Harry was laying on the floor in his cupboard under the stairs in too much pain to crawl up the almost flat mattress. There were tears in his eyes and his glasses had been punched into his eyes causing them to bleed. He couldn't see and could barely breath as he heard the voices of his Aunt and Uncle.
"Vernon, I think you and Dudley might have gone too far this time." He heard through the locked door.
"Hush pet. He always heals in under two days no matter what we do. Maybe this time he will not use any of that freakish magic his crazy father had."
"But Vernon, his eyes could be blind now. How would we explain away that?"
"The boy was already almost blind. Once the cuts heal it would simply be a case of his eyes deteriorating. Now I wont have any more of this talk. it's time for bed." Harry took a deep, painful breath and began to think. If he had magic, than maybe he could get some help. He began to try to ignore the pain and think of all the magical fairies and such that he had watched in movies at the babysitter's house.
"If I have a fairy godmother, please help me get as far from here as I can. That is my wish." He said before he felt a drain and passed out. In the department of mysteries the veil of death, which was inaccurately named, pulsed as it chose one of it's millions of dimensions to connect in response to the 'accidental' magic of the young Potter boy.
Line break
The enchantress frowned at the family of three. Adam had certainly learned his lesson about judging books by the cover when Belle had broken the curse on him and the staff. That she had never been hunted to be put on the isle showed he held no ill will. However the children on the isle did not deserve what they were going through. She was brought out of her musings by the portal in her living room pulsing with power. Walking over she froze as she found a boy of no more than five appearing like he was beaten within an inch of his life. Her wand was in her hand in an instant as she cast spell after spell on the magical child. Once he was out of the woods she took a seat and levitated him to the couch. As she was wondering what to do with the boy she glanced at the enchanted frame showing the family of three and smiled.
"Another test then. I wonder how he will fare with this one?" She chuckled, knowing that even if he might fail. There is no way the queen would reject a child. She lifted the child in her arms and walked through the portal as it pulsed in response to her commands.
The front gate of the castle glowed as a beautiful enchantress appeared and walked slowly to the door of the castle. Guards held spears and swords in her direction as screams rang out in response to the magic that is not accepted anymore. She ignored the guards and placed the boy on the steps and waved her hand summoning a note. Placing the note on the boy she turned with a smirk and snapped her fingers. In a flash of light she was gone. A female guard dropped her spear and ran to the child to begin to check him over. After seeing he was not dead or injured she attempted to wake him to no avail. She lifted the boy with a frown as the letter fell to the ground.
"I am bringing him to the hospital. Someone give the note to his majesty." She said before running for the castle cars to get the boy checked over.
In another part of the castle a few minutes later Lumiere brought a letter with shaking hands to the king and queen who were playing with their five year old son.
"She came again." The former candlestick said hesitantly as the family turned to him.
"The Enchantress appeared again. She left a boy and this note on the steps." He held out the note with severely shaking hands before the king took it and opened it.
King Adam,
I know you must be nervous for me to have come again. Although I appreciate you not hunting me down, not that I truly live in your dimension let alone country. I find myself upset that you have abandoned all logic in place of fear. You have hunted down everyone who you deemed evil and placed them on the isle before removing magic from them. Even going to the point of reviving some in case your friends have regrets about killing them. Because some used magic you decided magic was evil and forgot that many of the heroes you call friends had magic throughout their story. You are playing a dangerous game. The boy was beaten withing an inch of his life. If I had hesitated to use magic he would have died after I found him. He is magical himself and from his memories I found his guardians punished him for it. Your second test begins now. The spell I have on the boy will allow him to wake tomorrow at noon.

As the king finished reading he looked to his worried wife. Without a word he handed over the letter with a now worried son not understanding. As Belle finished she looked to him.
"What are we waiting for? We need to help this child, test or not he is a child." Adam frowned.
"Belle we already have Ben, we need to think about who should adopt the boy." Belle shook her head.
"Remember when the doctor said I couldn't have another child? This is our chance for a bigger family." Adam sighed before giving a nod to her.
"Ok honey, but he will not take Ben's place as the crown prince." She rolled her eyes.
"Of course not, but we have the love he needs and can easily support another child." He nodded with a deep breath.
Harry POV movie time
I was really excited about the introduction of four new students today. That they were from the isle just made it better. Mom and Adam were worried. But I trusted Ben. The magic that swirled whenever he looked at the list told me there was more in play than it seemed. Currently I was relaxing in my dorm thinking about my life since I arrived here. After I woke up in the hospital the king and queen had adopted me and I gained a brother. At least once a month I had a dream where I could talk to the enchantress that saved me. She had started to teach me magic immediately, but Mom explained it scared people like Adam, so I needed to stick with the small stuff unless it was an emergency. Adam had never really come around to love me, but he was still a million times better than my uncle. Mom though had been amazing since I woke up. Her and Ben were all the family I needed and I had no complaints about them. I shook my head as the door opened up.
"Come on Harry, why are you still in here, the isle students arrive in like ten minutes." I rolled my eyes as I stood up. Fine I am coming." I replied as I followed him out the door summoning my jacket from the corner as he rolled his eyes.
"Sometimes I wonder if you use magic because you enjoy it, or because your lazy." I laughed at him.
"Come on bro you like it." I said with a smirk as he went wide eyed.
"No, Harry no!" He yelled with a smirk as he took off down the hall with me hot on his tail before I jumped at him on the stairs and teleported to the grass outside with a barely audible crack as we burst into laughter. A quick spell and we no longer had wrinkles or dirt on our clothes.
Walking up behind Fairy Godmother(FG) she rolled her eyes with a smirk.
"Enjoy the tube ride?" I laughed as Ben did the same. Audrey huffed next to Ben.
"You need to stop using magic, it is not supposed to be used for things like that." I rolled my eyes.
"Audrey, you need to stop being a condescending..." FG clamped a hand over my mouth.
"Harry, no name calling." I sighed as she let go.
"And Audrey, you know there is no law against it. The crown just doesn't want it flaunted in front of everyone." I met Ben's eyes and he took a breath.
"Audrey I have been thinking lately and I don't..."
"Oh Ben you just have a soft spot for your orphan brother. Don't worry I understand." I shook my head and rubbed my eyes. Ben sighed.
"No, Audrey, you never let..."
"I let you do a lot of things Benny Boo, now, I think the car is coming up the drive, time to get ready." She then made a shoo motion at me and turned to where the limo was going to be parking. I took a deep breath and saw the apologetic look on FG.
"So she can call me an Orphan, but I cant call her anything?' She sighed.
"Unfortunately, if you remember, I tried to punish her last time and her grandmother came here and almost fired me for getting upset with an accurate noun. All the wile calling me fairy." I shook my head.
"Sorry, I did forget about that."
"It's ok it..."
"Fairy Godmother come on, the Limo is pulling up now." I rolled my eyes at the bitch and went inside to the main hall.
I watched as the group all entered the hall and smiled. There was a purple haired beautiful girl and a blue haired beauty as well. The boys had white and long black hair respectively and all four wore leather. I walked up just in time to hear Her cut off Ben to say.
"Ask Doug." I rolled my eyes.
"They could ask me if they want to. Really I think the only person in the school who doesn't want to meet them is you." She glared at me.
"Come on Benny bear." She grabbed his hand and pulled him away.
"Harry, I..." He was yanked before he could finish. I shook my head and turned to Doug.
"Think she is ever going to let him finish a sentence long enough to break up with her." He snapped his head from the blue haired one to me.
"Um, no I don't think so. Lonnie mentioned it to her before. I think that is part of the problem." I shrugged.
"He will get his head out of his butt eventually." I looked to the four before looking around seeing nobody, but them and Doug.
"My name is Harry, nice to meet you all. If you see me around and have a question feel free. If you are magical, try not to use it in public, people freak out. See you later Doug, I am taking the express to get some food." He smirked and nodded as I disappeared with a crack.

I was coming back from a late night snack run when I saw the white haired boy ducking around a corner. I smiled at the thought of something interesting happening, and I began to walk out behind them.
"Accio broomstick." I said with a smirk as I excited the building and my broom hit my hand. A concealing spell and I was in the air following the shockingly quick moving group. When we arrived at the museum I rolled my eyes. FG had predicted this perfectly. Swooping down I hid my broom in a tree before jumping down and watching them. I was so close to laughing my head off when the long haired one fell on the floor trying to kick the door in. I checked the pulse of the guard and nodded that he was just asleep.
I followed them into the hall of villains where they were all shocked to see their parents looking like that. When all but the purple haired one left I revealed my self as she stared at Maleficent.
"What made you think the first night was a good idea?" She jumped up and turned to me as I took a few steps up next to her with a smirk.
"I would have thought you guys would wait a few days so we think your nice and stuff." She narrowed her eyes.
"Harry, Right?" I nodded. "Are you going to tell on us?" I shook my head.
"Nah, FG called this already. She doubled security on all the objects in here. Thank you for not killing the guard by the way. He is a nice guy." She rolled her eyes.
"What kind of a hero doesn't turn in the villains?' I smiled at her.
"The same one that followed you all from the school and listened. Your Mal, Blue hair is Evie, long hair is Jay, and white is Carlos. Blue has a magic mirror, Jay is the brawn. You have a spell book I assume was your mother's. Not sure where Carlos ties in yet." She took a deep breath.
"Who are you?" I chuckled.
"Harry." She rolled her eyes.
"Yes Doug told us that you are a wizard named Harry. No matter who we asked though all we could find out was that you were raised with Ben." I chuckled.
"Mysteries are fun." She narrowed her eyes.
"How did you do the teleporting thing?" I chuckled.
"Perhaps I should wait until I am sure your gonna behave to teach you." I said before stepping back and concealing myself with a 'notice me not' spell once again. Seconds later Evie came around the corner.
"Mal, come on we found it." She looked around trying to find me. I chuckled silently and went outside to go back to the dorms.
Time Skip
The next day I was walking around after classes when I ran into a widely smiling Jane with long...hair? I shook my head as I walked up to her.
"Did your mom finally let you lengthen your hair?" I asked with a smile of my own.
"It looks pretty good." She blushed crimson.
"Mal did it. She also told me how to convince my mom to do more. I think I might actually be able to do it." I frowned.
"Jane I told you before. Your pretty. Why worry about it?" She shook her head.
"Harry, you know I never compared to Audrey, or Lonnie. This is my chance." I rolled my eyes.
"That is messed up. Believe in yourself more." She shook her head and played with her hair.
"I need to talk to mom." She said before walking past me. I took a deep breath and glared at nobody. I began to go to the dorms.
I knocked on the door to the female VKs dorm and waited. When Mal opened the door I walked in as her eyes went wide.
"Lets get one thing strait" I said stalking in as she stepped back. With a wave of my hand the door shut behind me.
"I know you want a powerful object. I didn't say anything to anyone. Jane is the nicest person you will ever meet. I just saw her with long hair and appearing confident. I compliment her and instantly she begins to talk about talking her mom into using her wand to fix everything about her face." By this point I was in her face as her back was against the wall.
"If your gonna do a heist here, you gonna do it without lowering peoples self esteem. You wanna manipulate, fine. Making them think they are less than they are." I shook my head.
"That is where I draw the line. You wanna be like your mother, keep pushing. Instead of a mortal king and queen you will get a wizard as your enemy." The door opened.
"Mal, I talked to… Harry?" I glared as her causing her to gulp, but I spotted the backpack.
"If that is Chad's backpack be careful. He currently has four girls he gets to do things for him. He doesn't date anyone because he wants Audrey." I turned back to Mal and held up three fingers.
"Museum." I put down one. "Jane." I put down another. "Don't get to zero. I do not like bullies." With that, while in her face I teleported with a loud crack back to my room. I laid down in my bed as memories of Dudley and my uncle went through my head. I curled into a ball and took deep breaths.
Line Break
Ben found me curled up and sat down next to me.
"What happened?" I shook my head.
"Flashbacks. Am I a bully if I threaten a bully?" He sighed.
"Who is Chad messing with now?" I sighed.
"Evie, but that isn't the point." He sighed.
"Should I call Mom and Dad?" I laughed.
"Adam wouldn't care. Mom would try to make me feel better before talking to Cinderella again." He sighed. The door was suddenly knocked on as Ben sighed. When he opened the door Audrey walked in and smirked.
"Oh, he is having a bad day. That's sad. Ben I need you to..." Ben held up a hand.
"Audrey we need..."
"I know that why I came to get you it's time to go shopping for the coronation." I laughed and stood up.
"Ok bitch, I am not in the mood to deal with you. Your gonna shut your mouth and listen to Ben say a full sentence or I spell him to not be able to leave the room and you know he wont charge me with anything." She opened and shut her mouth a few times before looking at Ben.
"Benny Boo he threatened me." He took a breath.
"We are breaking up. I am done with you insulting my brother, and acting like your in charge of everyone." She stood there mouth open until Ben shut the door with her on the outside. I laid back down. I heard a faint ringing.
"Hi mom, no I am great actually. I just broke up with Audrey. Harry though is going through something and I think you would have more luck helping than I would. Ok I will tell him. Love you too mom." "Mom says for you to teleport to your room for her to talk to you." I sighed and stood before giving him a hug.
"Ben, thank you." He chuckled.
"What are brothers for? Remember to focus." I nodded and teleported to my room at the palace.
Time Skip
Mom kept me home for three days to calm down. So now I was walking into the new class, Goodness 101, to give FG a note to excuse my absences. Mom talked through everything with me even though I didn't mention who the bully was or what they did. Mom was really the only person who could easily talk me through things when I get like that. Opening the door to the class everyone looked to me as I walked up the middle while smiling at FG.
"Harry, I am glad your back. Do you have a letter for me?" I nodded.
"Yes I do, signed and everything. Sorry for missing school." She nodded sadly.
"It's ok I understand." I knew she did too. Mom had asked her for help a few times when I was little and my magic reacted because of the flashbacks. Looking at the board I smirked.
"Your asking questions like that?" She sighed as the isle kids chuckled.
"Yes, I think… Ok your face says you are holding back a sarcastic comment." Sure enough, I was.
"Your literally ripping off what Maleficent did to Aurora. Why not give them a random situation and ask them each for their responses. Than talk through it." She blinked for a moment before smirking.
"Very well then. I have some paperwork to do. Why don't you take over for the remaining ten minutes?" I sighed as she giggled and stepped down before taking a seat right behind the four as I face palmed and shook my head. Stepping up to the podium I narrowed my eyes at the smirking fairy. Turning to the board I waved a hand to clear it before I made the chalk begin to write.
"Harry, you shouldn't..." I turned with a smile.
"Sorry, but while I am teaching, I believe a raised hand is the proper way to address the teacher." She shook her head, but smiled back as the chalk finished.
"Now, you come across a classmate who has a skill you wish to learn. What do you say to them? Jay, you first." He went wide eyed before clearing his throat.
"I would tell him I want to know how to do that?" I waved my hand and the chalk wrote it.
"Carlos?" He gulped.
"Try to figure out how it is done so I can do it as well?" Another wave.
"Evie."
"Ask how you did it?"
"Mal?" She narrowed her eyes.
"Say, can you show me how you do it?" I smirked as the answer wrote on the board.
"None of you got the extremely correct answer, however you all did say a correct answer. Being polite is about more than words. For the record, FG can you give us the correct answer, word wise?" She smiled.
"Can you please explain to me how to do that?" I rolled my eyes.
"Correct and wrong." She frowned as the kids went wide eyed.
"When you use big words without needing to than you give off the impression you think your entitled to it. What I was looking for is, Can you please tell me how you did that?" Carlos immediately made a note in his notebook and I smirked. So he is the brains. I looked to Mal.
"Mal, I want to know how you lengthened Jane's hair." I said with venom. Everyone jumped back including FG. Then I smirked and cleared my throat and said it as nice as I could.
"Mal, I would love to know how you lengthened Jane's hair." The four blinked at each other and FG softly smiled. I applied the venom again.
"Evie, how do you make those clothes?" It sounded like she did it wrong and I could see the panic behind her eyes.
"Evie, how did you make those clothes, they look awesome?" Now they were all looking at each other.
"Jay, Show me how you stole Carlos's Pen." His eyes went wide as everyone snapped to him. I smiled.
"Jay, how did you sneak Carlos's pen away without him seeing you." They all looked back to me and FG ignored the papers in front of her and watched me as I rolled my eyes. I stepped to the side.
"Carlos, your isn't easy to show. And in case nobody caught on, I just showed two of the hundreds of variations of what you gave me. Mal, I used Jay's answer for you. How did you feel after the first? And don't try to be the tough isle girl, we all already saw you panic." She took a breath.
"I thought I was in trouble and was going to be sent back." I nodded.
"And the second time?" She took a breath.
"Like you were impressed and jealous." I chuckled and nodded as she smiled.
"Correct and that change was by the voice and changing what two words. For the record though, impressed yes, jealous no." She pouted and I smiled to Evie.
"Your turn, I used your idea on you." She took a breath before answering.
Line Break
"I am impressed Harry, you did really good in there." I sighed at the FG as we walked out after the VKs.
"Thank you FG. I really am sorry I missed school." She sighed.
"Was there any backlash? Ben already replaced your sheets." I shook my head.
"I fixed it all. Sorry about the sheets. Was it the teleporting?" She shook her head.
"You sheets all fused together. My guess is you were upset about Audrey." I sighed.
"Among other things." She smiled.
"Your a remarkable boy, never forget that." I nodded with a deep sigh and separated from her.
Line break
I sat at a table eating my lunch before the start of the afternoon classes when the isle kids all sat surrounding me with the boys on each side of me. I laughed.
"Mal and Evie might have magic, but Jay hasn't unlocked his dijinn heritage and I have more control. I wouldn't try anything if I were you."
"You threatened me." Mal said before I nodded.
"I did."
"Then you left for three days." I ate another bite and nodded.
"Nobody around here threatens anyone, your supposed to be heroes." I laughed.
"And I suppose you think the world is black and white. Us verses them, heroes and villains, good and evil." I met Mal's eyes and smiled.
"Think about the class today. I was removed from my aunt and uncle, my only living family, by an enchantress." They all had wide eyes Clearly thinking it was evil.
"If she didn't, I would be blind at the best and dead at the worst. She saved my life." Her face told me she had no idea what to say.
"The only way I could come to grips with this was to talk to a therapist. I came to the conclusion there are only two ways to live your life to the fullest. Morally, and immorally. Jay stealing my wallet from my pocket is immoral to me. It would make me feel like shit if I did it." Jay blinked before putting my wallet on the table without a word. I put it back.
"He grew up different, so it is moral for him. If he decides he likes it here and that he would feel bad than he can change his morals. Aurora was innocent, Aladdin was a kid with a dream, Snow White didn't ask Grimhide to marry her father. They were innocent. That is why I feel your parents deserve to be on the isle. You all deserve a chance to see what happens, if you choose your own morals." I finished my food and let that sink in.
"Harry, you, um, didn't mention mom." Carlos said with a sad expression.
"Your mom is a complicated case. Apart from the stealing, her victims were animals. I cannot in good conscious say she deserves the isle while I sit here eating meat. Her actions with her minions and the refusal to simply buy the dead pets makes me want to punch her in the face. However while she is a bitch, she isn't as evil as most that were sent. To me anyway." I took the last bite of my food. A girl came up behind Mal.
"Lonnie said Mal took money to make her hair longer." Mal turned to her and she smiled.
"Mal, how much would you charge me?" I rolled my eyes and waved my hand with a deep focus. Her hair lengthened till it was just under her shoulders and curly. She felt it and smiled at me.
"Thank you Harry." I nodded as Mal turned back to me with wide eyes.
"Your welcome Veronica. Thank your mom for me, any idea how close she is?" She giggled.
"Dad is working on the suspension, then he is going to send it to the school for you." I nodded.
"Don't forget to eat some protein, magic doesn't come free, your body supplied the ingredients." Her eyes went wide.
"Thank you Harry, do you think that's why Lonnie was so tired the next day?" I chuckled.
"Probably, FG has Jane on a steady diet so I know her protein would be fine." She curtsied and left the table with a smile. Mal looked to me with an open mouth as I laughed and stood up.
"Like I said, impressed, not jealous." I walked out of the courtyard with a chuckle as I saw them all glancing at each other.
Dreamscape
I woke up and immediately began to smile at being in my room at Agatha's house. I ran into the living room to see her smiling at me.
"Hello Harry, how have you been?" I chuckled as I hugged her tightly.
"I have been good, how about you?" She tightened the hug for a moment before pulling back slightly.
"I was good, until I glanced at my frame and saw you crying to Belle." I froze and pulled back all the way before glancing at the large mirror, split into four with a view of Ben, Mom, Adam, and me. I took a breath.
"I was worried I was turning into my cousin. I don't want to be a bully to anyone, but I almost did." She nodded sadly.
"You could never turn into Dudley, your heart is in the right place, even when you threatened Mal." I shook my head, of course she knew. I sat down next to her.
"Can I have some more pictures of my parents?" She rolled her eyes with a wide smile.
"Ok, what did you want to have?" I smiled.
"Dad on his flying motorcycle." I said quietly before she laughed.
"Of course, your motorcycle should be arriving soon, right?" I had a wide smile as she giggled and went to the closet.
"Let me grab the pensive." I felt a pinch in my cheeks as my smile grew. She had saved all my memories of my parents from when I arrived.
Time Skip
I woke up with a smile on my face and a picture in my hands. Sitting up I smiled at it. It was a picture of Dad driving the motorcycle and mom on the back. Both were laughing while I was in the arms of my godfather. I felt my eyes tear up as I looked at the wide smiles on the two people who I know loved me more than anything. The door to the bathroom opened and Ben walked out dressed in his suit. He stopped as he saw me.
"Last night was Agatha then?" I chuckled.
"Yup. I got another picture of my parents." He sat next to me on the bed and smiled.
"You never did explain to me why you wanted an antique motorcycle instead of a new one. So this is why?" I nodded.
"He had it enchanted to fly. I don't have the memory of how, but I do have a memory of him flying it. This one had my birth mom though." He nodded as he went towards the double dresser and picked up a picture frame.
"I think this is the right size." He handed it to me with a smirk before I busted out laughing. It was a picture of him and Audrey from years ago when they were actually happy together, before they started dating. As I replaced the picture I asked.
"This was from what, five years ago?" He laughed.
"Something like that." He took a deep breath.
"We haven't really talked very much. Lets eat breakfast together. It has been a long time." I nodded before grabbing his elbow with a smirk.
"Lets go, should be fun." He rolled his eyes as he began to smirk.
"Isn't this a little early for..." CRACK
"Was that really needed?" Ben asked, although the smirk was plastered on his face. I just kept walking as he took a moment to collect himself.
"Certainly faster, don't you think?" He laughed.
Line Break
"You told FG to raise her hand?" I laughed while eating my pancakes.
"She was making me teach a class." I said defending myself as he laughed uncontrollably. Jane plopped down next to me with a hurt expression.
"You could have fixed me all this time?" I sighed and rolled my eyes.
"There was nothing to fix Jane. You could have let your hair grow out so that isn't something to fix. Your face you are complaining about isn't actually bad. Just the frown you have on it a lot." She shook her head.
"Can you please be serious? You fixed Veronica's hair, but wont help me." I shook my head.
"Jane, please stop. I have called you beautiful for years. We have been friends for even longer. The Isle kids have barely been here a week and already you are forgetting that. Stop talking about yourself needing fixing. Otherwise I am going to go crazy." She huffed.
"Fine you don't want to help me than I am done." She stood up.
"I thought we were friends." She walked away as I shook my head and looked to Ben. He sighed.
"Maybe I shouldn't have..." I cut him off.
"Nope, don't go there. They deserve a chance. Jane is just forgetting what she grew up with." He nodded.
"Ok, so how are you getting along with them?" I sighed and shook my head.
"About as bumpy as you can get without being enemies." He chuckled.
"They seam very reserved."
"Most likely a defense mechanism. Remember me when I first got here." He nodded as we both finished our breakfast.
"Your right, and supper tomorrow, without Audrey I am realizing how isolated I ended up." I smiled and gave him a hug. We separated and went towards our first classes. As I crossed the courtyard Mal and Evie stepped out from behind a pillar and I shook my head and teleported from five feet in front of them to five feet behind them and kept walking. A few people jumped from the crack, but I didn't pay attention to them.
Line Break
"You were adopted by the king and queen." Mal said as she dropped down in front of me at lunch. When the rest resumed their spots from yesterday I sighed.
"I see you discovered how to use the internet. Although I do believe I explained to you all in class about how to say things." She rolled her eyes.
"I prefer the straight forward approach. So your Ben's brother?" I nodded.
"In all but blood. Jay how is the tourney going?" He smiled.
"It is awesome. I actually get to be more like the isle without getting into trouble." I chuckled.
"You all still have extra class slots right?" He nodded.
"Martial arts. I believe it's like 5th period maybe. It is a class all about fighting. Learning moves, controlling yourself. Stuff like that." He smiled.
"That could be awesome. Are you sure I could get into that?" I nodded.
"When was the last time you stole anything? Cause it will be tempting cause they make you change for class." He took a breath.
"I haven't taken anything yet today." I nodded before pulling out a sheet of paper and writing a letter to FG.
"Lets see. Dear FG, I was talking to the isle kids and Jay would like to join a martial arts class. Mal would like to join art, Evie would like to take design, and Carlos would like to take animal care. From Harry the wizard." I looked around at the wide eyes before I laughed and channeled magic into the letter as it folded into a plane and shot through the school.
"What makes you think you can make decisions for us?" I chuckled.
"Carlos has been running around with Dude for days, Evie sits outside in the sun designing outfits, and you have been complaining about running out of supplies for your painting. Besides your still planning on stealing stuff for your parents. Therefore you only need to deal with it for a bit." She glared and I laughed as her eyes glowed a bit.
"Your getting more powerful the longer your here. Your father isn't human, is he?" Her eyes went wide as I laughed.
"So do you not know, or don't like him?" She glared harder and this time her eyes really did glow. I smiled.
"Watch yourself. You didn't grow up around the magic. The stronger the emotion, positive or negative, and magic can lash out." She blinked a few times and leaned back before looking at a wide eyed Evie. I smiled.
"When you feel the power coming you need to make sure you take a breath, or channel it into something." I opened my bag and pulled out a clear rock.
"Hold out your hand." She hesitantly did so before I put the rock in her hand. Instantly it turned bright green.
"The more you channel the brighter it glows. This is how FG helped me gain control. See you later." I stood and left as the four friends stared at the crystal in her hand.
I knocked on the door to FG's office before entering when I was allowed. I sat down.
"I gave Mal my crystal. I pissed her off and she was loosing control." She sighed before nodding and pulled out the note I had sent.
"And this?" I laughed.
"Trying to get them to fit in more." She rolled her eyes.
"I will send Jane to confirm when they are free and if they actually want to join." I shook my head.
"Send someone else. Jane isn't Jane anymore." She frowned.
"I heard about this morning. I don't think I like what is happening with her." I nodded.
"I always actually saw you two as a nice couple." I laughed.
"I tried that last year at the ball remember?" She winced, but nodded as well.
"Yes I remember how bad that was." I took a breath as I stood up and frowned.
"I don't think we could recover from this." She sighed as I turned to leave.
"Harry wait." I tuned back as she reached into a desk drawer. When she smiled at me she tossed me another crystal.
"Jane will come around." I chuckled.
"I hope she does." She nodded and I walked out of the office with a deep sigh.
Time Skip
The last few days I had seen the VKs smiling more and more. Currently I was walking with Ben to see how they were feeling.
"10 bucks says they ask for a favor." I said with a smile. He chuckled.
"No way, the four of them are really independent." I chuckled.
"Is this the first time your checking up on them?" He nodded.
"Whats your point?" I laughed.
"Your the crown prince. 50 bucks they ask for a favor." He shook his head.
"Deal, although now I might feel bad taking your money." I laughed.
"As crown prince you get a bigger stipend I will gladly relieve you of some of it." He rolled his eyes and knocked on the door as I hid to the side.
"Ben, hi is everything ok?" My brother nodded.
"Yes, everything is fine, I just wanted to check up on you guys. It has been a while since we talked."
"Yeah, is it true we get to go to your coronation?" He smiled.
"Yeah the whole school goes."
"Is there anyway the four of us could sit up front to soak in all of that goodness?" He sighed and his eyes glanced to me for a split second. Yup, I won the bet.
"I wish you could. Up front is only Mom, Dad, Harry, and our girlfriends, should we get some in time."
"Your girlfriends? Thanks bye." He went to stop her before the door slammed. I through my arm around him.
"You barely started talking before they asked for something. That means I won." He rolled his eyes.
"I don't know why I bet you anything. Has Agatha taught you to see the future or something?" I laughed.
"No this is just me being awesome." He shook his head as we walked away with him taking out my money.
Time skip
I was talking with Ben at his locker when Mal came around the corner with a smile.
"Hey boys. Ben I made you a good luck cookie, double chocolate chip. Jay ended up eating most of the batch, but I saved you one." He smiled before sighing.
"Sorry Mal, I don't eat carbs before a game." I nodded.
"you carboload a day or two before, that way they have a chance to make it into your system." Ben nodded in agreement as Mal sighed dramatically.
"Yeah I get it, don't eat food offered by kids of villains, I understand." Ben shook his head.
"No Mal that isn't what..."
"No, no I get it. I guess I will just eat it then." She took it out of the bag and I grabbed it, shoved it into my mouth before I chewed it and ate it quickly. I smirked.
"It really is just the car...bs." I blinked a few times as my head began to fog up. I looked to Ben.
"Good luck at the game Ben, I am going to grab some milk." He nodded with a smile before clapping my back.
"See you after the game." He turned to Mal.
"Told you it isn't that it's your cookie. See you soon." He left and I looked to Mal and couldn't help but smile.
"Ok beautiful, you put something in that cookie didn't you? Did you every notice you have beautiful golden flecks in your eyes. I think I might love you." I blinked a few times.
"That's what it was isn't it? Mal your amazing, but I made a promise and I need to go. Did you know that your lips are amazing?" I shook my head and grabbed her hand before kissing her knuckles and bowing deeply.
"I will talk to you later Milady." I then walked away as I slowly felt my head coming back to normal.
Line break
I entered FG's office with a smile on my face.
"Someone is happy today." I smiled wider.
"Of course I am. Do you think mom would be upset if I asked out one of the isle girls?" She blinked a few times. Before taking out a large crystal.
"Harry, didn't you just say yesterday that you were upset and no longer willing to date my daughter?" I nodded.
"Yes, but..." I shook my head as I had conflicting thoughts about things and frowned. She nodded.
"Your magic is fighting it. Hold this crystal so I can identify it." I nodded and grabbed the rock before it glowed a deep dark red that was almost black. She frowned.
"Lets go to the infirmary." I sighed, but nodded.
"Ok, am I in trouble?" She shook her head with a smile.
"Not you." I shook my head.
"No, I don't want anyone in trouble. They are still trying to fit in, plus she is beautiful?" I said as I started to try to figure this out. She sighed.
"I will wait for you to be healed completely before I issue any punishments." I nodded with a smile.
"Thank you FG." She nodded and put a hand on my shoulder.
3rd POV
Ben pulled Mal to the side after they won the game.
"Mal I have been thinking and would you like to go on a date with me this Saturday, tomorrow?" Her eyes went wide as she smiled.
"I would love to Ben." He smiled.
"I will pick you up at noon, and we will take my scooter." She slightly panicked.
"Is that dangerous?" He chuckled.
"No not at all, I am very responsible on it." She sighed deeply and smiled.
"Ok, no problem." At that moment FG arrived behind Mal with Evie in toe and put a hand on Mal's shoulder.
"Ben, do you mind if I steal Mal for a moment?" He smiled.
"Of course not FG. I am tied, so am going to head to dinner before bed." She smiled.
"Have fun Ben, your gonna be busy after next month." He nodded with a smile.
"That is true." He chuckled before giving Mal a smile and leaving. FG sighed.
"Mal, Evie, follow me." the two Isle girls looked to each other with a panicked expression before following the headmistress.
The three women arrived at the infirmary only to see a pale, sweating, and shaking Harry sleeping restlessly on the bed. The two girls looked to each other with wide eyes before sitting on the chairs.
"I made him promise me that if he ever felt like he was spelled, even if it went away, he would come to me. At the moment we were worried about the enchantress that kidnapped him from his family." She sat down facing the girls with a deep sigh.
"At that time he hadn't opened up about his relatives yet. He was only five when he was taken from them." The boy spasm a few times before his eyes shot open and he vomited into the trash can next to the bed and immediately fell back to sleep. The FG sighed.
"At five years old there had been evidence of dozens of broken bones on his x-ray. We found out they were all intentional. I can only imagine what you two went through, but you just love potioned the one who might understand you the most." The two girls were now appearing extremely sad. FG sighed.
"From the clues I would say it was one of you two who spelled him. His magic was fighting it and it could have ended badly." She then stood and walked out of the infirmary as the two girls frowned while looking at the shaking boy.
"Evie, do you feel like your sick at the thought of us causing that?" Mal asked causing a nod in response.
"We need to talk to the boys." Both girls nodded and walked out with their heads hanging in confusion. Once they left the FG faded into view as she sighed deeply.
"Hopefully some good will come from this." She glanced at the boy with another sigh and left to go to her office. She had to notify Belle about her son being in the infirmary.
Time Skip
I woke up extremely sore, but otherwise feeling good. I shifted myself into a sitting position and looked around recognizing the infirmary. I sighed and rubbed my head.
"I am awake!" I called before I head high heels on the floor and the curtain revealed mom who looked relieved.
"Harry I am so glad your ok." She said as she embraced me tightly as I simply enjoyed it.
"Course I am ok, I am me after all." She laughed and squeezed tighter before letting go.
"Mom, how long have I been in here if your here already?' She sighed and messed up my hair.
"24 hours. FG told me yesterday it was a 24 hour potion and you got it at 12:43 pm." She checked the time and smiled.
"Right on time." I chuckled and hugged her again.
"Love you mom. Does Ben know about me being in here?" She nodded with a frown.
"Apparently he went to sleep right after the game so didn't know until this morning. He was very upset that FG didn't tell him anything." I rolled my eyes.
"There was nothing to tell. I just ate some bad food." She narrowed her eyes at me.
"Yes, that is what FG told him, but she told me you were dosed with a powerful love potion, and that your magic turned your body into a war zone." I sighed and looked down.
"Yes, I don't want to press charges though." She took my hand.
"So you know who did it?" I chuckled.
"Yeah I do." She shook her head.
"Your father loosened the restrictions on magic so you wouldn't get in trouble. He wont enjoy hearing you got spelled." I shook my head.
"You mean he will use it as an excuse to tighten them again. Come on mom, you know as well as I that he treats me like a distant relative you tolerate for appearances." She sighed.
"Adam is..." I gave her a hug.
"Mom, he didn't want to adopt me. I have accepted that. I also respect the fact that he treats me better than my relatives ever did. I have you who treats me like a son and that is all I care about." She squeezed me tightly with a sigh.
"I love you Harry." I smiled at hearing that.
"Love you to Mom." She gave me a wide smile.
"I expect you for lunch tomorrow. Ben won the game yesterday so we are having a lunch to celebrate for him. Your refurbished motorcycle was dropped off this morning and I registered it already. I put the keys and a new helmet in your room." I raised an eyebrow.
"I already have a helmet." She nodded with a smirk.
"The scooters don't go as fast. This one will protect your whole head, and I might have had FG enchant it beyond that." I laughed as I gave her a hug.
"Your the best." She picked up a bag from the foot of the bed and gave it to me.
"Why don't you get dressed and we get lunch?" I smiled and stood as my back cracked and felt so much better. She giggled and shut the curtain as she left.
Line Break
All of the royal children were sure to greet Belle as we ate and talked about anything and everything. It turns out that Ben had taken Mal on a date at noon, and they arrived back shortly after we started to eat.
"Harry, why did you tell me you weren't feeling well?" I heard before I was grabbed in a headlock style hug and laughed.
"Cause you were in class when I felt it." I turned and saw Mal looking really good in a wet dress before I shook my head.
"Please tell me you didn't interrupt your date just cause you wanted to annoy me?" He laughed as he shook his head and turned to mom.
"Mom, please let me introduce you to Mal. She was my date today and agreed to be my girlfriend." Mom went wide eyed for a moment before I took out a my wand that I almost never used and shot him with a 'finite' as his shirt was almost torn to shreds. He gave me a look.
"What was that, why did you wreck my shirt?" I shook my head as I met mom's eyes.
"I didn't try to. That was a finite, overpowered with my wand. I guess that shirt was magically seamed." He frowned.
"Don't we always buy hand done?" Mom looked between each of us and took a deep breath.
"Your father and I will figure out the shirt. Harry please transfigure it for now." I chuckled and did as mom asked before she looked to me with a questioning look.
"He would have been in pain." She nodded as Ben looked at us funny before sitting down, bringing Mal down with him.
"Mal it is nice to meet you. Where did my son take you on the date?" She smiled.
"It was beautiful. He brought me to the, enchanted lake?" She looked to Ben as he smiled. I looked to Ben.
"Did you swim?" He nodded with a smile.
"Yup, why do you ask?" I chuckled.
"Cause the water from there, if it touched your shirt would have revealed it." He nodded.
"Yeah I know, Fairy Godmother said it reverses all enchantments, right?" I nodded.
"Might have helped with my food poisoning yesterday if it wasn't so far away." He sighed.
"Yeah, sorry about that Harry. You sure you feeling ok?" I nodded.
"Yeah I am good." Belle smiled at us.
"Well I will let you two catch up. Mal it was a pleasure to meet you. I will see you next week on family day." She turned to Ben.
"I will work on your father." Ben sighed but nodded as well.
"Thank you Mom, it was good to see you." They hugged before Mom hugged me as well and left the courtyard. I smiled at Ben as I stood up.
"Well I am going to go take a nap, I am still really tired. You won a game, and got a beautiful girl on the same day." I shook my head.
"You sleep for 24 hours and everything changes. Next time I get the good stuff." He laughed as we shook hands. I nodded to Mal who seamed to be upset at me and walked away.
Time Skip
Ben's lunch the following day went well with congratulations all around before Adam pulled him away to learn more about being king. I rode back to the school on my new motorcycle smiling the entire time. When I started to climb the stairs Jay stepped in front of me with a frown.
"Can you come talk to us?" I raised an eyebrow.
"I am not currently sure that would be safe." He nodded.
"We want to apologize." I smirked.
"That seams like there is a story attached. Lets go." He nodded although he still appeared sad, and lead me down the hall to the girls room. He entered first and I shut the door behind me. Looking around I smiled at the wall next to the door. There was a large paper labeled 'what is immoral'. Below it was a list of things before an explanation of what they felt when they did it.
"So I wasn't talking to a wall. You all did listen." I made sure they knew I only read the title by turning around quickly. They all nodded. Mal took a deep breath.
"Harry, I am so sorry I made that cookie. Evie and I saw you yesterday. I felt..." She stopped until Evie put a hand on her shoulder. She took a breath.
"I am sorry. We want help though." I rolled my eyes.
"Apologizing does not usually have favors being requested." She nodded.
"FG mentioned that in class yeah. The problem is the list behind you." I narrowed my eyes, very confused.
"Ok, you lost me." Carlos was the one to answer.
"If we don't do the stuff on the wall when we go back, we will be killed." Evie sighed and took over.
"But now if we do it, than we are going to be sick." I nodded.
"Ok, so don't go back. Problem solved." I said with a shrug. Mal's hand suddenly glowed brightly even though it was clenched. She took deep breaths before is ended and she put the crystal on her bed in front of her.
"Harry, it isn't that simple. We have looked stuff up. If we stay, where would we be allowed to stay during summer vacation? Our parents would be ready to kill us if we fail them. Forgiveness is not a thing over there. We were sent here with a plan and if we don't..." I cut her off.
"Get FG's wand so your mother can break the dome and escape." She went wide eyed as I rolled my eyes. I pulled out my phone and made a call.
"Fairy Godmother, are you able to come to Mal, and Evie's room for a moment?" I heard a gasp.
"Is everything ok? Do I need to bring another flushing potion." I laughed.
"No, actually I think this is going to be extra credit for Goodness 101."
"Oh, well ok I will be right there." I hung up as they were all wide eyed and I noticed Carlos was shaking in fear.
"I am a prince. I can make sure you don't need to go back over the summer. FG will be able to adjust the barrier to ensure it holds your parents. We can figure this out." Jay gave a hard nod as Mal looked to everyone before giving one herself. Evie seamed to be squeezing her purse strap like a lifeline.
Line Break
I had my back against the door as I listened to FG talk to them all and clear their worries. I smiled as she asked about the label on the wall. When Evie explained about me then FG smiled at me as well. Finally she smiled at all of them.
"I will help you find part time jobs for the summer for money. As for housing, I will simply have the dorms stay open. Harry is correct, I promise I will do everything I can to help you be good. I am proud of all of you. I understand this must have been a hard decision." She nodded to them all before she walked past me out the door. I looked at them all as it closed.
"You all came clean to her about everything. Therefore in my eyes you all reset your strikes. Remember, three strikes and I don't like you anymore." I stood and went to leave when Evie asked.
"Harry, Mal said you gave her strikes, but the rest of us weren't given any." I sighed.
"Jay might have given it back, but he stole my wallet while talking to me, Carlos had none, you gossiped about me to Chad about how I hate him, and finally if Mal didn't reset it right now she was done. The love potion was about to be given to my brother." Mal winced and looked at the ground. I sighed.
"Everyone is back to none." I turned and walked out the door.
Time Skip
When family day arrived I had yet to truly speak to the VKs yet since the conversation. They were talking more and making friends, I could easily tell that they were happy with their decision. I laughed as Doug made a fool out of himself in the 'Be our guest' rendition. I also noticed the VKs came out during the middle and Evie seemed to watch him the entire time with a bright smile on her face. When the song ended Ben grabbed me and brought me over to Mom and Adam.
"Why do you avoid being in the productions like this?" I laughed.
"Cause I am a terrible singer and you know it." He laughed.
"You could have provided the sound instead then. It was a Capella." I shook my head. Adam laughed.
"Son you know Harry doesn't like the spotlight. I would say to just relax on pushing." Mom rolled her eyes and hugged me before Ben.
"I think Harry would have fit in very well if he tried it." Adam sighed, but nodded.
"How about we have the pictures now?" The photographer perked up at that and smiled while getting into position. Mom shook her head slightly and put a hand on both mine and Ben's shoulders before Adam switched sides and put a proud hand on Ben's shoulder in his most obvious to date way of saying I don't matter. Mom glared at him for a second, but kept her hands on both Ben and Me and smiled for the camera. After a few pictures Ben spoke.
"Dad, did Mom talk to you about my new girlfriend?" He took a ragged breath.
"Yes she did. Are you sure it is wise?" He took a breath.
"Dad, I promise she is really nice and you have nothing to worry about." I took a breath and smirked at his unease.
"There she is now. MAL!" He called before gesturing her over. Mom rubbed my shoulder as Adam was almost panicking. Ben threw his arm around her before introducing them.
"Dad, this is Mal, Mal this is my dad." Mal gave an awkward curtsy to him. Before repeating it to Mom.
"It is wonderful to meet you King Adam, nice to see you again Queen Belle." Mom nodded with a smile.
"Nice to see you again Mal. Your dress is beautiful." Mal blushed.
"Thank you, Evie made it for me." Mom seemed surprised as Adam shook his head.
"Would you like to join us for Crochet after lunch?" Mal smiled.
"I would love to, but I am going to stay with my friends today." Mom smiled.
"Bring them along then. I would love to find out how Evie made that dress." I smiled. As Adam coughed through his uncomfortable feelings.
"Yes of course, the more the merrier." She smiled.
"Ok, I will. See you then." Her and Ben left before I began to laugh and Adam left me with Mom.
"Mom, I think his perfect little family leaving his control is becoming too much for him." She sighed deeply.
"I am sorry Harry. I never expected him to do something like that, especially in public."
"Not your fault Mom. You have always made me feel extremely welcome." She nodded to me with a smile before kissing my cheek.
"Now we just need you to find someone to be happy with." I rolled my eyes.
"It hasn't work out to well in the past. I think I might just give up. Who knows maybe I should visit the isle. Apparently there are some really nice people over there." She shook her head.
"It is too dangerous over there. With your brother becoming king soon though, maybe more of the children will come over." I nodded.
"Good point." She gave me a hug.
"Sorry about Jane." I nodded.
"Not your fault. I think I am going to go thank Veronica's parents for the bike since they're here." She nodded with a smile.
"That is a good idea." I kissed her cheek before walking away in search of my friend.
Line break
I was playing crochet on the request of Ben, not Adam, when suddenly I heard a scream from my right. I saw Queen Leah and Audrey verbally attacking Mal. I stepped over with Ben coming to my side quickly.
"Queen Leah it is part of my proclamation to give the new generation a chance, remember?"
"A chance to what Ben, destroy us." I cleared my throat.
"No, a chance at a new life. She hasn't done anything to you. Blaming her for what happened is the same as Maleficent cursing your daughter because you didn't invite her. Mal is inno..." Chad arrived and covered my mouth with his hand.
"What do you think they teach their children? Fair play?" I slapped his arm away.
"Well your parents taught you to be good, yet until Ben broke up with Audrey you had four different girls doing your homework on the promise of dating them. Even now I know of two you have doing it." He slapped me across the face.
"Shut up you orphan, you don't know anything." Ben stepped in between us.
"This is becoming a spectacle. Enough. Queen Leah, Mal has not shown any sign she is anything like her mother so you need to accept that. Chad, Harry is my brother and has never steered me wrong. We will all separate and relax. I don't need my reign starting on bad terms." Everyone looked between each other, accept for me, I glared at Chad. Mom put a hand on my shoulder and lead me away as the VKs began to gather for support. I shook my head.
"The next one to call me an orphan in a derogatory way I am going to spell." Adam arrived just them.
"No you will not. You are an orphan. It is simply an adjective." Mom stepped forward.
"He is your son, you adopted him stop treating him like a distant family member." I sighed deeply.
"And that is why they think it is ok. Thank you Adam." I teleported instantly, knowing that we were not the center of attention.
Time Skip
The next day I was at lunch, ignoring everyone apart from Lonnie who was sitting next to me when Jane sat down.
"Harry, can you please make my hair longer again?" I shook my head.
"Why did you tell Mal her relationship was doomed to fail? Lonnie and the rest exchanged something, you got yours for free."
"Harry, please." She took my hand.
"Your my friend.?" I sighed.
"You haven't treated me like a friend since you got the long hair. Then I helped Veronica and you jumped down my throat. Honestly Jane, give it a few months and you wouldn't even need magic for the hair.?" She stood up and stomped.
"Fine I will figure it out myself." Lonnie sighed and looked at me.
"Sorry Harry." I shook my head.
"I warned her before, this is on her." She rubbed my hand before standing.
"I will talk to her." I shrugged as she left. Mal separated from the other VKs and sat across from me.
"Sorry about that, I just got mad." I laughed.
"Mal, I am not going to give you a strike from that. That was retaliation, and like I said. She got her hair for free so it was basically a loan. Just don't do it again. That she insulted you when everyone knew you already had a bad day." I shook my head and she nodded.
"Thank you for defending me to Leah." I nodded.
"Easier when I don't have to lie. Keep it up and I will continue." She smiled.
"I guess your right. Still thank you, we appreciate it." She stood and went to the other table as I sighed.
"MAL!" I called and she came back.
"Yeah?" I took a breath.
"Together with the rest of them make a list of all the kids on the isle that have not committed a felony and give it to me." She frowned.
"Um, Harry, what is a felony?" I chuckled.
"Ok, I will simplify it. If they have killed, raped, or permanently disfigured someone, they are out." She paled.
"I think I need to put those on our list." I chuckled.
"They aren't common ones so I can understand why they weren't on there originally." She nodded but her color was still gone as she turned around and went back to the others. I sighed and stood up to go to class a little early.
Time Skip
The day of the coronation I was standing right up front next to Mal as Ben began to walk down the cathedral to become king. I leaned in.
"Nobody is going to try anything right?" She smiled at me and shook her head.
"Even how we were treated after parents day was better than home would be." I nodded with a smile and stood strait, watching my brother in literally all but blood kneel a prince, to rise a king. FG began to wave her wand in an elaborate and confusing way, at least to me, to bless him when a blue blur took off past me and ripped it out of her hand. My eyes went wide in shock as Jane had the wand and clearly couldn't control her magic.
"Child, what are you doing?" FG screamed.
"If you wont make me beautiful than I will. Bibbity boppity." Mal ripped the wand from her hands ending the lighting coming from the tip. I slid my wand into my hand and narrowed my eyes. Talk is one thing, this is different. She grabbed her head seemingly in pain as FG came down the stairs carefully.
"Mal, dear can I have that back?" Mal looked up and her eyes were glowing green for a moment before they faded and she let out a deep sigh.
"Sorry, my head. Here you go." She held out the wand before both of them jumped with the wand going with Mal as a bang rang out on the floor in front of us. Maleficent appeared in a show of smoke, eyes glowing green.
"You disappoint me Mal." She immediately slammed her scepter into the ground as I thrust my wand out creating a bubble around me and the surrounding ten or so people. I then used the summing charm causing the frozen figures of FG, Adam, Mom, Ben, and Jane to slide behind the bubble as the royals grabbed them and pulled their frozen forms. Maleficent glared at me.
"So not everyone over here gave up on magic." She spun a quick circle before exploding into smoke as a dragon took her place.
"MOTHER!" Mal yelled before the dragon spun to her. There was a chuffing sound before the dragon blew fire at her wide eyed daughter.
The fire dissipated as I was ready to kill the bitch who would fry her own daughter. I was halted however when another roar rang out and there was a purplish skinned dragon in place of Mal growling at Maleficent. I smirked until they both shot fire at each other as it began to swarm around them. A twist of my wand and I had a weak shield around the two beasts, holding the fire away from the people. Finally I knew it was coming down as it took too much power when the flames died down and there was an unconscious Mal and a small lizard. I dropped to my knees as my shield fell. I took a deep breath before I allowed the blackness to claim me.
Line Break
I came to on the couch next to Agatha.
"That was an amazing shield you did. Congratulations." I looked to a smiling enchantress before wrapping her in a hug.
"Did everyone make it out ok?" She giggled.
"Yes dear, watch with me." I turned to watch the enlarged frame as FG ran past my body, only giving it a quick glance, and grabbing her wand from Mal. When she released everyone from the spell it was pandemonium. I saw guards bringing Mal and I out of the room while FG ensured Maleficent was contained.
"Perhaps Adam will now treat you like a son, Maybe?" I laughed.
"Doubtful, I am his ward, not his son. Mom, I am her son, but him." She sighed.
"I guess that was a bit too hopeful. So are you truly over the half fairy?" I sighed.
"Yes, I had tried before to date Jane. Then after discounting me and demanding, I am over her completely." She took my hand as we watched Ben was yelling at the guards to get FG to the bridge to fix the barrier before someone else escapes.
"You will find someone. I could tell you..." I cut her off.
"No thank you. I told you before I want to learn from experience. I will however ask before I propose. Just to be sure." I replied with a smile as she giggled.
"Ok Harry. I am glad your ok. You will however be sore for a while. You drained most of your magic." I sighed and nodded.
"I understand. Thank you for believing in me." I gave her a hug that she returned just as tight.
"I do have one question before I go though." She smiled.
"Would this be the question you have wanted to ask me for years. You finally have the courage?" I faulted for a second before I took a deep breath and met her eyes.
"Why did you not keep me with you?" She frowned.
"I would have loved to, however I am not a normal enchantress. I was made by three witches removing their good qualities and putting them into me to create life. (The new villains books Disney put out.) Without a full range of qualities you would not have been raised properly. A child needs to experience, and see all emotions so that when they grow up the know how to handle them. You would not have had that." I nodded and hugged her tightly.
"Thank you." She nodded.
"It's time to wake up Harry. I will see you soon. I might not have raised you, but I do love you." I smiled.
"I love you to Aunt Agatha." She giggled.
"That is a fair compromise." She said as I faded back to my body.
Line Break
I woke up softly, but in pain.
"I don't know about you Mal, but I feel like shit." I sat up and looked over to see FG instead of Mal.
"She woke up five minutes ago and left to see Ben. You took longer." I rolled my eyes.
"Course I did, so what do I do now. Adam is probably pissed about the magic display." She sighed but nodded.
"He wasn't happy, although he was not mad at you or Mal thankfully." I swung my legs over and frowned.
"Jane?" I asked as she shook her head.
"I am not taking her away from the after party, but she will be in a lot of trouble." I nodded.
"Where is my wand?" I asked since I knew it was in my hand when I passed out. She sighed.
"Burned out. It was barely a splinter when I found it. I will make you another in a few days." I shook my head.
"That is what, six wands, why can't I have a durable one like yours." She smiled as we both stood up.
"The same reason I told you the last five times. Fae magic strengthens the wand as well as the magic. Wizard magic does not." I nodded and walked out with her. When the door opened Belle grabbed me in a tight hug.
"Harry I am so glad your ok." I chuckled as I hugged her tightly as well.
"Love you so much Mom." She hugged tighter.
"I love you too." She pulled back and looked to FG.
"He is ok to leave the bed?" FG nodded with a smile.
"He needs to be careful with magic for a few days while his core recharges, but yes he is good to be a normal student." I rolled my eyes, but Mom nodded in happiness. She kissed my head and hugged me tighter.
"Have fun with your brother at the celebration." I nodded.
"I will Mom. Your the best." She giggled before pushing me towards the exit.
"Go." I laughed and jogged out the door.
I have never been big on dancing so I just enjoyed watching everyone else do it until Jane came up behind me.
"Harry, I am sorry." I shook my head.
"Jane, I tried to explain many times. You yelled at me." I turned and met her eyes seeing the unshed tears.
"Is this a strike?" I sighed.
"Jane this is between you and your mother." She looked down.
"How many strikes do I have? I know I had none before the hair." She sobbed when she said hair. I took a breath.
"2." She nodded and started to leave.
"Jane." She turned to me, tears now coming down.
"I am going to reset them because you apologized. I really did want to date you last year. Please go back to your normal self. I might have changed my mind, but I want you to be happy. Worrying about your looks to the point of stealing your Mom's wand in front of national television, that isn't you being happy." She nodded and ran off. I shook my head.
"It needed to be said." I spun around to see a frowning Lonnie. I sighed.
"Are you truly over her?" I laughed.
"I am not dating anyone for a while." She smiled.
"Perfect, because your not my type, but I want to dance so lets go your highness." I rolled my eyes as she dragged me onto the dance floor where Ben smiled widely at me making me chuckle. Eventually I saw Jane dancing with Carlos and smiled. She seems happy dancing with him.
