My eyes lifted slowly, as I groggily got up from.. A bed? Looking around I had noticed that I wasn't on the street anymore, but apparently in someone's apartment. It was a pretty cozy apartment from the looks of things, the bed was a wooden bed with a quilt blanket, there was a little wooden closet to the right of the bed, and a door on the right wall of the closet, opposite the bed a little chair and desk with nothing in particular on it besides some floor was covered by a clean looking light brown carpet and to finish of the room, there was a tiny window to the direct left of the bed, the bed itself being centered in the corner opposite the door, facing the desk.
After taking a look around, I noticed the riolu was nowhere to be seen, I panicked for a moment, and removed the blanket from my body. I was about to get off the bed when I noticed a multitude of bandages covering me, and it was finished off with some gauze on my legs. So… It seems the person who took me in also bandaged me in my sleep. I got up off the bed finally, and limped to the door. I willed myself to open the door and accidentally threw it open.
I pushed myself out of the door frame and into another hallway, before losing energy and crashing to the ground, which was not covered in carpet, unfortunately. A loud thud echoed the apartment, and my mystery savior arrived. "Oh dear, why would you get up? You need all the rest you can get, please get back to bed" Suddenly I felt myself get lifted up and supported by her arms and back into the room, where she helped me onto the bed… wait, she?
Finally getting a good look at her , I saw a feminine figure… Was it the girl who I begged for help? "Are… are you alright?" Her voice was smooth and gentle, it sounded like an angel… I shook my head and replied "Yeah… I'm fine, but what about the riolu I was carrying? Are they safe?" She giggled for a moment, before answering "Yes the riolu is quite alright. They're at the poke center being healed right now. It sure was lucky you got it there, any second later and you both could have died". I smiled for a moment, relaxing my body. "So.. how did you both end up hurt, if I may ask…" I sighed for a moment, before sitting on the bed to lift my upper body up…
After finally finishing the story (and leaving out the details about how I got into the forest/arrived in this world), I heard a loud gasp "You poor thing, I certainly hope the riolu is alright, it sounds like a poacher was going to get it. I'm really surprised though, you took a dragon claw AND ember to the face.. And also met xerneas, that's incredible". I chuckled, taking in the compliments."Yeah I know, it was a surprise for me too, it's too bad xerneas couldn't heal us at the time though…"Suddenly I felt a hand grab onto my relaxed hand, and I shuddered.
The woman was smiling so warmly at me and had such a gentle touch, and was also so smooth… I truly am blessed to be saved by her" Without noticing, I was lost in thought of how good the moment felt, and then a few seconds later my dream world was interrupted. "Well, I want you to know that you can stay here for as long as you need, a hero like you deserves it.. My name's Amber by the way!" She beamed at me, and that was the moment I could tell she was genuine.
"You have a beautiful name Amber, my name is Bahamut and I thank you for your hospitality, and also for presumably patching me up." "Bahamut.. Huh? That's a very unique name.. And also, it was no problem stitching you up, especially considering.. What you carry with you" Suddenly I blushed a deep crimson, but then I heard her laugh "I'm only kidding, I left your boxers on when I fixed you up, I was only teasing you."
I sighed for a moment, before replying "Heh.. well jokes aside, I think I wanna go check on the riolu.. Do you mind walking with me to the poke center to make sure I don't fall" Amber hesitated for a moment, before realizing you were going regardless so she might as well tag along."Sure, let's go".Amber patiently waited for me while I put on my clothes, which somehow were put back together and cleaned thoroughly; Amber truly is amazing... A while later we ended up at the poke center, albeit with some difficulties.
