Ch 6
Iron-Man tracked Whiplash to Living Laser's hideout but the place was empty. Suddenly, the lights went out and Whiplash charged at Iron-Man with his electro-whips. Iron-Man deployed a very large missile in his shoulder. It was the Ex-Wife missile. The weapon powered up and fired...but didn't do anything except make a tiny dent in Whiplash's control harness. Whiplash chuckled.
"Whatever." Iron-Man said.
Iron-Man fired his repulsors but Whiplash deflected them with his electro-whips. Whiplash wrapped around a piece of debris and threw it at Iron-Man. Iron-Man blasted it with his repulsor and sent Whiplash flying with his Unibeam. Whiplash grabbed Iron-Man's leg with his whip and threw him into several concrete columns, causing heavy damage to Iron-Man's suit as he fell down. Iron-Man tried to use his EM Charge Cannon but Whiplash's electro-whips only absorbed the electricity and gave them more energy. Whiplash tried to strike Iron-Man but he dodged and kicked the villain in the face, following up with 5 repulsor blasts.
"What your father did to my father in 14 years, I will do to you in 40 minutes." Whiplash sneered.
"Sounds good. Let's get together and hash it out." Iron-Man replied.
Iron-Man burned Whiplash's face with his jet exhaust but Whiplash struck him in the shoulder before wrapping both electro-whips around him. The hero's suit was sparking as he knelt down on one knee from the pain the electricity caused. Whiplash smiled as he saw his enemy defeated.
"Now I will destroy you." Whiplash said.
"It's now or never." Iron-Man said to himself. Iron-Man fired his Unibeam at Whiplash, sending the villain soaring up into the air and crashing into the ceiling lights. Whiplash screamed as he was electrocuted and fell down, dead.
"Alrighty, that was for the crazy whip guy." Iron-Man said. "Now for Mr. Glow Man." Iron-Man had to find and defeat Living Laser before it was too late.
