"ok I understand you are here to represent miss Samantha Puckett and Carly Shay in the matter of human rights do I have that correct" says Judge Carlos Ferguson
"I am sir, they are paying rent for an apartment together that is too cold to live in, they were not aware of that fact upon signing the lease" says Tori as she clicks her tongue involuntarily
"I see here they called maintenance several times, did maintenance ever show up" asks Judge Carlos
"no your honour they did not, Cat Valentine who is Victoria's girlfriend has a security camera at her front door and Samantha and Carly live right across from them, no maintenance worker has ever shown up, their phone records show they were always told the system is fine and that they're lying" says Jenna Heart
"ok then if the landlord won't step in and didn't warn them of the issue I will order him to live there for two weeks, have Sam and Carly take all their personal items out of the apartment and temporarily house them in Cat's house, as well as all personally paid for space heaters as per their receipts on file, he will also be ordered to refund their rent payments for as long as they've been living in that cold apartment" says Judge Carlos
"what if he try and argue her police record proves she lies and refuses" asks Tori
"I'm well aware of miss Puckett's record, doesn't mean she deserves to live in a place with no heat or cooling, she's served her time, unfortunately this isn't the first time I've dealt with this guy, if he tries to wiggle his way out of it I can order him to sell the complex, he's ripped enough people off, charging rehabbed drug users triple normal rent, he's told jury after jury it was a genuine mistake charging people triple or double, said he used the wrong file, but they've always had heat, this crosses a line" says Judge Carlos
"so he's done this before" asks Tori
"plenty, the LA local judges punted this to me the moment they saw his name, they're fed up dealing with him, I don't play games with repeat offenders, I'm a supreme court judge here in California, if he tries to play games them he can put the rights to the property on the line" says Judge Carlos
"that's not normally how that works" says Jenna heart
"I'm well aware but if he didn't have loads of money he'd have been in jail by now, I don't like people who bend the law to their will just because they have money, the law is for everyone to use and abide by" says Judge Carlos
"in my view judge he's praying on Carly, she's autistic and is afraid of confrontation, which means Carly would rather Sam cave and not do what's right and get them heat, which is exactly what she's done, every time Sam called maintenance she was heading to work or just leaving work, Carly was homeless for six months so she'd just be happy to have a place to live, so in her eyes a house with no heat is better than being thrown out onto the streets because of a squabble with the landlord" says Jenna
"also I might add they're only recently a couple and the lack of heat forced them to have sex before they were ready for it, they needed the heat that badly when they moved in, they wanted to wait till valentines day to do it and running the oven on high for longer than an hour is a fire risk, they didn't have any other choice, they needed that heat and Sam had yet to get enough money after paying first and last to afford even a single space heater" says Tori
"the issue had been brought up that Tori could have paid for it but Carly always shot her offers down" says Jenna
"ok I will write up the court orders after you guys leave, when they're done I will call you Jenna so you can make it official" says Judge Carlos
2 days Later
"I can't believe you roped a judge into making me do this, we all know the heat is gonna work" says Lucas(complex owner)
"nope, see the judge had his people check at maintenance and our heat was shut off the day Sam and Carly signed the lease after a call with you, he has ordered that your order stay in place" says Jenna
"is there any way I can get out of this" asks Lucas
"ya you hand over your deed to the complex, see I did some digging, three other tenants complained about heat problems, that any time they turned on their lights their A/C would turn on full blast, funny that all three of them are African American couples with autistic children, so either you hand over the deed to the complex property or live for two weeks in their freezing apartment, which is it gonna be Lucas" says Jenna as Lucas sighs
"I'll go get the deed" says Lucas as he heads to his truck
4 days later
"wow this place is looking nice" says David as he stops by to check in on Spencer
"surprised how all the tenants adore me, turns out all you have to do is care about the people around you, I was gonna lower normal rent level but decided to bundle heat and hydro into the rent price and keep it the same, now everyone has the same rent, Carly is the maintenance supervisor, so she has a paying job now" says Tori
"wait so you own the venice complex now?" asks David
"yup, turns out the former owner Lucas decided that he didn't want to get his thing stuck to the toilet seat or have to sleep in a bed that was basically frozen for two weeks by court order, after Jenna my lawyer found three other tenants, African American and with autistic children, the judge burned red with anger over the blatant racism and told me Lucas had a choice, either live in the cold or sign over the deed to the property. He chose the later. His last act as owner was to refund the tenants that had been forced to live in the cold for as long as they had been forced to do so, one couple got two years worth of rent back, the second couple got a years worth back, the third got six months back" says Jenna
"I love getting calls from my neighbors while Sam's at work, the three African American tenants generally call me for autistic advice, which I happily give, all three are girls, they say things their parents don't understand, so I talk to the kids for a bit and translate" says Carly
"none have come onto you right? asks David as Tori goes for a nap
"god no, three days ago there were a few yes but once I said I only liked girls they thanked me for letting them know and apologized for crossing a line, two of them are my age and were more so just excited as they are fans of my old webshow and they got carried away" says Carly
"you sure they weren't being too careful" asks David
"the whole complex knows I'm autistic now, most have kids that are fans, I told the guys there is a line and if they cross it I call the cops" says Carly
"what did you tell the girls" asks David
"all but one I told the line rule thing, this one girl is the daughter of a tenant but has a daughter of her own and the girl is Sam and I's age, the kid is two, I've always wanted a kid and her daughter is so freaking adorable" says Carly
"so you're starting a relationship with her then, does she have a boyfriend" asks David acting very fatherly
"no he left her when he got her pregnant, Sam and I were up front about how we felt about her and while she is kinda responding by asking if she can come over with her daughter for a few hours daily since I took over maintenance she hasn't actually asked to start anything and she's coming over again today, Sam managed to afford a day off work, she's been trying to get as many shifts as she can to save up for a gift for my birthday" says Carly as Alison walks over
"hey cutie can me and Julie come in to your house and talk in private with Sam" says Alison as Carly nods and heads to her apartment
"oooh she's about to get the kiss of her life" says Jenna
"how can you tell" asks David
"Alison has that sparkle in her eye I see Tori have before she kisses Cat or Ashley, plus her ex got her pregnant and then left her over it, I also spoke to her parents, they asked about the legality of a relationship between Alison and Carly and Sam because Carly works as the maintenance manager, so I told them as long as Alison doesn't use the relationship to get Tori or Carly to bend the rules for them there isn't really anything wrong with it" says Jenna
"you think Alison asked them to ask that, also I remember that case, tried to get her to kill the baby or he'd spread the naked images they took as a couple on the internet, dude lost easily, he's serving seven years in prison for assault and abuse" says David
"I guarantee Alison did, if I were ever in a similar situation where I knew full well I'd be loved and invited in with open arms, I'd want to make damn sure I wasn't breaking any laws or rules, I spent six years in law school getting two degrees and no guy or girl will touch me, the only person to even jokingly make a move on me is my twin sister Sabrina and she only did it because she wanted to lower the tension because we share an apartment and whenever her girlfriend visits her girlfriend leaves her clothes everywhere" says Jenna

"ok Julie go play with your toys, momma needs to have a talk" says Alison as Julie runs off to play with her toys
"this is either good or really bad" says Sam
"good I hope, look I've done some soul searching and whenever I think of true love you guys always pop into my head, I hope it's not weird because Carly's been watching Julie and I've never seen her fall asleep in anyone's arms but my own like ever" says Alison
"it's not weird Alison, we were up front about our feelings" says Sam
"ya but if my ex has taught me anything is that people can say that they love me and not mean it" says Alison
"trust me we mean it, we are not your ex, while you were at the grocery store getting groceries yesterday Julie curled right up to me, then she said 'nappy time', so I laid down on the couch, she laid on my stomach and used my boobs as a pillow, god I've never wanted a kid more than at that moment" says Carly

"absolutely Ally" says Carly as she kisses Alison
"in a heartbeat Ally, however you must promise to not use how we feel about you to get free stuff from Tori" says Sam as she kisses Alison then Cat
"I would never, I like her music but not enough to ruin a relationship for, why even suggest that" says Alison offended
"Sam had to make sure you knew where the line is, I know she sounds like she was being rude but she was just trying to be clear, she wasn't accusing you of anything, she just gets iffy around certain things" says Carly
"oh right like three and that guy who you wedgie bounced right" asks Alison understanding the issue now
"yeah my dad left my alcoholic mom when I was almost three and I don't like being used" says Sam
"I never knew my mom, she died within hours of my birth, all I have is pictures of her and a ring my dad said was uber special, cat wears the same ring" says Carly
"I heard rumors Cat's parents are banished royals" says Alison
"if she were a dog she'd be a pure bred Italian, she's basically a hundred percent Italian so the only royal she could be is Italian and they haven't been seen in four years" says Carly
"if I have my cat-ology correct that was the last time she was in Italy" says Alison
"yeah to celebrate her cousin Cassie's birthday and coming out party, wait a minute you think I'm an Italian royal…." says Carly
"I mean it would explain a lot, I mean Cassie was the one to give Cat that ring wasn't she, I mean maybe your mom was a Volenta" says Sam
"but Cat's seen the ring, why wouldn't she say anything to me" says Carly
"maybe she can't, I'd asked her a few times about her extended family and she always said she wished she knew, she's always doing things with her hands so I never thought to focus on them, that was till I asked one more time and focused on her hands, she was signing "royal blood", most Italians are really good at using their hands to emphasize meaning but she doesn't, clearly she has a reason to hide it and she does it so well" says Sam
"how did she react when she first saw the ring" asks Alison
"her eyes grew wide for a second, gave me a hug but didn't say a word, she did bite my ear lobe though" says Cally
"ok the ear biting thing is just a thing she does, same with bumping butts, very sexual yet she does it cause it's fun, she's legit oblivious to the fact that when she does it she has an effect on us, she's bipolar and autistic but still" says Sam
"does she still do the unconscious thing" asks Carly
"I mean you'd have to ask Tori but in my opinion you don't fake something like that, exaggerate a little yes but there is no way it's fake" says Sam as Tori crawls in
"ugh uhh guys can I stay here for a little bit, my head hurts" says Tori
"fall off your bed again, I swear I told you getting those bunk beds for making love was a bad idea" says Sam
"yeah I'm starting to see why but I just love being able to pin them to the ceiling, ya know, anyway I hit my head and now I can't stand up" says Tori
"Julie, doctor time" says Alison as Julie runs over to Tori
"Towi ned huggie and cuddie" says Julie as she leads Tori to the couch
"ok she's adorable also guys my name is Victoria Lucy Vega" says Tori
"so it's not Tori?" asks Carly
"no, tori is and was a nickname Ashley gave me way back when I first met her, the label knows my name is Victoria but wasn't gonna brand me as Victoria Vega unless I was ok with it, I haven't been called Victoria in years" says Tori
