Tending to the farm themselves was a hard job for the Animals, Most of them were impeded by their disabilities, he pigs managed to think of a way round every difficulty, especially when it came to milking the cows

The morning after the battle, Wilbur and Snowball were reading one day in the barn reading, when Maggie came in.

"Hey, guys." She said. "What are you doing?"

"Hmm? Oh, we're uh just reading." Said Wilbur.

"You guys can read?" Asked Maggie.

"Not yet." Said Snowball. "But we will learn, You wanted something, Maggie?"

"Oh yeah." Said Maggie. "The cows are in pain, We need milking."

"Milking?" Asked Wilbur. "But… We need hands for that."

Snowball closed the book he was reading and sat up. "Well…" He said. "We could try, Wilbur could you help?"

"Oh yes." Said Wilbur. "I think if you showed me how I could take over."

"Alright." Agreed Snowball. "Let's get to it, Come."

So Maggie took Snowball and Wilbur to the stalls where the other cows were, Snowball pulled up a milk Bucket and placed it under the Utter, Wilbur then came up and gently hooked his hoof onto one of the squirts.

"O-okay, that's it, Easy girl." He said as he began milking the cow.

While Wilbur and Maggie oversaw the process for the other cows, Snowball and the other set to work in the fields, To bring in the Harvest in before the winter came, Boxer was the Backbone of this operation as he plowed the fields, He was a hard worker in the A.C.S. time, But now he worked like three horses in one.

"I must use all my strength." He would say.

Indeed, He was the admiration of them all, The rest of the farm work was figured out under Snowball's direction, two years passed and no more was heard from the A.C.S. Who seemed to have given up on the place and moved on to other lands.

As they did the work, The pigs counted the hay, Squealer took up the task mostly by himself with Assistance from Napoleon of course.

"Hmm, Only 25 bails of hay today." He murmured one day.

Napoleon growled. "We need more effort." He said.

A few more Months passed, And as January, 2012 rolled in Snowball continued to hold true to Old Major's Ideals setting himself to solve the Problem of Power on the Farm, While Napoleon had his own plans…

"You have sought out the Foxes?" He asked Rocko.

"Yes." Said Rocko. "They have agreed to the Alliance, Along with a few minor Parties they'll do at a pinch.

"Excellent." Said Napoleon smirking. "Once we take control, We can branch out to other Animal parties and set up our alliance, Then we can prepare for our offensive."

Just then, Snowball made a sudden announcement. "Comrades! Gather round!"

The farm animals assembled immediately.

"After some time, We have now completed, Our flag of Freedom!" Snowball announced.

Benjamin pulled back on the rope of a flagpole and a Greed flag with a Hoof and a Horn on it. "And now I present to you…" Said Snowball as the Flag unfurled and flapped proudly against the sky. "The Hoof and Horn!"

Everyone looked upon this and Cheered, Soon the word of Animalism began to spread and neighboring farms began to grow independent sentiments of their own, But they didn't really do much so… Fuck them.

In the meantime, Snowball saw to it that Education was provided for the other Animals, Though some of them were smarter than others it seemed, Mostly the Pigs and Mrs. Calloway.

Regardless, Snowball continued to see his vision for the Future, And he was not alone...

One day, Everyone was called to a meeting.

"My friends!" Scowled Napoleon. "Surely at least one of you must see, That Snowball's idea for a windmill is a waste of our labor!"

"It's not a waste!" Defended Snowball. "Once built It will ease our labors!"

Some of the assemblies agreed.

"Our Efforts must be directed to defending ourselves, Arming ourselves, Barricading our borders, and defending Animalism.

Again the voices cried out in Approval.

"No! No! For Animalism to prosper we must convert all the Animals on All the farms!" Said Snowball.

"And what good has that done so far?" Asked Napoleon. "They still do nothing as their Humans rule them, Forget about them!"

"NO!" Shouted Snowball. "We cannot ignore them! Not while they live in the chains of man, They need Animalism, We must send our Pigeons to them, To spread the word of Revolution!

"We will vote on it." Conceded Squealer. "All those in favor of Napoleon?"

Several "Ayes" Rang up.

"And all those in favor of… Snowball." Squealer asked As he lowered his voice.

Again, An Equal amount of "Ayes" Went up.

"Comrades." Said Snowball. "Think of the benefits of the Windmill, Yes it will be hard work and we may have less time to eat, But once it is complete, It could save us so much labor, It may even bring us Electricity! Imagine, A warm barn in winter, A light in every stall, And Luxury for all!"

Many of the Animals were marveled by this And began to mutter to each other in approval.

"And then we would have work, only 3 days a week!" Said Snowball

"It's a lie! Bosh! Nonsense!" Snarled Napoleon.

But Snowball ignored him. "Now All those in favor?"

A resounding "Aye" Rose up, followed by cheering from everyone, All except Napoleon, who simply stood over the plans… and Pissed all over them.

Several of the others were appalled by this, Maggie would have stormed right up and smashed him there and then If Napoleon hadn't suddenly turned to the door and squealed out!

Wilbur thought he was drying out in fright, He wasn't, The squeal was followed by barking, Very familiar barking noises that Wilbur almost seemed to recognize.

"Are those… Dogs?" He wondered.

It was. Large black ferocious dogs! They were in fact, To Wilbur's horror, Jesse's children, Who had become Napoleon's minions, They burst into the Barn and Charged straight at Snowball, Who quickly sped off with much-terrified ferocity, Out, Out the Barn they pursued him, Through the gates Through Thickets, Across the Road and up a Hill they chased him, No one knows what happened next, If Snowball was killed or simply banished, But he was never seen again…

And so it was… That Napoleon took command.

"Comrades!" He Announced as the Dogs returned, Napoleon stood atop a stack of Hay addressing everyone, which conveniently was where Old Major last lay before he died, Two dogs flanking him, Acting as guards, while the other four stood at attendance with the rest of the crowd. "Snowball is a traitor and a criminal!"

A shock and confused clamor was heard between the animals.

"But he was a brave commander." Insisted Boxer.

"Bravery! Is not enough!" Barked Napoleon, As Rocko the Cat appeared at his side. "Loyalty is what's most important, What was he really planning?"

The animals looked at each other confused.

"To bring back the Animal Cruelty Squad!" Snarled Snowball. "That's what!"

Everyone gasped.

"Lies!" Shouted Mrs. Calloway. "All lies!"

"No NO!" Protested Rocko. "It is true! He was conspiring for their return!"

"You see how clever Napoleon has been, my friends?" Asked Squealer as he slunk between the crowds. "Of course he's not against the windmill, In fact, it was his own Idea, He just pretended to oppose it to flush out Snowball for the traitor he is, Tactics friends."

"There will be no more Useless meetings." Continued Napoleon. "No more endless debates, From now on, I alone will decide all aspects of animal farm!"

"What?!" Cried, Wilbur.

The ANimals all cried out in Protest and Outrage immediately.

"That's not fair!"

"NO!"

"NO!"

"You can't!"

"That's not right."

"No, it isn't!"

"You can't do this!"

"SILENCE!" Bellowed Napoleon. "Now, I will tell you of our plan for Animal farm."

"Our plan?" Asked Grace.

A large shadow crept into the barn at this mention, Napoleon didn't answer Mrs. Calloway's question, he just smiled and then…

"It's time you were all introduced to.

Your leader's executive staff."

Several more shadows crept into the Barn as Napoleon sang.

"Perhaps not the kind you've been used to.

But certainly, game for a laugh."

A low menacing cackle was heard through, As the dark shapes came into the light as Foxes, That slunk out and circled the farm animals as they sang.

"We'd like to assure you, your safety.

A new bread of security.

To call us the bad guys is treason."

The Largest Fox then jumped out and sang "For we are here for your own good!"

"SO PREPARE FOR A GLORIOUS FUTURE!" Sang Napoleon. "Be prepared for the Farms golden age!"

"It's like any other!" Sang Todd. "To scapegoat a Cap-GCK!"

Attila and Evita grabbed him by the snot.

"If we don't spread rumors." Sang Evita.

"They'll beat us and bruise us!" Whispered Attila.

"With friends in high places,

We all know the aces!"

"So don't dare to rattle our cage." Sneered Voracious.

"Oh imagine if anyone dared!

"BE PREPARED!"

"Oh imagine if anyone dared!"

"Be Prepared…"

Napoleon's eyes shone with evil as everything faded to black.

To be Continued.
