On with the story
The next few days passed and came as the skies was clear of clouds and the sun's warm rays shines down upon the world
Natsu was flying in the vast sky in his mother's transformed armor as he was heading to Ishgar again
"to the Black Forest of Sardonia again?" Zeref's voice spoke out as Natsu glance behind him and sees his half brother flying behind him by using the black demon wings on his back "was there something that we missed there?"
"more like what I missed" Natsu replied before focusing his attention frontwards "that voice is still calling for help. And it's in pain"
"whose voice is it?" Zeref asked as he flied close to Natsu
"I don't know who" Natsu replied as he sees Ishgar coming into view "but what I do know is that whoever it is, I'm going to help them"
The two flies faster as they zoom pass the land and heads to the Black Forest of Sardonia
Meanwhile at Dragnof's sea borders
A single Dragnof ship was docked in the seawaters near Dragnof as Lucy and the other mates were on board while in the sea were Kaithen, and Levia. Both Sea Dragons swim around the sea while Ignisia, Kalard, Noir, and Eis were flying around in the sky chasing after each other in a game of tag. While Touro was just floating around in the water, seeming that he was just relaxing with Energia and Marsha on his back, they just relax under the sunlight
"today has such a nice breeze~" Cana said, her hair flowing around from the sea's breeze. "with some booze on board, it'll be more great~!"
"do all Ogres always like to drink?" Sorano asked Lucy while having Tanit riding on her head
"I-i think so.." Lucy replied with an awkward smile "but she's an Oni actually"
They were out of Dragnof for the day as they and their children were brought out to have fun for the day as it was promised by Natsu that they were allowed to go in and out of Dragnof but only within the borders of the mist wall, therefore they have more room for fun
Callista squeaks a few times as the little Dragon was trying to jump off the ship to join his siblings but Hisui didn't let him by holding him tight
"don't jump, Callista" Hisui told her child as the little hatchling was rearing to join in on the fun
Callista merely squeaks as he tried squirming out of his mother's hold on him
"looks like he's energetic" Erza said seeing how Callista was just so full of energy and wanted so much fun
"but he's still little and the sea is very deep" Hisui said as her child was just in for the fun with the addition of the hatchling still haven't learned how to swim or float like Energia and Marsha which could lead to drowning
"let me help with that" Kagura said as she takes Callista in her arms before looking to the sea "Levia! Kaithen!"
Hearing their mother's call, Kaithen and Levia swims to the ship with their upper body up the water
"play along with Callista" Kagura told her two kids as she got Callista to ride on Levia's head "but remember to be careful, your little brother is still little"
"Okay~" Levia and Kaithen replied in unison to their mother
"Tanit too" Sorano said as she carried Tanit off her head before getting her on Levia's head in accompanying Callista "you want to play too, right?"
Tanit squeaks and flaps her wings in reply to her mother's question before she rubs her head against Callista's, the Century Dragon smiles in loving his big sister's affection as this got Sorano to smile as well
"what about Kageya, Ikaruga?" Kagura asked Ikaruga who was sitting by a shaded seat with Kamika, both being quiet throughout the day as they relaxed
Ikaruga didn't speak as she did a hush motion in reply, her child was sleeping while coiled around her mother's neck, but didn't constrict her
"I guess not" Kagura said before both Kaithen and Levia went back playing but at a safe pace for their smaller younger siblings
"it's a shame that Éclair have to miss out" Cana said as Éclair was the only one of the mates who didn't come with
"she has her eggs to watch over" Ultear stated while holding her umbrella that rains down snow for her "one of them is going to hatch soon, right?"
"just shaking" Lucy added in "it doesn't mean that it will hatch"
"I see" Ultear said while twirling her umbrella a bit
Dimaria was in the middle of watching the sea on the other side of the ship while having a small smile
"you seem to be fond on seeing the sea" Erza stated while standing behind Dimaria
"in a way" Dimaria replied as she watched the sea waves swaying against each other "Hael-san…or should I say Natsu's Mother liked watching the sea by a cliff. I sometimes accompany her and watch the sea together"
"sound like you respect her very much, huh?" Erza said as Dimaria nodded
Everyone did what they wanted for the day as they were enjoying the small freedom in Dragnof's sea for the day but that was until a large black foreign ship came sailing in from the mist and broke it all
"a ship?" Kagura sees the ship as it had a symbol on its mast that not one of them is familiar with
"which kingdom is that ship from?" Sorano asked curious
"matters of the ship aside, I thought no ship could get in the mist without the help of Hyrus" Kagura stated as the mist wall was very thick and could cause any ship to go stranded
The ship sailed in the sea borders within the mist wall while under the constant eyes of everyone
"am I drunk? Cause I don't see anyone on that ship" Cana said as she squinted her eyes to see the crew on the sailing ship
"you're not" Lucy said as she was looking at the sailing ship with a pair of binoculars. She watched the ship and saw that it had no one on board "there's nobody on board"
"there's the possibility of the crew hiding within the lower decks of the ship" Dimaria stated, knowing of some military tactics to fool enemies as a ship with no crew on sight is one of them "how did they ship even get in from the fog wall?"
"pushing that matter aside, we have to call back Ignisia and the others" Erza said as any possible danger could come from the sailing ship "we don't have any clue on what kingdom that ship is from nor their intention"
Everyone nodded as they started calling their kids to come back and they heard them
Levia and the others started to head towards the Dragnof ship when suddenly the unknown ship suddenly changed course and followed them
"it's following them?" Cana said confused "why?"
Dimaria looks at the ship as it was getting close to the Dragon Children and a bad feeling was growing inside of her
"this bad feeling….it feels just like the time when Hael-san was banished and chased…." Dimaria looks at the ship before she saw cannons coming out of the ship's front hull which made her eyes widen
"get away! Hurry! Get away!" Dimaria shouted out as the other mates look at her because of her outburst "all of you! Get away from that ship! Hurry!"
BANG! BANG!
All the sudden, the sound of cannon fire rang out from the ship as it had fired golden chains with hooks at the very tips of them
The chains flied towards Levia as they wrap around her body and constrict her tight then pulls her down to the ocean, causing Callista and Tanit who were on her head to fall into the water
"Levia!" "Tanit!" "Callista!" Sorano, Hisui and Kagura shouted out as the ship fired its cannons again and chains flied, now wrapping around Ignisia who was in the air and now in the ocean water
"Ignisia!" Erza shouted out as the ship was attacking their children
Levia and Ignisia roared as the golden chains wrapped around them tight before the chains started to pull them towards the ship
"Noir! Everyone! Help Levia and Ignisia! And save Callista and Tanit!" Kamika exclaimed as Noir and the other Dragon Children went to the ship and on the attack
Kalard, and Noir roared before the two fired their roar attacks at the ship, intending to destroy it and whoever was onboard, but a magic barrier appeared and deflected their attack
"a magic barrier!?" Lucy exclaimed as she could not believe that there was a magic barrier powerful enough to withstand against the attack of one Dragon, let alone two Dragons, even if they were still young; the power that all Dragon Children was immense
Tanit and Callista squeaks repeatedly while flapping their wings as the two haven't learned how to swim nor float but they were saved by their elder brother Touro who picked them up on his head before he swam towards the ship to get them to safety with Energia and Marsha as well
Kaithen jumped out of the water as the Storm Dragon opens his jaws and bites down on the golden chained that had wrapped around Levia while Kalard did the same to the chains wrapped around Ignisia
Both tried their best to break the chain but wasn't able to do so and in result their fangs cracked causing them to roar in pain
"they couldn't break the golden chains!?" Ultear exclaimed in shock to know that there was something that could not be break by the powerful jaws of a dragon
"could it be that the ones on that ship…" Lucy trailed off as her face was filled with fear "…are after Touro and the others!?"
Everyone who hears her statement looks in pure terror because if the mysterious intruder has the golden chains that couldn't be break by Kaithen and the others. That would mean that they knew how to subdue a Dragon or worse…they know how to slay one.
Kagura immediately jumps into the water and swims towards the ship as she planned to save her daughter
"Kagura!" Erza exclaimed out before she sees Kamika jumping off the ship and runs on top of the ocean water, joining Kagura "Kamika!"
"sound the alarm!" Dimaria shouted to the captain of the ship "get all of them out on alert! Now!"
"y-yes!" the captain replied as he grabs a horn and blows on it hard, the sound rang out so loudly that Dragnof's sea gates instantly opened
The seawater by the gates rises as Hyrus came out and roared, the Baltic Hydra swims down and heads towards the enemy ship with the following of some Dragnof's ships that came out with it. in addition, Grandeeney and Atlas Flame flied out of Dragnof and to the scene
"Valkyries!" Dimaria shouted out as her shout echoed and instantly called out the Valkyries and Angels from Brunnhilde Kingdom
As if in response to the alert sound, more large black enemy ships came in from the mist wall
"there were more!?" Erza exclaimed in seeing the many black ships that appeared as there were 20 in total
Cannon fire rang out as the enemy ship fired magic blast at Dragnof's ships, hitting some in its action. Dragnof's ships soon retaliate as they replied with their cannons firing cannonballs and magic blast
The Valkyries and the angels engaged in the action as they fired arrows of light down at the enemy ships, but they had magic barriers that deflected their attacks
Grandeeney and Atlas Flame roared in unison before both Dragons fired out their breath attacks that was deflected by the magic barrier, just like the rest
"a barrier!?" Atlas Flame stated before some of the enemy ships fired their cannons at the two Elder Dragons who dodged the flying magic blasts and cannonballs
Both Elder Dragons soon went flying down and tried closed range blast attacks instead
Hyrus swam at highspeed towards the enemy ship as the Baltic Hydra rises out of the water and roared, only to be rammed to the side by another Baltic Hydra that had large metal collars on all its head
"a-another Baltic Hydra!" Sorano exclaimed seeing the other Baltic Hydra that had attacked Hyrus as both were now in a battle in the water that caused waves of sea water to splash out everywhere
Loud cannon fire soon rang out as golden chains flied and wrapped around Eis, and Noir; the two instantly roaring while trying to get the golden chain off
"Eis!" Ultear screamed out as the mysterious enemy were capturing their children one by one
Touro managed to swim back to the ship as one of the crew members drop off a rope before going down and carried Tanit, Callista, with Energia and Marsha; both the Brutal and Hammer Dragon reverting to their child form
"Tanit!" "Callista!" Sorano and Hisui exclaimed as the crew member got back on the ship with them before passing them back to their mother who hugs them in tears. Energia and Marsha went back to Cana who hugs them while sighing in pure relief that they were safe
Touro growls before the Bull Dragon swims back to help his siblings
"Touro! Come back!" Lucy exclaimed as she didn't want the mysterious enemy to catch her son, let alone do anything bad to him "Touro!"
"I can't stand this anymore!" Erza exclaimed as she went near a soldier and takes his sheathed sword
"Erza-sama! What are you!?" the captain of the ship exclaimed as Erza soon jumps off the ship and into the ocean water before starting to swim into the midst of the battle
"Erza! Stop!" Lucy screamed out as Erza grabs onto Touro's tail and climbed onto his back
"Ultear-dono" Ikaruga called out to the Ice Queen as she passes Kageya to Hisui before she reached her hand into the black smoke near her and takes out her long-sheathed katana
Ultear nodded in knowing what Ikaruga had in mind as she holds out her hand and her Ice staff appeared
The Ice Queen swings her staff to the front and fires a light blue colored beam that hits the ocean water and freezes it, creating an ice path which Ikaruga use to run on to the battlefield scene while Ultear just flies with the power of her ice staff
"get us back to Dragnof now!" Dimaria exclaimed to the captain who nodded before ordering out to raise the anchor and open the sails
"what are you saying!? We can't just leave!" Cana shouted at the Valkyrie as their family was in the battle
"and risk getting any of them captured and hurt!?" Dimaria retorted back as Energia, Marsha, Tanit, Callista, and Kageya were with them and that could mean a possibility of the enemy coming after them as much as at the moment are trying to capture their older siblings "this is war! This is battle!"
Cannon fire rang out as cannonballs flied and a few nearly hit the ship, Dimaria and the others were on, in affect causing it to sway around in the water
Dimaria and the others hold their place on the ship as it shakes
"get us back now! We have to get them to safety!" Dimaria shouted out as the captain nodded before spinning the helm to the left side, immediately causing the ship to sail to the left side
The enemy ships constantly fire their attacks on the retreating ship, but it was out of range and all their attacks missed
"fire back! Keep on firing back!" Makarov shouted out as he was on board on one of the many Dragnof ships
Upon his command, the Dragnof' ships started firing their attacks at the enemy ship while one ship that had the Thunder Stars on board were sailing to the one ship that had caught Levia and the others in order to rescue them
It was like an all-out war that was going to end with one side in bloodshed
