Hello all Storm here with a new chapter! Here we'll be seeing the events of "Disaster of Disguise" much sooner, due to our heroes going to Verdanturf Town sooner. So, without further ado.

The next day after their meeting with Team Ten, Naruto, May, Max, and Brendan had gone out into town to look at the different vendor stands, to see what was being sold. While being amazed at what hey saw, with all of them being eager to see what they could get.
"Huh, is that stand selling rocks?" Naruto said, when he spotted a stand that seemed to be selling different colored rocks, getting the others attention.
"Those aren't rocks! Those are Evolution Stones!" Said Max in surprise at seeing a vendor selling such items, the others sharing in his surprise, before they went up to the stand to see what Evolution Stones it had.
"How can I help you all today? Looking for some stones to help any of your Pokémon evolve?" The vendor asked with a smile.
"We're just looking, though what kind of stones do you have?" May asked, as the vendor pulled out a tray of different Evolution Stones.
"I've got all kinds that you can choose from, Fire Stones, Water Stones, Thunder Stones, Leaf Stones, Sun Stones, and I've even some rare and obscure ones, such as Dawn Stones for example." Replied the vendor, showing off the various Evolution Stones.
"What does a Dawn Stone do?" Questioned Naruto, looking at the round, sky blue stone with a sun burst image insignia inside it, able to guess what Pokémon the other stones were used on, but couldn't guess what a Dawn Stone would do.
"A Dawn Stone can only work on a female Snorunt and a male Kirlia, evolving them into a Froslass and Gallade, respectively." The vendor answered, much to Naruto's amazement and excitement given he already had a male Kirlia.
'Meaning I could get a fully evolved Pokémon sooner, rather than later.' Thought Naruto.
"How much for the Dawn Stone?" Naruto asked, while pulling out his wallet, before paying for the stone after getting the price for it.
With his new stone in hand, Naruto and his friends headed for a nearby park, wanting to evolve his Kirlia as soon as possible.
"Come on out, Kirlia!" Naruto said as he released Kirlia.
"Kirlia?" Kirlia looked around, expecting for his Trainer to be in a battle, only to not see any opponent to face, making the Psychic-type look at Naruto in confusion.
"Sorry for calling you out like that Kirlia, but I got something for you." Said Naruto, showing Kirlia the Dawn Stone, surprising Kirlia at the sight of the Evolution Stone.
"It's a Dawn Stone, with it you'll be able to evolve into a Gallade. It's yours, if you want it." Naruto said, holding the stone out for Kirlia to take, not wanting to force any of his Pokémon to evolve if they didn't want to.
"Kir." Kirlia looked at the stone in amazement, knowing he'll be able to evolve much sooner than having to wait, with the Emotion Pokémon taking the Dawn Stone into his hands.
Not a moment later, Kirlia was engulfed in a bright blue light before he began growing changing, while the Dawn Stone vanished as it was used. The four stepping back as they watched in amazement, before soon the light dispersed, revealing the newly evolved Gallade.
Gallade is a white, bipedal Pokémon. Its lower body consists of rounded hips with strong legs. It has a thin green torso with sharp, red horns sticking out of its chest and back. Its arms are shaped like tonfas with extendable blades in its elbows. Its head resembles a gladiator's helmet with a white face, red eyes, and a teal head crest. It has spikes on the sides of its face.
"Gallade!" Gallade swung his elbow blades around for a moment and jumped around, getting used to his new body.
"Awesome! I've got a Gallade now!" Naruto cheered before he, May, and Brendan scanned Gallade with their Pokédexes.
"Gallade, the Blade Pokémon, and the evolved form of Kirlia. Gallade extends its elbows as if they were swords, and when protecting someone, it fights fiercely."

Moves: Growl, Confusion, Psybeam, Hypnosis, Draining Kiss, Thunder Punch, Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Mean Look, Destiny Bond, Slash
"And you've unlocked Mean Look, Destiny Bond, and learned Slash!" Said Naruto in shock and joy at the new moves Gallade had as well.
"Congratulations Naruto, you've just gotten yourself a really powerful Pokémon." Brendan said while smiling at his friend, along with being thankful that his team didn't have to fight Gallade back in the tournament, knowing only his Grovyle would have stood a chance.
"Even better that Gallade is a Psychic/Fighting-type, which allows it to learn plenty of new moves." Added Max, knowing Gallade was capable of learning plenty of different attacks, both from training and from TMs.
"Gallade's definitely going to be a real powerhouse for you and your team, Naruto." May stated as she smiled at her friend/crush, happy that he's managed to get such a powerful Pokémon.
"Yeah, but first we're gonna have to start training with your new attacks and get you used to your new body Gallade." Said Naruto while he looking at his Pokémon.
"Lade!" Gallade nodded in agreement with his Trainer, determined to train even harder and grow stronger with his new power
Though unknown to the four, they were being watched by someone hidden within the bushes.
*Later*
After evolving his Kirlia into a Gallade, Naruto and his friends had gone off to get some training done, with the whiskered blonde having Gallade work on his newly unlocked Egg Moves and Slash. Naruto was also thinking of what other moves his Pokémon could learn, as he thought of different combos they could learn, as he remembered Robert's advice. Plus with how Treecko increased the power of his Pound by spinning in the air, which translated very well into his Iron Tail.
While not too far away, May was working with her own Pokémon to have them improve on the combos they've already begun learning. Though mostly with Torchic, Skitty, and Eevee, since Silcoon didn't know a lot of moves and couldn't do much at the moment. But the Bug-type still worked on the moves it did know, not wanting to let her Trainer down.
"Sil." Silcoon suddenly, before it was enveloped in a bright blue light, getting everyone's attention as they were surprised at the sight, before May smiled in excitement.
"Silcoon is evolving!" Said May, happy and excited to see Silcoon was evolved.
It wasn't long until Silcoon's evolution was complete, as the light vanished revealing the newly evolved Beautifly.
"Beautifly!" Beautifly flew around before landing on May's shoulder, making the brunette smile and pet her.
"You look amazing Beautifly! I know you'll do great in Contests." Said May, with Beautifly nodding and nuzzling against the Coordinator.
"Way to go sis, first Naruto evolves Kirlia into Gallade and now your Silcoon's evolved into Beautifly." Max said, happy for his sister.
"Yeah, at this rate, I'm gonna start getting jealous with how quickly your Pokémon have been evolving." Added Brendan, though his smile showed he's happy for his friends.
"Congrats May, your Beautifly is now fully evolved and I can tell that your Pokémon will be ready for any Contest you'll be in, and I know you'll all do great." Said Naruto, with May smiling at them in thanks.
"Thanks guys, but we still have a lot of training to do, right." May replied before looking at her Pokémon, who all nodded in agreement.
Though suddenly, they were interrupted by a sudden gust of wind and dark petals falling from the sky, before someone suddenly appeared in front of them.
The person was a teenager, wearing a black suit, black dress shoes, white gloves, a white undershirt, a blue bowtie, a cape with a dark purple interior, a top hat, and a mask resembling a Dusclops face.
"Uh…who are you?" Naruto asked, looking at the stranger warily, while ready to attack in case they were an enemy.
"Greetings, I am The Phantom! And I wish to challenge you to a Pokémon Battle!" Declared Phantom pointing at Naruto while pulling out a Pokéball, surprising the group.
"You…want to challenge me to a battle?" Questioned Naruto while relaxing, since he didn't sense any ill intentions from this "Phantom".
"Correct, you and your gallant Gallade to see which of our Pokémon has the most style! We will be using the rules of the Battle Portion of Pokémon Contests, to battle and showing their skill and style." Phantom said, as they began realizing he must be a Coordinator.
"Oh, yeah sure, we can battle." Said Naruto as he and Gallade stepped forward.
"I'll be the referee." Brendan offered while going to stand between Naruto and Phantom.
"I'll keep track of the time." Said May, pulling out her PokéNav Plus and setting the timer for five minutes.
"Wonderful! Now then, Dusclops take the stage!" Phantom said while releasing his own Pokémon, a Dusclops.
Dusclops is a Pokémon with a roundish gray body with two stubby legs. Its body is hollow and can absorb anything much like a black hole. It has a single red eye and three tooth-like projections. It has two wispy, light gray growths coming out of its shoulders and one on top of its head. Its light gray hands appear to be directly attached to its body. Though one new addition was the pink stone hanging around Dusclops neck.
"Now then, whenever you're…um, are you alright?" Questioned Phantom, stopping when he suddenly saw Naruto turn pale and start shaking.
"Gallade?" Gallade looked at his Trainer in confusion and worry at his sudden behavior.
"Gh-gho-gh-gh-gho-gho…" Naruto stuttered while pointing at Dusclops.
"Clops!" Dusclops looked at Phantom in confusion, not used to this kind of reaction against opponents.
"Uh guys?" Brendan asked, looking at May and Max, who both realized the problem as they remembered Dusclops is a Ghost-type.
"Sorry about that, Naruto actually has a fear of ghost, which also makes him nervous and uneasy around Ghost-type Pokémon." Said May.
"Oh, well if you wish, I can use a different Pokémon." Phantom offered, not wanting to make Naruto uncomfortable, only for the Uzumaki to shake his head as he tried to calm down.
"N-no i-it's f-fine. I-I'll need to get used to battling G-Ghost-type Pokémon eventually, s-so just give it your all." Replied Naruto, knowing he can't freeze up every time he faces Ghost-type Pokémon, while the others smiles at him trying to face his fears.
Before the battle started Naruto and May also scanned Dusclops.
"Dusclops, the Beckon Pokémon. Dusclops is said to be able to suck practically anything into its body, the black hole-like core of which is completely empty."
"Alright, the battle between The Phantom's Dusclops and Naruto's Gallade, will now began!" Brendan declared, while May started the timer.
"Alright, Dusclops use Will-O-Wisp!" Said Phantom, with Dusclops forming a blue fireball between its hands.
"Dus-clops!" Dusclops thrust its hands forward, launching the fireball at Gallade.
"Gallade send it back at Dusclops with Confusion!" Naruto said, Gallade's eyes glowed blue while he was surrounded by a blue aura, before swiping his arm through the air and sending the fireball flying back towards Dusclops.
"Not so fast, use Shadow Punch to dispel the flames Dusclops!" Phantom said, as a dark grey aura surrounded Dusclops's fist.
"Dus!" Dusclops punched its fist forward, shooting out a black shadow fist.
The two attacks collided together, triggering an explosion of blue and black embers descending across the field.
"Get in close now Gallade and knock Dusclops back with Thunder Punch!" Said Naruto, as Gallade rushed towards Dusclops with his fist being surrounded with electricity.
"Gal-lade!" Gallade slammed his fist into Dusclops, knocking the Ghost-type into the air.
"Dusclops retaliate with Shadow Ball!" Said Phantom, with Dusclops forming a ball of dark energy between its hands.
"Dusclops!" Dusclops then fired the Shadow Ball at Gallade, who's eyes widened at the oncoming attack.
"Stop it with a Fire Punch Gallade!" Naruto said quickly, knowing Gallade wouldn't be able to dodge the attack.
"Gallade!" Gallade's fist was covered in flames before he punched forward, the two attacks connecting together, resulting in an explosion of black, purple, and orange sparks, with the Psychic/Fighting-type taking the chance to jump back.
"A marvelous display, but you won't get away that easily! Dusclops, grab Gallade with Psychic! And then begin charging up a Focus Punch!" Said Phantom.
"Clops." Dusclops eye glowed red, while Gallade suddenly found himself unable to move.
"Gal-lade." Gallade tried breaking free from the Psychic hold, but couldn't move.
"Now bring Gallade in close and strike!" Phantom said, with Dusclops pulling Gallade straight towards.
"Gallade use Confusion to knock Dusclops's attack off-course!" Said Naruto, as Gallade's eyes glowed blue with a blue glow surrounding the Beckon Pokémon's fist, putting it just slightly off center.
"Dus-clops!" Dusclops punched the air once Gallade was close enough, causing a light blue energy blast to come out and impact Gallade.
"Gallade!" Gallade was launched back, skidding across the ground, only succeeding in staying conscious due to being part Psychic-type and using Confusion to knock Dusclops's attack off-course.
"You alright Gallade?" Naruto asked, with Gallade nodding in response before standing up straight.
"Okay then get in close and use Draining Kiss!" Said Naruto.
"Gallade!" Gallade rushed forward towards Dusclops to grab hold of it.
"Dusclops dodge quickly!" Said Phantom, as Dusclops moved to get out of the way, only for Gallade to be faster and grab hold of Dusclops and kiss it on the head, taking a good amount of its energy and restoring his own.
"Now jump back and use Psybeam!" Said Naruto, with Gallade doing so as his horn glowed before firing a multi-colored beam at the Ghost-type.
"Use Shadow Ball Dusclops!" Phantom said quickly, as Dusclops charged up another Shadow Ball.
"Dusclops!" Dusclops launched the Shadow Ball at the Psybeam, with the two attacks colliding together, resulting in explosion of multi-colored lights and shadows.
"Use Hypnosis now Gallade!" Naruto said, with Gallade's irises glowing red with Dusclops's eye glowing as well, before it closed and fell asleep.
"Well done using Hypnosis to put Dusclops to sleep, however, we've prepared for such a situation! Dusclops, use Sleep Talk!" Said Phantom, as Dusclops began charging blue energy around itself.
"Dus…clops." Dusclops fired the energy as an orange beam towards the shocked Gallade.
"Gallade dodge!" Naruto shouted, with Gallade diving to the side, just barely able to avoid the powerful attack, before getting up once it stopped.
With The Phantom being unable to help but curse, that of all the attacks Sleep Talk gave them, it had to be the one that'll leave Dusclops defenseless and have to recharge. Thankfully, they also prepared for this possibility as well, training Dusclops in using Hyper Beam to cutdown on the recharge time. Along with boosting Dusclops's defense and special defense so it could tank hits, even giving the Ghost-type an Eviolite to boost them even further.
Now he just had to hope Dusclops's bulkiness will pull through and get him the win.
"Okay Gallade, now's our chance, use Ice-" Naruto said, only to stop as everyone looked to see a car pulling up with a large middle-aged woman stepping out and glaring at Phantom.
"You, Phantom! Where's Timothy?!" Demanded the woman, as Phantom began freaking out at seeing her.
"S-sorry, but I gotta cut the battle short! Dusclops return!" Said Phantom, quickly returning his Pokémon before taking off running.
"Hey, get back here, I'm not done with you!" The woman shouted chasing after Phantom as he ran away, wincing slightly when he pushed a stray branch away, only for it to scratch the back of his hand.
While Naruto, May, Max, and Brendan looked on in surprise and confusion at this sudden turn of events.
"Gallade?" Gallade looked at Naruto, just as confused and unsure if this could be counted as a win.
"I'm…not really sure either." Replied Naruto, before the woman came back having been unable to catch Phantom.
"Um, miss are you-" May said, only for the woman to suddenly glare at the four.
"You kids! Are you all friends with that Phantom?!" The woman demanded, as they all quickly shook their heads.
"No, we just met him! He just showed up and asked to battle Naruto and Gallade!" Brendan said quickly.
"Yeah, we don't know anything about Phantom!" Max added, as the woman's mood did a completely turnaround as she smiled at them.
"Oh, well in that case, I apologize for my behavior. I've just been trying to catch Phantom for some time now. By the way, I'm Kimiyo Grimm." Introduced Kimiyo.
"I'm Naruto Uzumaki, these are May, Max, and Brendan. Why exactly are you trying to catch Phantom? You mentioned someone named Timothy?" Naruto asked, with Kimiyo nodding.
"Yes, my son Timmy. He's been skipping school recently and hanging around that Phantom miscreant. I'm trying to catch him and reveal his identity, so he'll stop influencing such my behavior in my son." Revealed Kimiyo, surprising the four at learning this.
"Well if you want, we could help you find out who The Phantom is, so he'd stop influencing your son." Naruto offered, with his friends nodding in agreement.
"Thank you, that's very kind of you children." Kimiyo replied, thankful for the help in finding out who Phantom is.
*Later*
Kimiyo took the friends back to her manor residence in Verdanturf.
"Timmy, I'm home! Timothy!" Kimiyo called out, as Timmy came downstairs.
"Mom? When did you get home? I was just in my room studying." Said Timmy.
"This is my son Timmy." Said Kimiyo.
"Hi, I'm Naruto Uzumaki." Naruto introduced.
"My names May and this is my brother Max." Said May.
"And I'm Brendan." Brendan said.
"Nice to meet you, now if you don't mind." Replied Timmy, turning to return to his room and finish making notes about Naruto's Gallade.
"Hold on! You wouldn't happen to be up to something, would you?!" Said Kimiyo, while holding up Timmy's pen.
"Where did you find my pen?!" Timmy asked nervously at seeing he dropped it.
Naruto and his friends were a little freaked out by how Kimiyo seemed to be practically interrogating Timmy, before she noticed a scratch on the back of his hand, in the same place as The Phantom's. Though Timmy soon grabbed his pen and ran off back to his room, much to Kimiyo's worry before taking the four into the living room.
"Timmy has a wound on his hand in the same spot as The Phantoms, and he got so upset when I asked him about it. Could it be that The Phantom and Timmy are the same person?" Kimiyo said, worried that her son could actually be The Phantom.
"Just because they both have cuts on the same spot, doesn't prove that Timmy's The Phantom." Said Brendan, since similar injuries doesn't mean they're the same person.
"And The Phantom was pretty strong. Is Timmy that good of a Trainer?" Max asked, since Timmy didn't seem as confident as The Phantom was.
"Of course not! Timmy is going to be a brilliant executive and take over my company! I'd never let him waste time on that nonsense!" Kimiyo said instantly, refusing to even think of her son being a Pokémon Trainer.
"Being a Trainer isn't nonsense, there's a lot you could learn by catching and training Pokémon." Naruto said while frowning, not liking someone say being a Trainer is "nonsense", only for Kimiyo to point a finger at him.
"That's enough out of you! Your job is to find out what you can about The Phantom and get him to stay away from son! Now I have work to do!" Said Kimiyo, preparing to leave, only to stop when her husband Tommy entered the room.
"Kimiyo, would it really hurt to let Timmy become a Pokémon Trainer? He really likes Pokémon, and it would teach him responsibility. Or could you at least talk to him and try to come to a compromise, so he could be a Coordinator?" Tommy asked, knowing how much his son loved Pokémon and wanted to be a Coordinator.
"Absolutely not! Timmy has more important things to do than go around catching Pokémon, and he's clearly not being responsible if he's skipping school to hang around that Phantom." Said Kimiyo adamantly, refusing to allow Timmy to become a Coordinator, making Tommy sigh before looking at his wife.
"Trying to force him to do what you want, rather than letting him do what he wants isn't helping Timmy. Do you really want to have him end up cutting you out of his life, like you did with your parents?" Tommy asked, not liking it, but wanted to get his wife to see reason and let their son decide what he wanted to do.
While Kimiyo was stunned that he'd bring that up, before looking away solemnly as she left the room.
"So, you're Timmy's father?" Naruto asked as they looked at Tommy, who nodded.
"That's right, I'm Tommy Grimm. And I heard what my wife asked of you all, and I think I can help solve this little mystery. Follow me." Said Tommy before motioning them to follow him.
Tommy lead them up to his study where he revealed Phantom's costume, much to their shock, before he began explaining the truth of The Phantom. That Timmy was the second incarnation of The Phantom and Tommy was the first, having created the disguise so he could compete in Contests against his wife's wishes. Until he eventually retired, since he couldn't stand lying to her anymore.
But things changed when Timmy found a lost Duskull, only for his mother to tell him to get rid of it, leaving him devastated that he couldn't interact with Pokémon. Leading to Tommy creating a new costume for his son, with Timmy becoming the new Phantom.
"So, that's what's going on." Naruto said, amazed at the story.
"Now Timmy has his confidence back when he's The Phantom, and he's become a pretty good Pokémon Coordinator too." Stated Tommy, proud of how far his son has come as a Coordinator.
"You can say that again." May said, nodding in agreement, having seen how well Timmy battled against Naruto and was still able show off his Dusclops's style excellently.
She also knew that with the way Timmy's Dusclops was able to keep up with Naruto's Gallade, even if he was still newly evolved and getting used to his new body, it's still impressive. Making May know if she and Timmy ended up facing each other in the Contest, she'd need to rely on cutting down his points to win.
"And Timmy would never be allowed to go off on a journey like you kids have. So, you can imagine with Timmy, the Pokémon Contest coming to town is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I would love for him to enter, but I just don't know." Said Tommy, not knowing how his son would be able to compete in the Contest.
"Hmmm…I think I may actually have a plan for how Timmy can enter the Contest." Naruto said, getting an idea of how they could help Timmy.
"I'll help in any way I can, tell me." Tommy said, wanting to help his son.
"First, could we officially meet Timmy?" Asked Naruto, with Tommy nodding in response before taking them up to Timmy's room and knocked on the door.
"Son, you have some company." Said Tommy, opening the door as they entered Timmy's room, making him freak out and try to hide his costume.
"Dad no!" Shouted Timmy, believing they'd tell his mother he was The Phantom.
"It's alright, you don't have to hide anything from these guys, they're your friends." Tommy assured.
"What? My friends?" Timmy asked, not expecting to hear that.
"Yeah, and besides, we never got the chance to finish our battle, Phantom. But how would you like to get the chance to enter into the Pokémon Contest?" Naruto asked, surprising the boy.
"Are you serious? Well if you knew me, you'd know I'd do anything to enter that Contest!" Replied Timmy, excited at getting the chance to enter the upcoming Contest.
*Later-With Kimiyo*
Kimiyo sat in her car on her way back home from work, before looking out the window at the sight of a mother and daughter, with the daughter holding a Poochyena.
"Oh mommy, thank you so much!" Said the daughter, smiling as she held her Pokémon.
"You're welcome, I'm glad you like it honey. But it's your responsibility to take good care of it." The mother replied.
"I will mommy, I promise." Said the daughter, as Kimiyo looked at them in surprise, before looking away solemnly.
Kimiyo then remembered when she had taken over her family's company from her parents.
*Flashback*
"Congratulations Kimiyo, we knew you'd be able to take control of the company, at least once you started focusing on what was important." Said Kimiyo's father, with Kimiyo sitting behind her desk in her new office, looking at her parents with an unamused expression.
"Thank you, dad, I'll do everything I can and what's best for the company. Which is why my first order of business was ensuring that neither of you will have any ties or control of it from this point onward." Revealed Kimiyo, much to their shock and indignation.
"What?! You can't do that!" Her mother said.
"Actually I can, as CEO, I have full control over the company, and can I decide how it's run. And I decided that it'd be best if neither of you had any say in how I run it. You both know where the exit is." Said Kimiyo, with her parents being angered at the dismissal.
"Is this about that mutt we told you to get rid of?! If so then, maybe you aren't ready to take control!" Her father shouted, with Kimiyo clenching her fists and glaring at them.
"I gave you a chance to leave willingly, but now I'll have you removed from the premises, security!" Kimiyo said, calling in security to remove her parents from the building.
"And you won't just stay away from MY company, you'll also be staying far away from MY family as well!" Said Kimiyo, watching in satisfaction as her parents were taken away.
*End Flashback*
Shaking her head at the memories, Kimiyo arrived back home just in time to see Naruto, May, and Brendan training their Pokémon, with Max also tending to his Shroomish.
Though before any of them could say anything, a gust of wind sudden appeared with black petals being carried with it.
"Nice to see you again Naruto, I hope you're ready to finish our battle." Said The Phantom as he suddenly appeared on the balcony.
"It's him, the Phantom!" Kimiyo said, narrowing her eyes at the sight of The Phantom.
"Phantom the Masked Coordinator, I'd prefer my audience to get my name right. Now then, ready to pick up where we left off?" Phantom said, before jumping down across from Naruto and pulling out a Pokéball.
"Ready to win for real this time Phantom!" Replied Naruto, smirking as Gallade jumped forward.
"What's all this about The Phantom?" Tommy asked as he and Timmy came running outside, surprising Kimiyo at seeing her son and Phantom at the same time.
"But, wait a minute! I was sure you were The Phantom, Timmy!" Said Kimiyo.
"Mom, are you feeling alright? Me being The Phantom?" Timmy asked.
"Yeah, I can assure you dear, Timmy's been in his room the whole day studying." Added Tommy, as Kimiyo looked between the two with wide eyes, while May nodded and smiled at Naruto.
"Well it seems that we won't be able to finish our battle just yet. But next time, we'll see how good you and your Gallade really are, just like you'll see how good I am in the Contest." Said Phantom, before the wind and petals returned as the Masked Coordinator suddenly vanished.
"Oooh…maybe I should go lay down." Kimiyo muttered, getting a headache before heading inside, with the others waiting until she was out of earshot before smiling at the plan succeeding.
"It looks like you're in the clear to enter the Contest now, Phantom." Brendan stated, with Timmy nodding in excitement.
"Yeah! I can't thank you all enough for this, it really means a lot that you did this for me." Said Timmy, thankful for their help.
"No problem, we're glad we were able to help you reach your dream to enter a Contest." May replied.
"Though how exactly did you guys manage to pull off that switch so quickly, and without any problems?" Timmy asked as that part still confused him.
"I'm actually wondering that too. You even managed to make The Phantom look and sound exactly like Timmy, when he wears the costume." Said Tommy, also wondering how they were able to pull that off.
Naruto merely smiled mysteriously along with May and Max.
*With The Phantom*
Meanwhile, The Phantom removed the costume before being enveloped in a cloud of smoke, revealing it was a Transformed Shadow Clone Naruto had created.
"Okay, Timmy should find the costume here for the Contest." Said the clone, placing The Phantom costume somewhere where Timmy will be able to find it for the Contest.
Once its task was complete, the clone dispelled itself, sending all its memories back to the original Naruto.
So, what did you think, good. Yep we see Naruto acquiring a Dawn Stone and evolving Kirlia into Gallade, with Silcoon evolving soon after into Beautifly. With The Phantom then soon appearing and challenging Naruto to a battle, which starts off shaky due to Naruto's wariness of Ghost Pokémon, along with Gallade getting used to his new body, but manage to gain the advantage. Only for the battle to be interrupted with the arrival of Mrs. Grimm, forcing Phantom to escape, before the group offers to help Kimiyo find out who The Phantom is, only to learn the truth from Tommy about The Phantom, with there having also been a hint of Kimiyo's own past before we also get a flashback for her as well. Finally we see our heroes plan to help Timmy enter the Contest, with Naruto's clone disguising itself as The Phantom, with no Team Rocket around to interrupt. Now then onto the Omake!
Omake: The Seer and The Medic
"Um Shion, not that I'm ungrateful to be traveling with you, but do you have a destination in mind for where we're going?" Amaru asked, looking at the priestess, or former priestess now, as they walked down a trail with their starter Pokémon beside them.
Shion having a Xatu and Amaru having a Gastly.
The two were currently traveling through the Sinnoh Region together, having encountered each other not long after arriving. Something that Amaru was thankful for, at meeting someone else from the Elemental Nations, rather than having to travel through the Server Regions alone. Though she also couldn't help but wonder if they had a set destination in mind, since Shion hasn't said anything about where they were going.
"I believe that it'd be best if we traveled to Celestic Town, one of the oldest towns in the Sinnoh Region and preserves the history of all of Sinnoh." Replied Shion, surprising Amaru at finally getting an answer.
"Okay, any particular reason for Celestic Town?" Questioned Amaru, Shion simply smiling at her.
"It will become clear in time, I just ask that you trust me, I promise everything will be explained." Shion answered.
"Xatu." Xatu nodded in agreement with its Trainer, while Amaru was only more confused before looking at Gastly.
"Gast." Gastly could only shake its head, just as confused as her.
Amaru could only sigh but nod in agreement with Shion as they continued on their way, the medic-in-training at least happy they had a destination ahead of them.
And it looks like Shion and Amaru are in Sinnoh, and given everything that'll happen there eventually, it'll probably be good for Naruto and Co. to have some help. So, review if you liked go away if you didn't.
