Episode 6: That's not how you use a paddle

The episode starts in the female dolphins dorm room. Outside of the small, brown, wooden window is a dark blue sky. Luna sleeps in a fuzzy pink outfit on the top left bunk, Milly reads silently in her top right bunk across from Luna, and Milly snoozes in light blue pajamas in the bottom right bunk below Milly.
Milly looks at the camera, creepily recording the girl's cabin before she looks back down at her large book that she puts in her lap.
Milly Confessional
"Ummm so for the safety of me and the other girls on my team can you please not pull a Mr. Peterson and stop recording us sleeping. It gives me freak chills. I mean like an all male camera crew recording girls mm mm I don't think so," Milly states as she folds her arms in disgust. She shakes her head.
End Milly Confessional
A loud horn goes off causing Luna and Mimi to caustically wake up meanwhile Milly drops her book from her lap which land loudly on the floor nearly hitting Mimi's foot.
"What was that?" Luna asks, irritated.
"It sounded like an air horn to be honest," Mimi sheepishly says as she rubs her eyes.
"Yeah… Mimi's probably right… wait that means… ugh Chris be behind this," Luna says frustrated. They look out the window to see
"WHAT DO YOU WANT?" Milly yells out of the window.
"Come down and I'll tell you," Chris says back as he looks through the window.
The first to come out is the spider boys.
"Ugh come on why so early?" Vincent asks annoyed.
"Do we have to do a challenge?" Asks Andrew, "Please I don't want to lose anyone," Chris smiles at Andrew silently.
"SAY SOMETHING," Lance says as he shakes McClane. Chris smiles as Claire interviens.
Andrew sighs depressed as he watches. After them the Spider girls come out.
Brittany storms in dressed in an elaborate 4 piece pink and black suit. She glares at him.
"If you ever disrupt my sleep again, you will be personally ended by my father, trust me I'll call him," Brittany nags.
Chris backs up defendedly, "Hey not my fault you woke up,"
Brittany scoffs.
"Come on Brit, I'm sure it was something important,"Nui says comfortingly, she touches Brittany's shoulder.
Brittany slaps Nui's hand off her shoulder, "Don't touch me?" Brittany schoulds.
Nui rubs her hand as the dolphin boys come down. They are the last to arrive.
"What was that for?" Travis asks, tired.
"You'll see soon," Claire hints.
"If you ever wake me up again, that would be the last thing you'll ever do," Jackson says in a scarily calm voice.
"Ok no more threatening Chris," Claire says as she pulls Jackson away.
AJ walks somewhat lazily out to the rest of the competitors.
"Wake up soldier!" He can hear in his ear. He has a flashback to his 13th birthday. He wakes to see his over demanding father standing over him.
"Your late, soldier. You'll have to give me 50… later. Happy birthday to ya," Chef says caringly.
AJ is taken aback, "Umm thank you?" Aj replies cautiously.
Chef smiles back at him. Aj doesn't know why he should feel afraid. Aj cracks a small smile.
It goes back to present day.
"Ok so… is everyone here?" Chris asks.
"Yes," Claire says as she counts the campers.
"Ok, so why are you up so early?" Chris talks.
"Why are we up so early?" Milly asks impatiently.
"Well I was about to explain. We just got a new sponsor for our show. The 500 dollars from an unknown person obviously can't really be enough so after some negotiating the Suncrest resort will be our sponsor for the next 2 days. That's why we'll be leaving the island for those 2 days and compete in the hotel's movie lot. This should give us more ratings worthy challenges. During the night… you will be staying at the nearby Gruberry motel," There are several groans from the campers, "Groan on those rooms at the resort are expensive, anyways… the plane leaves in 5 minutes you each can bring one item so…. Go," Chris says as the campers scatter toward their dorms.
Milly grabs her book as Luna takes a fuzzy pillow, Mimi takes her Ipod. Travis takes a camera, Jackson takes a loaded backpack as Aj reluctantly takes his wallet. Lucas brings a picture of Brittany, Lance brings his bass guitar, Vincent brings a photo of him winning Survive, and Andrew brings a manga book. Brittany brings her phone and Nui brings a picture of her brother.
The campers load onto the helicopter with their possessions.
"Ok are we good?" Chris asks the teens. He gets several yes responses.
"Ok then let's go," Chris says as the helicopter takes off.
After a minute the helicopter goes down and lands on a sandy, white beach.
"We're here," Chris announces.
"Already? What was the point of even taking a helicopter if the ride would be that short?" Lance asks.
"Hey I don't get to use this everyday," Chris says as he opens the doors to the helicopter, "Vamonos people," Chris says as he gestures the campers out.
"Woah," Luna says as she steps out. In front of everyone is a tall white building with a spanish tile roof. It is outlook a white beach with a crystal blue ocean.
"Come on, I'll show you the way," Claire instructs. Claire walks across the street with the campers in toe. She walks through the automatic glass sliding doors into the luscious lobby of the resort. It is filled with tourists and several large palm trees.
Chris walks over to the check in counter.
"Do you have any reservations for a… Chris McClane?" Chris asks.
The brunette receptionist looks up, "You were the person who' rented our entire soundstage for two days?" The receptionist asks.
"That would be me," Chris smirks confidently.
The receptionist leans in, "I think it would be better if I give you your receipt another time,' The receptionist whispers.
Chris' eyes widen.
"Anyways… your stage will be the first building to the right," The receptionist smiles as Chris drags himself and the other campers to the stage.
He opens two large wooden door to see a small platform in the middle surrounded by a pit of water.
"Ok so… today's challenge, you will be fighting one on one with another camper using paddles, you know the thing you row a boat with. You will face another camper in a battle. Whoever falls off the platform into the water loses. The people with the most amount of points win," Chris says as he wonders about his bill. He realizes he's sponsored by the hotel and he doesn't have to pay for it.
"Ohhh," Chris says.
"Hmm?" Mimi responds confused.
"Nothing, our first pairing is… um Travis vs. Lucas," Chris reads off a paper.
Lucas gulps as he receives a wooden paddle from Claire. Travis looks at him nervously from across the room. He sets his camera down as Chris hands him a paddle. The two climb up the steps to the small size stage awaiting them.
Travis steps on a red dot on the right side of the stage as Lucas goes onto a blue dot on the left.
"Ok so… 3… 2… 1… FIGHT!" Chris shouts as the two nervously confront each other.
"KILL HIM! For me," Brittany yells smuggly.
Brittany Confessional
"During my time here, I've learned that Lucas would do anything for me, so why not use that to my advantage and get him to stop wimping out and fight the guy," Brittany says before she scoffs.
"So you're taking advantage of him?" The cameraman asks.
"Uh duh," Brittany says before she rolls her eyes.
End Brittany Confessional
As Lucas hears this he leaps onto Travis. Travis covers himself in fear. Lucas hits Travis multiple times with the paddle before he picks the worn out Travis up and throws him into the water.
"I did it!" Lucas says as he points to Brittany, "For you,"
Brittany turns red of embarrassment as Lucas jumps into the water and hugs her afterwards.
Brittany half pushes him away, "I know you aren't going to get my $500 Chice crop top wet," Brittany says as she looks down at her shirt.
"Oh sorry," Lucas says as he backs up.
"That's one point, Spiders!" Chris announces, he looks back to his paper, "Ok soo the next battle is for the ladies, Brittany you will be going against Luna," Chris says as he looks up and hands Luna a paddle. Brittany receives a paddle from Claire. The meet each other on their dots.
"Don't hit me too hard, it took me forever to get this makeup on," Luna says as she feels her face.
"3...2...1… FIGHT!" Chris announces.
Brittany immediately bolts toward Luna who moves slightly to the left in terror. This causes Brittany to halt herself, which makes her fall into the sea of water below.
"I think you have something… all over," Luna says sassily as she throws her paddle overboard onto Chris who catches it. Brittany balls up her hands as she stomps off the stage.
"One point dolphins, that's 1 to 1. Anyways our next pairing should be… interesting we got Lance going against Aj," Chris says as he looks up to Aj.
"Chef," He whispers in Aj's ear. Aj immediately becomes extremely pissed off. We get the second part of the flashback. This takes place at night, the two are out in the field
"Ok so for your birthday, I decided you should learn an extra skill to defend yourself," Chef says as he pulls out a knife from his back pocket.
"Wha- what?" Aj says as he frantically walks backwards.
"Oh you little chump, I'm not going to stab you. The whole thing is that I'm teaching you how to throw knives," Chef says as he softly tosses a knife to Aj. It slashes his forehead before he and the knife drop to the ground.
"I'm not going to be the funny guy!" Aj declares.
"So cute," Luna whispers to Mimi who's next to her.
"You never really told any jokes to be honest…" Lance says, "Plus my army training will take you down. Simple," Lance continues as he receives his paddle and walks up the steps to the stage.
"I guess you and me are alike," Aj says as steps on his dot.
"I… guess so," Lance says as he reaches his dot.
"3...2...1… GO!" Chris announces as the two bolt each other.
As the paddles clash Aj erupts, "You never loved me dad!"
"Dad?" Lance says confused. As he continues his fight.
Lance realizes that Aj is going through some pain and after getting a few swings to the stomach and taking some swings to the head, Lance decides to bail and after being hit in the nuts he falls backwards into the water creating a large slash which covers his team.
"That means the Dolphins have the lead 2-1," Claire says as her head is buried into a soaked hoodie. She does not look amused as Chris snickers at her wetness.
"Ha… phew. Anyways we have another girls fight, Nui you will be going against Milly," Chris laughs.
"But doesn't that seem unfair, I have a height advantage," Nui says.
"Great, that gives you an even better guarantee to win," Chris says as he hands Milly the paddle.
"I'm right here, thanks for your support," Milly says sarcastically.
"No problem," Chris responds with a smile.
Milly walks up the stairs, Nui is already there waiting for her.
"I've been waiting to get win a padel fight off my checklist for months, I guess today will be the day," Nui says intimidatingly. She traded her floral dress for a red tank top with yoga pants.
"3…. 2…. 1…. GO!" Chris announces. The two speed walk towards each other. They hit each other back and forth in several places with the paddle ultimately the fight is over once Nui smacks Milly's leg.
"The dolphins win! Again, the score goes 3-1," Chris says as the Spiders groan in disappointment. Milly drags herself down the stairs into her group, "Our second final match up is Andrew vs. Jackson. Andrew should I begin to write your will now?"
AJ Confession
"Ok so this is part where the underdog gets a surprising victory because he's facing the main antagonist. Please I've watched too many 'inspirational' movies to know where this fight is going,"
End AJ Confessional
The two remain on their dots.
"3...2...1… GO!" Chris shouts, he is underwhelmed when Andrew immediately is smack by the paddle causing him to fall face down in the water.
"Umm the dolphins win another 3-2. This final fight can resolve into a tie. It is Mimi vs. Vincent!" Chris exclaims.
"I can't do this, she's a girl plus she's half my size. You know what, dolphins you can have the victory. I don't really care," Vincent says as he throws down a paddle.
Both teams gasp.
"Umm I guess that means the Dolphins win," Chris shrugs confused.
"What did you do that for?" Brittany asks annoyed. "You lost it for us… kinda," Brittany scoffs.
"What queen Brittany said," Lucas says.
"Well sorry, I guess I shouldn't use my moral compass," Vincent says.
"Exactly you shouldn't," Brittany says.
"What you did did take determination, but it didn't help us at the end of the day," Lance says.
"I guess…" Nui says. No one pays attention as Andrew finally gets out of the pool.
"What happened?" Andrew asks, confused.
"Victor quit the challenge because he's a good person," Nui says kindly.
"Dolphins follow me," Claire says as she takes the dolphins out of the room.
"Well campers… it looks like you will have to vote someone out wet or not," Chris jokes. He waits for laughter but gets nothing.
"Nothing, okay just write who you want out on these sheets of paper," Chris says as he pulls paper strips from behind his back.
After a 10 minute break Chris comes back to them.
"Ok, I got your results. Those who are safe with no votes are Nui, Andrew, and Lucas," Chris says as he tosses them marshmallows.
"Also safe is… Brittany," Chris says, he tosses Brittany a marshmallow which she immediately eats.
"Lance, you sacrificed yourself for the mental health of your competitor, Vincent you sacrificed yourself for the safety of your competitor. One of you will be going home… that person is….
Vincent," Chris says as he tossed Lance a marshmallow, "The check out area is to the left,"
"Meanwhile, the other campers… I think you should check out where you will be staying for the night…" Chris says as they pass Vincent walking out the building. They walk across the street to a shady looking, two story motel.
"Welcome to… the gruberry motel," Chris says as the campers stand there in horroh.
"Come on, girls your going to be on the second room on the bottom floor, boys you will be on the second room of the top floor," Chris says as the campers cautiously walk towards the motel. The camera follows the girls. Brittany opens the door to the motel and shuts it immediately in shock.
"Can I sleep outside?" She asks Chris, he shrugs back.
Nui walks inside before the episode ends.
