Lying in the grass, all you have is you and your senses, the sky, and your company.
Next to me is my cyndaquil, Simmer. She is quite warm and sound asleep. She likes Dragon Valley because the grass here is especially high and thick and rises above us like test dividers. We're only a foot apart, but the grassy shield provides the illusion of solitude she needs to rest at ease.
Cyndaquil are timid creatures, but they're not much different from us humans. We all need space to ourselves.
Occasionally, I try to give her what training doesn't allow.
