I wish I owned DBZ, but I don't. I own DVD's and tapes, but it just isn't the same. Nor do I own any legal imprinting of whatever theme I'm using, such as a crossover with another anime, movie or TV series. Did I think it up? Yes. Was I the first to think it up? Probably not, but I digress. I also don't own the rights to any of the music pieces you see selected, just the merchandise, such a shame. The artists that created them are geniuses and we all must bow to them.

Chapter 31: Takeover

Loud alarms blared as Bulma scrambled to ready the ship for departure. They were on the main bridge with Bulma in the driver's seat, rapidly typing commands into a console now bathed in red from the lights above.

"Will you turn that damn noise off!" Vegeta roared in frustration. He, Gohan and Laysh had followed Bulma up there, while nearly everyone else had taken refuge in the main gathering space and had strapped themselves in. The one exception was Doctor Briefs, who went to check on the ship's engine.

"I'll turn it off when we're in the damn air and clear! We've got incoming!" Bulma shouted back.

"Does this ship have weapons?" Laysh asked.

Bulma scowled, "All the main systems were taken offline by sabotage. I'm doing everything I can for the defense and maneuvering systems. Weapons will take longer than we have." Vegeta growled in frustration and stepped over to a panel on the side that featured another chair, pressing a button that stopped the alarm and the red flashing. This also opened the canopy to the twilight skies above, with only a layer of hard glass and air between them.

"Gohan, be prepared to teleport us outside to fight," Vegeta suggested, earning a nod from the son of his rival. Laysh then reached into a small pouch attached to her armor and pulled out a scouter, putting it on her ear.

"Don't turn that on, they can track the signal," Gohan claimed.

Laysh frowned at him, "Yes I know that, I've already disabled the tracker and the audio transmitter. This isn't the first time I've had to go up against the Frieza Force you know!" That silenced Gohan while Vegeta smirked slightly. An assortment of chatter came from the scouter's listening device, to which Laysh listened in before pulling it away.

"They already know where we are. Their armada will be in orbit in three minutes, only the ground forces have been ordered to stand down. They intend to wait until we have taken off to attack."

"Of course they do, Frost won't let us simply walk away," Vegeta remarked. Bulma's furious typing continued until her screen flashed orange.

Her eyes widened as she pressed a button on the side, "Dad, what are you seeing?"

The image of Doctor Briefs then covered her display, "Bulma! The power coupling on the port side is cracked. It won't be able to sustain a full energy charge to allow the floater to maintain speed for long periods. It will take an hour to get in there and replace it!"

Bulma scowled, "Damn, how did I miss that? Well, we don't have an hour! We have to take off now! We'll make repairs later!"

Laysh looked concerned, "If the ship's floater is anything like the empire's ships, you won't be able to make a warp jump without a full charge, at least not very far."

Bulma smirked, "Relax Laysh, this ship may look like one of theirs, but it has other capabilities. Dad, bring the central pylon crystal online. We'll make one big jump to our designated coordinates. They won't be able to track us as easily if we use the Protoss energy source we have."

"But Bulma, that will burn up the majority of the energy that has been stored over the last year and will likely short out half the systems on the ship. We will not be able to jump again until repairs are completed, and I'm not certain we have sufficient supplies to do that!" Doctor Briefs argued.

Bulma glanced at Vegeta, who nodded grimly before she turned back to the screen, "We don't have a choice. Do it." All at once, the entire ship's inner lighting brightened by several degrees as the power increased. The ship lifted into the air as the landing gear folded into the underbelly, and the colorful CC logo began to glow brightly. The ship shuddered, startling everyone inside as they were confused about what was going on. Bulma cringed slightly as several lights sparked and burst while her console flashed red with alarm.

"Can this ship handle this?" Laysh asked.

Bulma let loose a sarcastic chuckle, "Like they say, sometimes, you have to run before you can walk."

"You mean you haven't tested it?" Gohan asked with surprise.

"Hard to keep it a secret if I had. Don't worry, we'll be fine," Bulma claimed.

"While I detest the idea of using something untested, she is correct that it had to be kept secret. Cash and Frost's spies are literally everywhere now," Vegeta added. Bulma paused with realization as if she had forgotten something, and pressed a button on the side that glowed yellow. A loud and distinct noise from behind them sounded, and the display flashed that a certain part of the ship had just opened.

Doctor Briefs' voice immediately sounded the alarm, "Bulma, the lab outer door has been opened! It needs to be closed before we jump, otherwise it will cause catastrophic damage to the ship!"

Bulma grimaced, "It's alright Dad, we just have to leave something behind before we go. Closing the door now. Prepare for jump in thirty seconds!"

Gohan looked on with concern, "Bulma, what was it you had to leave here?"

Bulma's focus didn't waver, "I'll explain it later. Let's just say Flandal isn't the only one who can be sneaky around here. Now go strap yourselves in, this jump might be a little... rough." Gohan nodded as he sat down in the nearest chair and held on to the sides as the ship continued to tremble. Outside, it lifted high into the air as a large crate tumbled out of the side and landed next to the battered Kame House. The ship glowed brighter before ascending upwards and disappearing in a bright flash of light.

Below, as the area darkened back into twilight, the side of the crate then flew open. The side that had broken off bounced off the sand and tilted just enough to reveal the words 'Operation K'.

Inside the crate, a pair of bright blue eyes opened. "So, it's time."

One hour later, Frost stood atop his mothership as it settled in on the outskirts of Satan City, his tail lashing at the air in anger as he attempted to calm down. His soldiers had gone into the reaches of every home and building that had survived the battle to alert the humans and have them gather in the main part of the city. There, Wheelo had made a grand speech about how they had come to liberate the planet from the Saiyans. Utter nonsense of course, as it was all part of their plan to take over the Earth and eliminate the Saiyans. He felt slightly disgusted that they had escaped, so much so that the poor soldier that had reported what happened was blown up on the spot, leaving a noticeable burn mark where he used to be next to where Frost stood on the roof of the ship. The converted empire ship that the Saiyans had used to escape was of similar size to his mothership, capable of carrying thousands of people. As was reported however, its power signature was not as easily traceable as other ships. Frost quickly realized why; it was a newer hybrid system using Protoss technology. Because Frost had mined the secret tunnel leading to their dimension, he had not bothered to study the systems more after the initial encounters. Then of course, there was the entire ordeal with Majin Buu's appearance in his original state. He didn't have adequate information about Buu before the encounter, and obviously had no idea about the repercussions of killing Mister Satan. Torev had warned him not to kill the one with the afro hair but declined to say why. Wheelo had also advised taking down the Saiyans first and leaving the others alone, but Frost had ignored that advice in the heat of the moment. Once Goku had arrived, his overwhelming urge to kill the Saiyan overrode his judgment, so much so that his overconfidence had nearly cost him dearly. With their plan of divide and conquer, Frost thought he would be able to defeat Goku fast enough before Vegeta or Gohan got involved despite not having access to his final giant form for a time. At the very least, he had hoped that Torev would be able to contain Gohan so that he could not team up with his father. While that plan more or less succeeded, it was obviously not in the way that was expected. Frost knew Wheelo's large robot probably couldn't deal with Vegeta as much as it did distract him. Losing Bojack's crew member Bujin was unfortunate but not unexpected. Frost was so entrenched in his thoughts that he didn't even hear Sorbet floating up to him.

"My Lord, I'm afraid I have more bad news. Lavare reported fighting against a Renegade Saiyan female in the human's western capital. He believes it was the one known as Laysh," Sorbet reported.

Frost's head turned slightly, "Interesting. The last living member of Captain Ranot's crew if I remember correctly, the one similar to Blizzare in controlling ice powers. Were there others or just her?"

"Just her, my lord. She was able to escape and was tracked to where Captain Miruk's transponder disappeared. We have sent scouts to the area, but found no one. Lord Bojack and his associate did not return with Miruk either," Sorbet explained.

"I see, we can safely assume then that Miruk has been killed. Probably let his code of honor get in the way of his mission. Any other mishaps I need to know about?" Frost asked in slight annoyance.

"None from our end my lord, the operation was for the most part a success. The fleet has arrived and has encircled the planet as ordered, maintaining a high orbit while we set up orbital defense platforms. We can finish pulling equipment out of the mothership and convert it into your castle within the next three hours, if you wish," Sorbet claimed.

Frost nodded, "And Torev, where is he?"

A noticeable bead of sweat went down the side of Sorbet's blue head, "He and Mistress Kaon are in their... private quarters."

"Relay that I wish to speak to him, immediately," Frost said with a smirk. Sorbet gulped but nodded and floated forward before descending towards the bottom of the ship, where hundreds of soldiers and workers were going in and out of the ship. Frost could see Sorbet speaking to one that had saluted him before he ran inside. A few moments later, he sensed a distinct spark of energy and the slightest rumble under his foot. Frost snorted slightly and folded his arms, having a good idea of what had just happened. A few moments later, the crowd of soldiers parted quickly as Torev angrily emerged from the ship. He only had black pants on, no shirt and no boots. He quickly ascended upwards until he was floating at eye level with Frost.

"I do hope there isn't too much of a mess in my corridors," Frost said with a grin.

Torev crossed his arms as he glared at Frost, "Maybe consider telling your minions to not knock on a door that says Do Not Disturb."

Frost chuckled, "Well, I did tell Commander Sorbet to summon you, but he clearly thought better of it. Did you and your mate enjoy your post-battle celebration?"

"Oh, the one you interrupted? No, afraid not. Tell your commander that if he knocks on my door again, I will pop that blue head like a balloon, slowly," Torev warned, "Now, what do you want?"

Frost turned slightly to look towards the wrecked stadium where the battle had taken place, "You were correct in your assessment of the situation and in letting the Saiyans go. I expected a much higher casualty rate and suspect it would have been so if we had confronted them directly."

Torev rolled his eyes, "No shit. There's a good chance we would have had to deal with Kakarot, Gohan and Vegeta in a prolonged fight and a lot of unknowns. Even if our strength is more than a match for theirs, your soldiers are not. What happened with Buu, well that's on you."

Frost frowned slightly, "No need to remind me, Saiyan. What can your borrowed memories tell us about what to expect?"

Torev scowled but floated forward and landed several feet away, "Well, if it is anything like the Zerg war, they will return. But they won't do so without a plan, and likely not without reinforcements."

"My scouts are scouring the galaxy for the location of New Namek. That is the most logical place they would go next," Frost suggested.

Torev looked thoughtful, "Maybe, but I don't think that they will. Tactically, Kakarot and Gohan might be foolish enough for that, but Vegeta is not. What about those Renegade Saiyans I've heard about?"

Frost's eyes narrowed, "What about them? I thought you would be able to answer that one."

Torev shook his head, "My memories of him are limited to when we separated years ago, during the Zerg captivity. I only gained this cloned body in the recent events, not his memories since that time. Kaon has had to fill me in on the heavy details since the transfer didn't work as planned. And that has been spotty at best with her."

Frost turned towards him, "Well, your mate's desires aside, I doubt Vegeta would seek refuge with the Renegades if only one was sent here to aid them in battle. Verto did battle with them more than once, and if there is anything I know about Saiyans, it is that their blood feuds do not easily end. Besides, with the bulk of their military might in shambles, it is unlikely they would provide a serious threat right now."

Torev huffed slightly, "You actually considered them a threat?"

Frost smirked again, "You of all people should know that any Saiyan can be a threat, given enough time."

Torev returned the smirk, "I'll give you that one. So, when are we going after them?"

Frost's smirk vanished, "What makes you think I have any intention of doing that?"

Torev's head turned with concern, "You seriously think they're going to sit idly by and not try to retake Earth? We have to chase them down."

Frost shook his alien head, "There is no need for that. When they return, and they will return, we will destroy them here. Chasing them all over the galaxy will be pointless, especially when you and I both know they can jump across space using Yardrat's technique."

Torev grimaced, "So can you. What is your point?"

Frost sighed, "My ability to travel with that technique is limited to maybe the distance between the planets in this star system. From what I have seen, Son Goku's range is much, much greater. And due to other reasons, we cannot utilize Soren as much since he must stay focused on our... guest."

Torev's eyebrow went up in question, "You're hiding something, Frost. What is it about that female Kai that is so important?"

Frost grinned, "I'm afraid I know nothing about her, I suggest you ask your mate about that. Speaking of which, you may get back to your private celebration now, if you wish."

Torev's fists clenched for a moment, "Fine, we can discuss that later. Just know I don't like being kept in the dark."

Frost nodded, "A trait you share with your former counterpart. I promise that I will be up front with you; I expect the same from you in this alliance. The ship will be converted into my castle soon, and we will have a meeting in the throne room where everyone's presence is expected. You and your mate may have the penthouse suite if you wish, as our honored allies. Consider it a token of my appreciation." Torev said nothing and turned to float away slowly. Both of them had thoughts about each other, none of which were meant for allies.

Just as I thought, he is being manipulated by the witch just as myself and Doctor Wheelo have been. Well, we'll see who comes out on top. In the meantime, I need him while the other Saiyans still live, Frost thought with a grin as he watched Torev descend to the ground.

Torev scowled as he slowly lowered himself to the ship's entrance, Appreciation my ass. He's gonna fuck us over the first chance he gets. Well it doesn't matter. I'll destroy him too, in time. Right now though, I need to focus on getting strong enough to do that. And Kaon has answers I need. If I can get her libido to take a break.

A few hours later, the large mothership finished being converted into a large palace in the shape of a typical base of the Kold Empire. The one big difference was that the throne room was not in a high tower like it always had been for Frieza, but in the center of a grand hall. Frost's throne room was a fairly plain room with a white floor and pillars spotting the area, but with darkened walls. It was narrow even for its size, being nearly twice as long as it was wide, but its width was greater than the base of a large office building. At one end was a large set of double doors that were nearly thirty feet in height and that took up nearly three quarters of the walls space when opened fully. At the other, on a high platform, was Frost's actual throne. While it looked barely average in appearance and decor compared to what one might expect, it still gave off an ominous feeling to all those that gazed upon it. Behind it was a closed door on the floor, sort of like a trap door, that led to Frost's private chambers below it. Frost's soldiers lined the walls like posted guards so that there was not one empty space to stand, wearing their shiniest, cleanest uniforms.

Torev rolled his eyes at this display, knowing it was all for show. Most of the soldiers were not actually there, as they were going around the world helping to gather community leaders, governors and everyone else Frost deemed valuable for this grand event. Television crews were allowed to enter with their camera equipment at Wheelo's invitation. For all the humans present though, every one of them gazed at Torev in both fear in anger before being reassured that he was not an enemy. Torev scoffed slightly as some of the cyborg people were brought in but acted completely emotionless and barely acknowledged him. It gave away which ones Wheelo was keeping completely under control and which ones he was not. Torev knew all too well that the revolutionary tendencies of humans could be played on, but could also be a dangerous weapon in reverse. Wheelo's Cult of Torev operation was dead the minute Torev could breathe the air again, but the remnants of it presented a potential problem in his view. Frost's ambitions for Earth also didn't completely align with Wheelo's in a logical way. In the short time he had been involved with the group, Torev had grown as much mistrust in Frost as anyone else might have expected a Saiyan to have in regards to a relative of Frieza. His trust in Wheelo, the man who assisted in bringing him back to life, was less. While he didn't consider Wheelo to be as much of a threat as Frost, he knew he could not underestimate the deranged scientist whose mind was trapped in a jar.

That man is going to be a thorn in my side, no matter what Frost might do in the future. I suppose I could play them against each other and strike at an opportune time, but that would require gaining their trust to lure them in. I can barely stay in the same room with either one of them. Torev was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't notice the purple headed flower he had bedded not long ago sneaking up behind him.

"You shouldn't think so poorly of your allies, lover," Kaon whispered into his ear before nibbling it with her teeth.

Torev scowled initially before wrapping an arm around her waist, "I take it your nap was satisfying."

Kaon grinned, "After-sex sleep is only good if both involved wake up and start again. I could hear your mental brooding from miles away. Don't you think you should enjoy your victory before plotting your next move?"

Torev grimaced, "Don't do that. I prefer to keep my thoughts to myself."

Kaon's eyebrow went up slightly, "Just like your counterpart, should've known you'd pick up that trait too."

Torev turned his head to glare into space, "I'm nothing like him."

Kaon stifled a laugh, "Right, you only have his DNA, his body, his hair, his personality, and his overly grumpy scowl. Totally not like him at all."

Torev's mood didn't improve, "Fine, we have a few things in common, only a few. I can't imagine he ever liked his thoughts being spied on, so don't do it to me."

Kaon chuckled as she squeezed his torso suggestively, "But it's much more fun that way. Especially when I can clearly see whoever you are focused on in such vivid detail. A few hours ago, it was me, and believe me, that was such a turn on!"

"One track mind, I hear your counterpart was a lot like that too," Torev countered.

Kaon took it in stride, "Just like you, I had to inherit something other than her body. I'll have to show you a few techniques I learned from her later." Torev's eyes showed the slightest glimmer despite his mean demeanor, and Kaon's smile grew wider as his thoughts had been completely pulled away from plotting.

Across the room, Commander Sorbet was observing the two of them while watching the whole throne room fill up with people, though they were not the only ones he was observing. Doctor Wheelo was greeting the numerous human leaders and television crews along with a few of the MAX soldiers in attendance. Sorbet was not completely certain of their new allies, but he trusted Frost to handle business in the interests of the empire. Nearby him were Bojack and Zangya, missing their teammate Bujin who had been killed in action. While the pair did not seem to be mourning their partner in any way, Sorbet had always sensed a certain level of hostility towards himself from Bojack. He was only ever loyal to Frost, and while Sorbet was in charge of the fleet, Bojack more or less did what he wanted regardless of the commander's orders. Bojack's team was in the worst shape of all of the fighting teams of the empire, which largely had to do with Torev and Kaon's counterparts. Sorbet had not been present when Verto and Lenz had visited Frost's base, but he had been contacted soon after the battle was over by Frost's then Lieutenant Burotsuno. Sorbet scowled as he thought of the blue alien with yellow fur. Like Sorbet, Burotsuno was now one of Frost's higher officers, holding the new rank of major, though the announcement had not yet been made publicly. Buro had overseen completion of the palace-mothership they had traveled in and aided in rebuilding the fleet and Sorbet knew a promotion was not only overdue, but deserved for such a feat. Also, like Sorbet, he had no substantial battle power; it was lower than an average soldier at only twelve hundred. Aside from being able to fly and use a blaster, his battle skills were below sub-par. He made up for it with intelligence, cunning and technological expertise, more so than even Sorbet. The commander had a certain level of respect for an officer much like himself rising up the ranks like that, but he couldn't help but feel a touch of jealousy. Buro was not as adept at military strategy as Sorbet, but there was potential. It was likely only because of his new medical technology and his recruitment of the Kihon Corps that Sorbet was allowed to command the fleet at all.

As the hall began to fill up completely, Sorbet eyed an increasing amount of MAX soldiers flowing into it. Wheelo was rightfully directing them to line up in a section by themselves, directly behind the human leaders, but also separated from the Frieza Force soldiers. Sorbet knew that this meeting was going to determine the fate of the planet, and truthfully, he did not fully understand the detail of what was going to happen. One thing he did know, someone was not going to like it. He just was not sure who that someone would be. In their short time together, Sorbet knew not to underestimate Wheelo's scientific prowess, and was even careful not to overshare their technology with the human-turned-cyborg. He suspected that Wheelo's goals would eventually clash with Frost's, but in what way he could not be sure. He trusted Torev even less. The Saiyan who had appeared and joined them was incredibly powerful, enough that Frost respected him and clearly agreed to the alliance, but he was much more of an outsider than the rest of them. Aside from a few cutting remarks and threats, Sorbet did not know much about him aside from what Kaon had told them, and she was already a wild card. While he was not present when Kaon had been discovered, he had objected with fervor upon teaming up with her. It wasn't just because she was partially a Saiyan; it was her truly wicked behavior. While she cooperated with Frost, she never really appeared to have any other goal outside of reviving Torev. Sure, he knew that it was part of her plan to help take Earth, but beyond that it was unclear. Initially there had been intense outbursts that Sorbet was not part of, which he could only rely on the word of other soldiers who had witnessed it. Missing or dead soldiers, a doctor's flesh cooked and eaten, entire sections of the space station turned to ash, and occasionally strange demands of intimate company with virtually anyone.

Frost apparently allowed all of the chaos that came with her before Sorbet ever arrived. When he did, she had apparently curbed some of those tendencies and was on her best behavior as she traveled back and forth to Earth with Soren's assistance. Once in a while she would get into an argument or deep discussion with Frost in view of his soldiers, in which Sorbet could only assume that there was something else amiss when Frost would occasionally order him away so that he and Kaon could speak alone. Afterwards, despite a power fluctuation or two, everything appeared to be fine. Sorbet was equally unsure about Soren, except that he was fiercely loyal to the cause, Kaon and Torev. He had shown up one day during one of Frost and Kaon's private discussions, and afterwards Kaon was always oddly cooperative, while Sorbet was to allow Soren anything he needed when he was present. Shortly afterwards, Soren showed up with a captured being he referred to as a Kai. Sorbet was not sure what a Kai was, only that they were a god-like being that oversaw parts of the universe, and that Frost clearly knew what they were. Despite his curiosity, Frost, Kaon and Soren were very secretive about the Kai, and soon she was taken to Earth and hidden away. Outside of the events of Torev's revival that he was made aware of, Sorbet had no idea where the captive Kai now was, and he hadn't dared to ask.

A loud bell sounded, signaling that the assembly was complete and that Frost was about to enter the room. Everyone stood from their seats where the human leaders were, while all of the soldiers remained standing. From behind the throne, the floor opened and Frost floated upwards out of his private chambers.

Sorbet was quick to speak up, "All hail Lord Frost, emperor of the Kold Empire and conqueror of the known universe!" Applause broke out from most of the room as Frost looked down and took it in before folding his arms behind him and landing in front of his throne.

"I see everyone is assembled. Let us get the formalities out of the way. You may begin your transmissions to the entire planet," Frost said first, in which the television crews signaled acknowledgement. Within a few seconds, every television set and channel around the world featured his face, which startled many people while others were hopeful for it. Once he saw the signal that he was being broadcast, he cleared his throat.

"People of Earth, I am Lord Frost, your liberator. No doubt you have heard of me from Governor Cash, who requested my army's help in bringing the Saiyans to justice. While they escaped the planet, know that my forces will not rest nor depart until they are found and dealt with. To that end, we will require much of your planet's resources to dedicate to that mission. My soldiers will be stationed around the world to help oversee this operation. Your workforce will adapt to service ours, learning new skills and technologies along the way. Humanity will become part of the empire and be added to its citizens. You will be able to leave the planet and travel to others if you wish, as part of our scientific or military teams. This will be the way of your planet from now on, part of a greater galactic whole. Your species has long stayed in the dark, and it is now time for you to rise. That is all for now."

Frost finished his speech, earning a mixture of applause and confusion from the room, more of the latter away from it in the cities. Sorbet signaled to end the transmission, and the cameras were immediately turned off. That did not however stop a few reporters from approaching with their microphones, only to be blocked by alien soldiers.

"Let them come forward," Frost ordered as he sat in his chair.

"Lord Frost, may we ask how long this may take before the Saiyans are found and your army leaves?" one of the braver female reporters asked. Wheelo's cybernetic eyes widened slightly, as he had hoped there wouldn't be any questions.

Frost smirked, "As long as it requires, which means indefinitely. I don't believe I misspoke when I said that this planet is now part of my empire. Now leave, your leaders will be apprised of what is expected."

"Pardon me Lord Frost, but we believe in freedom on this planet. What you are describing sounds like authoritarian rule. The people have a right to know!" the reporter dared proclaim. Frost's grin didn't fade as he closed his eyes but lifted his arm and pointed at the reporter. Suddenly she lifted off of the ground, dropping her headset and microphone in panic. Her crew scrambled to help, but were stopped by the soldiers. The human leaders could only watch with dread as Frost appeared to magically pull her into the air and towards his chair.

Once she was within a few feet, Frost opened his eyes again, "My dear, you don't know what authoritarian rule is, but you will if you disobey. I will rely on you and people like you to spread the word to the public of how generous I am to let the lot of you unevolved scum live. If I wanted to, I could turn this planet into dust quite easily, as could many of my soldiers. If you don't wish this occupation to be unpleasant, I suggest that you tell your fellow humans to cooperate. The alternative, well, see for yourself."

Frost motioned with his hand which caused her to spin around in the air and look down. There, Bojack had grabbed her cameraman by the neck and had hoisted him above his head, holding him there easily with one hand. Frost nodded as Bojack grinned wickedly and squeezed hard. All at once, the cameraman's body fell to the ground, without his head. Murmurs and screams sounded as the other TV crews and human leaders realized what was going on and attempted to run. Behind them, the MAX soldiers, armed with their blasters drawn, kept them from going anywhere. Many of the soldiers had cold emotionless expressions, but many of them did not. This was part of what Sorbet had noticed before, that not all of them were being controlled directly. Among the latter group, they were yelling and pleading with people to calm down. Shouting and general panic continued as the leaders tried to escape or pointed at Frost in futility.

Wheelo ran over to the bottom of the raised platform, "Stop, you don't need to murder them all, they will cooperate! My friends, you have a choice in this, please do not make the wrong one!"

Frost frowned as he glanced down at Wheelo, before turning his finger and spinning the reporter to face him again, "Your comrade is correct. I don't wish your people ill will, but you will obey. Your job is to pass that message, or I will find someone more... willing. Is that understood?" The reporter gulped and nodded before Frost lowered his arm and she descended back to the ground harmlessly. Once she landed, she trotted past Bojack in fear as he held the dripping cameraman's head in his hand, before rejoining the crowd of humans who greeted her with concern.

"You may go. Your leaders will receive their orders from Governor Cash or one of my appointed officers within the hour. In the interest of fairness, the MAX soldiers that are not part of the labor force will be part of the new security force in your cities," Frost declared at the crowd. They began to nervously file out of the room the room along with most of the MAX and alien soldiers, though the sheer amount of them made this a difficult task to accomplish quickly.

Wheelo scowled as he glanced up at Frost, "Was that really necessary?!"

Frost stood from his throne and lowered to ground level, "A certain amount of fear is healthy for driving realistic obedience. Your method of subjecting them completely is effective, however it will not work on those you have not transformed, and I don't see it as reliable. Plus, they could just as easily be turned against me and I will not allow that."

Wheelo scowled, "That may be, Lord Frost, but you are forgetting that a subjugated race will eventually rise up and attempt to overthrow those that oppressed them in the first place. Eliminating that revolutionary tendency is necessary for our plans to come to fruition."

Frost chuckled, "If you want to eliminate the human race entirely yes. Correct me if I am wrong, but your cyborg transformation completely ends their ability to procreate doesn't it?"

Wheelo paused, "Well possibly, but I fail to see how that matters."

"I did not bring my army here for total genocide, Doctor. I wouldn't have bothered setting anything this grand up for that. I do intend for the human race to become part of the empire, even if it's at the lowest levels or as slaves. Turning them all into cyborgs potentially means that their race will end. Sure, the cyborg lives will be extended and provide a boosted fighting force for my empire, but ultimately once they die, they die. With that notion, even if we do leave, at best you'll be the ruler of an empty planet," Frost explained.

"My Lord, perhaps our scientists can assist the Doctor in seeing if the cyborgs can actually procreate, since it appears he did not bother to test the theory himself," Sorbet suggested.

Frost nodded, "Excellent suggestion, begin immediately." Wheelo's expression didn't change, but he did fall quiet for the moment as Torev and Kaon walked up to them, along with Sorbet, Burotsuno and Bojack. A brief flash of light also made itself present as Soren appeared next to Kaon, with his arms tucked in his robes.

"My lords, I see I am late, my apologies," Soren claimed.

"Where have you been, Soren?" Wheelo asked first.

"Attending to our guest and making sure her new accommodations are secure," Soren replied as he glanced at Kaon.

She blinked sharply before snaking her arm around Torev's again, "Make sure she can't be detected, even by our forces. She must remain hidden from everyone."

Frost made note of this statement but didn't add to it as he simply changed the subject, "Commander Sorbet, you will work with Major Buro to finish orbital defenses and scanning systems. If anything comes within a parsec of this solar system, I want to know about it. Once that is complete, send out the space probes to find that ship. Sorbet will remain in charge of the fleet, Buro will coordinate from the surface. Additionally, I want defensive batteries setup in bombardment formation around the planet, at least twelve of them outfitted with as much firepower as you can install, understood?"

Buro and Sorbet saluted and bowed in unison, "Yes, my lord!"

Frost then turned to Wheelo, "Doctor, I want you to select human leaders that will prove trustworthy to command as regional governors alongside my forces. They will have shared duties but know that I expect your people to obey mine in the end. Additionally, do you have the device that controls the cyborgs directly with you?"

Wheelo nodded and he pulled it from his lab coat pocket, "Of course I do."

"Destroy it, and the signal generators you have hidden around the planet. Both humans and cyborgs will submit to us willingly, not by direct control. Lord Bojack will assist in seeing that through," Frost ordered as he glanced at Bojack.

Bojack was still grinning under his bandana as he stared at Wheelo, "Of course, Lord Frost." Wheelo hesitated before pressing a bright red button that had been flashing, causing it to stop. He then clenched his fist tighter and crushed the remote into crumbling pieces.

"I still don't recommend this course of action," Wheelo said, "But we will comply."

Frost smiled, "Of course you will. Lord Torev, what do you think of Doctor Cash's minor objection?"

Torev's eyebrows rose slightly before narrowing again, "I don't really give a shit what you do with all the weak humans."

"But they are partially your people. You are half-human, correct?" Sorbet dared to ask.

Torev's mood darkened, "Your head will be blueberry jam if you remind me of that again." Sorbet backed up a step, though Torev made no move.

"Don't mind him, lover, he just needs to know his place," Kaon said as her hand glowed and she stroked Torev's arm. This appeared to calm him slightly, but not much. This too did not go unnoticed by all parties, but they didn't dare address it.

"Lord Torev, I have considered what you said before, and I would like you to take charge in pursuing our adversaries. Soren will assist when available, and the Kihon Corps will be at your disposal," Frost suggested. Torev glared at the Kihon Corps, most of whom where chuckling among themselves as they watched the crowd of people shuffling out.

"Great, I get to lead the rainbow scout troop," Torev grumbled in annoyance.

Frost snorted slightly, "Well, you did want to go after the Saiyans. I'm sure you will make good use of the Kihon brothers. Once we find the Saiyans, we will form a revised strategy of continued divide and conquer. I doubt I have to remind you that we should not face them as a group."

Torev rolled his eyes slightly, "Hardly." Near the door and crowd, some obscure shouting occurred, drawing their attention. The crowd was forcefully shoved out of the way as two figures emerged. One was a human girl holding a capsule in her hand, the other was a muscular alien with dark blue skin who was hobbling slightly.

"Ah, Jessica, you've returned," Wheelo said as he approached her.

Torev's glare shifted to the blue alien, "Who is that?"

"That's Captain Miruk. You met him before, Lord Torev," Sorbet claimed.

"No, it isn't," Torev warned as he shook his arm loose from Kaon.

Kaon also showed a certain amount of alert, "He's right, that isn't the same one. I can sense a different presence." Torev's hand ignited with energy as it formed into a golden Ki blade that he held tightly in preparation.

The alien immediately bowed, dragging the human Jessica down with him, "My Lord Frost, son of the great Lord Frieza, I am pleased to see you."

Frost's eyes narrowed, "I know that voice. Captain Ginyu." A series of gasps followed by silence filled the room, with some of the soldiers glancing at each other.

"Yes sir. I have been trapped on this planet since your father battled the Saiyan Goku on Planet Namek, unable to escape," Ginyu explained briefly, keeping his head down in caution.

"I see, so that is why Miruk did not report back," Frost surmised.

"I don't understand Lord Frost. Are you saying Captain Miruk is dead?" Sorbet exclaimed.

Frost smirked, "In a manner of speaking, he might be, and he might not be. What he is now is anyone's guess. Captain Ginyu of the Ginyu Force has a special ability that allows him to swap bodies with his opponent as long as he could activate the spell verbally. This allows him to swap bodies with the target, regardless of the difference in strength. The Ginyu Force could in theory overthrow an entire planet without spilling one drop of blood if they wanted to instead of a more direct military approach. In the face of danger this technique could be used to completely turn the tide of battle, or even escape unseen. A truly frightening ability unique to his race. Miruk, a member of the same race, also possessed that ability. Their race in general is not powerful, so those that had ventured off world often transferred their souls into mutant bodies of much greater strength meant for combat."

Ginyu nodded, "Yes sir. I was trapped in the body of a frog for years, unable to do anything but survive. During his battle with Vegeta, he attempted to take the Saiyan's body and I was able to intervene without Vegeta knowing what happened."

"Impressive, your combat experience and close observation of this planet will no doubt prove invaluable to us," Frost proclaimed.

Ginyu stood up and attempted to pose, though his broken leg nearly gave out, "Thank you, sir!"

Frost's face darkened, "Do not pose in front of me again. It is unbecoming of a soldier of your quality."

Ginyu straightened himself out immediately in alarm, "My apologies my lord, I meant no disrespect. Your father…"

"Is not me. He may have put up with your overly eccentric need to please him with ridiculous dances, I will not. Go with Commander Sorbet and get your body healed, you have not had time to adjust to it yet," Frost ordered.

Ginyu nearly posed again, but stopped himself and merely bowed, "Yes sir. Also, this girl has a gift for you. In exchange for her and her family's life." Frost's head turned slightly as he eyed Jessica, who was shaking in fright upon looking up at them. More so in seeing Torev's Ki Sword still ignited and his eerily similar facial expression to another Saiyan she knew of.

Frost noticed this and put his hand out, "Stand down Lord Torev." Torev didn't respond until Kaon nudged him in the side. Torev glared at Frost for a moment before extinguishing his blade and folding his arms.

"Now, come here my dear, what is this gift you and the Captain have brought?"

Wheelo stepped between them, "Jessica is one of my spies I sent to monitor Bulma and Vegeta and retrieve intel. What news do you bring?" Jessica was unable to answer as she locked eyes with Torev's glare and her lip quivered. Her grip on the capsule in her hand slipped and she dropped it, where it popped open and revealed a brown bag. The bag spilled open, revealing what was inside as the orange orbs spilled out onto the floor.

Wheelo gasped, "Shit."

Frost's eyes shifted to Wheelo briefly, "What are those?"

Ginyu reached over and grasped the bag to empty it fully, revealing the six objects with red stars, "The Dragon Balls my lord. She retrieved them out from under the Saiyans' noses."

Frost looked impressed, "Very nice my dear, so these are the elusive magical orbs my father obsessed over? They are smaller than I would've expected. How do we use them?"

Ginyu gulped slightly, "Well my lord, you need all seven of them first. She was only able to find six."

Jessica's eyes widened in horror when Wheelo stepped towards her angrily, "Where is the last ball, girl?"

Jessica shook in place as he grasped her shoulders, "I-I don't know! They found me out and switched where they were in the ship. I didn't know there were seven of them!"

Wheelo attempted to compose himself, but barely, "You're lying! Did they hide the last one? Do you know where?"

Jessica teared up, "No! I brought you what you wanted, isn't that enough? I thought they were going to kill me the whole time!"

Wheelo sighed, "Damn it, you failed me. I needed all of the Dragon Balls, just six are useless."

"You didn't tell me about these things, Mister Cash, just that you would let my parents go if I got them for you! You said I reminded you of your own daughter! You promised!" Jessica argued.

Wheelo snarled slightly and threw her aside, where she collapsed to the ground, "You can forget about your parents, girl. I will see to it they are executed by dawn!"

Jessica's eyes filled with tears, "No!"

"As for you, I will deal with you personally after this meeting concludes," Wheelo warned as he straightened his lab coat.

"You'll do no such thing," Frost said calmly.

Wheelo turned on his heel, "She's one of mine, I will deal with her."

"Interesting that you are as angry as you are after finding she didn't retrieve all of the Dragon Balls for you. I do consider it a great gift even if it is incomplete and I was unaware of it. What did you have in mind with those orbs, Doctor?" Frost asked with a hint of annoyance. Torev and Kaon took note of his shift in tone and eyed Frost, while nearly everyone else backed away from both Frost and Wheelo.

"Well, I-I merely wanted to get a potential weapon out of the hands of the Saiyans of course," Wheelo stammered.

Frost stepped forward a few paces, "Really? You wouldn't be considering using them to undermine me, would you?"

Torev's eyes widened, That didn't take long. Kaon nudged him slightly as she had been able to hear his thoughts, earning a scowl.

Wheelo nervously backed up a step, "Of course not! We are equal partners in this endeavor!"

Frost chuckled, "Equal is probably not the right word for it Doctor, but fair enough. Captain Ginyu, I expect the same level of loyalty and respect to me as you gave my father, do you understand?"

Ginyu saluted immediately, "Completely, sir!"

"Good. Now tell me Captain, is it true what these things can do? Grant any wish the caster makes?" Frost asked.

Ginyu nodded, "Yes sir, I have seen it myself. Any wish can be granted, and they are powerful enough now to grant more than one wish. However, you do need all seven balls for it to work. They will not work without all seven and the correct password to awaken the magical dragon. Fortunately, I have seen it enough times to know the password for this set of Dragon Balls."

Frost nodded, "Excellent, you have proven yourself more useful than the Doctor already. Go with the Commander now to heal." Ginyu bowed and limply followed Sorbet as Wheelo glared at them.

"Ahem, so girl, Jessica was it?" Frost asked.

Jessica stood up nervously, "Y-Yes?"

"We should discuss your reward. The Doctor here promised to release your parents from his custody. I don't see any reason why he should renege on that promise. After all, you were just doing as you were told like a good little girl," Frost said.

Jessica continued her stammering, "Y-Yes. Please Lord Frost."

"Consider it done. One such as you taking on such a dangerous mission yourself deserves a just reward, especially if the Doctor sees you in the same light as his own daughter. Where is your daughter anyway, Doctor?" Frost asked, moving away from Jessica.

Wheelo scowled, "Long dead. The Saiyans' doing."

Kaon snorted, drawing attention to herself in the process, "Doc, you really suck at lying."

Wheelo glared at her, "I'm not lying, you were there."

Kaon's teeth showed just slightly as she grinned deeply, "Yes I was. It wasn't their doing, it was yours. Also, not dead."

Wheelo's expression changed, "What are you talking about?" Kaon lifted a single finger and pointed to the door. There, standing in an empty doorway, was a single human girl with brown hair. She had a slender body, covered in a black skintight bodysuit with a blue jacket. Her nose was thin and flat, much like Wheelo's, as was the shape of her chin. What didn't match though were the piercing blue eyes that were locked onto him.

"Hello, Daddy," Kati Cash said as she stepped into the room.
