Though it may be the last thing she does in Arda, Arwen will not abandon her husband's sword to rust and ruin.

OC protagonists OC races mixed with canon. Fic is set during the events of Return of the King, in the near northern regions hugged by the White Mountains. Broadly dealing with the plunders of the Uruk-hai remnants, it follows a squadron of creatures called Grufflings, who split to aid Bree and take sweet magic weapons from a vacant Lorien. Rated T for violence and some intimacy

Part 2 of What It Means to be a King: In the cold cave of Forochel, Sauron rises again. Using his prior experience with the Elves, Sauron seduces Celebrimbor to make the Rings of Power. And in the east of the Misty Mountains, Thranduil returns to his father and learns the meaning of joy again, unaware that Sauron never forgets nor does he forgive.

Outside of the Fellowship's story more dangers arise for Middle Earth. Follow the journey through the dark times towards the future, as evil is defeated and Middle Earth thrives once again.
