"Did you guys hear?" said Melody as the team of now ten Rangers had lunch together at their school's cafeteria "The kids from the local elementary school are coming to use the school grounds for their annual fun fair". "I've heard it about from Trini" said James turning away from his salad "apparently she and a lot of the other kids are looking forward to seeing Jack" he said as the Ranger in question gave a cheeky smile. "It's true" said Jessica with a smile "kids love having you around" she declared fondly. "Probably because your practically still a kid yourself" said Vanessa with a smirk. "You say that like it's a bad thing" said Jack with a smirk of his own. At the Dark Fortress Gaston presented his new plan. "If we're going to wipe the Rangers out we've got to thin the herd" said Gaston "take out the weakest first and let the others fall trying to save the runt" he declared as Facilier look surprised. "That's actually a pretty decent idea" he said slowly starting to wonder why he didn't think of that. "And it just so happens I've already figured out which runt to squash" Gaston went on smugly drawing his sword and used its enchanted jewel to summon a dark essence, this particular one he gave a look of near brotherly respect "and I can think of no finer warrior more deserving of the honour to slay said Ranger then my old friend" he declared as Maleficent sent her magic at the essence. Instead of turning into a monster however the essence was transformed into…a man, this particular man wore a pair of rose pants with black shoes, a long dark red coat with a white ruffle at the neck, he was clean shaved except for a handlebar moustache and long black hair, on his hand was large crimson captains hat, at his belt was a golden rapier and were his left hand should have been was a razor sharp silver hook. "Maleficent" said Gaston as he put a hand on the shoulder of his latest summon "May I present the scourge of the Disney Sea's, the steel handed stingray: Captain James Hook". (Yeah to those of you wondering why he's himself I figured Hook is too great a villain in his own right to be made into a monster). "It's good to be back" said the famed Pirate "so my old friends, what's the challenge?" he asked. "You have been brought back to destroy the Power Rangers, or more specifically the Green Disney Ranger" said Maleficent "he carries on the legacy of an old friend of yours" she went on gesturing to his hook. Hook's face turned a violent shade of red, knowing full well who Maleficent was referring to. "I'll keelhaul that brat" said Hook before raising his hand "and I shan't need your measly goblins to do it" he declared snapping his finger causing a band of ghoul like pirate monsters to appear each one armed with cutlasses. "Meet my new crew" Hook introduced as Maleficent smiled "ready the ship you dogs" Hook commanded raising his hook in the air "It's time for piracy". At the school yard the Rangers were helping to set things up for the fun fair "and all set up, some kids from the elementary school are coming by later to check it out" said Vanessa as she and Jessica joined the other Rangers near the entrance. "It's going to be epic" cheered Jack, when suddenly they could hear a loud explosion was heard in the distance. "Aw not now" said Jack as the Rangers ran to the source of the explosion, when they reached town they saw Hook's pirate ghouls pillaging the town's stores, stealing anything they could get their hands on. "That's right my boys" laughed Hook from the roof of city hall "show this town what a Pirates life is all about". "Whose Mr moustache?" asked Traci confused? "That's CAPTAIN to you" cried Hook jumping onto the street as his Crew surrounded him "Captain James Hook, Master of the Disney Sea's and soon to be the one who made the 'mighty Power Rangers' walk the plank" he declared drawing his Sword before locking his eyes on one particular Ranger. "Crew clip that Birds wings" he roared pointing his Hook at Jack. "Me" said Jack confused before morphing alongside his Friends as the monstrous pirates attacked. "The Rangers fought with the Crew and soon defeated them, but found that Hook had escaped. The Rangers quickly headed to the Tower and saw Yen Sid looking quite disturbed. "Who was that?" asked Jessica. "And why did he target Jack especially" asked Vanessa looking concerned. "That was Captain Hook, Ruthless pirate and one of Maleficent's most dangerous allies in the old war" said Yen Sid as the mirror showed Hook and his Crew terrorizing people across the Disney world, before it shifted to the Crew battling against an army of Young Children with plaything weapons while Hook himself fought with a Teenaged boy with red hair in green with a knife "He went after Jack because Jack is the Chosen Heir of Peter Pan whom Hook feuded with over control of the mystic island of Neverland". The mirror soon alerted them to trouble in Madison. The Rangers saw that some more Pirate Ghouls had returned to the town while Hook led a separate squad of them to… "Their headed to the Fun Fair" cried Theo as the Mirror showed the visiting children had already arrived. Jack's eyes soon narrowed in fury "they mess with kids, then their mine" he declared running to the door "you guys handle the one's in town" he said as the other Rangers exchanged surprised looks, while Yen Sid smiled "just like Peter" he whispered fondly. Jack soon Morphed and arrived at the school grounds as a group of twelve kids ages ranging from nine to eleven huddled together in fear at the news of the approaching Pirate force. "Don't be scared" said the Green Ranger bending down to their level "were gonna have a little fun instead" he said as he told them his plan and how they'd help. Hook and his crew soon arrived at the school and saw that there were no children in sight. "Spread out" the Captain commanded "if you find any of the brats bring them to me" he commanded going over to a stage set up in the Centre of the courtyard and sat on the lavish throne like chair that had been included for the Mayor. The crew began searching the fair ground for any sign of the Rangers, what two of the didn't see was a trip-wire that several kids had set up and soon found themselves falling into the mud. Three others were soon ambushed by several kids on top of the booths bombarding them with water balloons. This continued for several minutes as each member of Hook's ghoulish grew was thwarted by the kids using various attractions for the fair as weapons against them. "Fight you fools" screamed Hook his face matching his coat due to his anger "we cannot lose to a pack of brats" he cried before looking at the ground as painfully humiliating memories resurfaced in his mind "again" he muttered under his breath. "That's it guys" cried Jack as he stood atop a booth shouting out commands to his young team "show them that kids rule". Soon the monstrous pirates were in full retreat, "get back here" Hook cried in outrage before turning to see the assembled kids and Green ranger staring up at the stage. "What do you want old man?" mocked Jack putting his hands on his hip in a pose quite familiar to Hook. "Just you" growled Hook pointing his namesake at the youngest Ranger. "You got me James Hook" said Jack summoning his knife and leapt onto the Stage "spirit of Peter Pan Green Disney Ranger" he introduced himself. "And the Hook is waiting, Proud and insolent youth" responded Hook drawing his Sword and swung it at Jack who countered with his knife sending a spray of sparks flying. Jack soon leaped from the stage and headed into the fairground with Hook in hot pursuit. The two duelled by several Booths which held stuffed animals, Hook began throwing the various toys at jack who nimbly managed to kick the fuzzy projectiles into the waiting hands of the Children. Hook lunged at Jack and soon had him pinned to the wall with his hook pointed below his chin, "Why the Wizard or Pan would ever pick you I can hardly guess" he whispered with a sneer "compared to the others what makes you so special, who believes in you" he taunted. Jack felt his spirit dampened at the Pirate's words as he went at his unspoken fear; not being as good as the other Rangers. "I believe in you" he heard in whisper and turned to see the children had gathered close to the scene and looked to him with encouragement and awe. "I believe in you" one whispered, "I believe in you" another whispered and the others soon took up the chant. "I believe in you" a soft voice whispered in his ear and in the corner of his eye he swore he could see a ball of light rising into the sky…and hear the sound of a bell. His strength and confidence renewed Jack took hold of Hook's arm and pushed him back into the courtyard just as his teammates arrived. "Put away your swords boys" he said as Leo and Connor drew their blades "this one's mine" he said as the Rangers formed a circle around Jack and Hook. The green Ranger and the red clad Pirate resumed their duel and the fight soon began to turn in Jack's favour as Hook's rage unbalanced him and Jack's younger age and superior speed gave him the advantage in footwork. "Sparrow strike" the green Ranger cried as a glowing Green aura encased his body as he surged through the air in a flying arc and sent Hook flying into a concession stand. The Pirate Captain managed to pick himself up, his coat covered in ketchup, mustard and soda stains and he glared as the children laughed and the Rangers pointed their weapons at him. "We'll finish this, another day" he vowed before disappearing in a flash of red light as the Children excitedly crowded around the Rangers. Hook soon returned to the dark fortress and gave Maleficent a sheepish smile and received a cold glare in return. The next day the fun fair was in full swing…with many of the children all having their faces painted green to emulate the Hero who protected them. "Come on guys" said Jack as the Rangers arrived "let's go, let's go, let's go". "Are you ever planning on growing up?" asked James with an amused smile. Jack just gave the other Rangers a smile of his own and replied "never".
