Chapter 3
"Destroy it all" yelled Confox as the Goblin warriors began terrorising the locals of Madison "in the name of our Mistress Maleficent". "Hey Mr Fox" yelled a voice and the monstrous fox turned to see Leo, James, Jack, Melody and Jessie standing atop public stairs. "If you're looking for trouble" said Jack "then look no farther" he declared only to get looks from the other teens "what it sounded good in my head" he defended. "Hahahaha" laughed Confox "and how do you scallywags plan to stop me and my friends?" he mockingly asked as the goblins crowded around him. The five exchanged looks before…"Its morphin time" said Leo "Ready" they all yelled extending their arms "Disney Power, Ranger Power ha" they all yelled as multi coloured lights washed over them and when it faded they stood tall and proud in the armour Yen Sid had shown them.
"Courage of Simba, Red Disney Ranger" said Leo.
"Heart of Tarzan, Black Disney Ranger" said James.
"Spirit of Peter Pan, Green Disney Ranger" said Jack.
"Sympathy of Ariel, Blue Disney Ranger" said Melody.
"Compassion of Fairy Godmother, Pink Disney Ranger" said Jessie.
"Power Rangers: Disney Force" the five all yelled at once as the Goblins reared back in shock. From her fortress Maleficent watched the scene unfold from the crystal on her staff in disbelief. "Inconceivable" she shrieked before narrowing her eyes "so Yen Sid thinks a few children are a match for my power, we shall see" she scoffed leaning back on her throne. "Dude how sick is this" said Jack extending his hand to James for a high five only for the newly appointed Black Ranger to cross his arms and turn away. "Right" said Jack lowering his arm. "Destroy them" yelled Confox as the goblins ran forward with axes and swords. The rangers leaped down from the stairs and began to engage the villainous creatures. "This is so cool" said Jack as he dodged a strike from one and sent a kick flying at the other. "I could get used to this" said Jessie as she summoned her staff and sent a blast of Pink energy at the goblins. "Trident of the sea: Water surge" cried Melody sending a blast of Water from both her Trident and the nearby fountain at the unsuspecting Goblins knocking the back. "Just try not to get in my way" said James as he used the spear of Protectors to knock out several at once. "And that's the last of them" said Leo as the goblins collapsed to ground before breaking apart into green ash. "So you can handle a few lackeys" said Confox drawing a sword from his Cane and swung it around creating orange smoke "but let's see you mess with this" he declared creating multiple copies of himself. "I got this" said Jack running at the closest one with his knife only for it to go right through the intended target. "What!" said Jack in disbelief as the copies grabbed him by his shoulders and hurled him into the fountain? "I'm ok, I'm ok" he said walking over to the others still dripping wet. "We can't touch them but they touch us" said Jessie in disbelief. "Yen Sid did say that Honest John was a trickster so I guess this count's" said Melody pointing her Trident at the advancing fox group. "Leo call on the instincts of Simba to guide you to the true Confox" Yen Sid's voice echoed in the Red rangers mind. "All right" said Leo summoning the Sword of Kings "here goes" he whispered closing his eyes beneath his helmet and let his other senses kick in, he could feel his hearing rise to the point he could hear the beating of Confox's heart and smell the vile breath of the fox monster in the way only a lion could. "Final strike" Leo roared lunging forward past several Confox's and struck the original with a powerful sword strike. "Hi-diddle-dee how could it be" Confox cried before disappearing in an explosion of green flame. The rangers all stared at the sight of the fallen monster in disbelief. "Did we really just do that?" asked Melody. "Yeah" said James "I think we did." All was silent until… "Awesome" cried Jack pumping his fist in the air. From her fortress Maleficent watched with narrowed eyes "enjoy your small victory" she whispered stroking her raven Diablo "the new war has only just begun. She raised her hand and summoned two new balls of dark light "let's call in some old friends" she said smiling darkly. Back at Yen Sid's tower the rangers were still in disbelief at their victory. "Man did you see that things face when I punched it" said Jack excitedly. "This hero thing may not be that bad" said Jessie high fiving Melody. James simply stood to the side with a small smile on his face. "Beware rangers" Yen Sid said gaining their attention "today was merely the beginning Maleficent still has many a dark soldiers to bring to new life and the essence of many heroes are still out there" he said turning his gaze to them all. "Many new dangers will await all of us" he said "If Maleficent is to be stopped and the lost heroes recovered then you must all work as one" he declared. The rangers all stared at one another for a brief moment before slowly bringing their hands together in a pile. "Power Rangers" they declared throwing their hands in the air
