''Why are you training?'' Itachi asks, his eyes wide.

Sasuke stumbles but catches himself before he falls on the ground. He looks up and sees Itachi and Shisui walking towards them. Shisui gives a little wave and smile but Sasuke soesn't even register that Shisui is here alive to.

Itachi!

Sasuke wants to do nothing more than to run towards him and hug him and tells him that he loves him and to never leave him again but for some reason he cannot move. All he can do is stare at his brother. His father frowns at him but then focuses his attention on Itachi.

''He has awakened the sharigan .''

''What?'' Itachi looks shocked at this and this is officialyl one of the few times Sasuke can read his brother's expression. Shisui is also shocked.

''How?''

His father looks at Sasuke again. ''I don't know. He hasn't told me or your mother but your mother doesn't want to push it. ''

''And you listened to her?'' Itachi says.

Their father sighs and decides to ignore his oldest.

''I was planning on cutting my training session with Sasuke short because I have a meeting with the elders. But now that you are here you can finish the training with him, you remember the exercises right?'' Their father says as he already makes his way towards their house showing that he is done with this conversation. Itachi is quiet for some time but then nods and their father disappears into the house. Itachi looks at the closed door for a moment before bringing his attention towards Sasuke.

But Sasuke still hasn't moved. Still doesn't know how to react. To hug him? Tell him he loves his brother? To yell at him for choosing the village over their family? Even if it was to protect Sasuke wasn't there another way? When he met Itachi again and wanted to talk to him when Itachi was brought from de dead he didn't really get much of an answer. Would Itachi choose the same method this time again? Sasuke doesn't want that. He wants to keep spending time with his mother who he liked spending time with. He was also still happy spending time with his father because he never got to do that before even if he was still doubting if the man cared for him. He loved going through the compound to get tomatoes from the older clan members. He even spend more time with the children of his clan. He wanted to get to know his clan better because he couldn't remember any of them that well. He wants to know who they are. He doesn't want to see his clan die again. His brother put through the pain of killing his own clan again. He thinks he cannot handle it.

I don't want to be alone again.

Sasuke must have taken too long to answer because both Itachi and Shisui walk towards him.

''Sasuke?''

How long has Itachi been calling my name?

Itachi takes a hold of Sasuke's chin and lifts it slightly up.

''Can you show me your sharigan?'' He asks but Sasuke is still too much stuck in his own thoughts.

Itachi then activates his Sharigan and on reflex Sasuke activates his own. Though after a few seconds Sasuke's sharigan fades again. His control has been getting better because of the training with his father and his father has been showing him exercises to extend his chakra reserves and to control his chakra. Itachi also deactivates his sharigan. When Sasuke looks into his brother's eyes he sees sadness even though Itachi tries to hide it.

Author's note

This chapter is longer than normal and I had to cut it or it would be over a 1000 words and that would make the other chapters look weird. Next chapter will be up soon though.

This was actually supposed to be chapter 4... Also I did some research and I think the third Hokage wasn't a good Hokage at all. Especially not how he dealt with Danzo. He didn't do anything about him at all. But you will see me rant more about him in later chapters. Because after my research I got even more ideas...so it is going to be a long ride people. I hope you don't mind.

By the way this chapter was so hard to write because at first I thought Sasuke would be happy to see his brother and would want to protect him and tell him the truth. But I thought that Sasuke should be more conflicted about it, after all Itachi did kill his whole family and pushed Sasuke on the road of revenge. So even if Sasuke loves Itachi very much he is also sad and angry at him and doesn't know how to handle these emotions and so decided to ignore him for now. How would Sasuke react to Itachi according to you guys?
