The unmorphed Knight Rangers, Kent, Jackie, Mackey, Buffy, Henry, and Arno are approaching a school bus.
"This is gonna be an incredible field trip," Mackey says. "I have always wanted to check out Neutron City."
Falco Rider stands next to the NG Bot tour guide, Info, as he surges with energy, with him flickering before his real NG Bot appearance is revealed, and then cables shoot out from the Viral Encoder and cover him. The cables start to retract, revealing Lizbot.
"I am Lizbot. Ready to terminate."
Lizbot jumps at Red Knight Ranger and Zero-1 Rider, as they strike at him, as he passes.
"Rider Strike!"
"Tyranno Slash!"
Lizbot falls past the two, before he is consumed in a large explosion.
Lucy turns away from her computer to face Albert and Ray, "After studying the energy readings that were given off by Proto Rider, Nexus Technologies' secret prisoner and the apparent source of the Rider tech, I realized that the same energy levels were used for the Prototype Core."
Lucy turns back to her computer, "Which must be why it was so volatile."
Mechanoid, a monster with a mostly white robotic body, with a pair of shoulder cannons and claws on each arm, is attaching the Prototype Core, an orb-like device in a harness, onto his chest, when he hears something and turns to see Stinger Rider and Falco Rider approaching him.
"You see, I require a power source for an upcoming project," Stinger Rider says, as Mechanoid watches him closely. "While I'm working on multiple options, the Prototype Core could be just what I want. Your usage of it is the type of experiment I hope to perform to test its viability. I helped you install it, you get to upgrade yourself, and I get my test. A mutually beneficial partnership."
Mechanoid looks at Stinger Rider, "Agreement met."
Red Maxsaur Ranger and Zero-1 Rider Shining Hopper double jump kick Mechanoid, knocking him back and up against a column, with explosions going off around Mechanoid.
More explosions go off throughout the factory, before Red Knight Ranger, on his Dino Force Cycle, and Zero-1 Rider, on his Cell Cycle, drive through the explosions and smoke.
Mechanoid's eyes lie up, before he seats up on a table in the hideout.
Tye walks over to Mechanoid, "Welcome back to the world of the conscious."
"Accessing memory files," Mechanoid says, as he gets off the table. "Remembering last battle with the Rangers and their new allies." He touches his chest. "The Prototype Core overheat."
"Unfortunately."
Mechanoid turns to see Stinger Rider approaches him.
"But while the Prototype Core was lost," Stinger Rider continues. "Its energy residue was absorbed by you, which could still help you in growing stronger."
With his hand against his chest, Mechanoid slowly closes, before looking at Stinger Rider, "Query: what's the next step?"
"Heroes Alliance"
At Nexus Technologies, Albert is typing at his workstation, when Palmer walks over to him.
"Mr. Reece, I want to remind you that a class from Rimestone High is coming by for a tour today," Palmer says.
Albert looks up at him, "A high school class?"
"Yeah, it's probably a public relations stunt to make up for Nexus Technologies' bad press lately," Palmer guesses, as he walks away.
"Probably," Albert says, as he watches Palmer, before looking back to his computer.
Albert then notices the NG Bot, Info, is entering the room with a group of students, including the six unmorphed Rangers.
"This is just one of several workstations for Nexus Technologies programmers," Info explains to the students, before noticing Palmer is walking over. Info's earpieces glow blue, before he continues. "Mr. Nat, can you spare a programmer to answer questions for students of Rimestone High?"
Palmer sighs, "I'm far too busy for such a thing." He turns to see Albert is looking over. "But Mr. Reece seems to have enough time."
"Oh me?" Albert points at himself, before quickly standing up. "Yeah, sure, I-I can answer questions.
Palmer walks away, as Albert rubs the back of his head and a couple of students are holding back their laughter.
At Lucy's lab, she is typing away at her computer, as Ray approaches her.
"Busy as ever?" Ray asks.
"I'm concerned about the Prototype Core, so for safety, I'm running a citywide energy scan," Lucy says. "And I got something."
"Got what?" Ray asks, leaning in.
Lucy types some more, "I'm detecting similar energy signals entering from the edge of Neutron City. Coming from the direction of Proto City."
Ray straightens up, "Albert's still at work. I'll handle it on my own."
Ray turns to see leave, with Lucy watching him, "Be careful.
Back at Nexus Technologies, Albert is in front of the group of students.
"So, does anyone have any questions for me?" Albert asks.
"Excuse me," Mackey raises a hand. "But I don't think I understand why Info couldn't answer questions we might have about programming."
"Well, unfortunately, NG Bots' knowledge about Nexus Technologies programs has been limited lately due to recent reprogramming of their systems," Albert answers.
"Are we safe?" another student asks.
Albert smiles, "Despite everything that might've happened in the last couple months, I honestly believe that NG Bots are the future, and by working with humans, we all could better everyone's lives."
Albert notices Info, who is standing off to the side, starts to smile.
Mackey looks over to Kent, who has a hand to his chin, "Everything okay, Kent?"
Kent looks over to his friend, "It's just that Mr. Reece seemed familiar."
Mechanoid is walking through the woods, when Ray steps out from behind a tree.
"Shouldn't you head back to Rimestone City and get beaten up by some Rangers?" Ray asks.
"Observation: I will evolve and grow stronger," Mechanoid says.
"I heard that before," Ray holds up a Data Key. "And it only led to trash."
Ray inserts the Data Key into his TransBlaster, "Accessing Wild Wolf."
Ray holds up the TransBlaster, aiming it with both hands, "Access Code: Vulcan!"
Ray fires a wolf head projectile, which flies back to him, turns into energy and forms his armor.
Vulcan Rider then runs ahead, firing his TransBlaster, with Mechanoid crossing his arms to block, before Vulcan Rider kicks him. Mechanoid swings an arm at Vulcan Rider, who rolls under the attack and kicks him in the side. Mechanoid turns and fires his cannons, but Vulcan Rider jumps to the side and fires the TransBlaster, blasting Mechanoid.
Vulcan Rider lands and starts to get up, when a blast goes off next to him, keeping Vulcan Rider back. Vulcan Rider turns to see Stinger Rider, aiming the Case Bow, and Falco Rider.
"You too, again," Vulcan Rider says. "What are you up to?"
Stinger Rider lowers the Case Bow, "Mechanoid got a job to do." He looks to Mechanoid. "Go ahead."
Mechanoid nods his head and starts to walk away.
"Hey, wait!" Vulcan Rider turns to stop him, when suddenly, Falco Rider flies past him, striking Vulcan Rider as he goes and lands ahead.
Vulcan Rider flips onto his back, before getting up to aim his TransBlaster and looks around to see he's alone.
Vulcan Rider straightens himself up and tabs the side of his helmet, "Lucy, yeah, we got a problem…"
The group of students had spread out throughout the room, with different programmers and Info.
Kent approaches Albert, who is next to his workstation, "Mr. Reece, thank you for answering our questions."
"You can just call me Albert, and it was my pleasure," Albert says.
Kent notices Albert's computer, "What are you working on?"
Albert turns back to his computer, "Actually it's a side project. I'm working on a way to lower a damaged power core's energy output to either prevent or decrease an explosion."
"A power core?" Kent responds.
Albert looks back to Kent, "I was inspired by certain recent events."
Kent smiles, "You don't say."
Albert's smartphone, lying next to his computer, beeps, before he picks it up, "Excuse me." Albert walks away slightly and holds up his phone, "Yes, Lucy."
"That Mechanoid guy and our old friends are heading into town," Lucy's voice says over the phone. "Their current path is leading them to the Nexus Technologies Power Plant."
"Okay, I'm on my way," Albert says, before he hands up the smartphone and then starts to hurry by Kent. "Sorry, I have to go."
"Yeah, sure," Kent says softly, as he watches as Albert leaves.
Mechanoid is walking through a city street, with people and NG Bots running away from him, before Albert, Ray, and Lucy run out to several feet behind him.
"Stop there," Lucy quickly says, with Mechanoid turns to face them. "Mechanoid, right? You are in danger of going critical."
Mechanoid holds a hand to his chest, "Observation: my onboard analysis said the same thing." He closes a fist. "But if I can absorb energy from the power plant, then I can stabilize my condition and grow stronger."
"That's too risky," Albert says. "Your systems could overload before you manage to stabilize."
"Conclusion: I will take the risks," Mechanoid says.
"Well said," Stinger Rider says, as he, Falco Rider, and several Corrupbots arrive next to Mechanoid. "Go on, we will handle this."
Mechanoid nods his head, then turns to leave.
Falco Rider looks over his shoulder as Mechanoid walks away.
"We will stop you and Mechanoid," Albert says, before he holds a Data Key in front of the Zero-1 Transbelt.
"Accessing."
"We will see about that," Stinger Rider says, giving a small nod.
Albert, Lucy, and Ray insert Data Keys into their Zero-1 Transbelt or TransBlasters.
"Rising Hopper."
"Accessing Rushing Cheetah."
"Accessing Wild Wolf."
"Access Code!" the three say, as Lucy and Ray fire their TransBlasters, as their bodies glow and their armors appear.
Stinger Rider, Falco Rider, and the Corrupbots run ahead.
Zero-1 Rider, Valkyrie Rider, and Vulcan Rider run ahead.
Back at Nexus Technologies, the six unmorphed Rangers are talking among themselves.
"Are you certain?" Jackie asks.
"I can't be a hundred percent, but yeah, I'm pretty sure Albert is Zero-1 Rider," Kent says.
"Do you want to confront him about it?" Arno asks.
"There really no reason to…" Kent starts.
"Attention! Attention!" A loud voice echoes through the building. "There's an attack on Neutron City. This building will enter lockdown for safety."
"That's surprising," Buffy says.
"Not really, I heard this building was the target of an attack a couple weeks ago," Mackey says.
"Students and teacher of Rimestone High School, allow me to assure you all will be safe here," Info announces to the room.
"But people might not be safe out there," Jackie says.
"Agree," Kent says, before the six of them approach Info. "Excuse me, Info, but we aren't feeling too well."
"All six of you?" Info tilts his head. "That's a probability impossibility…"
"Can you tell us where the restrooms are?" Henry asks.
"Of course," Info says, before pointing to the side. "Down the hall, on the right."
"Thank you, very much," Kent says, before he and his friends hurry out of the room.
Down a hallway, the unmorphed Rangers are hurrying, as they look around.
"No one around," Henry says. "But still, how can we just morph and get out without anyone seeing us."
Buffy notices a window at the end of the hall, "It's not like the building is taller than our Zords."
"Let's go," Kent says, as he and his friends run toward the window, insert their Dino Totems into their Knight Morphers or Arno's Mosa Blaster.
"Dino Knight, Visor Up!"
Kent morphs into Red Knight Ranger, Jackie morphs into Pink Knight Ranger, Mackey morphs into Blue Knight Ranger, Buffy morphs into Green Knight Ranger, Henry morphs into Black Knight Ranger, and Arno morphs into Gold Knight Ranger.
Suddenly, the six morphed Knight Rangers fall from the building and land.
"C'mon," Red Knight Ranger says, before leading his friends away from the building.
A large group of Corrupbots fire their blasters, forcing Vulcan Rider to roll back as he tries to return fire with his TransBlaster.
Falco Rider flies around, dodging Valkyrie Rider's TransBlaster, before he flies straight at her, striking Valkyrie Rider and knocking her back.
Stinger Rider pulls back the bowstring on the Case Bow and fires a large blast that sends Zero-1 Rider flying back.
Vulcan Rider and Valkyrie Rider regroup around Zero-1 Rider, who returns to his feet.
Stinger Rider, Falco Rider, and the Corrupbots stand together.
"Look like today I will be able to get rid of you three," Stinger Rider says. "Talk about an unexpecting surprise."
Suddenly blasts go off in front of the large group, keeping them back, before the six Knight Rangers run over to Zero-1 Rider, Vulcan Rider, and Valkyrie Rider, with Gold Knight Ranger having his Mosa Blaster aimed.
"How is this for a surprise?" Gold Knight Ranger asks.
"You're still here too?" Vulcan Rider asks.
"Complaining?" Green Knight Ranger asks.
"Not at all, we love the help," Zero-1 Rider says.
"A few helping hands won't make much of a difference," Stinger Rider says, before pointing at Red Knight Ranger. "You couldn't beat me yesterday, after all."
"Today will be different," Red Knight Ranger says.
"Alright, let's go!" Zero-1 Rider says, as they all take fighting stances and run ahead.
Blue Knight Ranger jumps ahead, striking at a Corrupbot, before back kicking another. Pink Knight Ranger uses her Dino Blade to hold down a Corrupbot's blaster, before striking it, then turns and strikes another. Vulcan Rider roundhouse kicks a Corrupbot, blasts another Corrupbot, and then punches a third Corrupbot.
Green Knight Ranger flips through the air, strikes a Corrupbot, spins, strikes another, and then spin kicks a third. Black Knight Ranger runs past two Corrupbots, strikes them both, before side kicking a third Corrupbot, sending it flying backward.
Falco Rider grabs Valkyrie Rider's wrists, holds them down, and then spins her around, before he sidekicks the approaching Gold Knight Ranger. Falco Rider double kicks off Valkyrie Rider, sending her flying backward, but Valkyrie Rider, in midair, fires her TransBlaster, blasting Falco Rider, who is knocked back. Gold Knight Ranger, who is on a knee, holds up his Mosa Sword, before he turns around and strikes at the passing Falco Rider.
Stinger Rider fires his Case Bow at the approaching Red Knight Ranger and Zero-1 Rider, with Red Knight Ranger deflecting each attack with his Dino Blade. Zero-1 Rider then jumps off Red Knight Ranger's back, flips over Stinger Rider and kicks him in the back, with Red Knight Ranger strikes Stinger Rider as he forces forward. Stinger Rider turns around before Red Knight Ranger and Zero-1 Rider sidekicks him, knocking him through the air.
Stinger Rider lands on his feet, as Falco Rider is knocked over to him.
"This had been an annoyance," Stinger Rider says.
"Glad to hear it," Red Knight Ranger says.
Stinger Rider and Falco Rider look ahead to see Red, Pink, Blue, Green, and Black Knight Rangers are driving toward them on their Dino Force Cycles, color-coded motorcycles with different animal heads on the front.
"Dino Force Cycles," the five Knight Rangers hold out an arm, before grabbing the handlebars. "Force Beam Blast!"
All five Dino Force Cycles' cannons fire a large energy beam, which hits the ground in front of Stinger Rider and Falco Rider, causing a large explosion.
Stinger Rider and Falco Rider are forced back, with smoke surrounding them.
"C'mon, we should've brought Mechanoid enough time," Stinger Rider says.
"Right," Falco Rider says, before they turn away to leave.
Zero-1 Rider, Vulcan Rider, Valkyrie Rider, and Gold Knight Ranger run over to the other Knight Rangers as they dismount their Dino Force Cycles.
"That was incredible," Zero-1 Rider says.
"Mhm, not bad," Vulcan Rider says, crossing his arms.
"That's high praise from him," Zero-1 Rider whispers to Red Knight Ranger.
"Oh no," Valkyrie Rider says, with a hand to her helmet, before looking at the distance. "I'm detecting Mechanoid is reaching critical mass." She turns to the others. "He will explode soon, and take a large chunk of the city."
"Then let's go," Red Knight Ranger says, as the Knight Rangers mount their Dino Force Cycles, with Gold Knight Ranger getting on behind Red Knight Ranger, Vulcan Rider getting on behind Blue Knight Ranger and Valkyrie Rider getting on behind Pink Knight Ranger, and Zero-1 Rider gets on his Cell Cycle.
They then drive off.
Mechanoid is walking through the city, with red electricity surging around his body, when the Rangers and Riders pull up on the side, dismount, and approach him.
"Mechanoid, you need to stop, you're gonna reach critical mass," Blue Knight Ranger says.
"Not… gonna… stop…" Mechanoid continues to walk.
"We'll see about that," Vulcan Rider says, as he, Black and Pink Knight Rangers try to hold him back, but Mechanoid continues to take small steps forward.
"We're running out of time," Valkyrie Rider says.
Red Knight Ranger turns to Zero-1 Rider, "Can your research into decreasing an explosion help here?"
Zero-1 Rider looks to him, "How could you…? Wait, it's you?!"
"If you got something to help… you better use it soon," Vulcan Rider says, as he, Pink and Black Knight Rangers, try and fail to hold Mechanoid back.
"Right," Zero-1 Rider starts. "Well, simulations show a strong electric field could contain a large explosion."
"We can handle that," Valkyrie Rider and Gold Knight Ranger say together.
Within a few moments, Valkyrie Rider, now in her Lightning Hornet armor, and Gold Knight Ranger, now in his Spino Shock Armor, stand side by side.
"Go ahead, I'll match your energy level," Valkyrie Rider tabs the top of her TransBlaster.
"Whatever you say," Gold Knight Ranger says, as he aims his Mosa Cannon. "Spino Cannon Blast!"
"Rider Stinger Blast!"
They fire their weapons, blasting Mechanoid with electricity blasts, as they merge and surround Mechanoid, who stops moving, as the electricity field solidifies.
"Okay, that's incredible," Gold Knight Ranger says.
"You better hurry," Valkyrie Rider turns to the others.
"Lambeo Stretch Guard!" Blue Knight Ranger, with an Armor Guard on his arm, waves ahead his Dino Blade, with the blade stretches, wraps around the electrified Mechanoid, before he pulls on the Dino Blade and throws Mechanoid into the air.
"Pachy Stone Armor!" Pink Knight Ranger, in the Pachy Stone Armor, runs ahead and jumps up, punches Mechanoid, launching him higher in the air.
"Go!" Vulcan Rider yells, as he fires his TransBlaster and Black and Green Knight Rangers swing energy strikes from their Dino Blades, blasting Mechanoid even higher in the air.
"Ready?" Zero-1 Rider, now in his Shining Hopper armor, looks up.
"You bet," Red Maxsaur Ranger, the Red Knight Ranger in his Maxsaur armor, responds.
Zero-1 Rider and Red Maxsaur Ranger jump up, with Zero-1 Rider speeds ahead to perform a kick and Red Maxsaur Ranger spinning in a corkscrew strike.
"Rider Shining Kick!"
"Max Spiral Strike!"
Both attacks hit Mechanoid, sending him even higher in the air, where he explodes harmlessly in a massive blast.
Zero-1 Rider and Red Maxsaur Ranger land and look as the explosion dissipates.
"Alright!" Zero-1 Rider high fives Red Maxsaur Ranger.
"Morphenominal!" Red Maxsaur Ranger responds.
"Wait, what?" Zero-1 Rider asks, with Red Maxsaur Ranger holding back his laughter.
Shortly later, the unmorphed Rangers and untransformed Riders are standing together, with Kent and Albert shaking hands.
"Thanks again for the help," Albert says.
"Again, it's the least we can do," Kent says.
Ray crosses his arms, "I just don't believe that the famed Power Rangers are teenagers. All the teenagers I have ever known are usually overbearing and overemotional. No offense."
"Oh, none taken," Buffy mocking says, with a grin.
"I hate to break up the celebration," Lucy starts, looking at the unmorphed Rangers. "But I detected a teleportation just before Mechanoid went critical. It's entirely possible he wasn't destroyed."
"It wouldn't be the first time he survived," Henry says.
"It's too bad we can't help you guys out with those Negadons," Albert says.
"We understand," Kent responds. "And we wish we can help you out."
"We each got our own battles to fight, but we are still united in spirit," Arno says.
Albert smiles, "That's a great way to point it."
"We better hurry back," Jackie says.
"Right, we don't want Mr. Andrews to get worried," Kent says.
The unmorphed Rangers start to walk away from Albert, Lucy, and Ray, waving their hands.
"Catch ya' around," Kent says.
"You too," Albert says, returning the wave.
"Mmhm, fanboy," Ray smiles.
"Like you weren't having fun fighting with them," Lucy tells him, with Ray shrugs his shoulders.
In their hideout, Tye approaches Stinger Rider.
"What was the point of the attack?" Tye asks. "The only thing that happened was several of our own NG Bots were destroyed, and we didn't liberate any of the mass produced ones."
"They can and will be restored, which is the true strength of NG Bots, as they can't truly be destroyed," Stinger Rider tells him. "As for the gambit with Mechanoid, if he succeeded, then we would have a means to power the N1 satellite using the energies from the Power Core. And if he overloaded and destroyed the power plant, then we would've struck a devastating blow to our enemies."
"As it stands, we didn't lose or win," Stinger Rider continues. "But I promise you, Tye, none of it was at a waste, as the next step is ready."
Stinger Rider looks away from Tye and at a table, where a NG Bot is lying, wearing a Viral Transbelt.
