Makarov and the others look at them then at each other before shrugging
A few hours later, the day had turned to night as the moon had risen to the sky in full form
Natsu was in the hallway of his castle, sitting by an open window and looking at the moon
"3 hours of discussion that leads to nowhere" Natsu said as the meeting ended with no conclusion of how they would unite all kingdom into one banner "but I guess they're right…I made an enemy of the Demon Kingdom, the Elves from the Titania Forest, and then the other beastmen hating kingdoms…so much more hate me for what I did and what I am"
Natsu rubs his chin as the plan to face against Efam and the unknown forces was not something easy to be planned and acted
He looks at the moon and sees how it illuminates it light to his kingdom
"and fighting against him; it took everything I and Zeref had just to deal a blow on him" Natsu muttered out, remembering how overpowering Efam was in their battle before the foe disappeared
Natsu then remembered how his father's armor was nearly destroyed with the addition of his broad sword and magic gun. Only his father's sword that remained intact and nothing else
"am I'm weakening?" Natsu thought out loud "no… I've just reached the limit of my current strength….."
Natsu started walking away as he headed down the hallway
"I have to find a way" Natsu said "I have to find the way for me to break my limit and defeat them all….but how?"
"please….help" a voice spoke inside Natsu's head as the man's eyes widen a bit to hear it
"that voice…" Natsu muttered out as it was the same voice that he hears before going to the Black Forest of Sardonia "….it's still asking for help…but I thought"
"please…anyone….please…it hurts…" the voice echoed in his mind as it sounded feminine and was in pain "it hurts….please.."
Natsu looks around before he squinted his eyes and went off
The Dragon King was now in his armory room where he looks at the remains of his father's armor that was shattered into pieces
"I can't use it in its condition" Natsu said as his armor was still decommissioned from his battle against Efam and so was his broad sword and magic gun
Natsu looks at his mother's Valkyrie armor as it was the only remaining set of armor in his possession
"mom's armor is strong and all" Natsu said while imagining himself wearing his mother's female armor on him "wearing it can be kinda strange…."
Natsu scratches his head before he sighs and reluctantly decided to wear his mother's armor
The Dragon King opens the glass case containing his mother's armor and grabs the helmet piece
He looks at it before putting it on his head as it fitted him
"a fit, huh?" Natsu said before he started to grab the other pieces and equip them on himself
It took a few minutes, but Natsu now wore his mother's armor and just like he had suspected it look a bit strange on him
"was mom fit as me?" Natsu thought out loud as it was very weird on how the armor fitted his body stature very well
Natsu then grabs hold of his mother's scythe and his father's sword and when he holds both at the same time, the two heirloom weapon glowed red and black in unison
"what?" Natsu looks at the two weapons before to his mother's armor as it was glowing white
The form of the armor started to change as it now in the form of a male fitted armor for him
Natsu blinked his eyes twice to see the armor's sudden transformation as he was surprised by it. the Dragon King soon smiled as he sighs and chuckled a bit
"thanks, mom" Natsu said as he placed away from the two weapons and went out
