After they complete the scene; the day carries on, and the synopsis for the next episode is delivered to the trailers. When Kerry gets back to her trailer; she sees the synopsis for the next episode waiting for her. After changing her clothes; there's a knock on the door.

She opens it and its Columbus. He says, "Hey what's up lady?" She steps back letting him walk in as she replies, "Hey Colby, what's up?" He walks in and has a seat on the couch. He sees Josie and picks her up to hold her as he asks, "Are you okay?"

She sees him holding her and smiles at the image, as she responds, "What do you mean?" He replies, "Kerry I know the scene with them was done today. So I am checking on you. You seemed a bit annoyed at the second table read for the scene."

She replies, "Colby that's sweet of you. I know I appeared upset before; but I am good now." He checks her out by looking at her from different angles; he must admit, she doesn't look upset, she looks like she's good. She laughs knowing what he's doing, and he laughs too after a few seconds.

He says, "Well, you look great. But I had to make sure you were okay, that's all." She smiles as she says, "Thanks Colby, I appreciate you." He responds, "I know you do. Hey are you going to be at Shonda's for the viewing of the pilot?"

She smiles as she says, "Of course." He smiles as he says, "Good. I am excited to see our work. I think it's going to be awesome." Kerry says, "I know I think it was good too. I just hope the network likes it. She sends it to them today. So we should hear soon if they like it." Colby says, "Well we are already looking at the synopsis for the next episode; so that's a good sign that they have faith in the production."

Kerry agrees; it's rare that a show shoots more than a pilot before being green lit. But Shonda's track record of successful productions in the past, has gotten her some leeway. Kerry says, "Grey's still running strong has gotten us some favor. But it's up to us to pull this off."

He replies, "I agree with you wholeheartedly. Oh, did you look at the synopsis for the next episode yet?" She replies, "No not yet, why do you ask?" He responds, "It looks like you and Tony have a host of scenes coming up in the next episode. I think this is going to be a love story."

Kerry replies, "Really, that's not how she painted the picture at all." He responds, "Well, it surely seems like she's going in that direction, even Bells agrees. Check it out when you get a chance before the table read." She's now intrigued since Bellamy also thinks there's a love story brewing. She wants to rip into it right now; but she doesn't want to appear desperate so she says, "Yeah I will have to do that for sure. But in other news, what about you? How are you doing?"

He replies, "I am good; I am adjusting to the wonderful weather and beautiful surroundings." She looks at him when he says beautiful surroundings, and she says, "Really Colby?" He laughs as he says, "Hey I am just having fun Kerry; don't worry about me. I'm not causing any trouble; I promise."

She doesn't believe him; but also doesn't want to fight about it either. He's grown and can do whatever he wants; she's not his mother. He sees her look of criticism growing. He says, "Kerry, trust me. I've got this okay?" She replies, "Okay Colby; I will let it go. Just be careful okay?"

He nods in agreement as his phone buzzes. He gives her a quick hug, and as he checks his phone, he smiles and says, "I gotta go; but I will see you in a few." She wants to ask where he's going; but decides not to. This way she has plausible deniability of his actions; whatever those may be.

He hands her Josie as he says, "Bye Josie, bye Kerry. See you later." She smiles at him as she says, "Bye Colby be careful, see you later." He responds, "Okay." After gathering her ,and her little one; she heads out the door. She walks out to the waiting car, but she doesn't see Tony. She text's him and he responds telling her he's on his way. He arrives a few seconds later, and they go home.

During the ride they talk about the day; but when they arrive at her condo, he tells her why he was late leaving. Apparently, he overheard Bellamy and Shonda talking in the break room as he was walking by. Bells is concerned about her part, and feels like she isn't getting the key scenes she needs. Kerry rolls her eyes as she says, "Does she realize she's not the lead?" Tony smiles as he says, "I'm sure she knows that; but she is clearly concerned that she won't have sufficient screen time or a significant role to play."

Kerry sighs with annoyance as she says, "She needs to be patient; we technically still have to get the green light for more episodes. Shonda is sending the pilot to the network today. So how can she be upset about her appearance on screen already? Is she an undercover diva or something?"

Tony sighs as he says, "I agree; it's too early to get nervous or upset about roles. That's what Shonda was telling her when I was walking by." She sighs as she replies, "I just hope Shonda doesn't bow down to her trying to appease her, by ruining the story she wants to tell."

Tony says, "I'm sure she won't; she will stick to her current plan, whatever that is, instead of changing anything for someone else's feelings." Kerry agrees; its unlikely Shonda will do anything to accommodate Bellamy right now.

But she also knows that Shonda likes Bellamy; so in time it's possible she will work her way into getting more screen time. But that's not something she can concern herself with. He sees her thinking and asks, "Hey what are you thinking about?"

She replies, "Just thinking about Bellamy and Shonda. I am sure at some point she will give her more screen time. They appear to be friends. But I can't worry about it." He responds, "That's correct; you can't be concerned with what you can't control, especially in this business." She sighs as she says, "Aint that the truth?" He holds her hand as he kisses it, and she smiles at him.

As they sit together he asks, "Did you read the synopsis for the next script?" She replies, "No, I haven't yet. But it's in my bag. Why, did you read it?" He responds, "Yeah, I did, and I like it." She asks, "Really? Why?" He replies, "Its good writing that lets us be good actors. I can't wait to see the whole script. I like where this is going." Thinking about Colby's comment; she asks, "Do you think it's trending toward a love story between our characters?"
