On with the story
A few moments earlier before the enemy attack on Dragnof
At the Black Forest of Sardonia, Natsu and Zeref were walking around what remains of the forest as the place was nearly annihilated from their battle against Efam
"I don't think that there could be anyone here" Zeref said as he looks around and tried hearing the voice that was asking for help
Natsu looks around before got down on one knee and rubs his hand on the dead burned soil
"what if…" Natsu said as his eyes glowed red and he could now see what appears to be tree roots within the ground "I can see it"
"see what?" Zeref asked, hearing his brother's statement
"I can see tree roots" Natsu stated as he looks through the ground and at the tree roots where he could see that it was alive "there's someone living within the ground"
"do you mean underground?" Zeref asked as Natsu stands up and nodded before looking back at the roots and see how it expands around to many area
"if I follow its spreading…" Natsu said as he followed to the main core of the roots spread and he found it instantly "…I should be able to find the root of it all"
Natsu went to a spot as he draws out his sword and stabbed it through the ground
The land shakes and rumbles before it breaks apart and shatters
Zeref watched the land shatters to pieces and tree roots sprang out everywhere before everything stopped
Natsu pulls out his sword before he bent down and grab a tree root, instantly feeling the life energy coming from it
"..help….please…" the voice spoke out in Natsu's mind but this time it was coming from the tree roots
"I found her" Natsu said before he yanked the tree roots and instantly pulled out what it rooted too
"this is.." Zeref said as he sees Natsu pulling out what appears to be a cage made out tree roots and within the cage was a sleeping young pink haired woman whose limbs seems to be green and her body was covered in flowers and leaves "….a Dryad. But here?"
"I don't know on why she is here or how she is even here" Natsu said as he dropped the tree roots and went near the cage, getting a closer look at the Dryad girl "but I think that bastard wanted something to do with her"
"that Efam?" Zeref said as Natsu nodded while inspecting the Dryad Girl
Natsu watched the sleeping Dryad before his ears twitched a few times and he instantly snap his face to the southwest direction with his eyes widen and glowing red in rage
"what's wrong?" Zeref asked seeing his little half brother's action
"my children…my kingdom…they're under attack!" Natsu exclaimed surprising Zeref
"what? How can you tell?" Zeref stated before a powerful gust blows out from Natsu whose black wings spread out
"get the Dryad girl back to anywhere that is safe!" Natsu exclaimed as he grips the handle of his sword tight "I'm going back to my kingdom first!"
Natsu instantly jumps up and bolted his way to the direction of Dragnof
Zeref stood in his place as he watched how fast his little half brother flied away
upon Dragnof; it was like a small scale warfare where the enemy was trying to capture the Dragon Children
At the moment at hand; Levia, Kaithen, Ignisia, Eis, and Noir were captured by the enemy ship as it was pinning them down in the ocean water with the golden chains that had wrapped around them tight
Kagura, Kamika, Erza, Ikaruga, and Ultear joined on the battlefield as they went to rescue the children with the Thunder Stars but the enemy's golden chains were preventing anything to break them
"it hurts! It hurts! It hurts!" Levia roars out in pain as the Sea Dragon struggles around her long body, creating giant splashes of water everywhere
"Levia! Calm down! I'm here!" Kagura exclaimed as she got on Levia's body and started to do anything she can to get the chains off her child "I won't let them do anything bad to you! I promise!"
Erza got on Ignisia as the Blaze Dragon roars in pain just like her elder sister.
"why this!" Erza shouted as she had been using her sword to break the golden chain but every swing of it on the chains gives no result "what is this thing made of!?"
Erza swings the sword one more time, only for it to break into pieces upon contact with the golden chains
"what!?" Erza looks in shock to see the sword breaking into two from the clash with the chains
"Noir! Can you go back into the shadows?!" Kamika told her child while riding on his back as Noir roared in reply
the Darkness Dragon glowed black and was going into the shadow but the golden chains glowed in an instant. Noir's body stopped glowing as it failed in going into the shadows because of the chains that was somehow preventing him from doing so
"this chain is preventing them from using their powers!?" Kamika stated before she takes out several paper talismans that has magic inscriptions around it and place them all around the chains before doing several gestures with her hands "Explode!"
The talismans shine before exploding upon to the Kunoichi Command, but the result wasn't in her favour
"impossible!" Kamika stated as her explosive talismans didn't break nor even leave a scratch on the golden chains
Ultear and Ikaruga tried saving the children by attacking the ship but the magic barrier deflected their attacks
"none of our attacks are giving any results!" Ultear stated as she fired multiple ice beams at the ship, but the barrier deflected them all
Ikaruga tried unleashing air slashes to cut the ship but the barrier blocked her attempt
"not even non magical attacks can give any result!" Ikaruga said with a tense look; the ship's magic barrier deflected all their attacks and still planning to capture the rest of the Dragon Children
The ship's cannons started moving as they aimed at Erza and the others
"everyone! Get away!" Ultear shouted as the cannon instantly fired at them
Erza and the others dodged the flying magic blasts and cannonballs but, in their attempts to dodge the attack. The ship's cannon fired again, this time firing the golden chains at Touro who dodged but in result, the chains made cut on his right eye and cuts off a part of his right horn
"Touro!" Erza and the others exclaimed as Touro was roaring in pain
"we have to find a way to break these chains!" Erza exclaimed as their children were in danger of being captured by the enemy forces
"but nothing we do can break them!" Kamika stated as not any of their magic nor non magic tools can break the golden chain
"we just have to use everything we have to do so!" Ultear exclaimed as she spins her staff around before a blast of ice fired at the ship, colliding against its barrier
"agreed!" Ikaruga stated as she went into a drawing stance on a floating ice before swinging her sword out, unleashing several air pressured slashes at the ship repeatedly
Levia and the Dragon Children started roaring as they were crying in pain from the golden chains
Before long in the sky, a red dot shines bright as it was Natsu who was coming in like a flaming comet
"Raaaahhh!" Natsu roared out as he flies in fast before he sends a flaming diving kick straight at the ship that had fired the chains on his kids
The Dragon King's attack instantly clashed against the ship's magic barrier as flaming sparks flied everywhere
"Natsu!" Erza and the others exclaimed in surprise to see their husband and his attack as Natsu keeps on roaring out before his attack instantly breaks the barrier and destroys it along with the ship
The ship exploded before Natsu flies out and sees that the chains around his children were broken and they were safe with their mothers
Natsu nodded before he faces the direction of where the other enemy ships are at
"go back to the kingdom with your mothers" Natsu told his children before he did a hand gesture above his head and all the Dragnof ships started to go sail back
"My King" Atlas Flame called out to Natsu as he and Grandeeney were flying above the Dragon King
"go, I'll deal with them personally" Natsu said as Grandeeney and Atlas Flame nodded before the two Elder Dragons flied back to Dragnof
Everyone started to go back to Dragnof with the exception of Natsu and Hyrus who was in a superiority battle against the other Baltic Hydra
Natsu watches the enemy ships multiply as more of them started to come sailing in from the fog wall. He growls angrily before he wielded his scythe and sword in hand
"all of you who dare harm my kingdom…my mates….my children…my family" Natsu said before he burst into flames and a flaming Dragon appeared behind him. The Dragon King's eyes glowed crimson red as well as the golden Dragon Sword "shall pay!"
