On with the story

Natsu faces against the enemy battleships as they all face towards him

"I'll show you all hell!" Natsu shouted out as he flies up to the sky while holding his scythe with both hands before swinging it down

A black energy slash flied out as it went through a ship and sliced it in half before causing it to explode

Natsu swoops down as he swings his scythe at another ship, but a barrier appeared and was clashing against his attack

"Raaah!" Natsu roared out as he pushes his scythe through before cutting a tear on the barrier. He draws out his golden dragon sword as the blade glows crimson red "burn!"

Natsu thrusts the sword towards the tear in the barrier as his sword fires an incinerating crimson flames upon the ship, burning it before causing it to explode

The other ships started firing their cannons at Dragnof's retreating ships as Natsu saw this

The Dragon king swings his hand up as a large crimson wall of fire emerges out of the sea water, burning away the magic blasts and cannonballs that were flying in the air, heading towards Dragnof

Natsu let out a loud battle cry before he flies up and then came diving down like a bomb towards a ship, crashing into its hull before incinerating everything into flames. He soon flies away as the ship exploded

He faces the other ships as they were all charging up their magic cannons and all of them were aimed at Natsu

"I'll destroy them all!" Natsu roared out as his eyes glowed red before he threw away his weapons and swings both of his hands in front, then to the side. A flaming sphere started to charge up in between his palms as it was spinning and raging in flames before starting to get larger and larger by the second

Within Dragnof, All the ships were docked to the port as soldiers were helping the injured crew who were hit with the enemy's attacks.

The Dragon Children were with their mothers as those who were hit by the golden chains were crying in their child form.

"Grandeeney-san! Please!" Kagura called out to the Sky Dragon while holding Kaithen and Levia who had bleeding cuts on their neck, waist, and arms. The two Sea Dragons were crying just as hard as their younger siblings from their wounds, this was the first time any of them ever got bleeding wounds before and the children didn't like the deep and sharp pain sensation

"please a moment," Grandeeney said as she was in the middle of healing the bleeding cut wounds on Noir who was crying while clinging to Kamika who holds him close.

Ignisia was crying as the child was blazing in flames because of a bloody wound around her neck and hands. Erza and some medic tried to go near but the flames that were raging upon the child were just too hot.

"Ignisia! Please calm down!" Erza called out to her child as she was trying to prevent her from burning the infected wounds that could cause some disease to grow in her.

A snowing blizzard came raining upon Ignisia as the snow died down the flame.

Erza looks to the side as she sees Ultear holding her staff in hand while carrying Eis who is clinging and crying to her while a medic was applying first aid to a bloody cut on the Blizzard Dragon's legs

"hurry before she ignites in flames again!" Ultear told Erza as the Dullahan nodded before she went, and grabs hold of Ignisia gently yet tightly. The medic going close and started applying some ointments and bandages on the child's bloody neck

"Kalard!" Éclair called out as the Phoenix flies in with Éna and Neel flying behind her. She was in the middle of taking care of her eggs before she was called out by a soldier who explained that her child was hurt and is crying for her.

Éclair gasps as she finds Kalard crying in pure pain from a bloody gash on his back. some medics tried to hold him down so that they could help him, but the child was too strong for them.

The Phoenix woman immediately went to her child as she holds Kalard who clings so hard to Éclair, the blood on his back pouring down his back as this made Éclair in pure sadness and anger. Éna and Neel went to cling behind their mother as they watched with a sad frown to see their sibling crying in pain.

Touro was crying even harder as he got a bloody cut over his right eye and a piece of his right horn was gone. Lucy was holding him as she too was crying in tears to see her own child harmed.

"Lucy, let me have a look at him!" Cana exclaimed as she carried a medical kit box in hand and kneels near the two before opening it to take out some ointments and bandages "We have to get the wound on his eye disinfected or he might lose it!"

Lucy nodded as she gently holds Touro so that Cana can see the wound and treat it, but the child was crying hard while clinging to her

"please….stop crying" Lucy told her son as she holds him close while his cries rang out loudly

Cana started to wipe away the blood on Touro with a alcohol dipped cotton bud but the child cried louder from the searing pain of having alcohol touching his open wound and this caused scales to appear all over his hands and neck, the feeling of pain causing a middle transformation change

"scary" Energia and Marsha muttered out while tearing up as they were tearing up from seeing and hearing their elder siblings' cries. Before long Gildarts came and carried them away towards Sorano and the others who were standing in the side lines with their unharmed children

"you two just stay with Sorano and the others, alright? Don't stand in the middle of it" Gildarts told his two grandkids before he looks to the side and runs to help some soldiers carrying away several wounded crew members "remember! Stay there!"

Marsha clings to her brother while tearing up as she didn't like seeing anyone getting hurt. Energia just stood in his place with his sister clinging onto him, the Brutal Dragon Child having a stoic but tearing up face to see the scene

Callista whimpers sadly as he sees the tears pouring down Eis' eyes, the Blizzard Dragon was crying loudly because of how his wounds were being bandaged up. Hisui holds her child close as she caresses his head.

"this is just too horrible" Sorano said frowning while holding Tanit in her wings. So many injured in one day, as such a scene reminds her of the days, she was a slave.

Ikaruga and Dimaria were helping the injured men as they called in help from the Hundred Demon Parades and the Brunnhilde angels who were expert healers

"call in more!" Dimaria shouted out as she ordered a few angels to fly back to Brunnhilde Kingdom to get more medical care for the wounded

"this will temporarily subdue your pain" Ikaruga said as she sucks her kiseru before blowing out green colored smoke at a few injured men's bloody wound

It was as if chaos rain down upon the kingdom's people, everyone was rushing everywhere to help the wounded, cries from the Dragon Children keeps ringing out, and explosions that rang out outside the gates. It was as if hell wanted to make a noise

A pillar of flames erupted to the sky as it came from outside the kingdom's gate, and it cause everything to shake, including the kingdom itself

Everyone had scream in a little panic as the kingdom is a floating kingdom which means that the explosion causes the island to shake from the waves outside

A few minutes later, the sea gates opened, and a single enemy ship sailed through it

"an enemy ship!?" Freed exclaimed seeing the ship

"evacuate the injured away!" Evergreen shouted out as soldiers started to carry away the injured away while some prepared to attack.

"did the king fail to destroy this one!?" Bickslow exclaimed as his magic totem floats around him

"stop jabbering and get ready!" Laxus exclaimed as his body was jolting with electricity

Every single one of them prepared to attack before they see the ship suddenly exploding from within as flames rages everywhere

"flames?" Gajeel said seeing the exploding ship before he saw a shadow coming out of the ship and it was Natsu who was covered in blood "King!"

Natsu huffs his breathing before he spits out blood from his mouth and wipes it away

He jumps off the burning ship as it sinks down to the waters and disappears

"my king!" Warta exclaimed as he and the councilmen went to Natsu who landed near the docks "are you alright?! There is a lot of Blood on you!"

"it's not my blood" Natsu said wiping away some blood on his face "it's just from the enemies"

Natsu turns around as Hyrus arises out of the water with some bloody scars around its body and heads, probably from fighting against the enemy Baltic Hydra that resulted in its win

"get some medic to bandage up Hyrus" Natsu said as one of Hyrus' 9 heads leans down to get a pat on the snout by him "I would've gotten a cannon ball through my stomach if he hadn't spewed out acid at their cannons in time"

"yes!" Warta replied before going off to do the order

"my mates and kids?" Natsu said, wanting to check on the condition of his children

"over there, my king" Makarov told Natsu as he pointed to a certain area by the docks where Kagura and the others were at with the kids who were still crying and clinging to their mother

"get everyone who was injured; healed and rested" Natsu told Makarov and the others as they nodded before the Dragon King went to his family

Kaithen and Levia whimpers and sniffles to their mother as Kagura holds them close while caressing their heads as their wounds were causing searing pain to strike their nervous system when they tried to move so she carried them with her tentacles.

"it's alright, don't cry anymore. Mama is here for you" Erza whispered to Ignisia who she gently holds and carried in her arms, the Blaze Dragon child was still crying softly because of her red bandaged neck

"just go to sleep, alright? Mama will hum you a lullaby, alright? You like a lullaby, right?" Éclair whispered to Kalard who had bandages wrapped around his body as the back was a bit bloodied. The Phoenix carried her child while caressing his head that was leaning against her shoulder "don't cry, ok?"

Natsu went to them as he got down on one knee beside Lucy who was holding Touro, the Bull Dragon fell asleep in his mother's arms while having bandages wrapped around his right eye.

He takes off his right armored gauntlet and gently caresses his 2nd son's head before placing a palm on it. A gentle and warm magic pulse emanated from his hand as it flows into Touro, healing the child of his wounds.

After making sure that the wounds on Touro was healed, Natsu went and did the same to the rest of his children.

Natsu carried Kalard from Éclair, the child started to cry as the wound on his back was slowly opening.

"shuuusshh, it's alright" Natsu whispered to his 3rd son as he placed a gentle palm on his back and emanated the healing pulse to seal the wound on him "it's alright, it's alright. I'm here now"

He uses all his powers to heal the wounds upon his children as he was making sure that every single one of them was healed perfectly.

Natsu carries Levia as the child had the most injuries out of the children.

Levia started crying again as her wounds were by far the worst and the deepest which mean that a single movement on her body made the wound inflict pain into her.

The Dragon King frowns to hear his first daughter's cries as he starts to heal her wounds while Kagura was caressing her child's head to calm her down.

A few minutes later, they were all healed perfectly as they all fell asleep in their mother's arms.

Natsu let out a long sigh as he used up nearly half of his power in a single day.

He took a seat on the ground as his face was a bit pale after using so much magic power.

"Natsu, are you alright?" Dimaria called out to the Dragon King while helping Cana stand up as the Oni woman had been helping the wounded for an hour straight.

Natsu waved a hand up, saying that he was fine before waving it down as he sighs tiredly. The Dragon King clapped his hands once as a soldier came running by his side.

"get my mates and my children to my castle, under guard and under care" Natsu ordered the soldier who saluted

"as you wish, king!" the soldier replied before running off to get a boat or a carriage for Lucy and the others

Natsu sighs again before he hears a squeak and looks up to see Tanit flying towards him but falls on the ground, rolling on it and then landing in front of him.

Tanit squeaks again as the Loving Dragon crawls to her father and rubs her head against his left hand

Natsu smiles as he petted his daughter's head before carrying her up while standing back on his feet.

"I need you all to stay in the castle for a week or so, I can't explain why but I need you all to listen to this one request of mine" Natsu told his mates who just nodded while carrying their children as it was a really terrifying experience for the mothers who had nearly lost their kids to the unknown enemy and hearing their cries of pain.

Natsu looks at them as he could tell just how much fear had gone into them. He turns to look at Dimaria, Cana, Hisui, and Ikaruga. The four were lucky to have their kids unharmed, except for Dimaria who hadn't given birth to her child yet.

"go with them. Everyone needs to be in the castle till I get there, alright?" Natsu said as Dimaria and the others nodded.

Three carriages came pulled in by horses as they arrived to take Lucy and the others away. Natsu watched as his mates with their children get on the carriages before each one was pulled away and headed to the castle.

"my king" a soldier came running towards Natsu who glanced at him

"what is it?" Natsu asked as the soldier pointed to a nearby house where Zeref was standing under a shade while wearing a mask on "I see, good work"

"yes!" the soldier replied saluting before going away

Natsu walks towards his brother who stayed silent till he was nearby

"how are your children?" Zeref asked about the welfare of his nieces and nephews

"their wounds are healed, they'll be fine" Natsu replied before letting out a long sigh and then shakes his head once before looking at Zeref "so? where's the Dryad girl?"

"in my home" Zeref replied as Natsu raised an eyebrow to him "you told me the safest place"

"I guess I did" Natsu said while rubbing a hand on his face before rubbing his chin "for now, let's try to find out why she was in the black forest of sardonia and why is she in that wooden cage too"

"you should rest for now" Zeref told his younger half brother while placing a hand to his blood covered armor shoulder "you've nearly used up all of your magic"

"I'll be fine" Natsu said pushing away Zeref's hand "right now, we have to focus on finding out who that Dryad girl is and what connection does she have with that bastard and his allies"

Natsu spreads his wings as he flaps them once before flying up, the blood covering him, came sliding off.

Zeref sighs as he spreads his own wings before flying up and then two brothers dashed towards Ishgar, heading to Zeref's home.
