''So do you have any clan children in your class?'' Katrina asks as she takes a sip of her tea.

Sakura nods. ''A lot. We have a lot of heirs and heiresses in my class. Hinata Hyuga, Ino Yamanaka, Shikemaru Nara, Shino Aburame and Uchiha Sasuke.''

''You have an Uchiha in your class?'' Sophie asks. ''Aren't they...'' She begins but then looks unsure if she should say that out loud.

''Arrogant, prideful, dangerous. '' Katrina waves with her hand. Sakura's eyes narrow. ''Well Sasuke is very nice when you get to know him.''

The women's eyes widen. ''He is one of your friends?''

Sakura looks at her mother and nods.

''Well that is unexpected. I didn't they would be friends with a civilian born. I mean they are so proud of their clan and powers.'' Katrina responds.

''Aren't all clans.'' Mary huffs.

''That is true.'' Katrina agrees.

''But the Uchiha have those red eyes.'' Sophie argues.

''And the Hyuga can spy on you through the walls of your own house. I really hope none of them are perverts. Do you know what a disaster that would be.'' Katrina exclaims. Mary nods.

''Please don't say that to my child.'' Mebuki interrupts.

''And what about the Yamanaka clan? I heard they have weird mind powers. What if they read your mind?'' Mary asks. Sakura gets annoyed. Ino would never do that without reason. But she cannot fault the woman for thinking that. The clans don't talk about their jutsu's and the civilians are afraid of the strength of the clans.

''No one is allowed to use any jutsu without permission during spars. That also isn't allowed for a long time since everyone is just learning things.'' She explains.

Katrina hums.

''Still. The Uchiha you know...'' Sophie begins eyeing Sakura.

''Just spit it out, the kid wants to be a ninja, a little gossip won't hurt her.'' Katrina says.

''Well rumour has it they are behind the nine tails attack.''

''I heard that too!'' Katrina agrees. ''They said only their red eyes could control the beast and they were the only ones who didn't fight against the fox!''

Well they are not wrong. Sakura thinks. It was Obito Uchiha who did it but it was not the clans idea.

''They?'' Sakura asks eyes looking innocent.

''Shinobi.'' Katrina answers.

''Since when do you trust shinobi?'' Mebuki interjects. ''You are always complaining about them.''

''I don't complain for nothing.'' Katrina defends herself.

''But why only the Uchiha? Mary said that the Yamanaka clan has mind powers. Couldn't they have controlled the nine tails mind?'' Sakura asks.

Sorry Ino for putting your clan in a bad light.

Katrina blinks. ''Well...I guess? They didn't say anything about that?''

''And if it is their red eyes couldn't someone have stolen the eyes from one of them and used those?'' Sakura continues.

Her mother and Sophie look sick at her words.

''I did hear the rumour that that friend killer, Kakashi Hatake, had gotten a hold of a sharigan.'' Katrina responds in thought. ''I guess shinobi do die on missions so it should in theory be possible.''

''Don't they have anything to prevent that?'' Sophie asks.

Katrina rolls her eyes. ''The Uchiha aren't the Hyuga. They don't use a slave seal.''

''Slave seal?'' Sophie asks shocked.

Katrina nods. ''I heard that-''

''You cannot just accuse a clan of slavery Katrina.'' Mary interrupts.

''But we can accuse the Uchiha of the nine tails attack?'' Mebuki responds, raising an eyebrow.

''No we cannot just do that either.'' She says as she looks at Katrina and Sophie. Katrina just shrugs.

''But then why weren't they help attacking the fox?'' Sophie says.

''They were helping the civilians evacuate and protected them. '' Mary finishes her tea. ''My niece was saved by one of them.

''I didn't know that.'' Sophie responds and Katrina nods. ''That does put things in a different perspective. No one ever told me that. Maybe I should ask some people about that.''

''We shouldn't say such things about the Uchiha after all they are the only ones who help us civilians when we have a dispute with a shinobi.'' Mary says.

''Well they try, but the other clans also don't think to highly of them.'' Katrina notes.

''Sakura.'' Mebuki begins as she addresses her daughter. ''Just like people shouldn't judge you for being civilian born you shouldn't judge people for the clan they were born in. You should just get to know them. If I judged your father at first glance I wouldn't have married him.''

''Haha.'' The other women laugh. ''That is true I still remember the time you guys first met.''

Author's note

Sorry if it seems forced but I still have to Kick the plot. This chapter, last chapter and next chapter actually were supposed to be one chapter but it would have gotten much too long. This chapter on its own could have been split too but I decided to not do that. The manga I read was My next life as a villainess: All routes lead to doom! I think it is really funny. I used the names from that manga because I couldn't come up with others and I love that manga.
