Sacremento Playhouse. Province of Angeles. 2 months and 4 weeks into the selection.

Lucrezia Bellincioni had been craving some one on one time with Princess Melody. So, when the Princess showed up at her bedroom door requesting a date, it was all she could do to keep from jumping for joy. Being a huge star on the stage, Lucrezia naturally suggested that she and Melody attend a Broadway show for their first official date.

The two women were escorted to the theater in a limo with royal guards accompanying them. Thanks to her majesty, Queen Jessamine, the entire theater had been cleared and Melody and Lucrezia would be treated to a private showing. The performance that they were seeing was a musical that was also a romantic comedy. Being that it was her favorite genre, Melody was quite pleased. As for Lucrezia, she could not have cared less for what the performance was about or which genre it belonged to. This was her chance to put herself in the lead above the remaining 9 selected and she was prepared to do whatever she had to in order to achieve the advantage she sought. As they watched the performance, Melody could not help but steal a kiss every now and then from Lucrezia, which she was happy to allow. After the show had finished, the two women were taken back to the palace and were beaming over the good time they'd had.

"That was so wonderful!" Melody exclaimed as she sat in the back, holding hands with Lucrezia. "It has been so long since I have seen a musical!"

"It would have been far better if I had been in it though." The actress remarked as she pressed a kiss to the hand of her royal date.

"I am sure it would have been." The Princess agreed. "Sadly, I have never seen one of your performances, but every critic in Waverly was singing your praises." Miss Bellincioni could not help but blush at the compliment. As she leaned against Melody's shoulder, she debated whether or not to share some gossip with the heir to the Illèan throne. There had been some rumors going around that the guy from Dakota and the girl from Belcourt had gotten close; too close perhaps. Lucrezia would have loved to expose them, but she knew that someone as sweet and as trusting as Princess Melody would not believe it without proof. She would simply have to wait and see if she could confirm or deny the rumor.

Schreave Palace. Province of Angeles. Later that evening.

While Crown Princess Melody Schreave was out on her date with Lucrezia Bellincioni, King Maxon II was having a meeting his prime minister and it was by no means going well.

"When you said that you were toying around with the idea of bring back the caste systmem, I assumed that you were saying it in anger." Prime minister Tybalt Tyler remarked as the King handed him the bill.

"This is the bill that calls for the re-establishment of the caste system, I want it passed." King Maxon II replied as the prime minister rubbed his temples in frustration.

"Your majesty, I beg of you not to do this thing. The people will never accept it." Tybalt begged

'I am the King, they will do as I command them." Maxon shot back.

"The most likely scenario is that this bill will be mercy killed before it even comes up for a vote. The liberals will vote against it, the socialists will vote against it, and even if you got every conservative seat in the King's congress to vote for it, which you will not...it would not be enough to get it passed." Prime minister Tyler explained.

"Then I will I use my executive privilege and declare the caste system returned in a royal proclamation!" Schreave snarled.

"If you do that, the people of Illèa will see it as a declaration of war! I know that you crave law and order above all else, but if you do this, you will have anarchy on your hands!" Tyler pleaded.

"I command the strongest army on Earth, I think that I can handle some dissenting commoners." The King argued. Tybalt was silent for a moment before taking a stand.

"I will not submit that bill to the King's Congress." He insisted as Maxon stared him down.

"Oh you won't?"

"No I won't. I will not let you stand here and ruin my political career." At this Maxon angrily pinned his prime minister to the wall.

"Listen to me, you common shit!" He spat. "It is because of me that you have a political career. I gave it to you as a present for your support in helping me consolidate my power and I can take it back so fast it would make your head spin." He pushed Tybalt to the floor as the man moved to leave Macon's office.

"Hear this my king, if you keep going on the way you are, there will not be a throne for your wife or your daughter to sit on." Prime minister Tyler exclaimed as he made a hasty exit before the tyrant could lay hands on him again.
