Our story opens up at Daphne's house, where we see her trying to read a magazine, but can't because of something happening right near her.
"What do you mean you can't do my daughter's wedding?!" Nan shouted into her phone. "I don't care if that homeless shelter needs you! Just do my daughter's wedding or you'll never serve food in this town again!"
Daphne sighed as her mother paused briefly. Once again, her sister's wedding is stressing her mother out.
"Mom, could you please talk in your phone somewhere else? I'm trying to read." She said.
"Not now, sweetie." Nan ignored her. "Momma's working."
"Yeah, I can see that." Daphne got up and walked away.
As the redhead made her way to her room, she sighed heavily.
"Maybe now I'll get some peace." She thought as she opened up her book.
"Listen, I don't think you know who you're dealing with!" Barty yelled from downstairs. "We are not serving pastel M&Ms at the board meeting! Order regular ones or you're fired!"
"There goes daddy, always overreacting." Daphne rolled her eyes.
She scoffed and shook her head.
"Daphne!" A voice suddenly appeared.
"Aah!" Daphne jumped in shock.
It was Vincent Van Ghoul on the crystal ball.
"Oh hi, Mr. Van Ghoul, what's up?" She asked him.
"I'll tell you what's up!" Vincent said. "I found the third ghost! Meet me at the park and I'll explain everything!"
"Here we go." Daphne thought to herself.
Meanwhile about millions of years ago, Captain Caveman, his son and the Teen Angels were still looking at the Stone Age town in front of them.
"Son...me can't believe it..." said Cavey.
"We're...we're home!" Junior smiled. "We're finally home!"
Happy to be back in their original time period, Cavey and Junior both started jumping and running around frantically.
"We home!" Cavey and his son both chanted.
"Hold on, what the heck is going on here, Cavey?" asked Dee-Dee.
"Yeah." Taffy agreed. "What are you guys so excited about?"
"Don't you see? This is Bedrock, our home!" Cavey smiled. "Weird clock man must have sent us here when we get sucked into magic hole thingy."
"I can just smell that sweet Bedrock air!" Junior inhaled through his nose.
"No, son, me believe that the smell of bronto ribs and burgers!" Cavey sniffed. "Can't wait to have some again!"
"Do let's, dad!" Junior nodded.
The girls shared glances with each other.
Cavey picked up Taffy. "Hang on Taffy, you about to go for a prehistoric ride! Captain CAVEMAAAANNN!"
Cavey flew up into the sky with Taffy on his back.
Junior grabbed Brenda and Dee-Dee and flew after his father.
"And son!" He said.
Brenda swallowed as she sees how high up they're in the sky.
"C-C-C-Cavey...are you sure you know your way around this p-p-p-place?" She stuttered.
"Course Brenda, this me home." Cavey said. "Me know place like inside of club."
"Not like I do." Cave-Bird said as he popped out of the club. "It does need a makeover, I'll tell you that much."
Meanwhile down at Slate's Rock Quarry, the men were finishing up lifting up boulders with the cranes, when all of a sudden, a bird whistled that it was quitting time.
"Yabba dabba doo!" Fred said as he slid down his bronto crane's back and landed in his car.
"Wait up, Fred!" Barney said as he slid down his bronto crane and landed in the passenger seat.
"Almost missed." Fred remarked as Barney briefly adjusted his position on the passenger seat.
"Alright buddy boy, now step on it!" Barney said. "We've gotta get home in time for the game!"
"You got it, Barn!" Fred said as he started peddling his feet to drive the car.
Up in the sky, Cavey and Junior were still carrying the Teen Angels above Bedrock, when all of a sudden, the two superheroes started to sputter.
"Uh oh, bad time for energy crisis." Cavey gulped.
The gang then started falling down from the sky and right towards the exact same road where Fred and Barney were driving.
Brenda immediately squeezed her eyes shut.
"Aaahhh!" They screamed.
Next thing they knew, they fell right onto Fred's car hood and bounced right off and onto the road.
The impact prompted Fred and Barney to stop their car.
"Hey! What's the big idea?" Fred demanded. "Get outta the road, Buster!"
"Unga..." Cavey remarked as he got up.
"Say! Wait a minute! Don't I know you?" asked Fred.
"Ugh...me not so sure..." Cavey groaned.
"No, no, wait, it's on the tip of my tongue..." Barney pondered.
"Are you okay, Cavey?" Dee-Dee asked.
"Cavey? That's it!" Fred snapped his fingers. "You're that superhero that mysteriously disappeared twenty two years ago! Captain Caveman!"
"Yeah, and that little guy must be your son, Cavey Jr!" Barney added. "It looks like you've given him a mom. Three of them."
"Somebody has been busy." Fred winked.
Taffy spoke up. "Well, actually we-"
"Twenty two years?" asked Cavey. "Did you say twenty two years?"
"Yeah, that's what I said." Fred nodded. "That was also the last time we saw our friend, Chester and his son. Weird, huh?"
Feb 6Cavey almost swallowed at the mention of his secret identity.
Feb 6"Say Captain, how'd you two like to come to our house for dinner?" suggested Barney.
"Forget it, Barn!" Fred exclaimed. "The game is about to start and the last thing I need is more people in my house eating my food!"
"Well, we could use something to eat." Cavey pondered. "We would love to come!"
"That's good and bring your lady friends, too." Barney said.
The gang got into the car and Fred peddled the car into town.
Meanwhile back in the present, Scooby, Shaggy and Daphne met Vincent in the woods.
"Alright, so what do we know about the third ghost?" Shaggy asked in greeting.
"Well, his name is Reflector Spector." Vincent explained. "He's a demon that is able create a suction in the vicinity facing the mirror. Anything or anybody from the mortal world is sucked into the Mirror Dimension, where he can control everything! The floors, the gravity, you name it. When he captures mortals, they will forever be trapped in this dimension unless they have the magical means to escape."
"Zoinks!" Shaggy gulped. "Like, I'm going to stay away from the bathroom for a while."
"Do you know where we can find him?" asked Daphne. "Like a mirror store?"
"Actually, he's at Coney Island in New York." Vincent projected an image of a fair from his staff. "They have a funhouse filled with trick mirrors, which makes it the perfect place for naive and unsuspecting humans."
"Rhy doesn't that round reassuring?" Scooby asked.
"So the question now is, how are we going to stop Reflector and escape the Mirror World?" asked Daphne.
Vincent then magically made three magic amulets appear on the gang's chests.
"Jeepers!" said Daphne. "What are these? And more importantly, they don't match my outfit."
"These special amulets will help you escape the Mirror World without Reflector's magic." Vincent said. "Do not take them off. If you do, you'll be stuck in Mirror World...forever."
"By the sounds of it, I'm definitely keeping mine on." Shaggy gulped.
Me too..." Scooby shivered.
"Alright Mr. Van Ghoul, take us to Coney Island!" Daphne proclaimed.
"At once!" Vincent nodded.
Vincent waved his magic staff and blasted our heroes to their destination.
