When she walks away, Columbus says, "That news came right on time; did you want to get out of here?" She replies, "Yeah I do; but not quite yet." He sees the pause on her face and says, "Ahh, you're waiting for him." She replies, "No, not really Colby, I was just going to say goodbye. That's all." He unwisely replies, "When is it ever goodbye between you two?"

She gives him a look, which makes him quickly correct the smirk on his face, as he says, "I am going to go, before I say something that makes you hate me okay." She responds, "I could never hate you Colby; I just would appreciate some tact on this subject, or just don't say anything about it at all." He responds, "Fair enough. I am going to head to my apartment, and I will see you tomorrow." She replies, "Okay; be safe, and take care." They share a hug, and they go their separate ways.

As she looks around the room; she doesn't see him anymore. She's walked from one side of the room to the other, and he's nowhere to be seen. As tall as he is; if he was in the room, he should be easy to spot. As she places her glass on a nearby table, to take her phone out of her purse, she drops her napkin. After sending him a text of her address, and asking him where he is, she picks up the napkin, and she looks up and sees him sitting down with Bellamy sitting next to him.

They are talking and laughing; she smiles watching him, his smile and laugh are infectious. But when she sees her put her hand on his, her smile leaves her face. She sees them sitting there and she's touching him, but he's not doing anything to push her away politely or otherwise.

She feels herself getting angry, a part of her wants to go over there and make a scene. But the part that wants to stay employed, tells her to walk away. So she errs on the side of common sense, and walks away after finishing her drink. She decides going home is best.

When she arrives at her apartment she goes inside, and is met by Josie. She picks her up and sits on the couch holding her. She thinks back to him talking to Bellamy, and she gets mad all over again. Now she wishes she hadn't sent him that text with her address.

How can she bring herself to be so jealous over this man? Why didn't he push her away? Maybe Colby is wrong, maybe he's intrigued by her. These thoughts and many others are filling her head. Her mind snaps out of thought as her phone rings. She sees the caller id and rolls her eyes. But yet she answers.

"Hello," she says in a low tone. He notices her tone right away, but replies, "Hey where are you?" She scoffs as she says, "So you finally noticed I wasn't there huh?" He knows she's upset, and he doesn't want to fan the flames. So he takes a breath as he responds, "Ker come on; where are you?"

She sighs as she says, "I'm at my apartment." He replies, "Okay I am on my way." She wants to tell him not to come over; but the words don't come out. Instead she says, "Okay." When he hangs up he shakes his head; but then smiles. He knows that she's pissed at him, but being with her will be worth the scolding he's sure to receive. After making a pit stop; he arrives at her condominium. He likes the building, its close by, and it's very secure. He punches in the key code to get into the building, and he makes his way to her condo.

As she pours herself a glass of juice, after changing into some yoga pants and a matching top; she hears a knock on the door. She breathes deeply, and goes to open the door. When she opens it; he's standing in front of her, with a dozen roses, and a bear that says, "I'm sorry," on its belly.

The combination of the look on his face, and him holding the gifts for her, make her crack a smile as she says, "come in." He sees her half smile, and he knows he is half way to turning this around. She takes the flowers and bear, as he offers them to her, and says, "Thank you for the gifts. But what are you apologizing for?"

He replies, "You're welcome; I'm apologizing for upsetting you, and I am apologizing because I love you, and I don't want to fight with you." She's standing toe to toe with him as he grabs her hands; his touch causes electricity to flow through her body, it's like a button is pressed.

She stares into his eyes, and gets lost; she doesn't remember why she's mad. She feels his hands slide around her waist, his touch is like a pain reliever, it erases all the hurt. She finds herself slipping away, just his touch, changes things in her.
