Sasuke isn't disappointed. He didn't know his mother was this good. Apparently she was a Jounin. A Jounin! Sasuke never knew. Even if she hasn't been an activate shinobi for a long time she is still very good and gives a lot of practical advice that really help Sasuke. He asked if she can help him with his training every time the others are busy. She laughs and ruffles his hair.
''Sure if you help me around the house I don't mind.''
Maybe he can invite Naruto and Sakura to train here to. If they have adult supervision Sakura's parents may be more inclined to let Sakura participate. He thinks his mother would be more inclined to say yes to this plan then his father. And Sasuke isn't sure if Shisui will do it if his father is against it.
''I can help you.'' Sasuke responds.
''You can?'' His mother repeats grinning. ''Let's put that to the test and cook something then?''
They make omusubi. One of Sasuke's favourites. He really missed his mother cooking. Even though he learned cooking by himself and tried the receipts in his mother's cookbooks it never tasted the same. He thinks by himself that he doesn't mind cooking with her either. Maybe if Naruto and Sakura are allowed to train with him they could also stay and make dinner together? That way they could all spend even more time with each other. Naruto could definitly use some cooking advice.
''Are you happy Sasuke?'' His mother suddenly asks him. He looks up to look at her confused.
''I am.'' He says.
''I am glad.'' His mother responds.
He thinks about his mother question about if he made friends. Sadly Sakura will be visiting her aunt tomorrow with her family but Naruto is free.
''Mom, can my friend come over tomorrow?''
