"you know Cameron you are a hard person to find, we have someone we'd like your son to meet" says Vanessa as she pulls into the Venice Neighborhood
"my son is sixteen, also finding out your thirteen year old daughter died kinda makes you want to shrivel up and die, you know it wasn't my choice to put her there, we had money problems and couldn't get food stamps, the feds came and took her away" says Cameron
"trust me the girl we want your son to meet will make everything a little better" says Doug
"what is she gonna bring my sister back from the dead" asks James
"I wouldn't put it past her she's come a long way for this" says Doug as they pull into the Complex
"great my chances of losing two hundred dollars just went up" says James
"what the hell did you bet two hundred on" asks Cameron
"my crush bet me a hundred and a date that I'd get to meet the pink princess or Victoria Vega" says James
"Sabrina must have some sort of insider info if she was willing to bet a date and a hundred dollars on you meeting her idols" says Cameron
"see the problem is I doubled down" says James as they get out of the car
"what's so special about this place, it looks like a dump" says Cameron
"that's the point mom, this place has been called the Queens crux by Princess fans, easiest place to hide pop stars is someplace people of the area consider a dump, this is one of six queens cruxes, how did you find me anyway" says James
"tons of Princess fans in Anaheim, all I had to do was drive down the streets playing her music and asking anyone who assembled to dance if they knew where the Blacksmiths lived, word of mouth spread and we wanted ice-cream and a girl about your age James walked over to us said she heard we were looking for the blacksmiths, dang girl gave me your phone number and home address" says Vanessa as the "princess" walks out
"well hello there Vanessa and Doug, I see you brought friends, that's gonna cost ya" says Cat as she leads them to the apartment
"well there goes my money" says James
"kid you worry too much, there ain't no girly in the world who can resist my friends" says Cat as she opens the door to the apartment
"ok who's the girl, she looks familiar" says Cameron as they walk in
"well helylo there Cammie, or should I say susu" says Selena
"no way, my daughters friend, you found her" asks Cameron
"isn't hard to find my family in a mental facility dear and I wouldn't call her a friend" says Cat still keeping up the façade
"did my sister die alone and afraid" asks James
"Lucy neiter died alone nor afraid, she didn't even die unwoved" says Selena
"you liked her didn't you" asks James
"liked, loved and kithed" says Selena
"whoa slow your role Selena, my daughter was thirteen, way too young to be kissing" says Cameron as Victoria walks out
"too young I'd recon to die as well then Cameron, by your logic you expected her to die there alone, afraid and without knowing what love felt like" says Tori
"well no but i….." says Cameron
"mom please I'd have rather Lucy been gay and happy when she died than straight and sad, hell Sabrina could be trans fo all I care and I'd still love her" says James upset as Selena brings out some art
"I know dis not replace Lucy but I hope it help" says Selena as Cameron's jaw drops
"you guys really did bring her back to life, w-who did those drawings" asks Cameron dumbfounded
"my little sister Selena did, she'd been missing Lucy so she just started painting the day after she got here, trust me everyone in my family was surprised, my family is a family of business people and singers not artists" says Cat
"wait a second we know Selena is a Valentine, you Princess just outed yourself, I know who you are now Catarina Grace Valentine" says James
"and everything is going to plan isn't it Cat, tell him what he doesn't get if he tells our secret" says Tori
"Sabrina and a beautiful beach house in LA" says Cat
"wait she knew about this" asks James
"of course she did, she loves ya to pieces dude but couldn't get the nerve to ask you out, she knew you have a crush on her but she was really afraid to lose it all if she told you she liked you, she reached out to me to ask advice and as it happened I had a mission to bring peace to the blacksmiths family so I made a deal, she play along and dare you by putting a date on the line and I bring you, your mom and Sabrina to LA rent free" says Cat
"what's the catch" asks James
"you keep my identity a secret, I want my music to be about my music not a person" says Cat
"your music speaks volumes, it's changed lives Princess, mine included" says James
"how are we supposed to pay Los Angeles hydro or water if we couldn't afford it in Anaheim" says Cameron
"oh silly me did I forget to mention the government is paying out four million dollars to you Cameron, the FBI task force in charge of keeping kids out of danger took your daughter away from you on a tip that she was at risk of malnourishment, didn't look into why or how, they stole her from you, my lawyer has a team of people that talked to that task force leader, her first question was how could you let this girl die on your watch, they asked for proof and my lawyer handed them everything even the a copy of the death certificate which included a description of how she died, their faces went beet red then as pale as could be" says Cat
"so what happens to the facility" asks James
"it's not federal anymore nor LA, it's now owned by a sub-company of Valentine Cruise inc, with me at the head, silly little Cat Valentine, not pink princess, I diagnosed my sister, I realized the connection to why she was sent there and I was the one who got her out, the FBI figured since I was able to do from pure memory what doctors with direct access to Selena could not or would not do that I should run the facility, the only problem is I never wanted to be a doctor" says Cat
"do you need a trained doctor to help re-train the doctors" asks Cameron
"you were a doctor right you had Lucy and Alesha then your husband died and you lost your job" asks Cat
"h-h-how do you know about Alesha…" asks Cameron as she starts crying
"Lucy and Selena were very close even before they fell in love, Selena would just listen to Lucy talk for as long as the facility let them, which actually fostered the relationship between them, the doctors told them they could talk as long as they wanted with one another because it kept them out of trouble, all the doctors asked was that they be in bed when they were told to be, apparently the facility let them sleep in the same room after a bit for the same reason, it kept them out of trouble" says Cat
"that explains a lot, I'm just really really missing my sister" cries James
"the house you guys are getting is just down the road, Selena has assured me that if you miss your sister James you can always come by and cuddle with her, as long as it remains strictly cuddles because she spent so much time with Lucy that she feels she must take her place as it's the only thing that makes her whole" says Cat
"can I have a hug Selena" cries James
"course" says Selena as she makes James sit down and cuddles him the was Lucy cuddled her
"oh my God she even hugs the way Lucy did" says James tears still rolling down his face
"y-you guys have made my family whole again, I don't know how I can ever repay you Catarina" says Cameron
"I'll see how quickly I can ask the hospital to get you certified, the facility has many girls who could use some real attention" says Cat
"what have you implemented in what I can assume is at least a week of running it" asks Cameron
"I mean legally Cat Valentine aka me is still in school till June but I have my Music lawyer Jennabelle enforcing routine times for meals for all patients regardless of behaviour, what I'm hoping is getting them used to a routine for meals will help you or any full time doctors I hire figure out who has what" says Cat
"wait that's not how it worked before" asks Cameron surprised and shocked
"trust me I went nuts on them for that, if say Lucy had a bad day with her tourette's and she tic hit someone she'd have to wait three hours after everyone else to get food which unfortunately happened at minimum once a week which is very much why I asked for TWO payments of four million dollars to which the federal government has obliged to after some fighting, I spent about two hours in a senate hearing explaining the situation at the facility, that Lucy had tourette's and that she had been treated as if her tics were of her own volition and were not real" says Jennabelle
"did you make it well understood all that happened while under strict government control" asks James
"indeed I did, Selena is getting some money as well, about four and a half million dollars, they asked for a list of all the dead kids and I had to explain that investigation was under LAPD jurisdiction but I would make sure to make LAPD aware of their request for that information, the whole facility was searched for files, trust me James you don't want to know how many kids deaths that facility hid from public record" says Jennabelle as Sabrina arrives at the door
"well hello there handsome, aww Selena is all cuddly, she must be so happy" says Sabrina
"I was missing Lucy and Princess said Selena gave the ok to ask for cuddles so I asked and she immediately said ok" says James as he hugs Sabrina as she sits on the floor beside them
"I know Cat told me the story of their love, I'm Canadian by the way James" says Sabrina
"oh cool where" asks James
"Yukon, North of the circle, best four years of my life, then my sister died and my family moved down to Cali out of fear" says Sabrina
"how'd she die" asks Cat
"sled dog accident, she was eight, she lost her grip on the sled and flew off the back of it and hit her head on a rock, the dogs would have returned home without her except she'd made a strong bond with a few of them and they noticed immediately she was gone and turned the other dogs around to search for her" says Selena as Selena and Tori tic at the same time
"does Selena have tourette's too" asks James
"not entirely sure, given she's still in pain because of Lucy's death I figured I'd let her get used to living here instead of immediately getting a doctor to visit and getting a wrong diagnosis because of her fear, pain and grief" says Cat
"how bad is it" asks Cameron
"the closest to the kitchen for breakfast, lunch or supper she gets is leaving her room which is directly connected to mine and entering mine but she won't open my door on her own, she always has to make one of us escort her out, does that mean anything to you Cameron because I'm lost" says Cat
"yes it means a lot, if you giving her permission isn't enough then it means she's expecting a doctor to give her permission, Selena sweetie you aren't back there, you're here at home, you won't be going back there or if you do it won't be as a patient, you can move freely here" says Cameron
"you doctor" asks Selena
"I was yes, I was fired, they expected me to spend my time taking care of Lucy, what they didn't expect was my husband dying as he'd have been our only income" says Cameron
"so dey made misthake dath causeyd dis, you desev joob with sisther" says Selena
"you don't have to ask permission to leave your room here ok, you don't have to be afraid, I'm gonna be able to get you stuff soon" say Cameron
"you no need tho geth me geefs" says Selena
"Selena, that's where you're wrong, you helped my daughter feel loved, listened to and important and she deserved nothing less than that from someone who loved her, I've been a closeted gay my entire life Selena, never had the courage to ask my crushes out period, if I were in your situation at that facility Selena, I'd have never had the courage to love lucy and she would have died not knowing she was loved or what it felt like" says Cameron

"has she always done the t and h thing" asks Sabrina
"it's been developing as she speaks more and more yes, why do you suspect the doctors did something" asks Cat
"I'm almost certain they did, Selena open your mouth so I can see ok" says Sabrina as Selena does so
"anything" asks Jade
"yup, cuts to the roof of her mouth, given she was in a mental facility she likely wasn't allowed sharp objects so she didn't do that to herself" saysSabrina
"given how well she paints Lucy perfectly there is no way she can't see colour" says James
"would it surprise you guys if I said the color information doesn't get to her brain, I painted a pink flower two days ago and I asked her what color it was, she sat there for like half an hour stuttering and second guessing till she finally landed on violet" says Cat
"how does she paint so accurately then" asks Cameron
"she associates color with texture, must have been how Lucy did it, so we got special small paint cans and wrapped them in the texture of fabric she asked for as well as brushes with the same fabric at the handle tip, she can see perfectly fine otherwise" says Cat
"so her vision is perfect otherwise" asks Sabrina
"yes, I had an eye doctor visit and she said Selena's vision was too good, as in she could see the ink smears on the individual letters of the letter test and pixels in displays on laptops, tv's and phones, so she has special filters on her phone, laptop and personal tv that hide the pixels on the tech from her eyes" says Cat
"so basically she's a human microscope" asks Sabrina
"in a way yes, her eyes having enhanced vision goes hand in hand with her enhanced hearing, unfortunately unlike having special headphones to tone down the sound getting to her ears so she can at least hear normal there is no fix for her eyes, she doesn't trust doctors at the moment" says Cat
"then how did the eye doctor get her to cooperate" asks James
"by making it fun for her, she loves dogs so instead of a hot air balloon it was a dog and after each test she got a chocolate dollar and a plushy, a therapist that was here as part of the facility investigation, asked a bunch of questions to ascertain if any of the remaining doctors touched her in certain places, they came to the conclusion that while Selena never got that kind of attention other patients did, from her answers they were able to nail down three doctors who did do that stuff and charge them, due to her excellent memory she has actually been helping a lot with the investigation" says Cat as Selena giggles
"must make her happy for her to be able to have the power to take down the people who oppressed her and helped Lucy die" says Cameron
"indeed, given the info she gives them can be traumatic having her relive everything, the police come prepared, they give her a plush after every interview and once they verify the information with either another facility patient or from an arrested doctors confession they give her some money, after every interview she smiles and gets giggly, she gets a kick out of the revelation that the things she tells the cops is changing lives, it helps her realize she isn't powerless" says Cat
