Chapter Three: The Undercover agent.
Percy POV
It has been a few days since I joined SHIELD, Let's just say it was finally nice to have a roof to sleep under. They gave me a few days to settle in and training is going to start today, that is why I am heading to Fury's office. When I arrived at the office, I knocked, I heard a muffled 'come in' and I gone into the office. In the office was Fury and another agent.
"Sir, I come to train." I said and then sat down.
"Good, Perseus meet Phil Coulson, a level 10 agent." Fury said. Phil and I stood up and shake hands.
"Good to meet you Percy." Phil said.
"Likewise." I answered.
"Perseus, Phil is going to be your trainer." said Fury," He is going to make you into a specialist."
"Sir, what is a specialist?" I asked.
"Specialists are the best solo agents we have." Fury answered," They do special missions that our normal agents can't do."
And that is how the training started...
4 months later... In Fury's office.
"Perseus, me and Phil are making a new team the Avengers, they are a bunch of special people that are like Tony Stark or Captain America." Said Fury as he throws the Avengers initiative file to me, I caught it and started reading. Fury opened his mouth to say something, but I cut him off...
"I join." I said.
"How do you now what I was going to say?" Fury narrowed his eyes at me.
Me knowing what the was thinking, replied," I can't read your mind Fury, but that would be cool."
"Okay... Now I have a mission for you I want you to get Tony Stark in the team, read the file for more information." The director ordered," Oh, and before you ask, yes you can take your motorcycle." I just smirked and left the room to get ready. Hmm... normal bulletproof vest... a handgun and normal gear. I headed to the garage to get my bike and get started...
Later...
I was sitting on the couch in Stark tower, where I was watching my watch and waiting for Tony. The elevator doors open and out walks Tony Stark, completely ignoring me. He goes to the kitchen and eats some pizza. Next he comes sit next to me to watch tv.
Five minutes later, I say," You know I am getting bored here." He jumps up so high that I think he is going to go through the ceiling.
"How long have you been sitting there?" He asked a bit frightened.
I checked my watch and said," 1 hour, 12 minutes and 45 seconds."
"Okay, now what do you want.?" He asked.
"To recruit you." I answered back simply.
"Why.'
"We're making a team called the Avengers, it is a special group of people that will protect Earth."
"Okay, I'm in for now." I smiled and gestured him to come...
