In the morning after that particular night that Eren inherited the Attack titan and the founding that he cannot control….. wakes up early by himself cause of old military habit that have within him in the Scout Regiment. Before this, Mikasa always the one who woke me up in the morning.
"huh, old military habit stay within me even I travelled back into the past" Eren smiled a little by his thought
"I should build up my muscle now before I entering the military " Eren talk to himself while walking to the exit door to get some fresh air and doing some exercise
When he opened the door, he sees her, the one who fights with him multiple time, the one who crystallized herself to avoid died by my hand, Annie Leonhart. She seems like breathing in the fresh air in the morning. Unfazed Eren walked to her and start breathing in the morning fresh caged air. Eren just gives a side glace a little bit to see Annie that surprised a little from my arrival. I continue to start working up by doing a simple exercise that this 10 years old body can handle
"Who are you, Why you waking up so early and why you doing exercise? "Annie suddenly ask me a dozen question
"Can you ask one question per time ?" answer unfazed Eren while giving Annie a side glace with a dreadful green eye and continue working up his body. Annie take the answer by surprise
"huh…ok. Who are you? "asked Annie while unconsciously following Eren exercise that consisted of some pump up, sit up and a little more
"My name is Eren, what your name?" Eren asks Annie with a boring look because he already knew her name, her comrade name too. Reiner and Bertolt
"My name is Annie, just how you can wake up early before anyone else" Annie ask Eren while doing some sit up still following Eren, the boys she knew a little about him pace
"Sometimes we have secret that only we knew " answer Eren while standing up while his body drenched in sweat from this workup similar to Annie who also drenched in sweat
Annie again taken back by his answer start thinking to herself
"who is this boy?" standing up Annie think to herself
"By the way, why I working up is also a secret, " says Eren emotionlessly and giving Annie a quick dreadful glance and walking past Annie to go to the bathroom and clean up his exercise sweat.
Annie took back again Eren speech. Emotionless and clueless standing there until Reiner and Berthold come to her to wake her up from her world
"Hey Annie are you ok?" ask Reiner while holding her shoulder
"huh? hah? where do you come from Reiner, Bertolt" asking back while still clueless about what happens just then
"doest you do not remember, that both of us fetch some food or you still traumatized from what we have done? " Bertolt says but the traumatized part he says whispering to Annie's ear to make sure no one hears it
"Annie why you drenched in sweat" ask Reiner
"yes but no. I just found particular boys who are strange that make me like this. I also follow his work up that why I drenched in sweat" answer Annie both of Reiner and Berthold question"
"What his name?" Reiner ask while sitting on the grass and eating stale bread same with Annie and Berthold
"Eren, that all I know about him " answer Annie while looking at Reiner and eating stale bread on her left hand
After finishing washing himself up, Eren exit the bathroom and greeted by his step-sister Mikasa and his best friend Armin
"Eren!"Mikasa shout at Eren for disappeared from the refuge centre
"Where did you..ugh" Out of place Eren hug both Mikasa and Armin. Both of them surprised by his action and want to get out of Eren sudden hug, but Eren insisted do not let go and they both comply with his strange request especially his only family now, his stepsister Mikasa
"Please…let me have this moment" Eren miss them after The Rumbling that cost both of their life and his friend life. Eren want to hug them for eternity to let go of his longing for both of them but he couldn't, he have to prepare what will happen next to save their and his friend life
"Thank guys let me hug you " Eren let go of his hug and stare at both with a little tear out of his beautiful green eye.
"Eren, are you still traumatize by the event?" asked concern Armin. What? . The event of his mother get eaten by smiling sure shock his core so hard. Mikasa just sit there still shock by Eren sudden hug
Eren walk a few steps ahead and looking back at them. Sure when he was 10 years old, he still traumatizes by that event, that his mother gets eaten by the smiling titan but soon he grew older and his mind becoming more mature. The story of his dead mother get eaten by The Smiling Titan, no…his father first wife Dina Fritz eat her, doesn't affect him anymore.
"Let go eat breakfast shall we, maybe we can find a job that can afford us food for the next 2 year" Eren just past by Armin question. Before this, they work at the farm before entering the training corpse to past the time and get some money to buy food and all the necessary needed.
"huh…yeah! yeah! Mikasa let go eat breakfast " Armin surprised by his ignoration to his question that makes him stop a little before coming back at his sense. He shakes Mikasa a bit to wake her up from her world because she still shocks by Eren sudden hug. Who doest anyways, when an angry and rash boy becoming like this
"yeah…" Mikasa answers quietly because of what caused his step brother, Eren becoming like this. Did he hit his head too hard?. Sure, it nice but why Eren hug her out of his mind. Mikasa just keeps questioning and thinking in her mind. Doesn't know that they already arrive at the cafeteria that gives free food to the fugitive from Wall Maria that fleed to wall Sina because of The Titan Attack.
"I get the food, you both stay here" stated Eren before going to get some stale bread, sure it tasted bland but who are they to complain about the food. We eat food to survive, not we live to eat food. Eren separate from both of them to get food. After Eren not being in the line of sight of both of them, Armin suddenly ask Mikasa what happen to their friend, Eren
"Mikasa do you notice Eren sudden change " Armin ask Mikasa with a concerned eye
"I doest know, he seems more rational than before, maybe he still shocks from the event" Mikasa take a few minutes of thinking before answering Armin question
"His eye it feels with grieve when he hugs us just a few moments back there" Armin stated because he really concerns about his friend, Eren
"I do not know what hit his head but it nice to seem he like this " Mikasa said to Armin while her eyes searching for any sight of Eren
"He was acting weird after last night, he wakes by…argh!"Suprise Armin when he sees his friend Eren out of existent already arrive beside them. Eren taking a sit beside Mikasa, that shock a little by his sudden appearing before getting back to her normal composure, after dispersing the stale bread to his friend
Eren hears their conversation about him becoming out of character from miles air thank to military training that he practices avoiding titan when he in the Scout Regiment Expedition, but he not taken back by their statement. Just let their talk pass by him and eating the stale breath as nothing happen
"Eren did..did..you hear our convention " Armin ask scaredly to Eren, not wanting his friend getting mad by their statement of him
Eren takes a few seconds to shallow the stale bread before giving Armin a quick glance and give out his answer and keep eating his bread. Her sister, Mikasa just watching the play come out while eating the stale bread that Eren give to her
"No" a quick and simple response that easy to understand. Armin take a breath of relief before continue eating his breath
After 3 of them finishing breakfast, they find a job to make some money to buy some food and cloth to wear. After searching for hours, they find a job on the farm that originally in Eren past they work here but Eren doesn't say anything about this to his friend and step sister, Mikasa and Armin. The pay wasn't really good but it sure can afford them some food and some clothes to survive. It make them survive for the next two years, so they have to accept it. They need to survive after all.
For the next two years, they work at the farm while Eren will wake up by himself every morning to do some work out before going to work with both of them. In the night, Eren will sneakily go out from the place to practice 3D Maneuver Gear that he buy from the black market, at the nearby forest to avoid suspicion. Eren also keeps his hair up long and making it half man bun.
A/N Just Eren in the recent episode with a smaller body but muscular
When Mikasa and Armin try to cut his hair, Eren will run away from them. From his everyday training, he can easily outrun both of them. Eren will only cut his hair up by himself when it gets too long, not too much just to make himself presentable to the public eye. From his training also making his body muscular. Sometime when his abs show a little bit by accident he makes many girls squeak in embarrassment, Mikasa also will blush when seeing his abs. It continues until they reach 12 years old and legible to enter the training corpse
