At Lucy's lab, Lucy is seated, with Ray next to her, as Albert steps out in front of them.
"Okay," Albert starts. "This is what I'm thinking…"
Albert stands in front of the Nexus Technologies building, looking it over.
"I have looked over the blueprints for the Nexus Technologies headquarters when I first searched for an underground area. And I've discovered it has ten different elevators, not all of which reaches all the floors."
Albert walks down a hall inside, noticing an elevator to his right before seeing another further down the hall.
"As a programmer, I only have access to two elevators, both which reach the ground floor's lobby and the floor where my workstation is. No higher."
Ray crosses his arms, "Then we're gonna have to hack the correct elevators."
"That might not be necessary," Lucy says, as Ray looks over to her. "Despites what Albert had overheard, as far as I can tell, the keycard that Markus dropped was never deactivated. Though, we still need to find the right elevators."
"Actually, I had already figured out the only elevator that could lead to Level 0," Albert tells them.
A person, wearing a ballcap, is walking through the Nexus Technologies lobby.
"There's only one elevator that leads all the way to the top, where Markus' office is, and to the ground floor. An elevator at the far back corner of the building's left side…"
The person is approaching the elevator at the far left side of the lobby. The elevator's doors open as the person enters.
"And today I'm gonna access that elevator, and find Level 0."
The person turns around and Lucy raises her head, as the doors close.
"Level 0"
Two Hours Earlier...
"Your plan is risky," Lucy gets up from her chair, approaching Albert. "You could easily be spotted."
"It's okay, the elevator is at an isolated spot on my floor," Albert explains.
"You already got caught once being somewhere you don't belong," Ray reminds his friend.
"Yeah, and it was your fault I got caught," Albert says, with Ray looking away, uncomfortable.
"It's still too big of a risk to take, Albert," Lucy says.
"Well, does anyone have another option?" Albert asks.
Lucy and Ray look over to each other.
"Then my plan's gonna have to do," Albert says, before turning away to leave.
Lucy sighs, "If only I could hack directly into Nexus Technologies, but with its closed system and firewall blocking me…"
"Hey, if that was possible, then we would've been done a long time ago," Ray looks over to Lucy, who looks back to him.
"That doesn't make me feel better, Ray," Lucy says, before she walks back to her computer.
Ray watches her and slightly shakes his head.
In his hideout, Tye enters the room to find Stinger Rider typing at the computer.
"Stinger Rider?" Tye asks, slowly approaching him. "You rarely come here?"
"There's some fine tuning I must do in person," Stinger Rider says, before he turns to see a NG Bot, without a holographic field and wearing a Viral Transbelt, entering the room. "Ah, perfect timing."
"Are you creating another Dodobot?" Tye asks, as the NG Bot walks past him.
"Not quite another," Stinger Rider holds up the Dodo Virus Key and inserts it into the NG Bot's Viral Transbelt.
"Dodo Key! Corruption!"
The NG Bot surges with energy, then cables shoot out from the Viral Encoder and cover him. The cables start to retract, revealing Dodobot, but more armored, including missiles hanging from under his shoulderpads.
"I am Dodobot. Ready to terminate."
"He's… different," Tye says.
"He should be, this is Dodobot 2.0," Stinger Rider says. "A Virus Key that learns and evolves with each use, becoming stronger as it goes."
"I see…" Tye looks at Dodobot, before looking over to Stinger Rider. "What's our next move, then?"
"Here," Stinger Rider hands Tye a Virus Key with the image of a rhino on it. "Liberate more NG Bots, as I give Dodobot a test run."
Tye watches as Stinger Rider and Dodobot leave the room, before looking back at the Virus Key in his hand, "I think I know the perfect place to do it."
Stinger Rider takes a couple steps forward on a street, "Go on, my friend. Cause some mayhem."
"Affirmative," Dodobot walks past Stinger Rider, carrying his two swords.
Dodobot runs up, before striking his sword at a slow moving car, with the car coming to a stop. The car's driver screams, as Dodobot turns and fires shoulder missiles, which blast around the area.
Stinger Rider crosses his arms, "This should lure out some… test subjects."
Albert arrives outside Nexus Technologies, looking up at the building and takes in a deep breath, whispering, "Here goes nothing."
As Albert takes a step, his R-Phone vibrates with him answering, "Lucy?"
"Albert, Dodobot is in the city," Lucy responds from the R-Phone. "Ray's already on his way, but he might need help."
"Okay, I'm on my way," Albert turns away and runs off.
People are running away, as Dodobot slowly approaches them, with his swords at the side.
Suddenly, Dodobot is blasted in the shoulder, as he turns to see Vulcan Rider aiming the Case Blaster, "Vulcan Rider."
"New look, same result," Vulcan Rider says, before firing the Case Blaster.
Dodobot charges, as he is blasted, with both swords. Upon reaching Vulcan Rider, Dodobot uses one sword to knock aside the Case Blaster, then swings both swords with Vulcan Rider avoiding them. Vulcan Rider then catches an attempted downward strike with the swords, but Dodobot pushes his arms away, before Vulcan Rider fires the Case Blaster at Dodobot's chest.
Dodobot is forced back a step, before tilting his head, "Was that supposed to damage me? Like this?"
Dodobot holds up his swords and fires lasers from his chest, blasting Vulcan Rider, forcing him into a roll, far away.
On one knee, Vulcan Rider holds up a Data Key and presses it button, "Let's try some muscle."
He inserts the Data Key into the Case Blaster, "Accessing Power Kong."
Vulcan Rider pumps the Case Blaster, stands up and fires a large fist, "Rider Fist Blast!"
Dodobot crosses his swords, blocking the flying fist, before blowing the fist apart by uncrossing his sword, as Vulcan Rider is knocked onto his back.
"Beginning counter attack," Dodobot charges ahead.
Vulcan Rider gets onto a knee, before rolling out of the way of Dodobot's sword strikes, "A counter attack, right."
Vulcan Rider returns to his feet, with Dodobot swinging his swords, knocking the Case Blaster out of his hands. Vulcan Rider ducks under another sword strike, spinning around Dodobot, before he strikes Vulcan Rider twice.
Vulcan Rider then charges at Dodobot, grabbing him by the waist. Dodobot, without letting go of his swords, grabs onto Vulcan Rider, spins him around, knees him and lets go. Vulcan Rider stumbles back, before Dodobot strikes Vulcan Rider with both swords.
Lila is walking through the Nexus Technologies lobby, when she notices someone with a ballcap walking to the elevator at the far left corner. Lila tilts her head slightly.
Upon entering the elevator, with the doors closed, Lucy holds up the keycard and inserts it into the bottom of the button controls.
Lucy takes in a deep breath, "Hopefully Albert didn't realize I took this before he left."
With the keycard still inserted, Lucy presses the "0" button at the bottom of the controls, with a LCD screen now says "Level 0" then says "Access Granted". The elevator shakes slightly, before it starts to descend.
"No turning back," Lucy says to herself.
Stinger Rider watches as Vulcan Rider uses the Case Blaster to block Dodobot's swords, before he turns his head to the sound of footsteps.
Zero-1 Rider, holding the Case Saber in case mode, runs toward the fight, when suddenly Stinger Rider steps out in front of him.
"Zero-1, if you don't mind, I would like to see how my old punching bag handles against Dodobot," Stinger Rider says.
"Stinger Rider!" Zero-1 Rider opens Case Saber into saber mode and charges.
Stinger Rider backs up, as Zero-1 Rider charges at him and swings the Case Saber, missing him.
"You seemed angry," Stinger Rider holds up the Case Bow, blocking another Case Saber strike, before pushing away the weapon.
"You hurt Vulcan, you turned NG Bots against people," Zero-1 Rider spins around and strikes again, only for it to be blocked by the Case Bow, with Stinger Rider backs away and Zero-1 Rider charges. "Of course I'm angry."
Zero-1 Rider spins around and strikes, but Stinger Rider dodges past him. Stinger Rider then walks away, as Zero-1 Rider strikes at him, with Stinger Rider effortlessly dodging it.
"Fight me," Zero-1 Rider swings the Case Saber.
Stinger Rider catches the weapon, "Considering what I did to your friend. Do you really want to fight me?"
Stinger Rider then pulls the Case Saber out of Zero-1 Rider's hand, pushes him with the Case Bow and then strikes him with the Case Saber.
Elevator doors open, as Lucy steps out into a large chamber, with computer units against the left and right walls, and a large door on the opposite side of the room.
"This is Level 0?" Lucy looks around, before noticing the large door, and the control panel next to it. She approaches the door and holds her hand in front of the panel. "This might be the stupidest thing I have ever done."
Lucy presses the button on the panel, with the large doors swing open.
Walking through the door, Lucy finds a large, cylinder tank filled with a green liquid, with cables leading to another computer unit on the other side of the room.
Lucy approaches the tank, taking a closer look, "Is that…" Inside the tank is a figure, wearing mostly black armor with a helmet resembling Zero-1 Rider's. "A Rider?"
Vulcan Rider rolls across the ground.
"Missile Strike," Dodobot holds his swords to the side, as he fires his shoulder missiles, which float in front of him, before he strikes at the missiles, launching them forward.
Vulcan Rider returns to his feet, aiming his TransBlaster, when the missiles hit around him, creating explosions around him. Vulcan Rider is thrown through the air, as more missiles hit him in midair and his body glows brightly.
Ray falls onto the ground and looks up at Dodobot.
Dodobot stares at Ray for a moment, "Field test complete. Return to base."
Dodobot turns and walks away, as Ray tries to get up.
"Upgrade commencing…" Dodobot continues to walk. "Evolution commencing…"
In Level 0's larger chamber, Lucy is typing away at one of the computer units, with readouts on the Rider appearing on the screen.
"So, this is… Proto Rider…" Lucy watches as the data appears on screen, including readouts on the Zero-1 Transbelt and Zero-1 Rider. "And he's the source of the Rider and Transbelt tech…" She quickly pulls out a flash drive and connects it to the computer. "Too much, I better download what I can."
In the smaller room, across from the tank, the computer screen gives a small red glow, as the words "Energy Levels" appear as several color bars and raise and lower above the words.
Lucy continues to type in the large chamber, when security camera footage appears on another computer showing Rhinobot, a NG Bot in mostly blue armor, with a pair of long horns on his head in a v-shape, breaking into the lobby, with people and NG Bots backing in fright.
"A corrupt NG Bot… here?" Lucy sees the security feed, before quickly grabbing the flash drive.
Stinger Rider turns and aims the Case Bow, pulling the bowstring, with energy gathers on the weapon, as Zero-1 Rider gets up from a knee.
"Rider Arrow Blast!" Stinger Rider fires an energy arrow, blasting Zero-1 Rider.
Zero-1 Rider, surging with electricity, is thrown back and rolls across the ground.
Zero-1 Rider gets onto a knee and reaches behind him, "I won't let you win."
Zero-1 Rider holds up a Data Key, pressing the button, before holding it in front of his Transbelt, "Accessing."
The back of the N2 satellite separates, before it turns around and turns into Mecha Ship mode, then starting to glow, turns into energy, flies into the remaining piece of the satellite and then is beamed down to Earth.
Zero-1 Rider stands up, as the Mecha Ship appears above him, before opening up the Data Key. The Mecha Ship then flies ahead, blasting the ground around Stinger Rider, before flying back to Zero-1 Rider, who had inserted the Data Key.
"Mammoth Mecha."
Zero-1 Rider beams into the Mecha Ship, which then turns into Mammoth Mecha and lands on the ground. Mammoth Mecha then jumps straight up.
"I won't let you hurt anyone," Zero-1 Rider says, inside the Mammoth Mecha, before tabbing the side of his Transbelt.
Mammoth Mecha, high in the air, launches the Data Key on its left arm, which then grows larger. Mammoth Mecha comes down, kicks the giant Data Key down toward Stinger Rider, "Rider Mammoth Kick!"
Stinger Rider holds up the Case Bow to block the massive kick, as purple electricity surges around the attack, then suddenly, Mammoth Mecha kicks Stinger Rider across the ground and up against a flight of stairs, with a large explosion going off.
Mammoth Mecha jumps back and lands.
"I got him…" Zero-1 Rider says.
As the smoke clears, Stinger Rider is shown standing, with the large mechanical scorpion having shield him with its claws and tail.
"You will never beat me," Stinger Rider says.
"Stinger Rider…" Zero-1 Rider says.
Stinger Rider walks forward, as the scorpion turns into energy and disappears, "After all, I'm already several steps ahead of you. In another word…" Stinger Rider turns around, whipping around the stinger from his left arm, bringing up a dust cloud, with Mammoth Mecha holding up its arms in response. "I've already won."
Stinger Rider then walks away, to the side.
Zero-1 Rider then runs ahead. He looks at the spot where Stinger Rider shielded himself, leaving beneath a badly damaged ground and flight of stairs. "He couldn't… have already won…"
In the Nexus Technologies lobby, Rhinobot grabs a receptionist desk and flips it to the side, as a NG Bot pulls a person out of the way of the desk.
"Heroic, but misguided," Rhinobot says, as he approaches the NG Bot and the person he saved. "Here, I'll free you from this control."
Suddenly, the far left elevator's doors open, with Valkyrie Rider Lightning Hornet flying out of it, "And who'll free him from you."
Valkyrie Rider, in mid flight, fires her TransBlaster, blasting Rhinobot, who turns to face her, before she then kicks him, knocking Rhinobot out of the lobby. Valkyrie Rider lands and then hurries out.
At the same time, Lila walks over to the center of the lobby, watching the leaving Rider.
Rhinobot charges ahead, with his head lowered.
Valkyrie Rider rolls to the side, dodging the charge, "Whoa, rinoceronte."
Valkyrie Rider stands up, but before she could attack, Rhinobot charges at her and then carries her ahead on his shoulder. Upon reaching a building, Valkyrie Rider kicks off of it, throwing herself off Rhinobot's shoulder, allowing her to roll away from him.
Valkyrie Rider spins around and then jumps up into the sky, as Rhinobot charges in her direction. Valkyrie Rider starts flying, as Rhinobot stops and looks up at her.
"Hornet Swarm!" Valkyrie Rider flies over Rhinobot, shooting hornet drones down at Rhinobot, blasting around him.
Valkyrie Rider lands on the ground, "Hopefully that'll slow him down." She then tabs the top of her TransBlaster, before jumping back up. "Now to stop him for good."
Flying above Rhinobot, Valkyrie Rider fires her TransBlaster down at Rhinobot, blasting him repeatedly. She then aims her TransBlaster, as energy gathers on it, before firing a blast shaped like a giant hornet, "Rider Hornet Blast!"
Rhinobot is consumed in a massive explosion.
The Rhino Virus Key lands on the ground, before getting picked up by Lila, who then backs up and turns away, as Valkyrie Rider lands several feet ahead.
Valkyrie Rider turns and looks around, "Odd… no Virus Key. Tye must've flown by and grabbed it."
In Lucy's lab, Ray walks past Albert and approaches Lucy, seated at her computer.
"I don't believe you infiltrated Level 0 on your own," Ray starts. "What's the point of you hiding from Nexus Technologies for so long if you are just gonna walk up to their front door?"
"Ray's right, if you get caught…" Albert starts.
"You're right, you both are right," Lucy interrupts, surprising Albert and Ray. "But with everything going on, we don't have a moment to waste."
"Okay, then what you got?" Ray asks.
Lucy holds up a flash drive, "You won't believe what I found, I haven't even figured out what it could mean."
At his hideout, Tye is standing in front of the computer.
"What were you thinking?! Attacking Nexus Technologies?!" Tye's partner says.
"It was the perfect spot for our next attack," Tye says. "We could liberate all of their NG Bots at once."
"It's too soon for such an attack, Tye," the partner says. "And it could risk undoing everything we had worked toward."
At Nexus Technologies, Markus and Lila are walking down a hallway.
"After the attack in the garage and at the press conference, security should've been increased," Markus says.
"It has," Lila responds.
"Then how do you explain what happened? And Valkyrie Rider," Markus continues. "How did she get in, undetected?"
"Perhaps…" Lila says, before stopping to a sudden stop, with her earpieces giving slight blue glows.
Markus turns and faces her, "Now what?"
Lila turns to him, "The energy levels in Level 0 had been increased to dangerous levels."
In Level 0's secret chamber, emergency lights are going off, with steam shooting out of the bottom of the tube.
Suddenly, Proto Rider's hand is placed against the tube's glass.
