RWBY: The Grimm Ranger Return (reupload)

It had been 11 years since the war with Salem had ended, and team rwby had gone on to live their own lives. 11 years after ruby rose defeated Salem. Now the world of remnant is in a state of pure peace, no fighting against other kingdoms or discrimination against the faunas. But that all changed when a new arrival appeared. (this is a rwby version of power rangers)

9. Chapter 9

Location: patch

Time: 1545 {3:45 P.M.}

P.O.V.: Alastor

Arriving back on patch took longer than I expected, since I had to stop in mantle to get medical supplies and equipment. Setting the bullhead down in the yard I shut it down and climbed out. "alright, that's another down." I exclaimed as I walked up to the command pod to check if another zord had been located while I was gone. "anything?" I asked as I opened the door and stepped in. "nothing yet boss, but we are still looking." the atlas specialist, jack, replied turning in his chair to face me. "good, keep up the search jack." I replied looking at him. "will do boss man." he replied before turning back to his computer.

"so, did you run into her?" another specialist named Isabella, asked as I sat down at the table that was covered in maps and graphs. "yea, summer was there." I replied with a sigh rubbing my temples at the headache that had formed. "have the others returned with the zord yet?" I asked as I looked out the window and saw the pterodactyl zord approaching. "well, that answers my question." I said to myself. "you know, you really have a tendency to do that." Isabella pointed out pouring a cup of coffee for me. "to do what?" I asked. "to answer your own questions." she replied with a smirk before walking off. "yea, I guess I do." I replied taking a sip of my coffee and getting up and going outside.

"woah! That was awesome! I didn't think air travel could be that fast!" ruby exclaimed as they all climbed out of the zord with Weiss wearing her ranger armor. "I must say this armor is rather comfortable." Weiss pointed out looking at herself. "I know right?" yang asked wearing hers. "it's so flexible." ruby replied with hers on as well. "I wonder if Blake is the next black ranger." Oscar pointed out looking towards Blake. "it is possible, after all the grid has chosen three of the 5 rangers already." I replied walking up the group, my ranger outfit was on my body covered in scars and damage. "I can still access the grid but my connection isn't as strong as it was before." I pointed out.

"so, any luck finding the next zord?" Blake asked looking at me. "nothing yet, seems its hidden really well that not even we can detect it yet" I replied taking another sip of my coffee. "i still can't believe she is alive" ruby replied with a hint of sadness in her voice. "yea, me either. But what happened to her?" yang asked. "it looks like she digested the Grimm blood." I replied. "Grimm blood?" yang asked looking at me.

"Grimm blood, a concoction of blood from a Grimm mixed with other chemicals. It is what turned Salem into the evil monster she was." I explained. "so, you're saying summer digested this substance?" Oscar asked. "yes, that is the only explanation." I replied. "by the brothers." Blake exclaimed covering her mouth. "I do not know if its effects are reversible, but I pray that it is." I replied taking a sip of coffee. "so, what now?" ruby asked deactivating her armor. "now? Now we train all of you in the art of the ranger." I replied setting my now empty coffee cup down and looking up at the zord.

"it is good to see you again gizmo." I said looking at the zord. It gave a slight screech in reply. "woah, I didn't know they could interact with you." Weiss said in shock. "yea, the zords form a bond with every ranger and every ranger can communicate with them through the grid but only when in their Armour." I replied looking over to her. "gizmo here was summer's zord." I said looking up at it. "yea I know big guy. I hope so too." I replied to it. "what did he say?" ruby asked.

"he said he misses summer and hopes we can undo the effects of the Grimm blood." I replied to her. "so, what are the other zords' names?" Blake asked. "well, you got gizmo here, rexy the t-rex zord, scar the saber tooth zord, tusker the mastodon, and finally, sara the triceragrimm." I replied pointing to the other zords we had already recovered. "rexy was my partner and is my best friend isn't that right rexy?" I hollered toward the t-rex zord only for it to respond with a roar. "and you will become his new best friend ruby, yang you and scar are paired, gizmo and Weiss, and if my calculations are correct tusker and Oscar and sara and Blake." I replied. This was just the beginning of a new team of rangers and a new war.
