A/N: This is a prelude to the story that I'm developing. I'm still thinking with the title of the story about Elio and Selene travelling to the Galar region. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome here. I'm still new to this site, so help is more appreciated. Now, onward to the first extra chapter of my story. Enjoy!
I don't own Pokémon, or any of the characters and if I did, I will have Necrozma to open multiple Ultra Wormholes and summon Ultra Beasts throughout Galar.
Around 7 in the morning, Elio slowly opened his eyes and the first thing that he saw was Selene, staring at him with a smile on her face. He still cannot believe about what happened last night after his sudden confession and ended up became a couple. The kiss they had last night was still on his mind, but at the same time, he is happy about it, as their relationship was blossoming even further from friends turned into lovers.
"Morning, sleepyhead," Selene greeted, as she planted him a kiss on his cheek.
"Morning, too, my beautiful moon," he greeted back, as he do the same. "Are you staring me all the time when you woke up?"
"Yep, I guess you can say that. I can't help but to admire your cute and handsome looks," Selene chuckled, before she gave him a wink, causing Elio's face to turn red. "Well, let's get up now, shall we?"
"Right," he nodded.
"Wait, before that..."
"Uh, what is it, Selene?"
"Do you think... do you think we should tell your mom about our new relationship as a couple now?" Selene asked with a worried expression on her face.
"Just leave it to me, Selene. There's nothing to worry about. Plus, my mom has already took a liking to you. I'm gonna tell it to her right away," Elio assured.
"Thanks, Elio! You're really are my shining sun," Selene remarked.
Elio blushed again at his girlfriend's remark. "You're welcome. Anything for you, Selene," he grinned, while scratching his neck.
After they got up on the bed and fixed the room. Upon exiting the room, Elio saw his mother preparing breakfast on the table.
"Good morning," they both greeted.
"Well, good morning too. I hope you two get a goodnight sleep. Have some breakfast first before heading out," Elio's mother greeted, noticing that they're still wearing pajamas.
"Thanks!"
The couple both took their seats and started eating their breakfast. Their meal consists of a bread filled with a fresh Combee honey, rice and sausage, pasta, and a bottle of Moomoo Milk.
"Mom, um... we have something to tell you," Elio started, as he took a bite of bread with honey.
"Hm, what is it, my dear?" his mother asked.
"Um, me and Selene. We're... we're a couple now," he said.
"Uh yeah, we're in a relationship now. We just confessed our feelings for each other last night," Selene said bashfully, with a faint rosy blush on her cheeks.
"Huh? Oh my! My boy has finally grew up! He's got himself a girlfriend! How lovely!" His mother squealed in delight, causing Elio and Selene to sweatdrop at his mother's reaction. "I know you two were destined to each other, so how was it? Did you shared your first kiss? Did you two make love-"
"MOM! We're still young to do that! We just kissed and cuddled each other, that's all!" Elio interrupted.
"I'm just messing with you, Elio. I know you still want to fulfill your dream of becoming a best Pokémon Trainer someday." Then his mother glanced at the girl with a side-swept bangs. "As for you Selene... "
"Um, yes?"
"Please take good care of my son. I know he's a little rambunctious and reckless sometimes, but please go easy on him. And fulfill your dreams of becoming the very best you could ever be. Will you promise me to do that?"
"I will. Leave it to me, and I'll assure you that I will take good care of him. That's a promise," Selene said proudly, putting her fists on her chest.
"Mom, you're embarassing me again. I don't want to be baby-sitted. You don't need to tell Selene about that," Elio groaned, lowering his head in embarassment.
Selene and his mother burst out laughing and having fun teasing him.
"Stop that!"
One hour later...
After breakfast, having a shower, changed into their travel clothes, and prepared everything, Elio and Selene bid farewell to his mother and went on their way. Before they leave, Elio's mother told them to have a nice day and come back safe and sound.
"So, where are we going now, Elio?" Selene asked.
"We're gonna visiting the Professor to give this strange Z-Crystal that I have, so that he can study and investigate more about it," the former Champion said.
"Hmm, I'm still intrigued about your Z-Crystal. Maybe Kahuna Hala knows something about this."
"I hope so."
"By the way, where's Rotom?"
"He's here in my backpack, but he still asleep. I wonder what will his reaction if he found out that we're a couple now," he replied.
"Probably."
Along on their way, just in nick of time, they met Professor Kukui.
"Alola, Elio! Oh, Selene, Alola! It's nice to see you again, yeah! I received a word that you recently came back here in Alola with Lillie. How was your journey in Kanto?" the Professor greeted.
"Alola, Professor! Good to see you too again after a long time and yeah, Lillie and I had fun travelling in Kanto. We even managed to find Bill and guess what, I even met the renowned Professor Oak!" Selene exclaimed.
"Woo, that's a wonderful feat you don't hear everyday, yeah. Maybe we'll talk about it later more on your journeys in Kanto, Selene. Elio, where were you two heading for now? Are you two will gonna train your Pokémon?"
"Alola, Professor! In fact, we were just about to head into your place until we met you here. I want to show something that you will take an interest in, Professor," Elio stated.
"Hm, what is it?" Kukui asked, scratching his chin.
Elio rummages his backpack and when he found it, he shows the strange Z-Crystal to the Professor.
"Have you seen this Z-Crystal before, Professor?" He handed the Z-Crystal to Kukui, in which he examined it.
"Hmm, I've never seen this Z-Crystal before, yeah. It looks like a variation of Pikanium Z to me. Where did you get this, cousin?"
"In the Pikachu Valley, Professor. A wild female Pikachu gave it to me for unknown reasons," Elio said.
"A wild Pikachu, huh? Have you tried using it?"
Elio explained about his attempt of using the Z-Crystal and executing a Z-Move that eventually didn't work. He also told him his own Pikachu's movesets that don't match and theorized that it had its own Z-Pose too like the Z-Pose that it will need for Pikanium Z to unleash its Z-Move Catastropika.
"Hmm. That will take a while to figure out what this Z-Crystal and what secret it holds, yeah. I will investigate more further about it." Then, Kukui remembers something. "Oh, I almost forgot. Looks like my mind's being hit with Amnesia. I have a Present for you two."
"Presents?"
"Elio, Selene, follow me to my place."
The couple followed the Professor on their way to his house. Elio can't help but to wonder what Present will Kukui give to them.
"Hey, Selene, do you have any idea on what the Professor will gonna give us?" he whispered.
"Beats me," she shrugged her shoulders, as Elio gently took and hold her hand while walking.
While trekking on their way, Kukui glanced at the two and noticed that they were holding hands affectionately, causing him to raise his eyebrows in wonder. At first, he shrugged it off but as they were close at their destination, he can't help but to raise some questions on his mind about what was going on with the two Trainers, as if like they were under the effects of the move Attract.
But his train of thoughts suddenly wore off when Kukui realized that they had reached the house. Recomposing himself, they entered inside. When Elio and Selene placed their bags on the sofa, Kukui gestured them to follow him on the basement. Just as they about to proceed...
"Hey, don't leave me... brzzt!" Rotom Dex suddenly made his way out of the backpack.
"Oh, Rotom, good morning. I thought you'll gonna sleep forever," Elio said.
"Rotom, there you are. Come and follow us to the basement, yeah."
"Alola, Professor. On it, zzzt!" Then he glanced on Selene. "Hey, what did I mizz here, ...brzzt?"
Selene explained how they met the Professor while they're on their way to his house to give the yellow strange Z-Crystal Elio had to investigate and uncover the secrets that shrouded within it.
"Wow, zo you have zeen that strange Z-Crystal, too, Selene. I had no clue what that iz, zzzt. I had no data about it on my Item Dex database, zzzt!"
"Well, let's just wait and see," Elio said. "Maybe the Professor may uncover what that truly is. I have read a book that there is also a sighting of a Z-Move was used outside of Alola by a Mythical Pokémon, Mew, but no one has seen or knows about that either. After all, it's just a mere folklore legend passed down in generations around the world."
"Heh, you sure are really smart, eh. That's why you're still such a dweeb to me," Selene smugly smirked at him, much to Elio's dismay, but he was getting used to her calling him a dweeb.
"Does she really think of me as a nerd or something?"
The trio, including Rotom Dex, have reached Kukui's basement lab. The Professor looked around and found the two odd cylindrical-like canister devices that were placed on his desk. He gave them each to Elio and Selene.
"Uh, what's this Professor?" they both asked.
"That's the Present I'm talking about, cousins. Pokémon Box Links!"
"Pokémon Box Links?"
"Zz-zz-zz, what is a Pokémon Box Link, Professor? Doezn't look like a box if you asked me. I must add it to my Item Dex database, zz-zzt!" Rotom started to take photos at the Pokémon Box Links that Elio and Selene had.
"Pokémon Box Links are nifty devices that will greatly help you on your journeys, yeah. I got those devices from the colleague of mine in a far off region. Its functions are the same as the one that you've used on Pokémon Center's PC System," Kukui replied.
"Wait, so does this mean... we can bring all of our Pokémon that we caught on our journey along the way?!" Elio asked with excitement.
"Exactly! In that way, you can easily switch Pokémon you Wish to use to train in your team party along the way. However, if you caught a new Pokémon in the wild and transferred in the Box Link, its HP will not be restored and any status conditions it had will not be cured. Your Pokémon Box Links won't work in some certain places, so you still have to use PC. By the way, Elio, I have already transferred some of your Pokémon there in your Box Link, go check them," Kukui explained.
"Thanks, Professor. I'm gonna check them later," thanked Elio.
"You still need to contact Lusamine to transfer some of your Pokémon there, yeah. You too, Selene."
"Yeah, Professor. Thank you for this," she politely said.
"Isn't that great, Elio and Selene? You can now zpend more time with your other Pokémon that you kept in Poké Pelago, and have a chanze to train them, zz-zz-zz, zo you can come up with the strategies on what Pokémon will you use in your future battlez, zzzt," Rotom commented.
"Rotom's right, yeah. And give your Pokémon some Spotlight on your battles. Give 'em a taste of a critical hit Mega Punch battles on the Trainers you will meet along the way! Woo! That way, you'll understand even more about Pokémon by forming a strong bonds with them."
"Y-Yeah, Professor," the couple sweatdropped about the Professor's Pokémon Move puns.
"I'm gonna have some research about this strange Z-Crystal you gave me. I'll let you know if I find out something," Kukui said, as he sat down to his chair and booted up his computer.
"Hey, Elio, why don't you try to use the Box Link? Let's go upstairs," Selene suggested.
"Right, Selene. Oh, Professor, we'll just go upstairs. Rotom, let's go."
"I'll just call you later, cousins!" Kukui said, his eyes still fixed on the computer, typing and searching on something.
Elio, Selene, and Rotom went to Professor's living room to check out the functions of the Pokémon Box Link.
Meanwhile, on the cliffs of Ten Carat Hill, a certain black and yellow-furred bipedal Pokémon, who has a big light blue tuft on its forehead and another one on its chest, has a light blue whiskers on its cheeks, a scarf-like fur that extends on the back of between its shoulders, and has a zigzag lightning-mark stripe patterns on its thighs and forearms, is watching over the outskirts, its eyes were fixated in the Melemele Sea.
Beside it was a small humanoid Pokémon, whose body is made of smoky gray shadows, has a scarlet flaring eyes, and has a headgear-like appearance located around the area of its face, with two curly wispy tufts that resemble horns, is also watching on the horizon.
"So, how was your task of watching these two representatives by the way?" the tiger-like Pokémon asked.
"They are fine, so to say. They seem to be worthy enough to handle us and train, but when is the right time to join them?" the black shadow Pokémon said.
"Hold your Rapidash out there, we'll join them soon enough. And before we do that, we must test their battling skills if they are truly worthy of handling us Mythicals. But I sense something special with those two Legendary bearers. I think they possessed something that a normal humans doesn't have. The same goes too to the other two unappointed representatives from a far region, and anytime, they will start on their journey soon. I don't know what it is but, I can feel it," the yellow feline Pokémon pondered.
"And that is?"
"I don't want to jump on my conclusions yet, but... " It whispers something on its ear, and quickly pulled apart. "...it's just my theory."
After hearing what its friend had said, the black Mythical Pokémon didn't say anything until it starts to laugh hysterically and rolling on the ground.
The yellow Mythical Pokémon was taken aback at its friend's outburst laughing, in which it casts an intimidating Glare on its friend.
"Hey, what's so funny?! If you don't stop this, I'm gonna use Plasma Fists at you!" the yellow bipedal Pokémon yelled in annoyance.
The small humanoid Pokémon continued laughing and it took a half minute before it recovered from hysterical laughter, then it said, "Seriously, Zeraora. That was the funniest thing I've ever heard from you. Why would you assume that theory? What are you been eating lately, huh?" the small humanoid Pokémon mocked, as it let out another laugh. "I almost rolled on the ground because of laughing here, you know?"
"I'm not making a fun here, Marshadow, and I'm eating well, thanks for your concern," the yellow Mythical Pokémon, now named Zeraora, replied sarcastically. "I'm serious here, my friend. We are tasked by Arceus to watch over and protect the sun bearer and the moon bearer for two reasons. One, because they had this something that we didn't know about what that is yet. And two, Arceus believed that they will play an important role in the upcoming threat that will unfold in the future. So for the meantime, we'll continue our task of watching them and see if we can discover something about them."
The black Mythical Pokémon, now named Marshadow, decided to stop laughing and it looks at Zeraora intently, with its expression had changed into a serious one. "Oh yeah, I just wonder why Arceus tasked us to watch over and to protect them. Is there really something special with those two?" Marshadow questioned.
"Like I said earlier, I don't know yet, I know there's something special with those two, and that includes the other two possibly new bearers from a far region as well. I can feel it," answered Zeraora, positively sensing a mysterious energy flowing through the bodies of the so-called Legendary bearers.
"Whatever that is, we'll find out soon," Marshadow said. "Hmm, what is Dada doing anyways as we speak now? Do you have any idea, Zeraora? Haven't heard anything from Dada since we're tasked here." Zeraora glanced at Marshadow, who seems to wonder what their fellow 'friend' was doing.
"The last thing that I heard is that Dada is taking care of a child that was found in the forest and then after some time, Dada was also tasked by Arceus on a mission, too. That's all I know for now. I had no idea where is Dada now, but I'm sure our friend is doing fine. Don't worry on our buffoon friend of ours, Marshadow," Zeraora replied nonchalantly.
Choosing not to talk about their fellow 'friend' that they haven't seen in a long time anymore, Marshadow dove down in the ground in its shadows, its head still visible, in which Zeraora noticed.
"Leaving so soon now, my friend?"
"Yes, Zeraora. I'll gonna continue watching over the Alolan Legendary bearers and see if I find out something. I'll let you know immediately," Marshadow said.
"Just be careful and remember, don't let them spot you, and protect them at all costs," Zeraora reminded.
Marshadow nodded and bid farewell on Zeraora, diving back into the shadows and dissapeared afterwards. Not wanting to much waste any more time, Zeraora went to the Farthest Hollow and ran off as fast as a yellow flash of lightning in a tremendous speed that can't be seen with a naked eye in a second, leaving a loud thunderclap in its tracks that is sure anyone can hear throughout the Ten Carat Hill and into the boundaries of Hau'oli City and Iki Town to the depths of Mahalo Trail. Tapu Koko, who is roaming somewhere in the forests at that time, also heard the loud, rumbling sound of lightning coming through the hill.
On the other hand, in the depths of the Melemele Sea, a batallion of small Pokémon, their heads looked like a hexagonal nut, and a body of a liquid metal, has emerged from what looked like an ancient box buried in the seafloor, ready to cause an outbreak anytime soon.
Elio and Selene were done checking out the functions of their Pokémon Box Links when they heard a sound of thunderclap coming from Ten Carat Hill. Startled, Selene jumped up at Elio accidentally. Surprised by this, he lost his balance and they both fell down on the floor. But luckily, he was able to catch her just in time before they fell.
"Zz-zz-zt, hey you two, are you alright?" Rotom asked with worry. He glanced at the window and said, "I wonder what'z going on in the Ten Carat Hill in the pazt few weekz."
"Yeah, Rotom. We're fine," he groaned, as he tried to struggle and get up, only to notice that his face were close to Selene's, as his cheeks turned red.
"Uh, sorry for that, Elio. Are you alright?" Selene asked, while moving her head apart from the neck-length haired Trainer. Her face also heated up on her cheeks when she noticed how close their faces are.
Staring at her beautiful face while blushing furiously, he quickly snapped out of it and replied, "I'm fine, but do you really need to jump up on me like that?"
"I was startled by that loud lightning coming out of nowhere, alright?"
"Is that the only reason?"
"Well, I..."
As Selene has lost on words on what he would say to Elio, she found herself staring at his grey eyes with admiration. The same goes to Elio, too, as if they're using Lock-On at each other.
As Rotom seeing this unfold, he quickly took a photo of them, saving it on his system storage as a 'keeper'.
"Well, well, well. Another stolen shot that I've got, zz-zzt." After he took a stolen shot photo at them, he saw the two Trainers still lying on the floor, with the Trainer wearing a red beanie hat still laying on top of the black capped Trainer's body. They look like they were about to make out soon at any moment.
"Hey! Are you two gonna stare and stay in your positions all the time here or what?" snapped Rotom.
"Huh?"
The two former trial-goers had came back to their senses from staring at each other, and quickly recomposed themselves. The short-haired girl was the first to get up, with Elio following suit, and sat on a nearby sofa. Selene apologize to Elio again, in which he replied that was fine. Before they could talk, Rotom floats above them and interjects. Rotom wants to know one thing from them, just to make sure.
"Hmm, I zenze zomething going on with you two, huh. Did something happened lazt night, Elio?" Rotom said, his serious face had turned into a wide smirk. "You do know what I'm talking about, don't you?" it added, Rotom's smirk was still plastered on his face.
"Hehe, guess you really want to know, huh?" Elio chuckled.
"I wonder what will be your reaction, Rotom, since you want to pair us so badly," Selene smirked.
"Yeah, I know that, brzzt. And what do you-" Rotom stopped when he saw what Elio would do next, causing his eyes to widen slowly.
Elio draped his left shoulder around Selene's shoulder. She giggles at his gesture and rest her head on his shoulder and moved closer to him affectionately. Rotom is trying to process and connect the pieces on his mind, until something was clicked on him. Rotom can't help but to scream on happiness like a couple celebrity fanatic.
"OH! Oh my Arceus! Oh my Arceus!" Rotom shrieked. "Could it be? Doez thiz mean..."
"Jeez, Rotom, I know you'll freak out at that," Selene laughed.
"Yes, Rotom. We're a couple now. And... we had shared our first kiss last night," Elio said.
"..." Rotom was silent at first, but after that, he let out a very loud scream that could overpower a Hyper Voice. "EH?!"
"Woo! I know there's something going on with you two earlier and I was right, yeah." The two Trainers, plus Rotom, had turned to see Professor Kukui ascending the stairs from the basement. "Seems you're having a Happy Hour here, and I'm glad for both of you, cousins. I knew you had a Spark from each other. You two make a perfect couple, just like me and my wife Burnet."
"Oh, Professor, there you are. Didn't realize you were there. I take that you hear everything here, right?" Selene said, in which she receives a nod of agreement from Professor.
"How's your research about the Z-Crystal?" asked Elio.
"Doing fine, and still in progress. I think I'm gonna consult Hala about this. Looks like it'll take some time before I figure out what that Z-Crystal is. I got a favor for you Elio and Selene, if you don't mind."
Hearing the Professor's favor, the couple glanced at each other for a moment, then they pulled apart from their affectionate gesture and stood up.
"Sure, what is it, Professor?" the former Champion asked.
"What can we do, Professor? Maybe we can help," Selene added.
"I want you two to investigate something. There's something going on in the Ten Carat Hill, and I want to know why is there a sound of lightning echoing over there in a past few weeks, although there are no signs of rain or storm occuring here. You all heard of that booming sound of thunderclap, yeah?" Kukui said, placing his hands on his hips.
"Yes, Professor. About that, do you have any idea on why is this happening? Have you tried to go there with the Kahuna Hala?" Selene asked.
"I had no idea as of now, that's why I asked you two to come over there. I want to go there and ask the Kahuna for help, but I am busy at that time and unfortunately, it eventually happens when I'm not here. My theory is that this could be a work of a powerful Pokémon that resides there."
Upon hearing the word 'powerful Pokémon', Elio beams with excitement with a sparkle in his eyes. "Powerful? Then, that means there's a rare Pokémon that I've never seen before! Ooh, I wonder what kind of powerful Pokémon that lives there! Maybe it's a Legendary, or Mythical, or even an Ultra-OW!"
"Would you calm down a bit now, Elio?" Selene scolded him, pinching his earlobe. "I know you're so excited of this kind of thing and you'll gonna say 'I'm gonna battle that and catch it', but Professor said it's just only his theory."
"Ow, ow, ow, will you stop pinching my ear now? That hurts," he pleaded.
Rotom and Professor Kukui can't help but to laugh at the sight of Elio's misfortune.
"Alright, enough of that now, you two," Kukui said, still chuckling. "Back to the point, will you two gladly accept my favor?"
"Yes, Professor! We'll do it," the couple responded without hesitation.
"Then it's settled. Rotom, you know the drill."
"Yez, Profezzor," Rotom saluted.
"I'm counting for both of you, yeah, and come back here safe and sound. You're both strong Trainers and I know you can handle it."
"Right!"
"Alright then, but before that, why don't you two stay here for a little chat for a while? I want to hear Selene's story of her previous travel in Kanto, yeah. How was it?"
While they are busy talking about Selene's journey with Lillie, unbeknownst to them that a black shadowy Pokémon had heard everything, before it dissapeared back in its shadows and headed its way back on the Ten Carat Hill.
"I got to tell Zeraora about this. They will be heading there soon."
Three hours later...
After having a chat with the Professor, Elio went back home with Selene at his house to have a lunch there before they go on their trek to Ten Carat Hill to investigate about the strange events of an occurence of thunderclap there.
Rotom seems to be dissapointed after he learned that Selene had gotten herself a new Rotom-inhabiting device, which is a Rotom Phone, with containing some new, advanced features than the device that he's possessing; but lucky for Rotom, before they leave, Professor Kukui enhanced some of Rotom's features and set his Pokédex database into National Mode, and even obtained some new features that can match on Selene's Rotom Phone, much to his delight.
After lunch, Elio went to his room to have a little rest while Selene helped in cleaning the dishes.
He decides to read a book while waiting for Selene. He was about to grab a book in his closet when he noticed a Cherish Ball that was hidden beside the books and seems to be unused for a very long time.
He took the Cherish Ball out of instinct and examined it, while reminiscing the memories on how he obtained it.
He obtained the Cherish Ball when he was 8 years old, back way in his native region Kanto from his father as a gift, containing a very special Pokémon hailing from another region that will protect him and his mother from any danger they came across, which is he still doing it on this days. His father told him that if he formed a strong bond with his Pokémon, its true power will awaken and will become as one someday. So to say, this was originally his first ever Pokémon.
He remembered the fun times they had with his Pokémon and his cousin. Speaking of his cousin, he haven't heard much about him or his aunt since they moved from a far region to live there. He was so sad when he found out that his cousin will moving to the far off region, but his cousin promised that they'll meet again someday and vows that when they became Trainers, they will have a battle, but he demanded that he want to battle Elio's special Pokémon, in which he gladly accepts.
He quickly befriended it, formed a strong bond with it, and it even became his and his mother's personal bodyguard and protector, after witnessing how strong his special Pokémon is when they were attacked by a bunch of thieves that later revealed that they were a former grunts of a notorious criminal organization known as Team Rocket.
When they moved to Alola, after he received his starter Litten from Professor Kukui that was originally from Hala and became a Trainer to partake in the Island Challenge, he made a request for his special Pokémon to take care of his mother while he was away travelling the Alola region. He made an oath that they'll meet again someday once he became strong enough as a Trainer and offered him to join him in his future journeys, in which his Pokémon accepts.
The last time that he heard that his protector was training somewhere in the forests of Melemele Island, according to his mother. It will only come home often to check up on her, or to stay in the house to help her on her daily chores while he was away.
While staring at his Cherish Ball, he felt a mysterious presence coming from outside the house. Knowing the familiar presence that he felt, he smirked delightfully.
"He's here!" he said excitedly, while dashing out in his room and headed outdoors. Still holding the Cherish Ball in his hand while running, he dragged Rotom swiftly on the way, much to his confusion.
His mother's Meowth blinked. "Mrarr?"
"Eek, what now, Elio, zzt? Don't drag me this way, roto! Where are we going and why are you in such a hurry? Zz-zz-zzt!" Rotom cried.
"Relax, Rotom, there is someone I would like you to meet, and he was my original first Pokémon I ever had," the Kantonian native said.
"Your originally first Pokémon? And who could that be?"
At that time, his mother and Selene had just finished washing the dishes when they noticed Elio dashing out of the house, with Rotom being dragged out.
"Where is he going now? I thought he will take a little rest before we head out," Selene wondered.
"Why don't you follow him and find out the reason on why he went out in such a rush?" Elio's mother suggested while chuckling.
"Huh? What do you mean?" she blinked.
"You'll see."
"I can sense he's here! I know it!"
"What are you talking about, Elio? I can't compute on what are you zaying, zzt!"
Elio ran around to the area of Route 1, just behind of their house, until he found it, standing under the palm tree, its eyes focused on the horizon of the sea, waiting for someone. Until it sensed him coming.
The Pokémon that he shared a strong bond with it.
The Pokémon that served him as his loyal protector when he was young.
His friend.
Standing in front of him was a dark blue bipedal, frog-like Pokémon with a yellow colored chest. It has red eyes, a mouth that is hidden by a large pink tongue that resembles a scarf and is wrapped around its neck that extends outward behind its head, a fin-like protusion on the middle of its head, with a blue webbing connected to the two similar fins located on each side of its head, has a white bubble-like bump on its elbows and knees, and a feet with two toes and a hands with three fingers, with each having a yellow webbing connected.
Elio ran forward and greeted him, his smile still present on his face.
"Hey, Greninja! I'm happy to see you again! It's been a long time!"
"EH?! You had a Greninja all along this time?! How come I didn't know this?!" Rotom screamed while his eyes widening in surprise and disbelief, not knowing that Elio has another Pokémon in his sleeve, causing him to step back, with a sweat dropping on his face. "I can't believe I will get a chance to see Greninja up close like this!"
Rotom did not waste this opportunity to take pictures on Greninja in different angles, only for it to feel uncomfortable and sweat dropped at Rotom's enthusiasm.
An image of Greninja with a #658 and icons of a water droplet and a covered moon appeared on his screen.
"Greninja, the Ninja Pokémon. A Water and Dark type, and a final evolved form of Froakie, one of the starters native from Kalos region. It creates throwing stars out of compressed water. When its spins them and throws them at high speed, these stars can split metal into two," Rotom explained. "Wow, sound'z powerful, zz-zzt!"
"Rotom, this is the one that I would like you to meet. My first-ever Pokémon that I got from my father when I was eight, Greninja. Greninja, meet Rotom Dex. He's with me since on my journey here in Alola," Elio said.
"Hi, Greninja. It'z nice to meet ya."
"Inja."
"He says that it's nice to meet you, too, Rotom," Elio interpreted.
"I know that, zzt!"
"Huh? But-"
"Do you remember that Profezzor enhanced me and added some new featurez to me a while ago?"
"Yeah, I still remember." Then, a realization hit him. "Oh, so does this mean you can now translate what Pokémon are saying?"
"Exactly!" Rotom said with pride.
"So cool! Professor is the best!" he exclaimed with a sparkle in his eyes.
"Hey, Elio, which remindz me, how do you-"
"There you are, smarty pants," a feminine voice called out, a voice that Elio knew.
Greninja gazed his focus on a newcomer. It was a girl with a cream colored shirt and green shorts, but this time, she's not wearing his red beanie hat. He already knew that she was one of Elio's friends travelling with him.
But Greninja sensed something with the girl. Greninja could have sworn that he saw a multi-colored aura flowing within her body. Unsure of what that is, Greninja shrugged it off and decided to go on with the flow, thinking that he was imagining things.
Elio turned to face the newcomer, in which he flashed her a wide grin.
"Hey, Selene! Over here!" he called, waving at her.
The short-haired girl walked over him when she saw Elio waving at her.
"Hey there, Selene, zzt!" Rotom greeted.
"Hey there, Rotom," she greeted back. Then she turned on Elio. "I know you'll be going here in this parts, Elio. And what-"
She stopped finishing her sentence when she noticed a figure behind him. A ninja frog-like Pokémon that she knew well.
"Wait, is that a Greninja behind you? And what is it doing here in Alola?" she asked.
Elio was about to speak when Rotom interrupted.
"Yez, Selene. It is a Greninja. And you won't believe this. This Greninja originally belongs to Elio. I never knew he owns this such a powerful Pokémon!" Rotom exclaimed.
"WHAT?!"
Hi!
I've been busy lately for almost two months, and I don't have a free time to write. But finally it's done! And I even made some few changes here at the end here before I finished this.
Now, I would like to thank:
merry1995: Thanks, man! I'm glad you liked it! I had also have a soft spot with this kind of romances like you, too. About Elio's team, that was I preferred for him. More of Elio's team will be revealed in the future, so as Selene, too. I'm trying to do my best, and thanks again! I hope you liked this one and I want to hear your opinion about this, dude! :)
thewillyrex: Thanks for the compliment! I know that Elio/Sun X Selene/Moon pairings are rarely seen on this site, some of them are from PokéSpe. About the errors you pointing out, I already fixed that. English is not my native language, so if you spot some errors, let me know. I'm trying to do my best, as I'm still new here. Nobody's perfect after all. Hope you like this one then.
I don't know when I'll gonna update this due to my busy schedule, but when I find a free time, I'll gonna be working on this as soon as I can.
I'm planning on developing a new story focusing on Ash and his friends. This will take a long time, but I hope I can pull it off right in the future.
Leave a review on what you think of this. Until next time then.
Pokémon getto da ze!
