Hello there, everyone. Sorry for my absence, I got addicted to LoL, and I also didn't feel in the writing mood, but now it's back in full force, so I hope you will all enjoy this extra-long chapter. But, we won't be jumping straight into the next chapter and instead will be taking a step back to the Shie Hassaikai Arc. So I hope you'll enjoy it and remember to leave a review so that I can improve.

Chapter cover- Hina and the Amallie family, sitting under a tree, enjoying a picnic.

Ch.43- Savior

In the yakuza hideout underground, a large man with long, light-brown hair is hobbling his way out after his recent fight with Fat Gum and Red Riot. His t-shirt and pants are tattered after tanking Fat Gum's most potent attack, which also broke both his arms, yet he's somehow able to keep moving.

"Stop." A loud commanding voice orders the man to stop in his tracks. The man turns around to face Hina, leaning against her, mace, "Now that I have your attention, I have some things I want to talk with you about." She continues.

The man groans before spinning around and ignoring Hina, "That's fine, but I'm your only way of avoiding being in a prison cell for the rest of your life." She states.

That grabs the man's attention, and he turns again, "What do you mean?" Hina flashes a toothy grin and stands up straight.

"Simply, you attacked two heroes, so assault, plus your group is wanted for a bunch of things," Hina holds out two fingers, then continues her argument, "You're severely hurt, both your arms are destroyed, so fighting is out of the question. Finally, this place is crawling with police and heroes, and I doubt you can sneak out of here."

"Why do you want to help me?" He asks; Hina plants her mace into a nearby wall, then cracks her knuckles and steps up.

"Originally, I was just going to kick your ass for hurting my student and let the cops handle you, but after you stated your reasons and why you joined, I changed my mind because you seemed like too good an asset to lose." Hina slaps the man's right arm, but he doesn't flinch.

"I placed two healing patches on your arm. They're from our medic she prepared for this day, so they're extra-powerful, and you should be able to fight again." The man starts to regain the feeling of his hand, seeing that Hina is telling the truth.

Hina readies herself, doing a couple of stretches, "Come at me!"

Current day

Everyone is preparing for the school festival, so classes have been canceled so the students can make this the best festival ever, leaving Hina without much to do, so she's getting to the work that's been piling up for some time now, "Uggh, this is going to a take a while." Hina says to herself while removing one of her hip jugs and placing it on the table for quick access.

After a couple of hours, Hina has almost gotten through her work, "Excuse me, Hina," When Cortney pokes her head from around the door carrying a prop great sword on her back with the blade being as big as her torso.

"Yes?" Hina says, happiness spilling through her words as a distraction has come to break her away from her boring work, and she's almost out of alcohol.

"A man is asking for you, and he's at the front gate waiting." Cortney points to where the gate is. Hina gets up with a yawn and a loud pop.

"Thanks for telling me. Tell him I'll be there in a second. I need to organize my stuff," Hina tells Cortney, who nods and goes to tell the man she's coming.

Once Hina is done, she makes her way to the front gate where she's greeted by the clans' newest recruit, tossing his old clan's clothes and plague doctor mask, now donning the Miasma clans' signature black suits and glasses; his old metal padded gauntlets have been thrown out in favor for a simple pair of gloves. His arms are covered in bandages, still recovering from his last fight.

Hina launches a jab into Rappa's stomach, forcing her fist to sink in deep, forcing the man who was able to tank a fully charged punch from Fatgum and still stand hunch over; when his head is in lines with Hina's, she whispers into his ear, "I told you what would happen if you ever visited me at school without calling me ahead of time, didn't I?" Rappa gasps and wheezes for air as Hina's fist continues to dig deeper, like a toy having the air squeezed out of it.

"Amallie..has...called..for...you." Rappa gasps. Hina pulls back her arm, sighing, "Tell her I'm coming but taking a stop at the shop first. She'll know what I mean." Rappa falls to his knees, weakly giving a thumbs up as well as taking a deep gulp of air, slipping past the man.

A couple of minutes later, Hina and Rappa are walking when Rappa suddenly asks, "Hey Hina, why you join?"

"None of your fucking business." She angrily retaliates, Rappa backs down, ending the conversation, trying to avoid being punched again. He follows behind until they reach a small bar called the Hungover Oni with a sign sporting a picture of an oni fallen on their back holding a sake bottle with stars swirling above their head. It's then that Rappa remembers hearing some of the other members talking about this place, but he wasn't interested since he's not a drinker.

Hina has quietly entered with the sound of a bell singling a customer, he quickly runs in behind. Inside are a bunch of off-duty clan members in normal clothes with regulars mixed in as well. The place is reminiscent of a bar in America than Japan; a few members are watching tv, a few are playing pool, and a few are sitting on stools at the front counter.

The person operating the counter is a young lady sharing similar features to Hina, not sporting her bulk nor size, being a few meters shorting than her but still tall in her own right. Her horns are just peeking from her hair, ending in round tips rather than Hina's sharp ends.

"Hey, sis," The women greet each other before Hina heads to a locked door, pulling out a key and walking through. Rappa takes a seat at the counter, waiting for Hina to come out.

"What can I get for you, sir?" The woman asks as she places a glass in front of him, walking up to the liquor wall, then picking up a bottle, shaking it, then putting it back down, making the contents of the bottle clean, revealing the clans' symbol telling him that she is with the clan.

"She seemed pissed," The woman shoots a glare at Rappa, "What you do?" He scratches his head, "I asked why she joined." He answers truthfully.

"Me." Rappa is taken aback at her response; she looks at the door, signing, "Our mother died of liver cancer, and dad was killed in a car accident. I was only in the 8th grade when we lost both our parents, and I broke down. And could you blame me? A child having grief over both their parents being gone and having nowhere to go, I didn't have the strength to go on, I stopped going to school, locked myself in my room, and just sat in bed. Slowly chocking out my last bit of hope and happiness left. Accepting death."

The barmaid stops her story from reaching under the counter to pull out a folding stool for herself before continuing, "Had it not been for Hina. She sat by my door, talking to me, trying to get me to come out and talk with her. She was my lifeline at this fragile tipping point of my life. Day by day, night by night, she'd be there, never leaving for more than a moment, her voice was my only comfort in this world. Nearly a full year passed before I finally opened the door, accompanied by the loving hug of Hina, being the first time I felt warmth in the longest time. I remember both of us falling to the floor with tears trailing down our faces. Hina helped me get my life back together, but she gave up hers. She started working the bar and doing odd jobs to keep the lights on and make sure I was fed. I wanted to do something, but I couldn't...until she came."

It's a very dark night, the streets are empty, and the bar lacks customers again. Hina signs as she once again will be stuck doing another job to keep the lights. Right as she's about to close, a young Amallie walks through the door, not yet sporting her signature neck scar. She takes a seat at the counter, "Surprise me."

Hina grabs a few bottles and mixes up a cocktail, then passes it to her, Amallie swirls the drink around before taking a sip. She lets the drink rest on her tongue, grabbing the glass and slamming the rest down in one gulp, "I'd like to buy your bar." Amallie offers.

"Get the fuck out, and never come back." Hina kicks the woman out, but she doesn't budge, so Hina is about to grab her when a sudden gust of wind passes by her cheek, one of the glasses behind her is slashed in half now the woman is holding a sword.

"Will you please listen to my offer at least?" Amallie tries to defuse the situation before it gets too out of hand, Hina knows she's outmatched if they fight and listen to what she has in store.

Present

"You can peace the rest together, right?" The woman stops there as Hina finishes up whatever she was doing, walking to the other side of the bar. Hina singles him to follow her as they walk out of the bar, Rippa nows has a new understanding of Hina and now knows what he wants to do.
