She wakes up in bed alone; but smells something delicious and familiar. She smiles at the thought, as she gets out of bed, and puts on one of his T shirts she stole from him. She follows the scent that has her stomach swirling, and ends up in the kitchen. He's standing at the stove cooking, as Josie sits by him waiting for him to drop her some scraps as he cooks. Her tail is wagging and she's doing the cutest beg dance; the one she always breaks out when daddy is near.

However, when she sees Kerry; she stops begging, and comes to her. Tony turns around as he sees her walking away. He sees her holding Josie. "Well hello sleepy head." She smiles as she says, "hello there. Are you making my favorite?" He replies, "Yes I am, and it's almost ready. Can you set the table for me?"

She responds, "Of course I can. But where did you get all of these ingredients? I haven't been shopping yet." He says, "I ordered it from Ralph's." She smiles as she says, "I didn't know there was a Ralph's nearby. Thanks for letting me know; I love that store." He replies, "Me too; grocery shopping yourself is overrated." They share a laugh as she sets the table complete with wine glasses.

As they sit down to eat; he notices she's wearing one of his Brandeis University Tee shirts. He smiles at her, as he places her plate down in front of her, as he says, "You look better in my shirt than I do." She smiles as she says, "Thank you," and they share a kiss that almost leads to them skipping dinner. But they manage to behave themselves.

After the kiss breaks she feasts her eyes on her plate. Baked salmon with seafood risotto. "It smells amazing T." He replies, "Thanks Ker, I hope it tastes just as good." He takes a seat after pouring her a glass of wine; they begin to eat, and they both agree, the food is fantastic. As they enjoy their meal, they talk about the cast party and the cast members. They both agree the cast is very talented, and friendly. They both feel an air of excitement with this project neither of them have felt before.

After the shop talk he asks, "How is Columbus doing?" She responds, "He's fine. Why do you ask?" He responds, "Ker I am asking because he's the only one who knows about us, and he's not a fan." She sighs as she says, "He's not going to say anything to anyone Tony, and he's just worried about me. You have to admit that it's not the best situation."

She sees that her words are settling in his mind; she can feel the familiar talk coming. He knows he could go about this conversation in a variety of ways; but he doesn't want to pick the wrong path, and end up arguing. They do that way too well; largely because of their intensity. Other than it always ending up in passionate make up sex; nothing else positive ever comes out of it.

Before he says anything she says, "I would tell him the truth; but I don't think he could handle it." The look in his eyes tells her that he knows she's not being completely honest. He doesn't want to argue; but he feels like he has to say what's on his mind. "You mean you can't handle telling him the whole truth. Isn't that really it?" She sighs as she finishes her last bit of food and washes it down with the last bit of wine.

She sees the change in his body structure and his eyes; she knows this is an argument they have had too often, that always ends the same way. Feeling like she wants and needs for things to be different; she changes it up by admitting the truth. She says, "Yes it is." Her response floors him, and she can tell that he is shocked.

Having finished his food and his wine too, he gets up and takes her hand, leading her to the couch. She takes his hand and follows him. As he sits down she sits down next to him, and he says, "Say that again." She smiles as she says, "You're getting your wish; I am willing to admit it. I am scared of him knowing the truth." He asks, "Why are you scared?" She replies, "Because I don't know what he will think of me, and I don't know if he will understand." He understands her dilemma, and for the most part, he can see why she feels this way.

It's probably easier for him to think it's a cliché relationship, then to tell him about he and Jane's arrangement, and that she knows about Kerry, and their relationship. Not to mention the great relationship Kerry has with his sister Liz, his daughter's Anna and Tess, as well has his brothers. It's not the easiest life; but it's theirs.

Since they met in 2004, while working on various political campaigns and committees. It's been a non-stop love affair that has had more twists and turns, than any rollercoaster on the planet. Initially, they convinced themselves they were just friends, but the flirting was instant and constant. They have so many things in common from one matter to the next.

Sharing the same politics and love for the arts, as well as their love for activism and protecting those who can't protect themselves. Their connection was much more than physical. They managed to keep their feelings at bay, trying not to fall into something neither of them could get out of.

But they failed miserably, and couldn't walk away from their magnetism to each other. Doing the right thing over a four year period, became more of a fleeting thought, than their reality. Especially, once she learned the truth about his marriage, and his relationship with his wife, and he learned about the struggles between her and her fiancé David.

She was able to confide in him, and share her woes. He listened, and he saw her. He really saw her and understood her plight, without judgment. He provided a stability and a comfort for her she never had before. It was unconditional love and support, she'd only felt from her parents. The bond of their friendship intensified their connection immensely; they became each other's sounding board, and support system, the rockier things got in their personal and professional lives, which only made their love for each other grow.

Over the years, they've battled many issues breaking up, and getting back together, since they gave into their feelings in November of 2008. They watched the acceptance speech of Barack Obama, from her hotel room, on relay after making love for the first time. They worked tirelessly for his campaign and chaired two committees that led to his nomination and then his victory as President.

That night sparked a love they both can never let go of, and has taken them on the wildest of rides to present day. Because of their back and forth drama; they can't stay away from one another very long. No matter what, they will always belong to each other. Regardless of how far apart they are physically, their hearts beat for one another, forever and always.

He's offered to divorce Jane several times, but Kerry's worry about the publicity of the situation makes her pull back whenever he brings it up. So ironically, the only way they can be together is if he stays in this situation.

As she lies with him, she sees him in thought, and she hopes he understands her position this time. Surprisingly he says, "I get it Ker; I don't like it, but I get it. I don't care if he thinks it's a typical situation, as long as we are together." She smiles at him as she leans in to kiss him; their kiss is sweet and subtle. It ends with them smiling at each other and her in his arms, as he kisses her forehead.

She asks, "So what did you have to tell me." Coming off the back of his thoughts a moment ago, and knowing she is probably going to freak out. He still says, "I moved out of my dad's house, and bought a house in the hills." She sits up looking at him. He feels her body language changing. He sees the worry in her eyes, and before she asks he says, "Relax, I didn't leave her."

She replies, "What does she think about you moving out?" He responds, "I don't know; I didn't ask her opinion. But she knows I've moved out and why. So I figured that's enough."

She doesn't know how to feel in this moment. On one hand she should be happy. But on the other she is concerned. If it gets out that he's living alone; this could come back to bite them. He sees her in thought. He asks, "What's wrong?" She asks, "What if the media gets wind of you moving out?" He says, "Well, I think I am old enough to live alone Kerry. So why would they care?"

She replies, "Cute T; but you know what I mean. When you were living with your father it was a great reason for you to spend so much time away from your family, while you were working here. But with a separate residence; it looks suspect."
