He completely disagrees with her logic, as he responds, "Kerry, it only looks suspect to those who are looking to make it look that way. I don't think me getting my own place is a problem. As always, Harvey will make sure no real details are in the media. So why worry? No one is talking about me or us. So there's no need to think that's going to change now, after 4 years why would there now be chatter about us? Besides, it's a place we can go together. It's deep in the hills, no cameras, no cell phone reception, and it's gated. It's our place; you said you wanted a place for us. Remember?"

She is still concerned; but she knows he's right. Harvey has been a great friend to them. No one has been wise to their relationship over the years. It really has been the best kept secret. Plus the house sounds like a slice of heaven, made just for them. Somewhere they can just be, and not worry about the fallout. She comes back to reality recalling the conversation about their house fondly, and smiles as she says, "Yes, I remember. It's just that we have to be careful." He says, "I know we do, and we will be." His confidence softens her stance; she feels the energy in the room change as he pulls her close.

He allows her to settle into him as he says, "We can make this work to our advantage; we get to see each other every day, and sleep together every night for 9 months out of the year." The thought of having that much time together, is unbelievably satisfying to her ears. She's missed him so much, and he's missed her too.

She's thinking about it and it's sounding good to her; but then she thinks about why they've been apart for the last three months. She looks up at him as she says, "What about the way we left things?" He takes a breath as he says, "I am sorry about that baby; that wasn't supposed to happen." She replies, "But it did. I walk into our suite and Jane's standing in the living room."

He responds, "I know babe; it was regrettable. But what do you want me to do?" She replies, "How about you help her understand that her popping up out of nowhere is not a good look. It's embarrassing, and she's doing it on purpose to watch us scramble to fix the situation, and ruining our time together in the process." He feels her anger and frustration; however, he knows she's right. It's what she does. She likes to cause trouble at times, by crashing events she knows they are at together. It's been a random act she's played over the years, and admittedly, he's tired of it too. But again, his hands are tied.

He strokes her face, and again he asks, "What do you want me to do babe? I can't control her. She's grown." Kerry knows he's right; there's nothing he can do. The fact is she's his wife, and can show up wherever he is, and he's obligated to be by her side. She takes a breath as she says, "I know that you can't do anything about it. I just resent that she does it, and we don't know when it's happening until it does. The idea of it pisses me off."

He responds, "I know it does; but the one thing we can count on, is the fact that she hates red carpet events. With this show, we will have to do tons of them. So we should be safe for those." She agrees; she's not coming near a black tie affair. She adds, "We will also have to do a press tour too." He smiles as he says, "That's correct, and travel together, from city to city."

The idea makes her grin too; them together on the road promoting the show is sure to be a treat. She's suddenly feeling much better about them working together. He can see her relenting; her eyes are calmer, and she's receptive to his words, and his touch. She climbs on top of him; feeling the need to be closer to him.

As she straddles him he gets comfortable on the couch, and pulls her down onto him. She smiles at him as they kiss, and he grips her securely. She says, "I can't wait to spend every night and day with you." He grins at her as he says, "Me either baby. I love you." She replies, "I love you too." As they kiss he holds her, and caresses her. He begins to caress her back, as they kiss deeper and deeper.

Their kiss breaks as Kerry feels something moving between them. Their kiss stops and they look down to see Josie sliding between them. They both laugh as they see her looking up at them, now sitting between them. She's staring at Tony, and puts her paws up on his chest as she wags her tail. Kerry says, "She's obviously missed you, and is determined to get her time in." He responds, "I missed her too," as he rubs her and she grunts with delight.

Realizing Josie was taking center stage in the moment; Kerry gets up and sits next to him, as she sits in his lap and he pets her. She looks so happy and content sitting on his lap; like it's where she's wanted to be. Kerry can relate; she feels the same way. Wherever he is it's home for her too.

As they relax and chat; catching up since their time apart. She asks, "Why did you take this part?" He replies, "Because you were the lead." She responds, "Are you serious?" He says, "Yeah, I am. Initially, I didn't read the script. I just knew that Shonda was writing it, and you were the lead, and that was good enough for me." She smiles at him; he loves her smile. It lights up the room. "You wanted to be near me that bad?" He replies, "Yeah, I did. I've missed you very much baby." She responds, "I've missed you too."

The moment is nice, and soothing. She smiles at him, as she runs her fingers through his curls, and says, "The idea of you doing this project because of me is sweet baby." He replies, "If it involves getting you in my arms on camera or off; I am game to do it." He always makes her feel so special; it's one of the best things about him. He never stops making her feel like she's the only one.

They share a sweet kiss and she says, "So assuming you've read the script by this point; do you regret taking the role?" He replies, "No, I don't. I feel like it's art imitating life for me." She pauses for a moment, and then thinks about his character's feelings for Olivia. It's oddly similar to his feelings for her. She looks at him with the realization showing in her eyes. He smiles at her as he says, "Freaky huh?" She replies, "Yeah it is."

He again sees worry develop in her eyes as she asks, "What happens if our feelings bleed over?" He replies, "Stop worrying Kerry." She says, "Tony you know I am right about this. What if our feelings come through?" He replies, "We are both professionals Kerry; we can pull this off. Don't you trust me?" She responds, "Yes I do." He says, "Good, then just follow my lead, and we will be fine okay?" She nods yes, and he slips his fingers between hers, as they share another kiss.

Seeing the day is fading into the night; they get up and clean the dishes. After finishing their domesticated duties; she asks, "Where are your bags?" He responds, "In my car. I wasn't sure if you'd let me stay or not." She laughs as she asks, "Did I really look that mad?" He replies, "Yes" with a smile. She says, "I am sorry; but when I saw you talking to Bellamy, and she was touching you, I couldn't focus on anything else."
