Episode 10: On the Run Part 2

Back in the Great Forest, The Iron Dominion along with the Yagyu Clan and Dark Egg Legion. They figure that they need to do something before more trouble arrives.

Tails nervously says, "Sonic! You can't take on the entire Iron Dominion by yourself."

"I'm not, Tails," Sonic says.

Then turns to the Ninja, "According to Monkey Khan… There are three whole other ninja clans not here, and the whole Dark Egg Legion hasn't shown up, either. So I'm barely up against any of the Iron Dominion. How many here, queenie? Hundred… max?"

The Iron Queen laughs and says," My! The weeks grow overconfident when cornered. I've driven you from my city once already and attacked yours without consequences. You're doomed, little hedgehog!"

"Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Tails, get the Doc back to New Mobotropolis," Sonic says.

Tails asks, "Are you sure?"

"Yeah!" Sonic answers.

And zips past the Iron King and the Ninja. He then strikes at the hovercraft the Yagyu Clan ninja are on.

Once he's done, he says, "... I've got this."

As spin dashes at the enemies he says, "Just heads up, guys. I had this evil double one. Conquered his whole world on his own. Want to see what happens if I let loose like that?"

Tails pulls Sonic away from the scene as he says, "Mmmph! Sonic gets to have all the fun…"

Back in New Mobotropolis, Sally Sonia, and Manic re walking round the city.

Suddenly, Ken calls out, "Wait up!"

Sally turns to see Ken and laughs, "Ken?" I thought Dr. Quack ordered you to rest."

"Oh, but I'm just out for some fresh air. What could be wrong with that?" Ken questions with a grin.

Sonia rolls her eyes with a smile, "Fine, fine, but you have to deal with him later."

"Are you busy? I was hoping we might be able to… I don't know, talk a bit?" Ken replies.

"I would like that, but Nicole detected something on the outskirts of the Great Forest. Sally, Manic, and I are on our way to meet up with Sonic and…" Sonia says.

But soon sees the young flying fox carrying the unconscious mad doctor.

"Tails?!" Sally says, shocked.

"Can someone help me? Please? I feel like my tiles are going to pop off," Tails asks, still dragging him Dr. Eggman.

Then collapses on the ground. Ken and Manic pick up Eggman while Sally and Sonia help Tails.

"What happened?" Sally asks.

Tails pants as he says, "It was Eggman… and then the new bad guys… showed up and tried to catch us.

Ken and Manic continue to help each other carry Eggman.

Ken grits his teeth and says, "Then let's finish him now and rescue Sonic."

"No… this works better with him s our prisoner. We'd have the true head of the Eggman Empire and some way over the Sub-bosses broad," Sally answers.

"Make sense. Ken and I will hall him off to the prison," Manic says.

"Yes. Thank you guys. Then get some rest, Ken," Sally says.

Then turns her head, "Nicole?"

Nicole appears before Sally, "Yes, Sally?"

"Prep cell for our 'guest. Then get our active Freedom Fighters and transport.'We have cavalry charge to make!" Sally answers.

Meanwhile, Sonic is having a fight against the Iron Dominion. More like having lot of fun.

Sonic laughs, "Ha! Ha! Ha! Come on, guys! I thought ninja were supposed to be fast."

The ninja try to attack, but Sonic is just too fast for them.

This makes the Iron Queen furious, "No no no! It's Mont Stormtop all over again! Only I'm dealing with this hedgehog!"

"A minor set-back, my love, I promise you!" Snively nervously says.

But she shouts, "I will not accept your usual record of failure! I DEMAND VICTORY!"

Then turns to the Dominion ,"Stop standing idly by and finish this, Jun Kun!"

"Jun-?" Sonic says confused.

But soon, he ends up hitting the Iron King's armor.

Sonic lands on the ground and says, "Oh, you. I always figure 'Iron King was your name, y'know. Considering my friends…"

Jun-Kun rises his hammer in the air, "Face my tremor mace with honor, hedge-swine!"

Jun-Kun tries to strike at Sonic, but the hedgehog continues to dodge the attack.

Sonic speeds towards him she says, "You're on, Iron-Clod! Swing batta batta batta!"

Sonic then spin dashes towards the Iron King, but he strikes at Sonic like a baseball. Then skids to the ground.

"Right… no wonder Eve says you're someone worth worrying about…" Sonic mutters.

Jun-Kun then grabs Sonic from his back and lifts him up.

Then the Iron King says, "None can compare with the power of the Iron King."

The Iron Queen claps her hands and says, "Well done, my kind. The so-called 'Hero of Mobius' will be subtle trade for the crazy old man."

Snively simply huffs and crosses his arms with jealousy.

Suddenly, someone says, "That's assuming you can keep him."

"Who dares?!" The Iron King demands with rage.

Sonic smirks and says, "The ones who let me get way with all my beginning half the time."

Arriving on the scene re Sally, Antoine, Amy, Sonia, and Tails who is driving the hovercraft.

Sally calls out, "Hit 'em hard and hit 'em fast, Freedom Fighters! First move… Bail out!"

Tails then drives the hovercraft at Jun Kun, and the group quickly jump out before it rams at him. Sonic is lso ble to escape.

The Iron King is angry now, "Fools! I m invulner-"

But my and Antone attack.

Tails is able to grab Sonic and fly him in the air, "Let's give them the old one-two!"

Tails then spins round in the air with Sonic and throws him, "One!"

Sonic then bashes t the Iron Quen's hovercraft.

He then bashes at Snively's hovercraft, saying, "Two!"

Sonic then lands on the ground and says, "That was fun! Let's do it gin!"

"Let's not push our luck. Back to the city!" Sally says.

Hearing that, the Freedom Fighters begin to fall back towards the city.

Jun-Kun begins to chase them, "You will pay for marring my armor!"

"Forget them! Help me!" The Iron Queen calls out.

The Iron King turns over and quickly catches the hovercraft with the Iron Queen on it. At the same time, the hovercraft Snively is one, crashes to the ground.

The Iron Queen stands up and shouts in rage, "Get up! GET UP! AFTER THEM!"

Antoine turns his head to see the Iron Dominion is now chasing them.

"Zey re giving the chase!" Antoine panics.

"Oh no! If only one of us… was incredibly fast!" Sonic dramatically says.

Then says, "Oh wit!"

Sonic then picks up Sally and zips her back to the city. Then she does Amy. Next Sonic takes Tails into the city, and then Sonia. At the same time, Antoine is running the fast he can as the enemy is catching up.

Sonic then reaches Antoine, "I men, since we're ll so slow and everything…"

"You re not funny and I m bout to be smash-ed," Antoine panics.

Sonic then grabs Antoine dips into the city. Then Nicole uses her technology to close the city's entrance and place the protective shield round it.

Sonic says, "Whew. Close one!"

The Iron King rises his club and shouts with rage, "You will not deny me!"

Then he bangs his club t Nicole's forcefield, making loud 'whoom' sound. Sonic and Nicole, not to mention everyone else cover their ears from ll the banging.

"Well me?" Sonic questions.

"Yes, we will. The shield is holding just fine. I'm getting that weird distortion… in my Matrex, though."

"Unless you're getting headache from ll that banging," Topaz says.

"Sheesh! That guy can hit hard," Leon says.

Molly says, "My ears re hurting from all that banging."

Sally walks to Nicole and asks, "Should Rotor run diagnostic on you?"

"No no. I'm fine, and we're safe. I promise," Nicole answers.

Bunnie and Ken walk over on the scene.

"Well, now. It looks like we're even," Ken says.

"Sho'nuff," Bunnie says.

Ken and Bunnie then make smirks on their faces.

"A sure-ire victory blown up in your face…" Ken says.

"Nd city invasion denied. So why don't y'll just call it day?" Bunnie replies.

The Iron Dominion aren't pleased bout it one bit.

The Iron Queen angrily says, "You will pay for this insult. You will pay most dearly. We will recede for now."

With that the Iron Dominion take their leave.

Menwhile, Snively is trying to reach them, "W-w-wait… I just caught up…"

But The Iron Dominion walk right past them.

Later on in the Detention Center, Sonic decides to Visit Eggman who is trapped in the cell. It has bed, desk, chair, long with pencils, paper, and other stuff.

Eggmn sees Sonic and asks, "Sir Charlies?"

"No. His nephew," Sonic corrects him.

"h, yes. Be good boy round the lab, and I promise I'll find way to help you. Isn't it so nice that the Great War is over… war… over." Eggman says.

Suddenly, his mood change, "Wit… if the war is over. Who re you?"

"Sonic," Sonic answers.

"H, so I missed well. How do you like the smoldering carter that is your kingdom. Your majesty?!" Eggman says, and begins to laugh.

Then his mood change gin s he asks, "Ahh…?" Mobian? I'm in captivity? Did I already defect?"

"Yeah," Sonic says, irritated.

Then says, "It's the Great War, and you're in protective custody."

" good, good! I supposed I'll rest up for my audience with the king," Eggman says.

Then he falls sleep, making Sonic sigh in reply. Sonic then walks away from the cell to notice Monkey Khan is there.

Sonic smiles and asks, "Yo, MK, what's up?"

However, Ken has a firm expression on his face and asks, "Why?"

"Why what?" Sonic says, confused.

Ken then confronts Sonic, "Why do you show that man mercy? He wiped out my village and ruined my life. He nearly destroyed everything you know and love time and time gin. He's monster unlike anything this world has ever known."

Then turns to the cell, "And you merely lock him way. You showed him sympathy, understanding… how?! How can you do that?!"

Sonic shrugs his shoulders, skeptic, "I dunno I guess I move too fast to have time to be all vengeful and stuff. I just do what's right at the time. My sister is the same."

Soon, there is a silence between the two. Then they both leave the prison together.

"You're either zen master or a fool. But you're impressive either way," Ken says.

"Thanks, I think. and thanks. For helping Bunnie get her little victory today. That was cool," Sonic says.

"It was the least I could do," Ken says.

Back in the Eggdome, Snively is knocking on the door to the Iron Queen's room.

Snively calmly asks, "Regina? Sweetie? you mad at me?"

The Iron Queen slightly opens the door, and she is definitely in a bad mood.

She angrily says, "If you ever want to enter my chamber again, you will find a way past that shield."

Then slams the door on him.

Meanwhile, back in the Egg Dome, inside the Dimitri's hidden lb. Dimitri has another paper messaged down and placed it in a small robotic bird. He works on the controls until he has it sent outside of the lb through air vent. Dimitri does hope it will get to the destination undetected. Just then, Lien-Da walks inside after being called by him.

Lien-Da walks over and asks, "You sent for me?"

"Yes. I need to update you on the situation of the explosives Dr. Eggmn installed in our cybernetics," Dimitri says.

Lien-Da looks t the box, "But the Iron Queen gave us these chips to bypass the activation signal we would be immune to the detonator."

"Bah!" Dimitri says in anger.

Then shuts the box, "We would, but they would also make us completely susceptible to her technomagic! We would be her mindless slaves!"

He then picks up one of the chips, "I've spent what time I can trying to modify them, to see if I can build some kind of resistance. So far, I've only succeeded with this one chip."

Lien-Da places her hand under her chin, "But what if we were in control? If we modified this one further and distributed the others untouched. We could use it to overrule her magic and control the entire legion with just thought."

"In theory, but I would never do that to my people," Dimitri says.

Suddenly, the glass orb shatters and lose control of his his dreadlocks. Then falls on the table.

Dimitri struggles, unable to move his dreadlocks, "Wh-what happened?"

"I overloaded your system…" Lien-Da says, and takes the chip Dimitri has.

Then places it in her own dreadlock, "So I could get some work done. Like modifying the command chip and installing it in myself!"

Then yelps after placing the chip in her cybernetic dreadlock.

"No!" Dimitri protests, "I need to map out the modifications so I can change the rest of the chips!"

"No, I prefer having total control of my people, thank you," Lien-Da says, putting Dimitri on his head.

She then leaves s Dimtiri struggles to move, but is stuck on the table.

He glares at Lien-Da, "Blast you, Lien-Da! Why can't I move?!"

"I disengaged your tendrils and hover bubble, grandfather. Do try to keep it down, we don't want to cause stir," Lien-Da says, walking over with box metal box.

Dimitri struggles to move as he shouts, "Don't do this! Don't betray your people! Don't betray the remaining of your family!"

Lien-Da then picks Dimitri up, "And remain second best for the rest of my life? To take orders until the day I die? I think not, Dimitri."

Lien-Da then places Dimitri in the box she has brought.

Dimitri shouts, "No, you're not thinking. The Iron Queen will still…"

But Lien-Da interrupts him, "Be defeated one day, yes. I know. And then I will be in perfect position to led my people to glory."

Before closing the box, Lien-Da says, "Don't worry! You won't suffocate! Your better will just go dry in a few months. Think small thoughts!"

Dimitri continues to shout, "You can't do this to your own kin! Lien-Da?! Lien-Da?!"

But Lien-Da closes the box and then places it on top of one of the other boxes, blending it in with the other supplies.

"You really shouldn't have hidden your lb so well. I doubt even Snively could have you now. Ta ta!"

Later on, in the throne room of the Egg Dome.

Lien-Da informs the Iron Queen the 'disappointing' news, "... and I've found no sign of him. I can only assume Dimitri has fled."

"How disappointing. Who will distribute those liberating microchips I gave him?" The Iron Queen replies.

Lien-Da answers, "I've already had them installed in all of the Legionnaires, your majesty."

The Iron Queen chuckles and says, "Excellent! Such dutifulness deserves reward."

Then says, " rise, my new commander of the Dark Egg Legion! Rise, Grandmaster Lien-Da!"

Lien-Da simply smiles to know that she has finally obtain something she's been obsessed with for so long, control and leadership of the Dark Legion.
