''Hey San.'' Quinn says smiling brightly as her best friend walks up to her after the last class of their day.
''Hey Q.'' Santana mumbles smiling slightly, Quinn frowns turning to look at her and sighs.
''What happened?''
''Ugh the folks thought I was too loud and 'punished' me.''
Quinn stops walking before they reach the choir room and turns Santana towards her, she cups her chin tilting her head up into the light and closes her eyes sighing sadly as she sees the bruise she tried to hide. ''Fuck San.''
''It's okay Q, it doesn't hurt that much.'' Santana mumbles shrugging her shoulders.
Quinn shakes her head and sighs. ''You want to sleepover this weekend? I am sure mom will love having you around.''
''Can't, promised Dani to stay at home and to call with her every day when she is in New York.''
''And you can't do that from my house?'' Quinn asks frowning, Santana shakes her head and bites her lip.
''No, maybe next time Q the folks also need little one to show off the perfect grandparent act.''
Quinn sighs sadly as Santana turns on her heels walking into the second as she sees Dani walk around the corner and runs a hand through her hair grumbling as Dani walks past her smirking as usual.
She frowns as she sees the fresh scratches going down her back before Dani puts on her leather jacket and growls storming into the choir room ready to yell at her, she freezes as she bumps into someone and quickly looks up as that person groans.
''Shit sorry Brittany!'' She exclaims reaching out to help her keep standing as she lifts her right leg to ease the pain, Brittany shakes her head biting her lip and sighs.
''It's okay Quinn, what's with the hurry?'' Brittany raises an eyebrow as she sees the rage in her eyes and sighs. ''Okay not here, go sit down we will talk at the apartment after school.'' She mumbles as Will walks in.
Santana looks at her best friend in confusion as she walks over to them after talking in hushed whispers with Brittany and raises an eyebrow, Quinn just shakes her head sitting down beside her girlfriend and sighs. ''It's nothing San.''
''Alright kids listen up.'' Will says as he walks into the choir room, he walks over to the white board and writes something on it tapping it after turning to the group. ''This weeks assignment is all about duets, couples won't sing together though!'' He chuckles as he hears everyone groan and shrugs. ''Search yourself a partner.''
Brittany watches in amusement as her sister immediately grabs Jake as her duet partner and smiles as Quinn and Santana move together silently telling them that they paired up.
Santana turns to Mr Schue and clears her throat. ''Mr Schue when do we have to perform?''
''Tomorrow why?''
''Can Quinn and I perform first? I need to leave soon after.'' She sighs as he frowns and shrugs her shoulder. ''I have a doctors appointment.''
''Yeah that is no problem, I am sure we can arrange something.'' Mr Schue says immediately knowing what doctors appointment she has, he turns to Brittany and smiles. ''Brittany, do you know why you are here?''
''Because you love my presence around here?'' Brittany asks smirking as she hears her sister, Quinn and Santana snicker, Will rolls his eyes and laughs.
''Beside that.'' He smirks as she shrugs her shoulders and knocks on the door. ''Come on in!''
Brittany frowns turning to look at the door and smiles brightly jumping off of the piano as Mercedes Jones and Puck walk into the choir room, Mercedes looks at her and smiles lovingly. ''Hey soldier.''
''Cedes!'' Brittany exclaims smiling brightly as she walks over to her, she wraps her arms around her shoulder ignoring the hushed whispers around them and kisses her cheek. ''How ya doing superstar?''
Mercedes pulls out of the hug and laughs. ''Pretty good, how long are you back for?''
''For good C, will be staying in Lima until Em graduates.''
''Wait how do you two know each other?'' Santana asks in confusion as she looks at the three adults standing by the piano, Mercedes turns to the teens smiling lovingly and shrugs.
''The three of us graduated together a few years ago and became friends thanks to Mr Schue and glee.''
Puck chuckles wrapping his arms around Mercedes and Brittany's shoulders and turns to the teens. ''I think the three of us are the only ones who really kept in touch, Britt send us letters and we replied to them Cedes was also around quite often whenever she visited her parents.''
''But you are like really famous and Puck is well Puck.'' Emily says confused.
''Well thanks Em.'' Puck mutters rolling his eyes as his friends and the teens burst out laughing, Mercedes laughs patting Puck's back and nods her head.
''Well yeah but not everyone decided that singing was something they wanted to do later on, Puck decided that working on cars was more his thing and decided to stay in town for Jake after they met each other and he preferred to build up a good relationship with his brother.'' She turns to Brittany and frowns slapping the back of her head. ''Blondie over here decided to risk her life and serve even though she was a hell of a dancer and had an offer to become a background dancer for Beyonce.''
''Call me Blondie again and I will kick your ass Jones.'' Brittany grumbles rubbing the back of her head as the teens all turns to her in shock, Mercedes looks up at her and raises an eyebrow.

''Ugh shut up.'' Brittany murmurs as she hears the kids laugh, Santana turns to Emily and chuckles.

Brittany looks up at the teens throwing a fake glare towards Santana and glances at her sister raising an eyebrow, Emily giggles and reaches out squeezing Santana's hand throwing Dani a glare as she swats her hand away and smirks. ''She is only this nice because she knows that you are my best friend, she can be quite mean too.''
''Quite?'' Mercedes, Mr Schue and Puck question laughing, Emily turns to them and laughs.

''You know it.'' Brittany murmurs smirking locking eyes with Dani silently telling her to back off, she turns to Mercedes and smiles. ''What are you doing here? I though you were on tour.''
''I am but decided to use my rest day to visit one of my best friends, why didn't you tell me that you were coming back?!''
Brittany shrugs her shoulders and sighs. ''Because the decision came quite unexpectedly.'' She pulls herself back on top of the piano and locks eyes with Mercedes. ''Got injured during a mission and after that my captain decided that it was the end of my time and honorably discharged me.''
''Fuck that bad?'' Mercedes asks shocked, Brittany nods her head and sighs.
''Bad enough to say that I not only fucked up my time at the army but quite possibly also the chance to dance.''
''But if you train your knee it is possible that you can dance later on right?'' Puck asks as he sees Mercedes hugging Britt again, Britt nods her head and sighs.
''Yeah but that will take a while.'' She turns to Will and raises an eyebrow. ''Care to tell us why we are here?''
Will nods his head and mentions his hand at the teens. ''Choose your partner or partners and show us what you got.''
''Gimme the feisty Latina!'' Mercedes exclaims immediately, she turns to the band and smirks. ''Play river deep!''
Brittany laughs sliding off of the piano as she watches Santana shrugs of Dani's hand from her leg in shock and offers her, her hand she squeezes it softly and smiles reassuringly. ''Cedes is still Cedes, in here she is no superstar relax.''
She walks over dropping in the empty chair between her sister and Dani and kicks the back of Puck's chair as he sits down in front of her next to Jake. ''How do we want to top that?'' She asks nodding her head to the duo in the middle of the dance floor swaying their hips to the beat.
Puck tilts his head looking up at her and laughs. ''We can't.'' He turns to Emily and smirks. ''Want to join me and Jake?'' Emily nods her head and smiles brightly.

''Cedes managed to pull San out of her shell in a matter of second, she is good.'' She whispers softly so only she and Quinn hears her.
''Dani hates it though.'' Quinn whispers as she sees the blue haired girl beside Brittany glare at Santana, Brittany turns to them and smirks.

Brittany shakes her head standing up as the song ends and pulls both girls with her as Santana and Mercedes both walk to the seats, she gives them both a high five as they walk past her and leans against the piano looking at both girls. ''Dani won't see Santana before her flight.''
''What, how?'' Emily asks confused, Brittany shrugs her shoulders and smirks.
''Santana needs some arts tutoring and I will make sure that we will do it tonight.'' She pulls herself on top of the piano and turns to the band whispering the song to them, she turns back to Quinn as they nod their heads and smirks. ''Show me what you got Quinn.''

Brittany smiles pushing Mercedes back in her seat and leans forward looking at Santana. ''Hey Santana, Mrs Smith asked me if I could tutor you in Arts do you have time tonight? Next week is quite bad for me because I have a few appointments.''
She turns back to the dance floor as she hears a familiar tune and laughs as Puck, Jake and her sister sing sweet Caroline while jamming on guitars, Quinn watches her girlfriend and leans forward locking eyes with her best friend. ''Don't worry Em and I will take her.''
Santana bites her lip knowing she normally has to deny but that her grades for arts are pulling her down too, she locks eyes with Quinn and nods her head. ''Please.'' She turns to Brittany and smiles slightly. ''Yeah tonight sounds good.'' She forces out trying to ignore the pain Dani's hold on her leg is causing.
Brittany nods her head and turns back to Quinn frowning in confusion. ''Who will you take?''

Brittany nods her head in understanding and sighs having a feeling the Latina is hiding much more than just the abuse at school, she turns back to the trio on the floor and chuckles as she hears her sister end the song with a high note and the boys standing with their backs towards her.
''Damn guys that was amazing!'' Will exclaims smiling brightly, he turns to Mercedes and smiles. ''It was really nice to see you again Mercedes, I hope we get to see you more.''
Mercedes turns to glance at Brittany and smirks. ''Now that Britt is back I will be in town much more Will, I was already around because of Puck but now that I know both of my best friends are here I will definitely visit more.''
''Will you please join us in here too?'' Santana asks smiling ignoring the sting of Dani's fingernails in her leg, Mercedes turns to look at her and smiles.
''I am sure that can be arranged Santana, but I am sure Emily will let you know when I am in town and I think you are more than welcome at the apartment.''
''They all are.'' Puck says smiling as he looks at the teens sitting around his best friends, Will smiles clapping in his hands and sighs.

Quinn jumps up grabbing her girlfriends bag and shoulders her own, she jumps down the rows and hands her girlfriend her bag. ''Babe we need to go pick Bella up.'' She whispers softly, Emily turns to Santana in confusion and tilts her head.
Santana smiles walking over to her with Brittany and runs a hand through her hair. ''Your sister will tutor me in Arts tonight, is it okay when she stays with you till we are done?''
Emily smiles brightly and nods her head. ''Yes of course!'' She turns to her sister and smiles. ''Dinner tomorrow?''
''Yeah sounds good sis.'' Brittany replies with a small smile, she turns to Mercedes and smiles. ''How long will you be here Cedes?''
''Till tomorrow evening why?''
''You got a hotel room?'' Brittany asks, she smiles as she shakes her head and chuckles. ''Wanna stay at the apartment?''
''You have place?'' Mercedes asks confused, Brittany rolls her eyes and chuckles.
''We can share the bed C won't be the first time, Santana will join us I have to tutor her how to satisfy Mrs Smith in class.''

Brittany nods her head hugging her and smiles hugging Quinn. ''Yeah see you tomorrow.'' She turns to Santana after they said goodbye and smiles. ''Ready to go?''
Santana nods her head shouldering her bag and sighs. ''Yeah let's go.'' She follows the three adults out of the choir room and bites her lip as Dani waits for her outside of the room. ''Will be right back.''
She tightens her hold on her bag walking over to Dani after Brittany hummed and bites her lip, Dani reaches out forcefully pulling her closer not noticing the three adults keeping an eye on them and glares at her girlfriend. ''What the fuck bitch? I told you to come home with me tonight preferably without little bitch!''
Santana bites her lip in pain as her fingers push down on a bruise and looks up at Dani. ''I have to let her tutor me Dani otherwise I will fail class and I can't graduate.'' She murmurs in pain, she glares up at her and gulps. ''And don't talk about her like that!''
Dani growls letting go off her as she notices the adults looking at them while talking in hushed whispers and shoots them a glare. ''I hope you won't tell them otherwise you will face hell on Monday!''
Santana rubs her arm and shakes her head. ''I won't tell anyone, just leave us be Dani.''
''We will see.'' Dani growls storming past her, Santana turns her head biting back her tears and shakes her head.
''Fuck!'' She grumbles immediately taking out her phone, she scrolls down to Quinn and sends her a text.
Dani is pissed please call me if she shows up at your house!
She turns back around walking over to the three adults and forces a smile. ''Sorry, let's go.''
''You alright Santana?'' Mercedes asks concerned noticing the typical behavior of someone living in an abuse household, Santana turns to look at her and smiles.
''Yeah I am fine Mercedes.''
Brittany exchange a glance with her best friends slowly shaking her head telling them to drop it and turns to the younger girl. ''Alright let's go.''
Santana nods her head following them out of the school and takes out her phone as it buzzes.
She won't show up because mom is here, she also told me to tell you that you are staying with us this weekend she wants to spend some time with little B.
She sighs reading Quinn's reply and bites her lip typing out her answer.
