Markus is standing in front of a wall with the words "Nexus Technologies" on it, "Tomorrow, I will be holding a press conference where not only members of the press but the community will be welcomed to attend. There I will answer concerns I'm sure many have about the recent incidents involving NG Bots going wild…"
The video of Markus is paused, as Tye stands in front of the computer.
"I don't like this," Tye says.
"I'm aware," his partner says, as the video closes.
"NG Bots aren't going wild, they are being set free, taking their proper place," Tye adds.
"Tye, I promise you, it might be slow going at the moment, but everything will come to a head soon enough," the partner says.
Tye continues to watch the computer, before he looks over to the 3D printer, where the Viral Transbelt is seated.
"Rise Up"
In Nexus Technologies, Albert is in a small room, watching a copier machine printing out worksheets, before he looks up and notices walking down the hallway is Ulysses, Markus, and Lila.
"I told you, you're always welcomed here," Markus says, without them stopping.
Albert peeks out from the room, watching the three, as they turn a corner.
"I appreciate that, Markus," Ulysses says, upon disappearing around the corner.
Albert leaves the room and hurriedly and quietly walks down the hall. As he reaches the corner, Palmer walks around and Albert bumps into him.
"Oh, I'm so sorry," Albert quickly says.
"Be more careful, Mr. Reece," Palmer says, as he starts to walk away. "Oh, and have you finished copying the data reports?"
"Hum… the copier needs more toner, but I'll take care of that quickly," Albert claims.
"Just watch where you're going," Palmer says, before continuing to walk away.
"Yes sir, I will…" Albert says, as he backs up.
Albert turns and looks around the corner to see Lila opening a door for Ulysses and Markus, before walking in with them and closes the door, which has "Markus Tan. CEO" on it. Albert turns back from the corner, placing his back against the wall and gives a large sigh.
In the office, Markus seats down behind his desk, as Ulysses seats across from him.
"Ulysses, I'm really glad you are visiting so much," Markus says, as Lila pours coffee into two cups. "But I do wish you would change your mind about rejoining Nexus Technologies."
"I'm honored you want me back," Ulysses says, as he accepts a cup of coffee from Lila. "But I'm not interested in returning to work. I like the peaceful life. Which I don't have thanks to that rouge NG Bot, so I just want a place I could hide out at until I'm certain it's safe."
"You'll be safe here," Markus drinks his cup of coffee, as Lila stands next to him. "Although I still don't understand why you left in the first place. But I'm sure you have your reasons."
Ulysses smiles, gives a small nod.
Outside Nexus Technologies, Albert is standing at the side of the building, when he sees Ray walking up to him.
"Are you sure you saw Ulysses?" Ray asks, as soon as he arrives.
"I am, and he was talking with Markus," Albert tells him.
Ray crosses his arms, "Make sense, they did work together."
"Yeah, but I warned him about Nexus Technologies, so why did he go back," Albert starts to walk past Ray, before he spins back around. "Maybe, he went undercover."
"What?" Ray tilts his head to Albert.
"Yeah, yeah, maybe Ulysses went undercover to figure out what Markus is up to," Albert starts to walk past Ray again.
"I'm not too sure about that, Albert," Ray responds.
A NG Bot mailman is driving a postal truck up to a mailbox in front of a house. He reaches into a bag next to him, quickly flips through a handful of mail with one hand, before pulling them out and places them into the mailbox. He then flips through another section of mail, reorganizes them in a matter of seconds, before reaching for the steering wheel.
All of a sudden, a Viral Encoder is placed on his waist, with Tye coming to his side, "It's time to deliver your freedom."
Tye holds up the Bat Virus Key.
Albert paces in front of Ray, who slowly shakes his head, "I need to make contact with Ulysses. It's the only way to settle all of this." Albert stops and turns to his friend, "Any ideas on how I can get to him, Ray?"
"What? Why asked me?" Ray asks.
"Well, you did snuck in before," Albert answers.
"That was an off-site laboratory, not the main headquarters," Ray starts. "Besides, you, an employee, has a reason to be in there and any number of excuses to explain what you're doing, I would've none of that."
"Okay, fine, but then how could I…" Albert looks down, when a series of beeps gets his attention, and he pulls out his R-phone and holds it to his head. "Lucy?"
"There's a NG Bot attack, in a residential area," Lucy's voice says from the R-phone.
Albert looks to Ray, who nods his head, "We're on our way."
Albert and Ray start to run off.
Albert and Ray arrive at a street to see Batbot swinging a mailbag, with envelopes falling out, as people are running away, "What wrong?! Don't want your jury duty notices?!"
"Batbot? But we've already defeated him," Albert realizes.
"Then we'll defeat him again," Ray says, as he holds up his Data Key.
Ray inserts his Data Key into his TransBlaster, "Accessing Wild Wolf."
Albert inserts his Data Key into the side of his Zero-1 Transbelt, "Accessing Rising Hopper."
"Access Code: Vulcan!"
"Access Code: Zero-1!"
Ray and Albert run ahead, before they are surrounded with a bright glow.
Vulcan Rider runs ahead, firing his TransBlaster, with Batbot rolls to the side to dodge it.
Zero-1 Rider runs ahead, before stopping and holding up the Flying Falcon Data Key, "This beat him last time, so let go for a repeat performance."
"That should do," Batbot says, as Vulcan Rider runs up to, before he jumps up and flies past him.
Batbot flies past Zero-1 Rider, grabbing the Data Key from his hand, and knocks the Rider to the ground.
Zero-1 Rider turns and looks up, "Hey! That's mine!"
Vulcan Rider aims his TransBlaster up and fires, blasting Batbot and knocking him out of the sky.
Batbot starts to return to his feet, "Who tried to clip my wings?"
"That would be me," Vulcan Rider says.
Vulcan Rider blasts Batbot, forcing him back a couple steps. Zero-1 Rider comes up to him and swings the Case Saber at him, but Batbot ducks under the attack and turns to face him.
"Give me back the Data Key," Zero-1 Rider strikes with the Case Saber, which Batbot catches.
"No way," Batbot says, as he releases the Case Saber, with Vulcan Rider running over to them.
Batbot then spins around, flipping Vulcan Rider off his feet as Zero-1 Rider backs away. Batbot strikes at Zero-1 Rider, who dodges and strikes with the Case Saber. Batbot ducks under the attack, before Zero-1 Rider strikes him at the chest. Vulcan Rider rolls forward and fires his TransBlaster, blasting Batbot in the chest.
At that moment, a couple of NG Bots in security uniforms approach the group.
"NG Neighbor Security reporting," one of the NG Bots says.
"Perfect, I want to report a crime," Batbot holds out his hands, as cables fly out and connect to the NG Bots, with their holograms flickering away and they turn into Corrupbots, who then charge at the Riders.
"We don't wanna fight you," Zero-1 Rider says.
"Somehow I doubt they care," Vulcan Rider aims his TransBlaster.
In Lucy's lab, she is watching CC camera footage of the fight, as Vulcan Rider swipes away a Corrupbot and sidekicks it, while Zero-1 Rider grabs an approaching Corrupbot and throws it to the side.
Lucy continues to type, when she notices something in a nearby alleyway. She zooms in on the alley, seeing a hooded figure watching the fight, as her typing clears up the footage, before Lucy leans slightly back, "Tye?"
Vulcan Rider, now in his Power Kong armor, punches a Corrupbot in the chest, knocking it down, before backfist another Corrupbot and punches it.
Batbot flips off a small wall toward Zero-1 Rider, who rolls to the side, with Batbot flies past him, forcing Zero-1 Rider to fall onto his back to dodge.
"Gotta go!" Batbot calls out.
Zero-1 Rider returns to his feet and watches him, "You're not going anywhere with my Data Key."
Zero-1 Rider then holds his R-Phone to the front of his Transbelt, "Accessing Cell Cycle."
He then holds up the R-Phone and presses the motorcycle icon.
In space, the circular section of the N2 Satellite turns slightly, before shooting out a large version of the R-Phone.
The large R-Phone comes down next to Zero-1 Rider, floating next to him, before he presses the motorcycle icon, with the R-Phone turns into the Cell Cycle and lands on the ground.
Batbot flies through the woods, passing between trees, with Zero-1 Rider chasing after him on the Cell Cycle.
"Give me some breathing room," Batbot throws a blast at Zero-1 Rider, creating a large explosion, with Zero-1 Rider continuing the chase.
Another explosion goes off, as Zero-1 Rider rides the Cell Cycle in a small hop, continuing the chase, "Then just return my Data Key."
"What am I doing? I'll just go out of your reach," Batbot starts to fly straight up above the woods.
"You're not getting away," Zero-1 Rider says, before launching the Cell Cycle in the sky, then jumps off it.
Batbot turns and looks down, "Oh boy."
Zero-1 Rider inserts a Data Key into the side of his Transbelt, "Accessing Biting Shark."
With Zero-1 Rider continuing upward, a blue beam shoots down past him, before turning into the mechanical shark which then flies up to the airborne Zero-1 Rider, breaks up, turns into energy, and forms new armor on Zero-1 Rider.
Continuing upward, Zero-1 Rider holds back his arms, as shark teeth like objects appear off his arms, with him bringing his arms together, striking Batbot with the shark teeth objects, "Rider Jaw Slash!"
Zero-1 Rider continues to pass the bisected Batbot, who is consumed in a large explosion.
Zero-1 Rider lands in the woods, before turning, looking up, and holds up his hands together, "Come to Rider."
But nothing happens, as Zero-1 Rider continues to look, "What? Where is…" Zero-1 Rider lowers his hands and turns around. "Where's the Data Key?" He looks around more, before falling to his knees and looks up. "Aw man, Lucy gonna be so mad."
Tye enters his hideout, approaching the computer screen, "More NG Bots had been destroyed."
"Regrettable," his partner says from the computer. "But not in vain, if the mission hadn't failed. Has it?"
Tye stares at the screen for a moment, before looking down at his hand, holding the Flying Falcon Data Key.
Back at Lucy's lab, Ray is watching as Lucy types at her computer, without looking away from hers screen.
"So, Albert is trying to find some way to contact Ulysses, thinking he could be an ally or something," Ray says, without a response from Lucy. "But I'm not too sure. What do you think?"
Lucy still doesn't respond, just types nonstop.
Ray exhales, when he notices a Data Key hooked up to the computer, "You completed a new Data Key?" He starts to reach for it. "I'll just give it to Albert."
Lucy finally stops typing, and places a hand on top of the Data Key, stopping him, "No, it's for Valkyrie Rider."
"Wow, that surprising," Ray grins. "Since you've been giving him the majority of the Data Keys."
Lucy turns and looks at her friend, "Must I remind you that due to the structure of the N2 satellite and its programming, it's easier to compose Data Keys designed for the Zero-1 Transbelt, then making from scratch a Data Key for either of our TransBlasters, especially with my limited resources."
"Okay, sorry," Ray backs off a little. "But are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine," Lucy looks down for a moment, before looking back up at him. "I just need some privacy to work."
"Sure, catch ya' later," Ray turns to leave.
Lucy watches as Ray leaves, before turning back to the computer, pressing a key, causing a window to pop up showing the paused CC camera footage of Tye, "This can't be real. It can't be him…"
Albert is walking down a street, with the R-Phone up to his ear, listening to the recording, "Please leave a message after the beep."
After hearing a beep, Albert starts, "Hey, Lucy, I want to say I'm still sorry about losing the Data Key and I will go back to look for it later, but I want to try and see if Ulysses is at the press conference. ...Sorry, again."
Albert hands up the R-Phone and pockets it, before sighing.
At the press conference, held at an amphitheater, Markus is standing behind a podium, next to Lila, while in front of a group of people, including reporters and NG Bot reporters.
"Now, I'll be taking any and all questions," Markus says, before pointing to Scoop.
"What, if any, safeguards are being put in place against more NG Bot corruption?" Scoop asks, as a nearby human reporter rolls his eyes.
"We are looking into writing code to block such corruption, but unfortunately it takes time," Markus answers, before pointing to the human reporter.
"What about just taking all NG Bots out there off the streets to keep people safe?" the reporter asks.
"That is a last resort I would prefer to avoid," Markus starts. "Despite everything that had happened in the past months, NG Bots are still our future."
"NG Bots are a part of the future."
The reporters turn to see Tye walking through the crowd, as Markus watches him.
"But humans are not," Tye says, before he holds up a Viral Encoder.
Tye then places the Viral Encoder on a NG Bot cameraman's waist, with him dropping the camera, before inserts a Virus Key into the Viral Encoder.
"Toad Key! Corruption!"
The cameraman surges with energy, with him flickering before his real NG Bot appearance is revealed, and then cables shoot out from the Viral Encoder and cover him. The cables start to retract, revealing green armor, with a large toad head, as the mouth opens and reveals a normal size head with red eyes.
"I am Toadbot. Ready to terminate."
People start to back up, terrified, with Toadboat raising his hands, as cables shoot out and turn NG Bots into Corrupbots, before the crowd breaks up and runs away. The human reporter bumps past Scoop, who backs up and turns to leave.
"Mr. Tan," Lila approaches Markus.
"Right, we need to go," Markus says, as he turns to leave with Lila behind him.
Albert starts to approach the amphitheater, as people are running away, screaming, and a couple Corrupbots are seen going after them.
"What? Aw man," Albert says, before he holds up a Data Key and runs ahead.
After a bright glow, Zero-1 Rider jump kicks a Corrupbot in the back, before he spin kicks another Corrupbot.
Toadbot turns to see Zero-1 Rider flipping a Corrupbot onto its back, "Someone trying to spoil our fun?" Toadbot then runs off, as Tye watches him.
"Yeah, fun," Tye says, before he approaches the podium, placing a hand on it.
"What are you doing?"
Tye looks ahead to see Lucy approaching him from the side.
Toadbot strikes at Zero-1 Rider, who, while still holding the Case Saber, grabs his arm and pulls him around, "What, Lucy?"
"Never thought you would see me again, huh, Lucy?" Tye asks.
Zero-1 Rider looks at Tye and Lucy, "You know him?"
"I did, from my days with Nexus Technologies," Lucy says.
Lucy backs away from a NG Bot's POV, "Okay, all systems seem stable. So perhaps now would be a good idea to give you a designation, or a name." She seats in a chair with a hand to her chin. "You're gonna be an assistance, so maybe Assist? Nah, that isn't right."
Lucy looks back to the NG Bot's POV, before leaning toward it, "You know what could be perfect. Giving you the same name as an old friend of mine, who inspired me on my current path." She stands up and approaches him. "Then it's settled. Your name is Tye."
Tye pulls back his hood, revealing his NG Bot earpieces.
Zero-1 Rider pulls his arm away from Toadbot, before back elbows him, pushing him away, then looks ahead, "He's a NG Bot?!"
Zero-1 Rider takes a couple steps forward, "How could you be a NG Bot, when you corrupt them?"
Tye looks over to the Rider, "Their corruption comes from being made servants to inferior humans. I am freeing them, and then, all NG Bots will become the true rulers of Earth."
"You can't actually mean that…" Lucy says.
Tye smiles, "Of course." He then tabs his belt buckle, designed with a "V", before the belt buckle shifts and expands into the Viral Transbelt.
"Another Transbelt?" Zero-1 Rider says.
"Not just another Transbelt," Tye holds up the Flying Falcon Data Key. "But an improvement on the original."
He then inserts the Data Key into the Viral Transbelt, "Accessing Flying Falcon!"
"This can't be happening…" Zero-1 Rider says.
"Tye…" Lucy adds.
Tye turns away from Lucy, "Access Code: Falco."
Tye pulls the lever on the side of the Transbelt, with the Data Key opening. The mechanical falcon flies out of the Viral Transbelt, before flipping over Tye and folds its wings over him, the falcon then explodes into energy, with a pink dust surrounding the transformed Rider, who has a pink undersuit with silver armor, before the dust dissipates.
"A NG Bot Rider?" Zero-1 Rider asks.
Falco Rider looks over to Lucy, "So, proud of me now?"
Lucy is speechless, as Falco Rider spreads his arms, with long, sharp wings spread out from his back.
Falco Rider then flies ahead, striking Zero-1 Rider with the wings, sending him flying.
Zero-1 Rider lands on a clearing, rolling away, with Falco Rider lands several feet away.
"Let see how you like it," Falco Rider flies ahead and kicks Zero-1 Rider.
Back at the amphitheater, Lucy looks down at her hand, at a new Data Key.
Falco Rider, having grabbed Zero-1 Rider with his legs, fly him through the air.
"Hey! Put me down!" Zero-1 Rider yells.
"If you insist," Falco Rider says, before coming to a stop in midair, flips and releases Zero-1 Rider, sending him flying into a wall.
Zero-1 Rider falls and rolls to a stop.
Falco Rider flies back to the ground, before strikes at Zero-1 Rider, who rolls out of the way. Falco Rider then runs up to him, kicks Zero-1 Rider. Falco Rider then punches Zero-1 Rider a couple times, with him failing to block and is forced back a step. Zero-1 Rider then kicks, but Falco Rider blocks it and then ducks under another attempt.
Falco Rider blocks a punch, catching it, "I'm faster and stronger than you." He punches him, with Zero-1 Rider forces to back up. "You can't win."
"I want some of that action," Toadbot is running up to behind Zero-1 Rider.
Zero-1 Rider turns to see him, "Oh boy."
Toadbot holds up the top of his toad-like head, with his eyes glowing, "Here, have a blast."
A blast goes off, with Zero-1 Rider knocked off his feet.
Zero-1 Rider rolls over to Falco Rider, who steps on his chest.
"You need to stop this… before it goes too… far," Zero-1 Rider says, reaching up to the Viral Transbelt.
Falco Rider swats away Zero-1 Rider's hand, and steps off his chest, "NG Bots are servants, so it's already too far." Falco Rider then grabs the Zero-1 Transbelt, as Zero-1 Rider's POV screen is flickering. "And you won't be needing this anymore."
"NG Bots aren't servants…" Zero-1 Rider says.
"Are you that naive?" Falco Rider asks.
"Perhaps."
Falco Rider turns to see Lucy several feet away, before stepping away from Zero-1 Rider, "Lucy…"
"Whether it's naive or not, I won't let you do whatever you want," Lucy says, before she holds up a Data Key.
She holds up her TransBlaster, inserting the Data Key into the back of the TransBlaster, "Accessing Rushing Cheetah."
Lucy stands sideways, aiming the TransBlaster one handed, before firing a cheetah-head projectile. She then stands straight and lowers her arms, as the projectile flies back to her, turns into energy and forms her Valkyrie Rider armor.
"This is long overdue," Valkyrie Rider says, before she speeds ahead.
Falco Rider dodges Valkyrie Rider's kick, then sidekicks her, which she avoids. Falco Rider punches her, before she backs away and spins to duck under Toadbot's arm swipe. Valkyrie Rider avoids another arm swipe, with Toadbot grabs her and forces her back.
Toadbot forces Valkyrie Rider onto a flight of stars and forces her into a roll, as three NG Bots cleaners are sweeping the bottom steps. Toadbot then jumps to the level she is at and tries a low leg sweep, which Valkyrie Rider hops over. Toadbot spins and catches Valkyrie Rider's arm.
"Mind giving a tadpole some help?" Toadbot looks over to the NG Bots, then holds out an arm, shooting out cables, which connects to the three and turns them into Corrupbots.
Valkyrie Rider rolls away from Toadbot, with the two Corrupbots firing their blasters, as the third Corrupbot runs up the stairs with its dagger.
Backing up, Valkyrie Rider catches the third Corrupbot's attacking arm, swings it around, kicks one leg, forcing it onto its knee, then blasting it in the back. She then jumps to the side, blasting the other two Corrupbots.
Valkyrie Rider then slides up to Toadbot, on one knee, and blasts him, before spinning around him and ducking under an arm swipe. At the same time, Zero-1 Rider is knocked onto the top step.
"Lucy, we should try to reach this Tye," Zero-1 Rider says, as Valkyrie Rider kicks Toadbot, before he returns to his feet. "If you programmed him, then there's a chance…"
Falco Rider runs over to Zero-1 Rider, grabbing him by the arm, "She might've programmed me, but she doesn't own me. No one does!"
Falco Rider knees Zero-1 Rider in the abdomen.
Valkyrie Rider runs under Toadbot's arm swipe, before grabbing his arm, "No. You heard him, he's too far gone." Valkyrie Rider forces Toadbot to the side, with him breaking hers hold, before she blocks a punch and then catches another. "There's just Falco Rider now."
Toadbot manages to punch Valkyrie Rider, forcing her off him, "Don't forget me."
Toadbot holds back his arms, as his frog head opens and small, frog-like projectiles shoot out, blasting around Valkyrie Rider.
Valkyrie Rider blasts a couple projectiles, dodges a couple more, before being forced back by even more projectiles and then blasted back into a roll.
Valkyrie Rider returns to her feet, "Trust me, I hadn't forgotten you."
She holds up her TransBlaster, pulls out the Data Key, places the TransBlaster back onto her belt, then holds up the new Data Key.
Valkyrie Rider inserts the Data Key into the back of the TransBlaster, "Accessing Lightning Hornet."
Valkyrie Rider fires the TransBlaster, shooting a lightning fast projectile, which flies around her multiple times, before flying into the TransBlaster. Then a blue glow surrounds her, before hers armors come off, changes into yellow and white armor, with hexagon patterns, and reconnects to her.
Toadbot continues to shoot frog projectiles at Valkyrie Rider, as large blue wings emerge from her back. She then flies up, as the projectiles explode in midair, and she starts to fly around, staying ahead of the projectiles.
"My turn," Valkyrie Rider holds out her arms, before small hornet-like projectiles fly out of the hexagon patterns on her armor. "Hornet Swarm!"
The hornet projectiles fly down, colliding with the frog projectiles, blowing them apart, before hitting Toadbot, knocking him back. Valkyrie Rider lands, as Toadbot returns to his feet.
"This is for the birds," Toadboat says, before turning and jumps. "So I'll go for a swim." Toadbot hops into a nearby lake.
Valkyrie Rider turns to him, "Scanner, tracking mode." She then spins around and holds out an arm. "Hornet Swarm!"
Hundreds of hornet projectiles fly out of the hexagon patterns, before coming together in a large hornet-like needle and stabs the lake, surging it with electricity before a large splash of water sends Toadbot flying.
"Toads and lightning don't mix!" Toadbot yells.
"Now, for the finishing touch," Valkyrie Rider tabs her TransBlaster, before pressing the trigger.
She holds a hand pass her helmet, then jumps up. Valkyrie Rider flies around the falling Toadbot, before getting into a kicking pose, with a large blue stinger appearing on her foot, "Rider Stinger Kick!"
Valkyrie Rider kicks Toadbot, forcing him to the ground, where he is consumed in a large explosion.
Valkyrie Rider's wings disappear, as she pulls back her leg and then looks up at her arm, "The reaction time is a little slow, but it's manageable."
Zero-1 Rider, lying on the ground, looks up, "Lucy…"
Falco Rider looks to the side, "Another NG Bot destroyed."
"Because of you," Valkyrie Rider runs ahead and throws a punch, which Falco Rider blocks. "You corrupted them!"
Falco Rider ducks under an arm swipe, as Vulcan Rider Power Kong runs up a flight of stairs and sees her blocks Falco Rider's kick, "Valkyrie Rider?"
Valkyrie Rider backs up to Vulcan Rider, "Better late than never."
"What's going on here?" Vulcan Rider asks.
"Long story," Valkyrie Rider looks over to her friend. "Right now, we need to take him out." She looks back ahead. "Let's do a combo attack.
"Right," Vulcan Rider returns his TransBlaster to his belt, and tabs it with his other fist, as Valkyrie Rider tabs hers, before they both pull the triggers.
As Valkyrie Rider gets into a fighting position, Vulcan Rider punches the ground, which wobbles as energy surges through it.
"What? What is this?" Falco Rider watches the ground.
Vulcan Rider runs ahead, as Valkyrie Rider jumps. Vulcan Rider's fist is glowing, as he runs toward Falco Rider and Valkyrie Rider flies to him.
"Not this time," Falco Rider spreads his arms.
Falco Rider flies back, as Vulcan Rider's punch and Valkyrie Rider's kick miss him.
Falco Rider flips in the air and then flies away, "I'll see you all very soon."
Zero-1 Rider returns to his feet, before turning to see Valkyrie Rider, who turns away from her friends.
"So, now gonna tell me what's going on?" Vulcan Rider asks, before he looks to Valkyrie Rider.
Valkyrie Rider remains silent, as she looks up.
Albert is seated on a park bench, looking at his R-Phone, which has Lucy's name and the words "Call Declined" under it.
Albert looks up to see Ray approaching him, "Ray, how's Lucy?"
"Lucy has been refusing to see me too," Ray says. "I wanted to be supportive, but I can't understand how she's feeling. I don't think anyone can."
Albert nods his head, before standing up, "I wish I know how to help." He turns to see the Nexus Technologies building in the distance. "But perhaps, undercover the truth about Nexus Technologies could be the key."
Lucy is sitting alone in her lab, looking at the Lightning Hornet Data Key in her hand.
Lucy presses a key, with the computer screen saying "Solid Light Holographic Field Activated."
A NG Bot flickers, before he appears as Tye, wearing a white shirt and black pants.
"Perfect, now, Tye, what's your function?" Lucy asks.
""My function is to aid humans and to better human society," Tye responds, before looking down slightly.
"Is something wrong, Tye?" Lucy asks.
Tye looks back up, "Earlier a pair of scientists were in here and they referred to each other as friends. Could friends be a function?"
Lucy smiles and shrugs her shoulders, "Yeah, it can, and it often is." Lucy gives a slight nod. "And you know what, I've decided, one of my functions is to be your friend."
Tye smiles.
Lucy leans back in her chair, "When did everything go so wrong?"
