On with the story
The next two days passed within Dragnof as the sun is shining its warms ray upon the kingdom, previously, the sea outside the mist wall was calm and peaceful but there are now Dragnof ships patrolling around the waters as the enemy attack from days ago left the kingdom on high alert.
Within the castle of Dragnof, Natsu is within his armory room as he looks down on a table that has the remains of his broken broad sword and magic gun, both were destroyed in his and Zeref's battle against Efam. Natsu picks up what remains of his magic gun as it only remained with its holder.
"maybe a Dwarf can help me fix it…..but these two are imbued with magic that is lost from time" said Natsu as he looks at his two broken weapons and see how much damage that they sustained.
Natsu took a seat and sat down as he rubs his forehead while having a thinking position. The Dragon King now had dangers from mysterious and unknown enemies that tried to attack his kingdom and capture his children, he must find a way to protect them all.
"I got to find a way to get stronger" said Natsu before grabbing his broken broad sword and magic gun, then heads outs.
At the bedroom, Touro was sitting on Lucy's lap as the Hakutaku Mother is in the middle of polishing his little horns.
"just hold still a bit more, ok?" said Lucy to her son as she is making sure that his horns are perfectly balanced seeing that he lost a part of his right horn from the previous attack on the kingdom.
Lucy used a filer as she rubs it on Touro's left horn, making it smaller just like his right one that was already grazed enough. Lucy did his horns for about 10 minutes before she finished as Touro's horns are perfectly equal size with one another. "there we go."
The Blonde Hakutaku lifted up Touro and turns him around on her lap, making him face her. She kisses his forehead before caressing his head. After the attack on the kingdom by the mysterious enemies, Touro now has a scar going over his right eye but he still has both his eyes thanks to his father who healed it.
"hungry, mother" said Touro as his stomach growls a bit.
"I can hear that" said Lucy with a smile while patting his head. "what do you say for a big salad bowl?"
"I want milk" said Touro as he leans close to Lucy's chest, clearly wanting his mother's breast milk.
"come on now, you're already 2 years old" said Lucy as the boy has grown up a lot during his time in the kingdom.
Touro puffs his cheeks and started pouting as this is one of the few tricks that the Dragon Children would use against their mother if they wanted something and it always worked. Lucy sighs seeing how her son pouts so adorably as this made her succumb to his wishes.
"alright, alright" said Lucy while starting to undress her top. "but this is the last time you can drink Mama's milk, alright?"
Touro nodded before Lucy pulled her top to the side to reveal her right breast and her child started sucking on her nipple to drink her mother's breast milk.
Lucy holds Touro close as she patted his back while he suckles on her breast milk, she hummed while breastfeeding before the door to the room was swung open from outside as Erza ran in while carrying her daughter Ignisia who is crying hard, Cana came in too as she with Energia followed in.
"what's wrong?" asked Lucy while holding Touro who continues to suckle on her breast milk.
"Ignisia is scared to go outside" said Cana as Erza went to her bed while carrying Ignisia whose wails and cries continued to ring out. The Scarlet haired Dullahan started comforting her child who continues to cry nonstop. "I think she got traumatized from that attack a few days ago."
"it's alright, Ignisia. No one is going to hurt you anymore. Your father made sure of it" said Erza while running her right hand up and down on Ignisia's back. "there's no need to be scared anymore."
Even with her mother's comfort, Ignisia continued to cry as she got scared so much when the ships attacked their home and tried to capture herself with her siblings. She clings on her mother's dress while her tears were making it wet.
"it's alright, i'm here and I won't let them hurt you anymore. Don't cry anymore, ok?" asked Erza softly but Ignisia continued to cry but at a lower voice. Erza pecks Ignisia's forehead before caressing her back gently as she holds her close.
"even Ignisia too" said Lucy while covering her chest with her clothes as Touro finished drinking all her milk and is stuffed. The day after the ship attacked; Ignisia, Levia, Kalard, and Eis were traumatized by the fear and pain that they experienced, they would cling to their mother and just cried when they got out of the castle where it is safe.
"Ultear and the others are having trouble calming their kids down" said Cana as she and Energia visited Kagura by the port where she holds Levia in her arms, the Sea Dragon Child now scared of even going into the water.
Everyone in the room soon heard an explosion outside the castle as they look towards a window and saw smoke coming from the downtown area.
Smoke flies out of a burning home as some citizens ran away from Kalard who is in his Dragon form; the Golden Dragon let out a loud roar before he swung his tail down on the burning home and destroyed it.
"Kalard! Stop this at once!" exclaimed Éclair to her son as Éna with Neel in their Phoenix were near her. "Kalard!"
Kalard just roared loudly before charging up flames in his jaws that let out a golden light and was growing large in his mouth. Just as Kalard was about to spew the flames in his mouth, Grandeeney came flying in and unleashes a huge gust of wind from her wing flaps that blew away all the smoke from the area while also making Kalard stop his action.
"cease this behavior at once, child" said Grandeeney while hovering above Kalard.
Kalard let out a whimpering growl before he transforms into his human form and ran to Éclair. The Phoenix mother carried Kalard in her arms as the child started whimpering to her. Soon, Gildarts, Gajeel, and Warta came running in to the scene.
"what has happened?" asked Warta seeing how some soldiers were running to the scene as they went to the destroyed house.
"an enemy attack?" asked Gajeel, thinking that someone infiltrating the kingdom.
"no" said Éclair to the three before looking at Kalard who clings to her while whimpering. "it was Kalard, he had a nightmare."
"a nightmare?" asked Gildarts before looking at the rubble of the destroyed house. "that doesn't explain on why he destroyed that house over there."
"it would seem that the child's experience with the previous attack on the kingdom has left him traumatized" said Grandeeney who gently lands on the streets.
"traumatized?" asked Éclair while patting Kalard's back a few times.
"your child was not ready to face such an experience that resulted in a trauma to form in his mind" said Grandeeney before slowly leaning down "the same could be said to some of our king's other children."
"is there a way to help them?" asked Éclair, worried that her son's trauma might affect his growth in the future.
"this such matter is something that I do not know how to handle" said Grandeeney before she leans up and looks to the side. "but I do know of a way to help them face their fears."
"there is?" asked Éclair to the Sky Dragon
Meanwhile, far away from Dragnof and within Ishgar.
Natsu flies within the large crevice as he went down and entered the cave where it would take him to his brother's home. He brought his broken broad sword and magic gun as he is planning to ask Zeref if he can or know of a way to fix them. The man didn't wear his armor as he just flies in with his dragon wings.
When Natsu arrived at his brother's home, he finds a large pure green tree that was not supposed to be in the underground oasis the last time he was in.
"what is that?" asked Natsu before he flies towards the direction of the large pure green tree.
Zeref with his family looks at the large pure green tree as they look at how tall and large it is before they turn to see Natsu landing down on the grass a few feet behind them.
"did one of you make this large tree?" asked Natsu as he looks at the large pure green tree before to his brother and his family.
"I wish it was Mavis who did" replied Zeref while Mavis looks at her husband while tilting her head in confusion. "but it's not either of us."
"then who?" asked Natsu to Zeref who pointed at the base of the large pure green tree where there is the sleeping Dryad girl, who is now rather not sleeping anymore.
The Dryad girl wore a dress made of large pink flower petals and she wore a tiara that seems to be made of vine roots. The Dryad is sitting on a large tree root that is covered with numerous amounts of flowers everywhere.
"what the?" said Natsu before looking back at Zeref. "did one of you managed to wake her up?"
"rather than we wake her up, she woke up herself yesterday" said Zeref before glancing at the Dryad girl who smiles in adoring the flowers around her. "I feel that she is no ordinary Dryad."
Natsu looks at Zeref before to the Dryad girl who has a green nature like aura around her.
At Dragnof within the Icians Kingdom, Ultear is at a bit of trouble with her son, Eis as the Blizzard Dragon is hiding under her ice throne while having a scared look.
"Eis…come on, it's alright. You're safe here" said Ultear in a gentle voice as she sat near her throne while trying to calm her son. Eis just shakes his head and just curls up in a ball shaped form, not wanting to leave his hiding spot.
Ultear frowns a bit as Eis has been hiding underneath her ice throne the day after the enemy ships attack.
"my queen" said Gray as he with Lyon brought Kamika, Hisui, and Sorano with the addition of Callista and Tanit as well. "we have brought them as you requested."
"thank you, Gray, Lyon" said Ultear to her two servants who bowed and then left the chamber.
"is he still scared like the others?" asked Kamika as the Kunoichi kneels near the ice throne and peeks underneath to see Eis curled up like a ball and doesn't want to come out.
"he won't come out to eat or to sleep, he just stays there scared." Said Ultear as she is worried that her son will be underneath her throne for all the time.
"have you tried pulling him out?" asked Hisui while letting Callista down on the floor before the little dragon flies to his big brother and squeaks to him.
"I tried with the help of Gray and Lyon, but when he gets out he cried and runs back underneath it" replied Ultear as her son is too scared.
"this is very bad" said Sorano with a frown before Tanit who was riding on her mother's head, squeaks a few times. Sorano looks at her daughter on her head before the small dragon flies down and landed beside Callista.
The two small dragons squeaked out to their brother who peeks at them. Tanit squeaks before she nudges to her elder brother's head and let out a purring growl.
Tanit's body started to glow pink as she rubs her head against Eis'. Callista did the same action as he rubs his head against Eis' head with his sister and his body started to glow green. The two small dragons continued rubbing their head against Eis while Tanit glows pink.
After a minute, the mothers saw Eis looking at his smaller siblings with a small smile before he slowly crawls out under the throne and to his mother who carried him up.
"what just happened?" asked Hisui as she and Sorano looks at Tanit and Callista who squeaks while looking back at their mothers.
"I think they glowed" said Sorano, not knowing what to say after what they just seen their children do.
Natsu and Zeref approached the Dryad girl who caresses a rose near her before glancing at the two.
"you…who are you?" asked Natsu to the Dryad girl while being a bit cautious of her because of not knowing what she can do.
"I ma osmocs, Dryad fo noather roldw" said the Dryad girl in a foreign language that Natsu and Zeref never heard of.
"do Dryads have their own specific language?" asked Natsu to Zeref who shakes his head in reply.
"I heard many languages, hers isn't one of them" said Zeref as the two glanced at the Dryad girl before back to each other. "from what I know, no present or past language is the same as the one that she just spoke out."
"od you aveh brolemp?" said the Dryad girl while looking at the two.
"I don't understand her one bit" said Natsu as he couldn't understand her language.
"me neither" added Zeref as the two were stuck with talking to a Dryad who doesn't speak their language.
The Dryad girl looks at the two before she smiles and stands up from the large tree roots before going to Natsu who looks at her a bit cautiously.
"meco rehe" said Cosmos while slowly reaching a hand to Natsu's face.
The Dragon King took a step back, thinking that she might do something dangerous, but she just placed a hand to his cheek before leaning up and takes his lips that made his eyes wide. Zeref looks surprised as well as Mavis who closed her children's eyes, not allowing them to see the scene. The Dryad girl kisses Natsu before leaning away and smiled.
"so you are the child of Igneel and Hael, huh?" said the Dryad girl in Natsu and Zeref's language as the two's eyes widen a bit. The Dryad girl looks at Zeref and looks at him from top to bottom. "and you must be his half brother, the former Demon King of Silence, Zeref."
"you just…" said Natsu as the Dryad girl nodded.
"spoke in this world's native language? yes" said the dryad girl.
"this world's native language? Are you saying that you're not from this world?" said Zeref, hearing her words.
"yes, my world is not here." Replied the pink haired dryad girl who looks up to the large hole above. "but rather, a world called Rentia."
"is that world…..where that Efam and his allies are from?" asked Natsu as the Dryad girl nodded.
"my name is Cosmos Fleur" said the Dryad girl, introducing her name to the two. "and I have a mission to save this world."
