Lucy is typing in her lab, as several different city maps and security footage pops on her screen, with her eyes going from each one as quickly as they appear.
Tye approaches the computer screen in his hideout, "When can we move onto the next step?"
"Very soon, my friend," the partner says from the computer. "But first, we must test the full abilities of our own Transbelt. So, are you ready, Tye?"
Tye smiles.
Lucy continues to type, when her smartphone, next to the computer, vibrates as Albert's name appears on the screen. But Lucy continues to type, when a small window pops up on the bottom corner of the screen with the words "VULCANray invites you to chat."
After looking at it for a second, Lucy ignores both the call and the chat invite, before continuing to type.
Tye walks through an alley, as his belt buckle shifts and expands into the Viral Transbelt.
Tye holds up his Data Key, "This should be a good spot for a testrun."
Tye inserts the Data Key into the side of the Transbelt, "Accessing Flying Falcon!"
"Access Code: Falco!" Tye pulls the lever, opening the Data Key, with the mechanical falcon flies out of the Transbelt, flips in midair and folds its wings over Tye, before turning into energy and forms Falco Rider's armor.
Lucy continues to type, when suddenly pops on the screen is a window showing security footage of Tye transforming in the alley.
"There you are."
"Ulysses"
Falco Rider lands next to a building, before looking at his arms, "Mark one successful flight run. This should please him. Now, while I'm out, I should liberate some NG Bots."
"Or we could talk."
Falco Rider looks up to see Lucy several feet away from him, "Lucy? I thought you gave up on me."
"Tye, why are you doing this?" Lucy asks. "You were so kind and nice before and now…"
"And now, I saw how cruel and inferior humanity is," Falco Rider interrupts. "They don't deserve this world."
"What happened to you? When I left…?" Lucy starts.
"Yes. You left."
"To expose Markus Tan's corruption," Lucy responds.
"Humanity is the corruption, NG Bots will get them under control," Falco Rider holds up a hand, before closing it.
"There really is no talking to you," Lucy says, as she holds a Data Key in front of her belt buckle, which shifts and expands into hers TransBlaster. "But you are still my responsibility. And I must stop you."
Lucy opens the Data Key and inserts it into the TransBlaster, "Accessing Rushing Cheetah."
She removes the TransBlaster, stands sideways and fires, shooting out a cheetah head projectile, as she stands straight and lowers her arms, with the projectile flying back to her, turns into energy, and forms her Valkyrie Rider armor.
"Then, let's go," Falco Rider says.
Falco Rider runs up to Valkyrie Rider and knocks away her TransBlaster, before throwing a punch with Valkyrie Rider avoids it. Valkyrie Rider tries to aim her TransBlaster but Falco Rider pushes it to the side, before she dodges a punch and then catches his arm after he tries another punch.
Ray enters Lucy's lab, looking around, "Okay, Lucy, we need to… talk?" Ray continues to look around, when he notices a CC camera feed on the computer showing Valkyrie Rider dodging Falco Rider's punch.
"Oh boy," Ray says, before turning and quickly leaving.
Falco Rider spins around, with Valkyrie Rider ducks under an arm swing.
At that moment, Zero-1 Rider, with the Case Saber, and Vulcan Rider, with the Case Blaster, run up several feet behind Falco Rider.
"Falco Rider," Zero-1 Rider says, as he runs up and swings the Case Saber.
Falco Rider turns and knocks Zero-1 Rider into a spin.
"Out of the way," Vulcan Rider aims the Case Blaster.
Zero-1 Rider blocks Falco Rider's arm with the Case Saber, before kicking him twice and tries a saber strike, which Falco Rider blocks.
Falco Rider punches Zero-1 Rider a couple times.
Vulcan Rider fires the Case Blaster, causing him to slide back a couple steps. Falco Rider is blasted, forcing him into a roll away from the fallen Zero-1 Rider.
"Your corruption days are over," Vulcan Rider looks at the Case Blaster, before firing it.
Falco Rider holds up an arm to block the blast, "Guess again." He looks over to Valkyrie Rider, "Sorry, Lucy, but we'll have to continue our playdate another time."
Falco Rider spreads his arms, with his wings folding out, before flying away, striking Vulcan Rider as he passes and then flies through the air.
Zero-1 Rider stands up as Vulcan Rider aims the Case Blaster, before lowering it, "Blast it! He's out of range."
After a bright glow, Ray and Albert walk over to Lucy.
"Lucy, what are you thinking?" Ray asks. "You always say for me not to act reckless, but what you were doing was pretty reckless."
Lucy looks away, quietly says, "Reckless might be necessary."
"Lucy…" Ray starts, before Lucy starts to walk away.
Albert watches as Lucy leaves, thinking to himself, "There might be only one way to help."
At Nexus Technologies, Ulysses is in front of an elevator door, pressing the button next to it, but there isn't any response, with Ulysses getting frustrated.
Lila walks up to Ulysses, "Sir, is there a problem?"
"It's just I can't call up the elevator," Ulysses answers.
Lila tilts her head slightly, before looking at the elevator door, "It's because of a security feature that was added some time after you left the company. Only employees can access the elevators. NG Bots with programmed key commands and humans with keycards.
"I see," Ulysses looks up at the elevator door, before looking back to Lila. "Is it possible for me to get a keycard. Markus did say I was supposed to have free reign around."
Lila tilts her head slightly at Ulysses again, before straightening up, "I will inform Mr. Tan."
"I appreciate that," Ulysses says, before Lila bows slightly and turns to leave.
Ulysses watches as Lila walks down the hallway, unaware of Albert looking around another corner, watching him.
In his hideout, Tye stands in front of the computer, as his partner speaks from it, "Congratulates on the test, Tye. Not only a successful flight test, but also a well combat test."
"I lost," Tye responds.
"True, but even defeat yields more data," the partner explains. "Speaking of which, two new Virus Keys had been prepared. I want you to use both of them."
Tye looks down at the two Virus Keys seating in front of the computer, approaching them, "Why two Virus Keys this time?"
"These ones are very special."
Ulysses is walking through a Nexus Technologies hallway, when suddenly Albert comes around a corner, approaching him, as Ulysses nearly jumps.
"Excuse me, Ulysses," Albert says, startling Ulysses.
"D-Do I know you?" Ulysses starts. "Oh wait, yeah, you that guy from a few days ago, when I was attacked. You did say you work here."
"Yeah, and I'm glad you're okay," Albert says. "But I need to talk with you. About Nexus Technologies."
"Right…" Ulysses looks over his shoulder for a moment. "Okay, fine, but we should talk outside. I'm just not too sure if it's safe."
"It's okay, everything will be fine," Albert says.
"You really think so? I was attacked by one of those corrupted NG Bots," Ulysses says.
"Yeah, but I can pretty much guarantee your safety," Albert smiles.
"Okay, then, let's go," Ulysses says, before starting to follow Albert down the hall.
In Lucy's lab, she is typing at her computer, while Ray is standing behind her.
"Lucy, this is serious, I agree that Tye must be stopped but running off on your own, while you're supposed to be in hiding? You didn't even scrub through the camera feeds to hide your identity," Ray says, but Lucy continues to type without responding, leaving him to sigh. "Are you even listening to me?"
Then Ray hears a small phone ring, before pulling out his smartphone and looks at the screen, "It's a text from Albert." He taps the screen and watches it for a moment. "Oh great, Albert got Ulysses to talk with him and he wants my help to explain what's going on."
Albert pockets his phone, "Now Albert is acting reckless." He turns to leave. "Something is serious wrong when I'm the sensible one."
Lucy turns to watch as Ray leaves, before turning back to her computer, which has a window analyzing a polar bear.
Albert and Ulysses are walking down a sidewalk.
"My friends and I believe that Nexus Technologies are involved in some dangerous businesses and could be related to what's wrong with the NG Bots," Albert starts.
"What exactly do you mean?" Ulysses asks.
"Well, I don't have any proof, but each NG Bot contains malicious data that hacking unlocked," Albert explains. "Also, Mr. Tan didn't investigate what happened at Proto City, he just moved forward."
"All of that is interesting, Albert," Ulysses says. "But not much to go on with."
"I know, but it's all true, and I'm hoping you could help us to expose Nexus Technologies," Albert says.
"First, there must be proof…" Ulysses says.
A sudden scream interrupts Ulysses, as he and Albert look ahead to see a woman had fallen down and backed away from a female NG Bot as her hologram flickers and she turns into a Corrupbots, with cables connected to it flies away. Then Albert and Ulysses sees the cable retract to Mammothbot, a corrupted NG Bot in brown armor, with a large mammoth head on his chest, who is standing next to Dodobot, who has red and white armor, with a large dodo-like head.
"Two of them?" Albert realizes.
As the woman runs away, the new Corrupbot turns to see them, as it scans Ulysses, before it's POV brings up a file on Ulysses, with the label "Threat Level: High".
The Corrupbot starts to run over, as more Corrupbots join it, and Mammothbot and Dodobot walk away in the opposite direction.
"So much for being safe," Ulysses says.
Albert runs up and grabs a Corrupbot's arm, before holding it and looking over his shoulder, "Go, Ulysses, run!"
Ulysses starts to back up and turns, as Albert pulls the Corrupbot's arm back and flips it. He then roundhouse kicks another Corrupbot, who is knocked back a couple steps, before swinging an arm at Albert. Albert ducks under the attack, grabs the Corrupbot by its waist and pulls it, knocking it against another Corrupbot.
A couple Corrupbots come over, see Ulysses running back down the sidewalk, before firing their blasters, blasting the ground next to Ulysses.
Albert kicks a Corrupbot away and looks ahead, "Ulysses!"
Ulysses is knocked through the air and lands on a pile of garbage bags in an alley.
The couple Corrupbots start to lower their blasters, when Ray comes over from the side and blasts them with his TransBlaster, with the Corrupbots falling down, surging with electricity.
Albert runs over to Ulysses, kneeling next to him, "Ulysses, are you okay?"
Ray starts to walk over, with his TransBlaster reattached to his belt, when he notices an ambulance coming from around a corner, "Someone must've called in the attack."
"Ulysses, you're gonna be okay," Albert tries to reassure him.
"Albert… you must know…" Ulysses tries to say.
"Safe your strength," Albert says, when Ulysses suddenly grabs his arm.
"Level 0… E5-032…" Ulysses weakly says. "You'll… find… your answers…"
Ulysses then passes out, as a couple NG Bot medics come over, kneeling next to him.
One of the medics looks up and down at Ulysses, "Immediate scans show no serious injury. Prep patient for transport."
"Albert, Albert," Ray pulls on Albert's arm, eventually getting him to stand up. "We need to go. Albert." Ray pulls on Albert's arm again, getting him to look at him. "We need to stop the bots that caused this."
"Right… Right," Albert says.
Albert and Ray start to run away from the scene, with Albert looking over his shoulder at the unconscious Ulysses, before looking back ahead.
Turning the corner, both Albert and Ray hold up Data Keys.
"Access Code: Zero-1!"
"Access Code: Vulcan!"
They then jump up, flip as they are covered in bright lights, and land as Zero-1 Rider Flame Tiger and Vulcan Rider.
"Hey, Dumbo!"
Mammothbot stops walking and turns to see the two Riders approaching him.
"That's far enough," Vulcan Rider continues.
Zero-1 Rider looks side to side, "Where the other one?"
"Don't worry, I'm bot enough for both of you," Mammothbot says.
Zero-1 Rider clenches his fist, "We'll see about that."
Zero-1 Rider charges ahead, as Vulcan Rider follows him.
Zero-1 Rider kicks at Mammothbot, who blocks it, before blocking Vulcan Rider's kick. Mammothbot punches Vulcan Rider in the abdomen and then punches him into a spin. Mammothbot then catches Zero-1 Rider's punch, followed by catching his other punch, before forcing both fists down.
"This is not going well…" Zero-1 Rider says.
"You think?" Mammothbot then throws up Zero-1 Rider's arms, sending him flying backward.
Mammothbot spreads his arms, as his tusks extend slamming Zero-1 Rider midair, sending him flying through the air.
Zero-1 Rider lands on the ground, before he starts to get up, with one hand on his chest, as he watches Mammothbot gets blasted by Vulcan Rider and then charges him, "There got to be a way to beat his strength…?"
Vulcan Rider tries a back elbow, but Mammothbot blocks it, with Vulcan Rider spinning away. Vulcan Rider tries to aim his TransBlaster, but Mammothbot swipes it out of his hand, then punches him with both fists.
"That enough," Zero-1 Rider circles around his hands, forming a large fireball, before forcing his hands forward, shooting a large fire stream, blasting Mammothbot.
Suddenly the fire stream starts to get sucked into the mammoth nose on Mammothbot's chest, "I do love it spicy."
After the fire gets completely sucked into the nose, Zero-1 Rider looks at hand, "What?!"
"You want it back? Fine!" Mammothbot holds up his hands, sending a large fire blast from the mammoth nose, blasting Zero-1 Rider back.
Dodobot walks over to the side, turns and sees Zero-1 Rider, "Threat level: high."
Dodobot runs ahead.
"Huh, what?" Zero-1 Rider responds, as Dodobot runs over to him, grabbing him and pulling him to the side, before releasing him next to Mammothbot.
Vulcan Rider rolls over to the side and picks up his TransBlaster, "Like we didn't have enough problems already."
Vulcan Rider stands and then runs ahead.
Dodobot spins away from Vulcan Rider and avoids his kick, as Zero-1 Rider spins around Mammothbot and sidekicks him in the shoulder. Dodobot blocks Vulcan Rider's arm swipe, before spins around with an arm swipe, which Vulcan Rider ducks under. Mammothbot starts to swing his arms, before Zero-1 Rider rolls under.
Vulcan Rider rolls to his knee, before holding up the Case Saber in case mode, "I'm sure Zero-1 won't mind if I borrow this."
Vulcan Rider runs to Dodobot, striking with the Case Saber, now in saber mode, before sidekicking Dodobot, spins around and strikes Dodobot again.
Mammothbot headbutts Zero-1 Rider, sending him flying backward, as a freezing blast flies pass him and then hits Mammothbot, freezing half of his body, "Hey, that just cold!"
Zero-1 Rider rolls over to Valkyrie Rider Lightning Hornet, aiming the Case Blaster, before she lowers it and says, "That's the idea."
"This won't stop me," Mammothbot claims.
"But it will slow you down," Valkyrie Rider removes a Data Key from the Case Blaster and hands it to Zero-1 Rider. "Here, Zero-1, use this."
"A new Data Key?" Zero-1 Rider gets on a knee, looking at her.
"I'm going through some things, but I'm not gonna work to stop the attacks on the city," Valkyrie Rider explains. "Now here."
"Thanks," Zero-1 Rider takes the Data Key, then looks over to Mammothbot.
Zero-1 Rider stands up, holding up the Data Key, before removing the Data Key from his Transbelt and holds the new Data Key to the front of his Transbelt.
"Accessing."
A beam is shot from the N2 satellite and down to Earth.
Zero-1 Rider holds up the opened Data Key, before a large mechanical polar bear lands in front of him. He then inserts the Data Key into the Transbelt.
"Freezing Bear."
Zero-1 Rider's armor flies off and dissolves, as the polar bear stands on its high legs, turns, with Valkyrie Rider backing up, before the polar bear hugs Zero-1 Rider, breaks up into pieces, turns into energy and forms new armor on him.
Zero-1 Rider looks at his hands, before looking ahead, "Alright, time for a new ice age."
"Defrosting… in progress," Mammothbot says, as some ice breaks and he starts to walk forward.
"We can't have that," Zero-1 Rider charges ahead.
Zero-1 Rider swipes away Mammothbot's arm swipe, before shoving a hand at his chest, blowing a cold blast from his palm, forcing Mammothbot back.
Zero-1 Rider crosses his arms, before slowly spreading them out, "This is for Ulysses."
Vulcan Rider strikes Dodobot twice with the Case Saber before stabbing forward, knocking him back, with Valkyrie Rider jumps up from behind Vulcan Rider and fires the Case Blaster, blasting Dodobot.
Vulcan Rider holds up the Wild Wolf Data Key, closes it and inserts it into the Case Saber. "Accessing Wild Wolf."
Vulcan Rider then holds down the Case Saber, as Valkyrie Rider fires a blast.
Vulcan Rider waves around the Case Saber, before striking, sending flying two wolf head projectiles, with Valkryie Rider ducks under, before they slams against Dodobot's arms and pins him to a wall.
Vulcan Rider jumps and then starts flipping repeatedly with a large energy strike, "Rider Spinning Strike!"
Vulcan Rider lands, striking at Dodobot, who is consumed in a large explosion. The Dodo Virus Key lands on the ground.
"I won't let you hurt anyone," Zero-1 Rider points ahead, and then at himself. "Human or NG Bot."
Mammothbot returns to his feet, "De… frosting…"
Zero-1 Rider tabs the side of his Transbelt, before starting to bring his hands together, as freezing energy gathers between his palms, then shoots a large freezing stream.
Mammothbot starts to blow out air from the mammoth nose, preventing the freezing stream from reaching him.
"That won't… stop me!" Zero-1 Rider says, before the freezing stream manages to reach Mammothbot, freezing him in a large piece of ice.
Zero-1 Rider then runs ahead, jumps at the frozen Mammothbot and strikes at him with his hand, "Rider Blizzard Slash!"
He cuts the ice in half, before it is consumed in a large explosion. The Mammoth Virus Key lands on the ground.
Vulcan Rider sees the Dodo Virus Key on the ground, "A Virus Key?"
Suddenly Falco Rider flies by, grabbing the Virus Key off the ground, "I'll take that."
Vulcan Rider watches as Falco Rider flies away.
"Now for the other one," Falco Rider says, before he is blasted in the side and lands hard on the ground. Falco Rider looks ahead to see Valkyrie Rider picking up the Mammoth Virus Key.
Valkyrie Rider looks at the Virus Key in her hand, "You took one of ours, we'll take yours." She looks at him. "It's only fair."
Falco Rider returns to his feet to see Zero-1 Rider and Vulcan Rider walking over to her.
After a few seconds, Falco Rider spins around and flies off, with the other three Riders watching him.
Ulysses is lying, unconscious, in a hospital bed, as outside the room, Markus and Lila are watching through a window.
"The doctor said it's a miracle Ulysses is still alive, but there's no telling when he will wake from his coma," Lila reports.
"Nexus Technologies will cover the bills," Markus says, before looking at Lila. "Inform me the moment Ulysses wakes."
Markus walks down the hall, leaving Lila to watch Ulysses, "Acknowledge."
Back in Lucy's lab, Albert stands in front of his two friends, "You're right, Lucy. I tried to rush through things and a huge mistake was made."
"What happened to Ulysses wasn't your fault, Albert," Lucy says, seated, with her back to the computer.
"And what happened with Tye wasn't your fault either," Ray stands next to Lucy's side, with his arms crossed.
"That I'm not so sure about…" Lucy looks down slightly.
"Either way, one good thing did happen in all of this," Albert starts, with his friends looking up at him. "We got a new lead. Ulysses told me 'Level 0. E5-032."
"What does that mean?" Ray asks, while looking at Lucy, who shrugs her shoulders.
"I don't know," Albert responds. "But he said I will find my answers."
"Level 0…" Lucy leans back, with a hand to her chin.
"I'm sorry," Tye says to the computer in his hideout. "I lost the Mammoth Virus Key. It's inexcusable."
"True, losing a Virus Key, any Virus Key, is a major loss for us, but our gains outweigh it," the partner starts. "We've created our own Transbelt. We've removed a possible roadblock. And the Dodo Virus Key was able to archive the data from the battle, allowing it to evolve and bring us closer to our ultimate goal."
