"I'm gonna ask Sam about online school, I can't bear to go to Hollywood arts anymore, if I'm the cancer at school might as well cut myself out of it" says Tori
2 days later at school
"hey where's Tori" asks Andre
"hmmmm I wonder if you guys being mean to her had anything to do with her leaving Hollywood Arts" says Jade angrily
"whoa really" asks Beck
"yup, she was just beginning to realize she loved Cat, you guys started treating her like she was gonna get you guys sick, Cat made a mistake in asking me out and made Tori depressed, she's admitted her mistake" says Trina
"but she still needs to graduate, what about her job" asks Beck
"quit her job and switched to online school, gave all the money she was making from her job to our dad for groceries and she told me she basically plans to never leave the house, the only upside is she lets Cat visit and cuddle with her" says Trina
"that's good" says Robbie
"nuh uh, she insists she's a cancer to us and cancer doesn't deserve friends or love, it doesn't matter how many times I tell her I love her, her response is 'you can't love a cancer', YOU guys broke her before I could fix her, you need to FIX her, I'm gonna go talk to Lane" says Cat

"how do I fix Tori, please I'll do anything" says Cat
"Cat, as much as I'd love to get the star of the school back here, you've done everything you could, you made a mistake and apologized for it, she asked me what she should do, I told her to follow her heart" says Lane
"she says she's a cancer and doesn't deserve friends or love" cries Cat
"that would have happened regardless I'm afraid, she built her entire identity on being straight" says Lane
"I didn't have a hard time adjusting" says Cat confused
"your family doesn't have what hers has, just because they don't believe in it doesn't mean it doesn't matter, when she realized she was bi her entire identity shattered, culture, way of life, that kind of thing, as far as she's concerned she doesn't have any single frame of reference to rebuild her identity besides you" says Lane
"ok so what's the problem, how can I fix her" asks Cat
"she's afraid that if she rebuilds around you then that's all her life will be about, you, in her mind none of her culture makes sense anymore, the only common link to her past is you" says Lane
"I don't understand" says Cat
"she doesn't feel like she should have to be told what being herself is or what growing up half Latina means, she feels like she should know what it means" says Lane

"Cat I know you're smart enough to understand but let's put it this way, her head and heart are fighting, her heart is telling her to kiss you and be loved but her brain is telling her she's insane and that your feelings for her are just a phase and if she kisses you she will lose you" says Lane

"go be with Tori, I'll come up with some reason you're leaving school early, I'm gonna sign you up for online school" says Lane

"she's at a serious risk of self harm Cat, what's your priority, talking with people or making sure the girl you love is ok" says Lane
"didn't know I could actually choose her over attending school in person" says Cat
"normally you can't, however since I know you guys have feelings for each other I talked about it with VP Dickers and while he has his issues with you guys the letter you wrote him touched his heart and he said and I quote 'I may not understand them but love is the strongest bond a person can make and everyone deserves that' I was as shocked as you look Cat that he said that but since that letter he's been a bit more understanding" says Lane
"it was Tori's idea, she had went on about how he seems so lonely and how maybe nobody had ever thanked him or wrote a letter… that's it I'm gonna write her a letter, she may not believe my spoken words but she can't deny my written ones, also you got anything that can make me feel sick" says Cat
"Robbie tried out this new cologne yesterday that made Gabriella sick so I had to confiscate it" says Lane
"I'm getting sick just at the thought of him trying to smell good, anyway bye" says Cat as she covers her mouth on the way to the bathroom
At home
"hey Tori I wrote you a letter, please read it" says Cat handing Tori the letter
"it's not gonna change how I feel about you Cat, nothing can" says Tori
"I get it you hate me for choosing Trina after you broke my heart sue me, please just read it" says Cat as she runs off to her bed
"Cat I….., ugh why can't I just be normal" says Tori
After school as Trina arrives home
"hey Cat where's Tori" asks Trina
"in her room crying her eyes out at the letter I wrote laying out my feelings, I tried to go in and comfort her but she just screamed at me to get out, I don't know if I like this version of her" says Cat
"trust me her being bi or gay isn't new to her, she went through the confusion in third grade when this girl names Ashley kissed her cheek, she told me she liked it but wanted to be normal so she literally lied to Ashley to save their friendship, then Ashley moved away and Tori literally acts like she never existed" says Trina
"so you know what's going on in her head then" asks Cat
"fear, pain and self-hate, painful memories, if you truly love my sister Cat, if you don't love her at her worst you won't love her at her best… omg I'm quoting Tori at this point" says Trina
"wait Tori says that?" asks Cat
"we may not get along that much but when I talked about getting rejected she'd always say 'if they don't love you now Trin they won't love you when you grow beyond where you are now', she basically implied I was at my worst right now" says Trina
"what's Ashley look like" asks Cat
"this beautiful swiss girl who didn't speak English, actually now that I think of it kinda a blonde you, actually to be honest Tori didn't speak English at the time either" says Trina
"what does her Spanish sound like" asks Cat
"very cute actually, also kinda different, after you fell asleep last night she started speaking Spanish, something to the effect of 'aww she's my little sweetie' though she could have called you something different, I'm not that great at Spanish" says Trina
"all I know is when I woke up I was between her legs with my ponytail right on her area, she didn't say anything and actually seemed to smile" says Cat
"if that's the case then she's warming up to you sleeping in the same bed as her which is rare for her, a word of advice, when she screams at you to leave her alone, just don't, she's trying to justify her self hate, give her all the love she deserves, she deserves nothing less" says Trina
