Chapter two: Aye Aye Captain

Fury POV

"WHAT!" I shouted did Barton fail and the being with the high energy signature move from one side of manhattan to Montauk in 2 HOURS. Impossible.
"It's true sir," Barton told me.
"Go visit Montauk with Romanov now," I more or less shouted," Find our suspect this time, Barton."
"Yes Sir," he answered quietly and quit the room.
"Agents, show me Montauk beach from cameras, satellite images and energy signature levels from over there now," I ordered everyone in the control room. Sighing tiredly, I turned back to the control panels thinking about how Barton, one of my best, failed his first mission. Well, there is a first for everything.
"Sir, Quinjet number 127 is requesting permission for take off," one of the agents in the room said," shall I allow it?"
"Allow the take off." I answered.

Percy POV

Well looks like I am still good at my powers, wow I thought from all that fighting with my powers, destroyed the powers. I am tired now, luckily the ocean is right next to me. What a day, fought 50 monsters, found my mother dead, woke up in Hestia's temple and being better than ever in my powers. There is nothing right now that can make my day worse.. cue Greek curses... I just had to jinx myself.

"Put your hands up now!" Ordered a feminine voice with so much authority in her voice that I nearly obeyed. Me being me (apparently an idiot) turned around with Riptide in my hand, ready to uncap it. There is 10 agents and they are fully armed with machine guns out; a female with pistols and a bunch of other weapons and Robin hood in black. My eyes were darting around searching for an exit and making a battle plan.
"Hey guys?" I asked dumbly and a bit too quietly. These are mortal and riptide won't work. I am so screwed, right?
"Do you know who we are right?" The guy with bow asked.
"Yeah, Judging from your look, you are Robin hood, she looks like an assassin and the rest are American SWAT team." I answered, Robin hood jaws dropped to the ground in shock and annoyance.
"What you don't know who we are?" Robin hood asked.
"I don't watch much TV." I answered back and with that I dropped Riptide and ran to the forest. Robin hood fired an arrow that is heading straight to my shoulder, with my skills, I sidestepped the arrow, caught it and snapped it in half, all that in a second. That is when they opened fire. I ran behind a tree to use as cover.

"Robin hood!" I shouted over the gun fire, " You aren't good enough to hit me, so you are not the best!" Suddenly I felt something big coming towards me.I turned and caught it. It is a giant frisbee.
"Sweet a frisbee." I said. I ran out of my cover to continue running into the forest ,frisbee held out behind me to block the bullets. When the gunfire stopped, I pulled the frisbee to my side and bolted off.
Great Robin hood is after me, I thought sarcastically. Yeah welcome to my life. It sucks. I came to a stop next a giant rock and studied the huge frisbee. It had a white star in the middle, a blue circle surrounding it, then a red one, then a white circle and then a red circle again. This looks familiar...hmm... oh... I just stole Captain America's frisbee... so screwed. Just gave the government another reason to arrest me. I need to get moving again. I stood up turned around ready to run ,just to find myself surrounded.
" *Cue Greek curses* ." I mumbled underneath my breath.
"Give it up kid you got nowhere to run." The assassin said," You're coming with us."
"Okay," I responded," but can I keep the frisbee?"
"No." Answered Robin hood angrily.
"Chill Robin hood," I said.
"Can I have my shield back?" Asked Captain America. I mocked saluted him.
"Sir Yes Sir," I mocked and threw the frisbee to the ground right in front of his feet. I put my hands forward and asked,"Handcuffs?"
A few soldiers came to handcuff me and then lead me to a plane.
Oh great, a plane, I thought. The plane took off at high speed towards west,

30 minutes later...

I was sitting in an interrogation room without handcuffs on (because I learned to picklock) and is starting to get bored. Finally, a pirate comes in. Not what I expected.
"I am Nick Fury, the director," said Fury," Are you Percy Jackson?"
"Ahoy, capn' Fury." I said," Do you want me to wash the poop deck!"
"Are you PERCY JACKSON?"shouted or asked Fury.
"Aye me am." I responded," Leave me no quarter capn', take me to the poop deck.'

This is how it went for about an hour and a half until...

"would you like to join SHIELD?" Now that froze me down.
"WHAT."
"You heard me."
"Do I get frisbee like captain America's?" The look he gave me said no.
"Deal." And I hold out my hand to shake. "Are you gonna shake my hand, son of Nemesis?"
"How do you know?" He asked suspiciously.
"You literally radiate balance" I replied.
