Once the girl was dealt with and the incident reported, Zero escorted the vampires back to their dormitory. Kaname quickly led Akari to his office, ignoring the looks. Senri followed quickly, only to be cut off by Seiren.

"She is my mistress to protect." Senri hissed at Seiren. He wanted to be in their to back her up and protect her.

"He is my master to protect." Seiren answered back, but she could understand his need to be with her. Loyalty spoke the loudest to purebloods. "We will wait outside and listen for fighting. If so, we simple restrain them. Agree?" She then continued. Senri nodded but still didn't look pleased. They both stood guard outside the office door.

"I would prefer that you spoke to me with respect in front of others." Kaname stated once the door was shut. Akari glared at him.

"Why should I show you respect when you show me none." She hissed at him. "First at the party when you called me yours when our agreement was friendship. Then with Ruka, you made a fool out of me!" She then shouted at him. Kaname sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. He wanted this to be a calm conversation where he could apologise and they could start again.

"At the party I wanted to ensure no one got any ideas. I was trying to protect you from wondering eyes and hands." Kaname tried to explain. "I never meant for it to happen." He then told her calmly, referring to Ruka.

"Really? Because I'm sure that you are more than capable of stopping a girl from pulling your trousers down and putting her lips around you. And I'm also sure you were enjoying yourself an awful lot." Akari didn't care for what his excuses were, she was sure she had heard them all before.

"I was just getting frustrated and Ruka approached me. I wasn't thinking clearly." He admitted, keeping himself calm to try and calm her down. She rolled her eyes and shook her head.

"You could have come to me." She told him; she was finally talking to him calmly. "Kaname, when you trapped me at my bedroom door, when your calm and clear thinking left you, I felt so much emotion from you." She signed and sat down in the chair in front of his desk. "It was like you let go of everything that held you back because you're the king. You gave into yourself and showed me how you felt about me." She quickly whipped away her tears. "But you went and did that." She hissed, tears now flowing freely. Kaname kneeled down in front of her. He felt so ashamed of himself, he felt like he had destroyed her heart. He never thought he would feel like that for anyone.

"I'm sorry." He told her, looking into her eyes. "I really am sorry. I never thought I could do something like that to you, ever. I love you Akari, I do." Akari shook her head, trying desperately to dry her face.

"Prove it." She finally crocked out. Kaname smiled and leaned down towards her face. She watched him closely, wondering what he was going to do. Suddenly, his lips met hers, her kissed her with so much passion and lust, it almost made her forget everything. He slowly pulled back and looked into her eyes.

"Let me prove to you that when we are together, you will see me totally unguarded. I promise you that." He told her as he watched a small smile begin to form on her lips.

"If I see you share anything with Ruka, even if it's a look of lust or regret, I will leave here and you know Senri will follow me." She warned him. "You will never see me again." She added before standing up. Kaname stood up quickly and pulled her into a hug.

"I will never betray you again." He told her and held her close, tucking her head under his chin. He took in her scent. He could smell a faint scent of Senri but he already knew that the boy had given up his bed for her. He would thank Senri when he had a chance. She had chosen wisely with Senri. He was suspicious that Senri may have feels for her but he could use that for to keep her safe, especially since he still didn't know where Rido was. He would still watch Senri closely, the same way he was watching Zero. He hadn't failed to notice Zero's wondering eyes for Yuki.

He let her go and she smiled a little.

"I'm going to lay down, I'm just tired after what's happened." She told him before leaving the office. Kaname bid her goodnight and watched her leave. He noticed how quickly Senri followed after her, he was the best option to keep Akari safe from Rido. The only issue he could see with Akari is that she had known Rido for so long, she had seen his good side and been cared and loved by Rido. He was worried that she may approach him anyway if he made an appearance. He wasn't sure what she would do, would she go with him or scold him like a little boy? He could never be sure about what she would do from one day to the next. He would have to have a word with Senri and make sure that he would stop her from doing anything stupid.

Once Akari got to her room, Senri followed for an update. She shhed him before he could say a word and passed him a notebook. She kept the door open as Senri read the notebook and then rip the pages he needed out. He took his spot by the open door. She had written down a plan to make Kaname even more jealous.

"You're accepting his apology?!" Senri raised his voice from the door way before stepping into the room. They both knew that Kaname would have heard him. Kaname always kept a listen out for Senri and her in case he was needed.

"He promised it wouldn't happen again." She told him with her back to him, hiding her smile.

"Are you insane?!" Senri snapped at her, he marched towards her. They both knew Kaname would be rushing to her aid now. Senri spun her around and held her by her shoulders. "He will, once a cheater, always a cheater." He told her as he felt Kaname's presence behind him in the door way. His hands went from her shoulders to her neck. He leaned down to kiss her.

Senri was thrown across the room. Akari let out a small scream before covering her mouth. Kaname glared at Senri as he stood over him. Akari quickly pushed her way between Senri and Kaname as Senri stood up, glaring back at Kaname. Seiren, Takuma and Akatsuki had come running after hearing Akari's scream.

"Get out of the way Lady Akari." Senri spoke calmly as he continued to glare at Kaname. She turned to Senri and shook her head.

"Akari, please move." Kaname then spoke up. Again, she shook her head.

"I will not allow either one of you to fight each other, now or any other time." She told them sternly. "Kaname, please apologise for throwing Senri and then Senri will apologise for speaking out of turn to me. I will punish him myself." She told the both of them. Seiren came to stand by Kaname, ready to stop any attack from Senri. Takuma and Akatsuki were watching closely, Takuma had even come in to stand next to Senri. Akatsuki stood in line with Akari, ready to pull her out of the way. Kaname growled, shaking his head. Akari walked up to him, ignoring the tension in the air. She gently placed her hands either side of his face, bringing his attention to her. "Please Kaname." She kissed him gently on the lips, his eyes softened. Kaname took a deep breath before looking at Senri.

"I apologise for throwing you across the room." Kaname stated through gritted teeth. Senri nodded and sighed before looking at Akari.

"I'm sorry for my actions and the way I spoke to you." Senri apologised to Akari. "I just want to protect you." He added and Akari smiled softly. Kaname glared at Senri again, he was trying to get himself out of trouble and he was getting away with it. How could she be so blind to it? Kaname stormed off, growling.

"I'll deal with you later." Akari told Senri before running after Kaname.
