"Monster" submitted by Tommy from Lavaridge, Hoenn.
"Bedtime, champ," Daddy announces. Normally, he has to pry a Trainer Red comic book from me before he tucks me in, but this time, my hands have been clutching my blanket, and I've been quiet. There's no fuss tonight, and Daddy chuckles, amused.
"Well, that was easy." He kisses my forehead. "Goodnight, champ. I love you."
"I love you, too, Dad," is what I usually say... But...
"Dad...?"
"Hm?"
"There's a kecleon. Under my bed, Dad."
Daddy sounds like a mean grubull when he lowers himself to his knees and checks. "I don't see anything, champ."
"It's a kecleon. Dad."
A/N: hewwo. im writing drabbles to encourage free writing and to work on telling shorter length stories. my challenge is that they're all 100 words even, minus the titles and headers and whatnot.
these drabbles are standalone but knowing my inability to NOT constantly world build, many are likely take place in the same imagined world lol. so, welcome to glimpses into the natureverse (aka my chia pet garden brain)!
i love feedback. critical or casual, so plz feel free to share your thoughts and theories and suggestions and recommendations and everything. thank u for reading :)
