Hermione has stated many times that Fleur is a very passionate being. Most of it with her being a veela, but as well of it being a part of her personality. When she wants to do something, she does it with all the power and energy she has. There is no half work when it comes to Fleur. She is a passionate being and a fervent supporter of her believes. But most of all, she is very zealous in anything which involves Hermione, because she will support Hermione in any way she can and will put her entire self into something just to lighten Hermione's load.

Hermione was aware that her S.P.E.W recruitment was close to none, the Hogwarts students not seeing the importance of the house elves to have the same basic rights as humans do. It does not matter that they are not the same species as wizards and witches, they deserve to be treated with respect and dignity and not just left to the hands of cruel magic folk who believe they have the right to abuse them.

House elves were living creatures too and did not deserve to be treated like slaves. They had a right to life just as wizard and witches had.

Ron and Harry did not show much support to her club formation either. Harry reluctantly accepted one of the large badges which she made, but Ron was all but against any kind of participation in fighting for the House elves rights, simply stating that it was a way of life which they were used to.

"Just because they are used to it does not mean it is right!" Hermione argued, gripping the box full of S.P.E.W badges tightly while she glared at her red-headed friend.

"They like it Mione! Just why are you trying to fix something that isn't broken?" Ron argued, throwing his hands in the air in annoyance.

"Because it is broken! Just because it is something that is deemed 'normal' does not mean that it is right! They deserve to have freedom just as you and me!"

"You are making a fuss out of nothing! Just quit this SPEW thing and be done with it!"

"For the thousandth time, it is not SPEW! It is-"

"My, aren't you quite fiery this morning ma belle."

Hermione immediately tensed at the voice behind her, groaning inwardly as she recognised the French lilt in the owner's voice. She heard Ron suddenly choke on his own air and seeing his shocked red face, along with Harry's own flustered one, she had an idea of just who was behind her. Hearing several giggles behind her, Hermione couldn't stop the groan slipping past her lips as she slowly turned around and was met with French students dressed in blue.

Fleur stood in front of them, smiling widely as her eyes lit up at the sight of the brunette. Hermione couldn't help but scowl at her. No matter where she goes, the veela always somehow manages to find her. She doesn't know if the blonde simply likes annoying her or is just bored. She doesn't know which one she prefers.

"What do you want?" Hermione asked bluntly, eyeing the blonde as she raised her hand and held it against her cheek, a gleaming smile tossed her way.

"I was simply coming to say good morning to you, that is all."

"I don't believe you." Hermione said, shifting her hold on her box. Fleur pouted at that and moved her hand to cover her heart.

"You wound me ma belle. I have a sensitive heart, you know." Hermione rolled her eyes.

"Yeah right."

"How rude ma belle." Fleur pouted, earning a few giggles to echo around her from her other classmates. Hermione rolled her eyes again and sighed, shaking her head and shifting the box again in her arms.

"Well, if you are quite done 'greeting' me, I have some recruiting to do so please excuse me." Hermione turned to go recruit some members for her club, fully expecting to be done with the conversation with the blonde but then she was surprised to hear the blonde's voice call to her again.

"Recruiting for what?" Hermione paused and turned back to see Fleur looking at in curiosity, along with the other French girls.

"For the Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare, or S.P.E.W for short."

Fleur hummed in thought and then turned to the box full of badges in Hermione's arms. Noticing the veela's eyes, Ron snapped out of whatever daze he was in and stepped in front of Hermione, attempting to block the box.

"Y-You don't have to worry yourself with such a silly thing. It is a joke really-"

"It is not a joke Ronald! House Elf slavery is wrong!"

Ron flashed her an annoyed look and then smiled at Fleur and the others.

"Don't mind her, she is just-"

"We would all like to join please." Fleur suddenly said, looking at Hermione expectantly. The Beauxbaton students looked at Fleur in surprise but did not voice any rejection to the idea, all looking at Hermione expectantly. Hermione's jaw dropped.

"Really?" She asked in disbelief.

"Really." Fleur said with a smile. Hermione stared at her in slight suspicion before shuffling the badges in the box.

"They are two sickles each." She said slowly, fully expecting them to reject it just the others have so far. But then she was surprised when Fleur suddenly pulled out a small pouch of coins and all but tossed it in the box.

"Done and keep the rest."

Hermione blinked in surprise as each French student helped themselves to a badge and flashed her a smile before heading of down the corridor. Fleur gave her a delicate wave with a bright smile.

"Until we meet again ma belle!"

The golden trio stared after the blue uniformed girls in shock, unsure on what to make of what just happened.

"What just happened?" Ron was the first to ask, staring at his two friends in shock. Harry blinked out of his trance and looked at his red headed friend before turning to his brunette.

"I think…Hermione's club just got more than three members."

Hermione just stared after the fading uniforms and didn't listen to what Ron began to say because her eyes were just on the blonde figure which was walking away. Just what was the blonde playing at?

Hermione let out a frustrated groan as she took her glasses off and all but tossed them onto the coffee table, unable to deal with the headache pounding in her head anymore. Her act of frustration not going unnoticed, Fleur popped her head out the kitchen door and frowned.

"What is wrong mon amour?"

"Just these stupid ignorant fools called officials." Hermione snapped, rubbing the bridge of her nose as she let out another frustrated sigh. Frowning, Fleur wiped her hands with the cloth before tossing it on the counter and then heading to sit beside her tired girlfriend, wrapping an arm around her shoulders.

"Just what are these fools doing that are frustrating you so much?" She asked, pressing a kiss to Hermione's temple, and then moving her hand which was on the brunette's shoulder to the back of Hermione's head and gently beginning to massage it. Hermione couldn't help but appreciative moan at the sensation, closing her eyes and leaning into the touch. She took a deep breath and then sighed as Fleur continued to massage her head.

"I have started up a petition to get the House Elves Rights Legislation passed in the ministry, but so many of the higher ups are blocking any way for me to get important figures to sign them. I know that I am not there yet, but it is seriously just stupid with how stubborn they are being. All creatures deserve equal rights and I just need a few higher ups to give their support and then it will be processed into the ministry! But those damn fools are doing whatever it takes to stop it from happening!"

Hermione could feel herself getting worked up again, but then a hand on her arm stopped her from getting up and Fleur pressed a little hard on a pressure point which made the brunette's headache ease a little.

"Can anyone sign the petition?" Fleur asked, pressing another kiss to her girlfriend's cheek. Hermione nodded.

"Yes, anyone can. But I need at least a dozen high official signatures to be able to get it considered a priority. And so far, all the English ones are being blocked off by my higher ups. It's just so frustrating."

Hermione leaned her head more into Fleur's hand, sighing as Fleur kept massaging. She honestly was so tired, she just wanted to go to bed. But if she does not find a way to get more signatures, there is no way she can help even the house elves in the wizarding world. And she can't allow all her effort to go to waste. She has made it her goal to protect their rights and she intends to carry it out.

Fleur was quite for a moment, her lips pursed in thought before she smiled and pressed another kiss to Hermione's cheek. Hermione opened her eyes and looked at her questionably, noticing the sudden giddiness, which was filling her, but the blonde said nothing but pulled her up from the arm.

"Go have a both mon amour and go to bed. You need the rest."

"But-"

"It will do no good to the House Elves if their most avid representative burns herself out from exhaustion. Go to bed and I am sure that it will all be sorted out tomorrow."

"But my stuff-"

"I will handle it for you ma belle. Go have a bath and change into your pyjamas. I will join you soon enough."

Hermione wanted to argue but she knew better not too, especially since Fleur seemed determined to not let the brunette argue back. So, with great reluctance, she nodded her head and headed towards the bathroom, the sound of a warm bath sounding rather tempting as she got closer to the bathroom.

Hermione will admit the next morning she did feel a little bit more refreshed than she has been for the past few days and she felt like she had more energy than she usually does which she can use for a new workday. Fleur had spent the night with the brunette but was surprisingly missing when Hermione woke up, not being in the home at all while Hermione got dressed and ready for the day.

When she was about to leave for work, she was in a mild panic because her petition paperwork was nowhere to be seen and Fleur wasn't with her to tell her where she put them while she was cleaning up last night. So slightly annoyed, Hermione headed to work to face another day, needing to figure out a new way to get more signatures on her petition.

It was probably in the mid-morning when she got a visit from her girlfriend and she looked rather smug, even more than usually as she fluttered into and ignored all the blatant staring from Hermione's colleagues.

"Fleur, just what are-"

"Here you go. Two dozen of higher up signatures for your petition." Fleur interrupted, passing Hermione the papers which contained all the work of the petition.

Hermione stared at her in confusion before paging through the paperwork and her eyes bulged out when she saw the names of the new signatures which have been signed to the petition, a few she could recognize quite easily. Hermione shot her head up and stared at her girlfriend in amazement and shock.

"Did you ask your clan to sign?" She asked in amazement and Fleur nodded.

"Of course, Grandmama was quite impressed and actually scolded me for not bringing it to her sooner. In fact, my aunts and uncles also signed the petition, along with a few other members of the clan. Mother says good luck by the way, she is one of the first ones to sign too."

"F-Fleur…this is-"

"All for you. Now I hope you teach those fools just who they are messing with." Fleur said, a cheeky smile on her face which just made Hermione burst into laughter before jumping up from her desk and wrapping her arms around the blonde's neck to pull her into a kiss, showing her appreciation for the blonde's gesture.

Fleur is always a zealous spirit when anything revolves around Hermione. If there is any way she can help the brunette, she will do it immediately. Yes, she may go at great lengths most time, but each effort is the most sincere and genuine thing ever and so Hermione cannot help but appreciate just how far Fleur will go for her. Hermione is her everything and Fleur is the biggest support system that the brunette has.
