Schreave Palace. Province of Angeles. 2 Months into selection.

Melody decided that her next date would be with Lily St. James. It was decided that the two would watch a movie in the viewing room. Lily had said that she was big fan of romantic comedies; a genre of films that the crown Princess herself happened to be a fan of. A film was chosen and the two women settled in to watch.

"I know it may be cheesy, but I love it the whole happily ever after thing; you know, when the lovers come together." Lily remarked as she turned in her seat to face Melody.

"That's a relief, I thought that I was the only one." Melody said as she heaved a sigh. Lily could not help but chuckle at the princess's remark as they continued to watch the movie. They were both silent for a few minutes as they watched the film. It was considerably cheesy, but they both were enjoying in spite of, or because of it's cheesiness. Eventually, the ice had to be broken and it was miss St. James who decided to break it.

"So, have you been on any other good dates recently?" Lily inquired as Melody shrugged. She had been on a few dates and for the most part, they had been enjoyable. However, there was one that stuck out in her mind as being unpleasant.

"A few...the most recent one was with that mountain climber from Belcourt." Melody replied as she remembered the hike from not quite Hell.

"You mean Rana?" Lily asked as she did remembering seeing Ranamaya Bhattachan around the other females of the selection. She was a very pretty girl, but she had not really gone out of her way to interact with any of the other selected; except Teddy Madden who she had seemingly made friends with.

"Yeah, we went hiking in the woods and...it could have gone better." the Princess replied wistfully.

"Why, what happened?" Lily inquired, unable to turn away from hearing gossip.

"Nothing really...it's just that...she seemed actively disinterested in me." Melody explained as Lily shook her head in disbelief.

"How in the world could anyone be disinterested in you?" she asked with a chuckle. "You are smart, you are nice. You are breathtaking beautiful and you are the freaking princess of Illèa!" Melody blushed at Lily's words as she put her head down.

"Well thank you." Melody said as she smiled at Lily. A few moments passed before Lily leaned in and kissed the Princess on the lips. Melody was surprised for a brief moment before shrugging and returning the kiss. The movie contained to play as the two girls made out in the theater.

Later that day.

While Lily and Melody were having their little make out session at the movies, another couple was having some intimate time of their own. Theodore Madden and Ranamaya Bhattachan had snuck into the royal pool area and were relaxing in the hot tub in their bathing suits while kissing passionately. Eventually, they had to come up for air; as it were.

"Teddy...we can't keep doing this." Rana insisted as she inched away from her swim suited lover.

"Why the Hell not, you said you like me?" Teddy responded with surprise as he had no desire to stop doing what they were doing.

"I do like you...but come on Teddy, you can't be a schmuck about this." she replied.

"How is that, does making out with a beautiful girl make me a schmuck?" he shot back.

"When it can literally get you killed, yes it does." Rana explained.

"Oh come the Hell on." Teddy scoffed.

"It is treason Teddy!" miss Bhattachan exclaimed as she slapped the water. "We are supposed to be here for Princess Melody, she is the one who is looking for a spouse!"

"Do you really want to lose your virginity to that blonde baby bitch?" Mr. Madden asked with a snicker.

"Of course not, but if we get caught, we will both get sent to the block." Rana answered as she shot daggers at him.

"Then we will not get caught." Teddy reassured her as he pulled Rana closer to him.

"Are you sure?" the mountain climber asked desperately as she looked away.

"Positive." the student answered as he tilted her chin so that she was facing him. "We just have to lay low until we both get eliminated from the selection and then maybe we wait a month or so, then we can date openly."

"What if people think that we were dating during the selection?" Rana pointed out.

"So what, we will deny it and they will have no prove, only suspicions; it will be their word against ours." Teddy remarked as he brushed off her concerns.

"All right." Rana said as she relented with a small smile. Teddy smiled as he leaned in and kissed her, having regained her consent.

"You have no idea how badly I want you." he smirked as Rana ran her fingers over his wet body.

"I'm sure that I have an idea." she replied with a grin as sat on his lap as their tongues meshed together in a storm of passion.
