AN: I never got opinions when I mentioned a playlist that I made to go with this story so I'm going to mention it again here... Would you guys be interested in knowing the songs that are on that playlist? If you would be, then I'll post the list at the end after the final chapter. Let me know what you think... Anyway, enjoy the next chapter of Angelica's story!

"Why aren't we going in to say hi, Dean-y?"

Dean looked back at me. I was only four and we were parked outside of Sam's apartment at the school.

"I think it's better to just wait, Angie," Dean replied, staring out the window.

It was dark out and I had fallen asleep in the back seat of the Impala while Dean and I waited. He shook my shoulder softly, waking me up.

"Angie? Angie it's time," he whispered.

I sat up, stretching my arms. Dean picked me up, carrying me toward the building as we snuck up to Sammy's apartment. Once inside, he set me down on the couch where I curled up in a ball while he snuck through to the next room. There were noises like someone had found Dean sneaking about. I slid off the couch and headed toward the source of the noise.

"What the Hell are you doing here?" Sammy was asking Dean.

"Well, I was looking for a beer," Dean smirked.

"What the Hell are you doing here?" Sammy repeated, in a more serious tone.

I ran up and hid behind Dean's legs. They both looked down at me.

"What the Hell are you doing here with her?" Sam edited the question.

"Okay. All right. We gotta talk," Dean amended, picking me up.

"Uh, the phone?"

"If I'd'a called, would you have picked up?"

Just then, the light switched on as a woman appeared in the doorway.

"Sam?" she asked him.

My adoptive brothers both looked to her.

"Jess. Hey," Sam said, then turned back to Dean. "Dean, this is my girlfriend, Jessica."

Dean nodded toward her as I burrowed further into his shoulder.

"Wait, your brother Dean?" Jess questioned Sam.

Sam nodded in confirmation.

"And who's that little cutie?"

"This is Angelica," Dean said, setting me back down and noticing her shirt. "Oh, I love the Smurfs. You know, I gotta tell you. You are way out of my brother's league."

"Just let me go put something on," Jess said, turning to go.

"Oh, no, no, no," Dean stopped her. "I wouldn't dream of it. Seriously. Anyway, I got to borrow your boyfriend here, talk some private family business. But, uh, nice meeting you."

"No," Sam stopped him, walking over to Jess and putting an arm around her. "No, whatever you want to say, you can say it in front of her."

"Okay," Dean said, "Um, Dad hasn't been home in a few days."

I looked up at Dean, grabbing his hand before looking at Sam.

"So he's working overtime on a Miller Time shift. He'll stumble back in sooner or later," he dismissed Dean.

Dean glanced down at me then looked back into Sammy's eyes.

"Dad's on a hunting trip. And he hasn't been home in a few days."

I headed to the library where Sam and Dean were sitting at a table. Dean was drinking a beer and Sam looked like he was studying some type of pearl.

"Dean?" he asked.

"Hm?"

"I think this is it..."

"The pearl?" Dean set down his beer.

"Yeah," Sam nodded.

"Let's do it."

"Do what?" I asked.

"Hopefully, get Michael out of Dean's head," Sam told me before turning back to Dean. "Are you- are you sure you don't want to call Mom or- or wait for Cass?"

"No. No, 'cause if this mojo works like you say, great. If not... why get their hopes up?"

Dean walked over to where Sam was standing with the pearl. I sat down in the seat he previously occupied.

"Yeah," Sam said, nodding.

"Okay," I looked between the two brothers.

Sam handed Dean the pearl.

"So, what do I..."

"I don't know. I-I guess you- you hold the pearl and- and concentrate on what your heart desires," Sam shrugged.

"Michael out of my head... got it," Dean said, putting the pearl in his hand.

Glancing at Sam and then me, he closed his fist around it and closed his eyes. The lights began to flicker and the red emergency light switched on. Dean opened his eyes and we all looked around. A man came out of the shadows behind Dean and Sam and attacked. Sam attempted to move, but the man used the gun he was holding to send Sam to the ground. Dean was next, also ending up on his back on the floor.

"Don't you move," the man growled, cocking the gun and pointing it at the boys.

The emergency lights turned off then, and in the regular light, Sam and Dean gasped. My eyes widened as I also realized who had just appeared.

"Dad?" Dean breathed.

John looked at the boys in shock, then around the room as Sam and Dean got to their feet.

"Sammy? Aren't you supposed to be in Palo Alto?" he asked.

"Palo Alto?" Sam repeated.

"What happened to you?" John demanded.

"What year is it?" Dean asked him.

"It's 2003."

"It's 2019," I said from my spot at the table.

John saw me then.

"No. How?... Who are you?"

"Um..."

"We, uh... I-I think we summoned you," Sam told him, saving me.

"You boys better tell me what the hell is going on right now."

XxX

John pointed at me after Sam and Dean finished filling him in.

"I still don't know who you are..."

"O-oh... um..." I glanced at the boys, biting my lip as I felt my chest tighten. "I'm... My name's Angelica."

"Angelica?" Dean asked, looking confused. "I thought you said-"

"I lied... Um... You guys actually met me in July of 2003... and uh, kind of raised me for a few years..."

"Angie?"

John looked over at Dean, confused. He was staring at me with wide eyes. I made eye contact with him, smiling slightly.

"Yeah..."

There was a moment of awkward silence before it was broken by John.

"So you've, um- you've been busy," he laughed, taking another swig of whiskey.

"A little bit," Sam agreed.

"I- I don't... I just wish I had been there to see it."

"Dad, none of this would have been possible without you," Dean told him, glancing at me.

"It's good," John continued. "It's fine. I- I went out takin' out Yellow Eyes. I mean, that was the point, right? I mean, get the thing that killed Mom."

"Yeah, yeah, uh, Dad. About Mom..." Sam trailed off as there was a noise in the other room.

"Sam? Dean?" Mary's voice called out.

John looked between the boys, shocked.

"Mary?" he asked and they nodded.

She walked in then, and John turned to look at her. He stood as she walked toward him in shock. They both smiled as John leaned in and kissed her. Sam, Dean, and I watched them embrace before Sam beckoned us out to give them some privacy.
