4. Fascination

My fox fire had no effect on Plasmius. He brushed it aside, and I noticed a pink shield.

"Nice color." I smirked. "But I have more tricks."

I turned on the enchantment. But did it work on ghosts?

Plasmius moved slowly, like in a dream, moving towards me. "Reiko..."

He shook his head and fired a plasmic ray at me. I shuddered and blocked it.

"Nice try." Plasmius said. "You enchantment might have worked on my human form, but not on this form."

"I NEVER ENCHANTED YOU!" I snarled. The very thought! I hated to use that power! Like I would have used it on him. "If you like me that's your problem!"

I was caught in his human arms. "Fascinating. Then I must really like you."

I blushed. I couldn't help it.
