Episode 1: Why can't we be friends Part 1

We start off the series as the camera stops as feet walk above it. A young girl trips over it and cries to her mother who scolds a cameraman off screen. We are in a standard airport. Feet and luggage avoid the camera laying hopelessly on the beige tile floor. As young boy drops a Nintendo DS infront of former boy band member, Chris McClane who shoves the blonde little boy out the way. "If you don't have a show, get out the way!" Chris shouts as vacationers and regular people get out the way. He is a tall, black haired, hero. People gasp as he walks by them. However they yawn as he marches a line of teens over to a terminal. The grainy camera pick up our first teen. We see a girl with lime green hair sitting in a wheel chair, she immediately follows Chris in the front of the pack
Start Matt interview
"So, who are you?" A cameraman asks the girl.
The girl smiles politely, "Hi my name is Matt, yes I am a girl and my name is Matt," Matt says before she chuckles.
"You must get asked this alot bu-" The cameraman says before he was interrupted.
" Well… if you must ask I was born with arthrogryposis. It's a condition that you know I was born with," Matt says soberly.
"Ha, I'm basically a bad luck magnet," Matt laughs as she rubs her bright hair.
"Nice…" The cameraman says.
"Nice?" Matt says confused.
End Matt Interview
Close behind her were 2 more campers, one was a shaggy looking dude with a wooden guitar. In his pocket was an Ipod blasting rock music into his ear drums.
"Ahhh," Lance said as his eardrums were assaulted with music.
Next to him was a brown haired girl. Her two pigtails were emblems of flowers and horses. She looks irritated at Lance. In her pocket was also an Ipod playing a video of horses frolicking in a field. As they walk she is still irritated at Lance.
She sighs calmly before saying, "Oh my goodness. Will you please turn that music down! It is interrupting my daily horse therapy. Don't make me have to hoove you. You won't like it when I hoove you," Miranda scolds him.
Lance laughs at her face, and says, "Yeah whatever," Before he puts his Air buds back on.
Miranda scoffs before she puts her clunky pink headphones back on. However her headphones are push back off as Nikita, a black haired Indian girl who was wearing a two piece beige suit with a plain lime green shirt underneath.
"Out of my way losers. I want to know who is charge here. Ugh stop blocking my path. I bet you don't even need this!" Nikita says as she attempts to move out the way.
"Hey watch the wheels," Matt shouts at Natika.
Start Nakita Interview
"Ok so how do you pronounce your name," The cameraman asks off screen.
"Oh my goodness stop it. My name is Na-Kita. Do you need it on the side of a sports drink bottle? You know what. What's your name," Nakita asked, infuriated.
"Joe," The cameraman says.
Nakita looks at the camera defeated before she leaves . The plastic white barstool she was sitting on crashes down.
We see the camera turn around as a raggedy looking college boy rolls his eyes into the camera.
End Nakita Interview
Chris turns around to see Nakita who is attempting to pull Matt out of her wheelchair.
"Let go of me!" Matt shouts as she pulls onto her gray wheelchair.
Nakita tries to pull her out of the chair, "Let me in, my legs are tired you don't need it,"
"Enough of both of you Nakita go to the back of the line," Chris says as he points behind the crowd of teenagers.
"Ugh" Nakita shouts as she stomps away toward our the Co-Host, Claire.
As Nakita marches to the back of the line, we see Milly, a blonde pale girl writing down something in a light brown, leather notebook.
"Interesting, she must be very entitled. I assume she's mid to upper middle class," Milly says as she writes it down with a black pen.
"Ha, that's what I thought," Travis Little, a browned haired, freckled boy wearing a blue tank top and jeans.
"Oh! Looks like we have something in common," Milly says as she blushes. Travis notices and blushes back.
"I'm… Milly. Milly Devoe," Milly says flustered.
"Hi… I'm Travis. Travis Little, studying for psychology, you?" Travis asks.
Milly nods her head in agreement. A spec of her hair manages to fall out of her ponytail. She immediately puts it back.
"And I'm Jackson Scales," A dark, brood figure says from behind them. They look back in horroh to find him, "And you two are my target," Jackson says evilly.
"They call me Jack the ripper," Jackson says.
Immediately, Travis faints as he begins to go through a vision.
Travis' Vision
Travis sees himself and the other teams on the gray airplane. They sit there as Travis is having a conversation with Milly. They are confronted by Jack who has a knife in his hand. Travis screams as his vision ends.
Present
Travis pulls himself up before asking, "Did something happen?"
He is quickly walked around by a pretty girl wearing a white crop top.
"Don't leave yourself behind," Luna Ellinor a model for the McClane agency says charismatically. She smiles and winks into the camera.
Start Luna Interview
"So you said you worked for the McClane Agency, I never knew Chris had his own modeling agency," The cameraman asks Luna who is propped up with a fuzzy yellow.
Luna laughs, "Not Chris, his more successful brother Kyle owns it,"
"I never knew Kyle McClane and Chris McClane were related I thought it was only a dumb coincidence," The cameraman chuckles,"
"No," Luna says plainly.
End Luna Interview
Aj Carr, a black guy wearing a white T-shirt, black jeans, and a black baseball cap aproaches the back of Luna, "Got any fries to go with that shake?" Aj asks. Luna looks back, touches his face, and says it's going to take more than that to get with me.
"Hey! I got jokes for days, I'm the comedian to everyone but my dad," Aj says somberly, Luna raps her arm around his shoulder.
"Don't worry, I believe you," Luna says as she winks toward the camera.
The camera rolls back to a asian girl with a ponytail she is wearing a floral dress with a tan hat. She is currently talking to Mimi Monteblanc, a very small girl who is holding a book, Andrew Dewitt a heavyset boy wearing a gray hoodie and holding a manga, and Gareth Hillcrest a tall boy wearing a simple, white T-Shirt and blue jeans. He is awkwardly standing to the side of them, as they talk he observes quietly.
Start Gareth Interview
"So what hobbies do you have?" The cameraman asks Gareth who is sitting comfortably on his chair,"
"What's a hobby?" Gareth asks in a monotone tone.
"Nope, end the interview," The cameraman asks as the screen turns black.
End Gareth Interview
Finally, toward the back are three more contestants, towards the front of the back if that makes sense is Brittany Carter. She was a tan, rich girl who wore her short, blonde hair freely. Her light blue tank top and white jeans took the attention of all the boys in the crowd. Including the boy standing directly behind her.
"Can I have one of your hoops," Lucas asks, he is full of sweat as he awaits Brittany's answer. She looks up from her beeper to look at the Gremlin awaiting the white earring on her ear.
Brittany Scoffs, "These? Oh please, these hoops are worth more than your entire family,"
Lucas begins to sweat more. He is anxious for Brittany. "Yeah totally," Lucas says disappointed. His plan for the girl has failed, but he would still try.
"Good try dude," Vincent, a familiar figure of television said.
Start Vincent Interview
"You look very familiar here it says your name is Vincent Salazar, have you been on any other show?" The cameraman asks curiously.
"Why yes I have been on brunch of other TV shows. You might know me as the season 14 and 17 winner of Survive. The top American competition show.
"Are you afraid of being seen as a threat?" The cameraman asks.
Vincent chuckles.
"Afraid, I'm use to it," Vincent says smoothly.
"Me as a threat is as much a fact as my first name being Vincent," Vincent says smugly.
"Wow, I wish I had as big of an ego as you have," The cameraman claps back.
"Excuse me?" Vincent says in disbelief.
End Vincent Interview
At the end of the line not including Nakita is Claire, a shy 24 year old who worked as an intern for CMB for 6 years. Although she's ecstatic about being a co-host she hates the attention. She tucks her long brown hair into her green beret. The camera goes back to Chris who brings the teens to a halt in front of their is covered with fuzzy gray coaches with red pillows.
"OK, dudes and dudettes. Here is our terminal, our flight leaves in a few minutes, so socialize but don't be too comfortable.
The camera shifts to Travis who is standing lifelessly in front of the glass. He stares down the airplane. The stormy afternoon is reflected of the bright white airplane.
"Boo!" Milly says as she creeps behind him. Travis leaps back and gets a sigh of relief.
"Thank goodness, it's just you!" Travis says relieved.
But, their heads turn as Chris prepares to announce something,
"Ok campers, so I thought why not just do this now. Anyways, thanks to your personality test that you completed I have created your teams, so…. I will list you off now," Chris says awkwardly. "Ok, so starting with the Dolphins we have Mimi Montblanc, Milly Devoe, Mellissa McCloud, Luna Ellinor, Gareth Hillcrest, AJ Carr, Travis Little, and… of course, the one, the only Jackson Scales," Chris announces.
Travis turns in horroh to see Jackson smiling at him. Travis knows it means hours off endless tourture. Jackson knows it means endless fun.
"Now, uhhh can you guys sit on this couch in front of me. I need some photos for promos," Chris says as he points toward the light gray couch next to him.
The eight gather. Mimi, Milley, Mellisa, and Luna sit on the stairs as Gareth, AJ, Travis,and Jackson stand above them. Chris takes out his tiny black camera from his pocket and snaps a photo. The flash startled the team and after their photo is done they all rub their eyes, hoping to retreat from the brightness.
"That means that Nakita Rawaldi, Nui Li Feng, Matt Robinson, Brittany Carter, Lance Williams, Lucas Everett, Andrew DeWitt, and Vincent Salazer are on the Spiders!" Chris announces.
"You know what that means," Chris says as he non verbally gestures toward the couch. The girls sit as the boys stand. They are shocked by lack of flash and they walk away awkwardly.
As the Spiders get off the couch a woman wearing a blue outfit steps out, "Is this the Chris McClane party?" The attendant asks.
"Si!" Chris say excitedly, "You know what that means, grab your stuff and kiss the crappy airport food behind you are going to Isle de McClane!" Chris announces as the teens gather their bags and get ready to leave.
As two men open the gate for the plane the teens rush through like a flowing river. They manage to knock one of the men down.
Commercial Break
After the break goes off, our favorite teens are gathered onto the plane. Travis rubs his head as Milly attempts to comfort him. Mellisa is listening to horses, Gareth is talking to Mimi who is visibly board. Jackson is lighting matches as AJ talks to Luna. On the other side, Nui is talking to Vincent. Lance is listening to soft rock music while Lucas sits excitedly next to Brittany who is bragging about herself to Nakita. Matt is listening to Nui's conversation while Andrew reads manga alone. Chris and Claire walk around the room asking the campers about their opinions, here are the results.
AJ's opinion
AJ sits in front of a silk white wall with one window. "Bruh, Ok, ok so… this cast is whiter than a Brittany Sparks concert. Like where is the representation. I mean I am like the only black guy here. There's a indian girl but I don't expect her to get far at all. Not to mention that asian chick, I haven't talked to her. I think she might be chill. But you know I don't know," AJ says
Lance's opinion
"So…. these people are interesting. I can't really see myself, the indifferent guitarist fit in with any of them. They're friendly, I guess but i just don't really have much to say about them," Lance says as he holds out his wooden guitar.
Brittany's opinion
"In one word I would have to say lame. That's right L.A.M.E," Brittany says before she scoffs and leaves.
Nui Li's opinion
"Just being here is incredible, but everyone is so nice here. I already have friends. This is like a major accomplishment from me. Especially since my sister, Kendall was the one that everyone flocked to. Some say it's hard to have a Mary Sue as a friend. Yeah right, try having a Mary Sue as a sister. Wait, she isn't watching this right?" Nui Li asks.
Airplane
"We will be landing within the next five minutes, I repeat we will be landing within the next five minutes. Please gather your belongings and thank you for flying McClane," The female pilot announces.
"Chris, you silly bugger, I never knew you had your own airline!" Mimi says to Chris with a smile. Chris responds disappointed with a slump. "It's my brother, Kyle's airline. Not mine," Chris sighs as he turns away from Mimi and looks out a window to see the beautiful Flordian island of Isle del McClane. The former tourist attraction of the eighties was rediscovered by CMB in around 2001. However instead of hosting a concert or blowing the island up, they repainted the stucco buildings, covered the water damaged roofs with spanish tile, and gave the ownership to the face of the channel's rebranding, Chris McClane. Chris sighs as he thinks about how bad he did as a mascot. He sighs as he remembers that if this fails he is kicked out of another job, just like how he was kicked out of the boy band he created. As the plane got lower to the lushious runway Chris, realized that this was all or nothing for his career and he was going to bring his all.
"We are landing at Isles De McClane, good luck campers!" The Pilot said wickedly.
"Ok everyone, get your stuff we need to leave the plane now!" Claire announced as she rushed the Spiders out of the plane.
Chris awakened back from his daydream, "Yeah! Dolphins! Evacuate the plane, I will show you your dorms," Chris announces.
"Oh dorms!" Luna says excited.
"Man I can't wait for college," Mimi says excitedly to Melissa who is next to her.
"I can't wait for you to shut up,"Melissa says before she leaves the plane leaving Mimi distraught.
The camera shifts to Claire who is with the Spiders. They separate from the Dolphins and head to the left of the plane. They begin to walk to a beige building with a brown wooden door.
"Ok, so here is the door to the girls' dorm, also here is where you will confess everything to the camera. Tell the camera your secrets and feelings," Claire says before Andrew tries to walk past her and get into the confessionals, "No! Not now," Claire says.
"Girls you go now," Claire says as the girls take their suitcases. Claire walks the remaining four boys to a white building across from the girls dorm, "Here is your dorm, and I want you to know, you can visit the girls dorms," Claire says as she winks, "That's all good luck soldiers, your first challenge is tomorrow!"
