I was watching the episode "Go fish". And I had this idea about a story for Bec. I did some thinking and decided to write it. It will probably have four or five chapters at the end. I was thinking of how to write the firsts chapter. But as you probably know I like writing the first chapter with a cliffhanger to the rest of the story…
The title came to me as I was listening to the song "What I did for love" by Josh Groban.
And here we go, this beginning is told from Bec's POV
All of us had stayed inside for weeks and if we had been bored after three days it was nothing compared to what it was like the day that my whole life was about to change forever….
Or well, it was complicated and I wasn't so sure if nothing would actually chnge but it…
Like I had thought- it was a bit complicated.
I was in my room listening to the same songs I had listened to a million times before. And for the billionth time I just couldn't get any rest and all of my four limbs were itching when I went back and forth in my room…
I guess I could have at least come out of my room, keeping a virus from spreading in a place like this wasn't possible so if we just stayed inside the house we were allowed to go wherever we wanted…
But like so many times before I was left pacing back and forth in my bedroom while everything seemed itchy.
I was ready to jump out the window and run a lap around the earth if it would help…
That's when the door to my room suddenly opened and May- Li was there. And I ripped my headphones from my ears.
"Can you knock?"
"I did, but your music was too loud for you to hear it… sit down Bec."
"What…"
Wasn't it strange that she told me what to in my own room…
"Just sit down please…" I sighed and sat on my bed. Whatever could keep me occupated from my boredom I guess. "…Bec…" May- Li sat down on the desk chair and rolled herself closer where she held out her hands but I didn't take them. "…I'm sorry. We just had some terrible news."
Random fact
I'm not sure how the lockdown will be like in this story since there haven't been one in Sweden (there should have been) but I'll try and make it work and this is the try to a first chapter.
